The Effects of Group Psychotherapy on Recovery of Self-identification with the Unemployed Homeless

The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of group psychotherapy on recovery of self-identification with the unemployed homeless. To this end, 28 attending welfare-centers in Seoul area were sampled to be subject to 12 rounds of group psychotherapy for 6 weeks. In order to determine the effects the, test, preliminary test and post-program test were conducted. Every round of the program activities were video-taped, while being observed. The results of this study were as follows. First, the group psychotherapy influenced positive effect. Especially, the unemployed homeless had a opportunity of self-comprehension, self-insight, catharsis, etc. Second, during group psychotherapy, individual characteristics of the unemployed homeless were determined. Third, during group psychotherapy, the unemployed homeless complained about family problem, health, alcoholism, etc.
The Life Satisfaction and It's Related Variables of University Students in Chongju City

The purpose of this study was to investigate the life satisfaction, to analyze the differences of the life satisfaction according to personal factor of university students, and to analyze relationship between adjustment to life and life satisfaction. The questionnaires were administered to 549 university students in Chongju city to measure the demographic information, the life satisfaction, and adjustment to life. As statistical analysis, frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and factor analysis were used. The results were as follows: 1. The life satisfaction was classified into two factors; subjective satisfaction and other person's view of satisfaction. 2. The university students showed negative attitudes toward the life satisfaction. 3. There was significant difference between males and females. Compare to female students, male students responded more positively to the life satisfaction. 4. There were partially significant differences according to personal factors of students on the life satisfaction. 5. There were significant correlations between each variable of adjustments to life and life satisfaction.
Dyeing Properties of Magnolia liliflora Leaf Extract on Fabric

This study investigated the dyeability on silk, wool and rotten fabrics dyed with Magnolia liliflora leafs. In addition, the fastness of washing, perspiration, rubbing, drycleaning and the effects of its pigment on bacterial reduction and uv-B protection were also investigated. . The optimum dyeing condition of the pigments extracted from the Magnolia liliflora leafs was dyeing with 0.5% mordants and three repeated dyeing at
for 1hr. When the wool fabric was dyed with Magnolia liliflora leaf, dyeing properties was the best among the three fabrics. Washing fastness of dyed fabrics was very low, drycleaning fastness was good and the other fastness were good. Light fastness of three fabrics dyed by Magnolia liliflora leafs increased by mordant treatment, especially copper sulfate treatment. The bacterial reduction and uv-B protection of dyed wool fabric with Magnolia liliflora leafs also increased.
A Study on the Transition of Clothing Behavior & Clothing Consumption Pattern of College Students - In Choong Nam Province -

The purpose of this study was to investigate the transition of clothing behavior and clothing consumption pattern of college students in Choong Nam province. 75 subjects were surveyed in 1995 and 2000. For statistical analysis,
-test were used by SPSSWIN program. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Number of clothing showed significant difference according to year and the number of coat and formal wear increased in 2000 compared with 1995. 2. Clothing consumption pattern showed significant difference according to year. College students purchased on sale more frequently and preferred more expensive clothes in the year 2000 compared with 1995. 3. Contentment for clothing behavior showed significant difference according to year and the extent of contentment decreased as years go by. 4. Number of clothing showed significant difference according to sex and female students had more clothes than male students, but the difference between male and female decreased as years go by from 1995 to 2000. 5. Clothing consumption pattern showed significant difference according to sex and female students purchased ell sale more frequently than male students, but the difference between male and female decreased as years go by. 6. Contentment for clothing behavior showed significant difference according to sex, but female students described to not adequate the quantity of feminine style wear and the interest in fashion of male students was increased as years go by.
Study on Dissatisfaction with the Fit of Ready-to-wear Related to Interests in Weight Control - focus on overweight women -

The purpose of this study is to provide the apparel manufacturers who have not been effectively preparing for worldwide trends of rapid increase in overweight population with fundamental data to develop updated domestic market through the findings derived from the actual dissatisfaction factors in purchasing of a garment by overweight body customers excluded in the apparel industry. The results of study are as follows : Considering the relationships with dissatisfaction factors in purchasing ready-to-wear according to the interests in weight control, there is a slight difference in the partial intention from degree of self-recognition of body figure and interests in weight control and motivation of interests in weight control. As a results, first, the more recognition of obesity, the more dissatisfaction with "product variety" and "purchasing decision". Second, the more interests in weight control, the more dissatisfaction with product variety in purchasing of ready-to-wear. Third, the more self-recognition of obesity as the motivation of interests in weight control, there is a high dissatisfaction with product variety.
Needs of Housing in Home Economics Curriculum of Home Economics Teachers

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the housing unit and investigate needs of housing in Home Economics curriculum of Home Economics teachers. The questionnaire survey was conducted 98 teachers participated in the minor training course in Chungbuk, August of 2000. When the teachers made their class in the section of housing, they emphasized respectively as the textual order: the space of housing and family life, the utilization of space, clean of residing circumstance in the middle school: and in the high school there was also concerned to the textual order: choice of housing, the house planning, interior design, maintenance of house. The teachers focused into the arrange of furniture and interior design for the students in the class, drawing of a plan in the contents of practical experience and performance. According to the survey results, the main point of class in housing should be emphasized the arranging of own room and function of other spaces in house for the students in the middle school. The high school curriculum should focus on the practical area to connect with the interior design. And in the section of housing it was needed to add the contents of management in the multi-family housing, housing problems, neighborhood environment for elderly, and also community planning.
