Effect of polymerization in inducing yolk antibodies
Lee, Kyeong-Ae ;
Korean Journal of Human Ecology, volume 2, issue 1, 1993, Pages 17~24
Insulin polymer was used as an immunogen to elicit homogeneous anti-insulin yolk antibodies in a large scale. Insulin polymer prepared was heterogeneous mixture (MW=6,000-70,000). Insulin polymer showed stronger immunogenecity than insulin monomer. The affinity of yolk antibodies elicited with insulin polymer was slightly lower than that of yolk antibodies elicited with insulin monomer. The specificity of yolk antibodies obtained with insulin monomer and insulin polymer was directed mostly to native insulin.

The examinees for Chungbuk National university in 1992 were asked to fill out the questionnaire(The total number was 1054 ; 537 males, 517 females). The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, Crosstabs, Chi-square, t-test, one-way Anova, and Multiple Regression using SPSS/PC+ Program. The results are as follows. 1. Health condition due to an eating attitude: 1) As to health condition due to the food intake freguency, those who intaked fish or meat 3-5 days a week had the best heal th condition, but those who hardly intaked fish and meat or intaked them almost everyday had rather poor health condition. Those who intaked fried foods 1-2 days a week had the best health condition. The higher the freguency intaking such food or instant food was, the worse health condition was. 2) In view of health condition according to an eating attitude, it led to very good health condition to have breakfast & supper, to eat regularly, to select the nutritious foods, and to have a balanced diet. Overeating before sleeping and no meal or overeating before exam made their health very bad. Alcohol drinking & cigarrette smoking as favorite foods appeared significantly high in the boys. The more frequently they drinked alcohol and smoked cigarrette the worse their health condition was. Those who enjoyed milk, soya milk, and korean tea as favorite beverages had the better health condition than those who enjoyed coffee and soft drinks. 2. Influence of Eating Behavior on Health Condition. 1) The food intake freguency and the eating attitude influenced each other. The higher the score of food intake frequency was, the better the eating attitude appeared. 2) As a result of this study for eating behavior influencing on their health condition, the eating attitude influenced health condition, and the higher the eating attitude score was, the better heal th condition could be.

Kim, Keum-Jah ; Lee, Jeong-Soon ;
Korean Journal of Human Ecology, volume 2, issue 1, 1993, Pages 33~44
It is interesting that the costume in the period of romanticism was very fantastic and peculiar in its aspects. The romanticism in the fashion theme of these days' mode represents the image of this France romanticism. Costume has unseparable relations with the style of art in the same period. Especially, plastic art has logical connection with costume because it is an art through silhouette, line, color and texture felt by visional and solid feelings. This kind of study is important in order to understand the fashion of today, to anticipate the fashion in future and to get recognition of costume as a genre of arts. This study is to analyse and compare the general features in the grown-ups' everyday clothes of France from 1815 to 1850 when costume in the period of romanticism reached its peaks with the art of architecture, paintings, sculpture and technology, with the aid of documentary recordings. The above study explain that costume is expressed by the same plastic art of the period if it coexists in the same cultural background. Finally, we can plan the costume in future on an artistic dimension by understanding correctly the characteristics of plastic art which modern costume pursue from an artistic point of view.

I have used questionaire as an instrument of measurement. The length of the time of survey is from February 11, 1991 to February 28. The subjects are 544 first grade girl students of general high schools in Cheong-Ju, Choong-Ju, and Je-Cheon. The analysis of the data includes frequency, percentage, average person's Correlation Program, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test. The conclusion of this study is as follows: The first, it is shown that (l)students's interest in the design and fashion of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such and the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, their religious background, and whether they have boy friends or not, etd. (2)students' interest in purchasing of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, and whether they have boy friends or not, etc. (3)students' interest in the social-psyclological aspect is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as their living area, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, etc. (4)students' interest in the clothing construction is significantly related to only the clothing habits of their home economics teachersl. (5)students' interest in the clothing management is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their parents, the age of their mothers, their religious background, and their sisters. The second, as for the interest of the high school girl students in clothing, it has been shown that those who wear school uniforms tend to have more interest than those who wear free-choice clothes in such areas as shopping, the construction, and management. As for the other two areas, that is, disign and fashion, and the interest in socio-psychological dependence there has been little meaningful difference between the two groups, while the uniform group has shown more interest than the other group. The third, the interest of hish school students in clothing is considered to be most seriously influenced by their socio-psychological dependence out of five areas of interest. It has been shown that the proportion of the content dealing with clothing wearing life in the high school home economics texbooks in relatively small, especially in such areas as socio-psychological dependence, shopping, management, and design and fashion except in construcion.

This research was carried out by both the theoretical and empirical study. For the theoretical study, the research of Fashion Leadership was based on the fashion opinion leadership and innovativeness. For the empirical study, fashion leadership was measured by fashion opinion leadership and innovativeness. The variables influencing on the fashion leadership were measured by use of fashion information (marketer-dominated information, consumer-dominated information, neutral information), preference of fashion advertising (dramatic type, feeling type, goods demonstration type), demorgraphic variables (age, years of education, family income, job, marriage). Data were obtained from 313 female in chungbuk area by self-administered questionaire. The datacollected through the questionaire were analyzed by the stastical technique - ANOVA and Duncantest, t-test, stepwise multiple-regression. The results of the study were as follows; 1. There were significant differences on the fashion leadership, fashion innovativeness, fashion opinionleadership according to the marketer dominated information and neutral information. There were significant differences on the fashion leadership, fashion innovativeness, fashion opinion leadership according to the preference of dramatic type. There were significant differences on the fashion opinion leadership according to the preference of goods demonstration type. 2. 30 percent of the total variance of fashion leadership was explained by the six variables: fashion magazines, TV & Radio advertising, clothing of TV talent & singer, years of education, dramatic type, catalogue. 3. When the subjects were divided into five groups(innovative communicators, innovators, opinion leaders, followers, indifferents) according to their innovativeness scores and opinion leadership scores, there were significant differences among groups in most of use of fashion information, preference of fashion advertising variables and in some of demographic variables. 4. There were significant interactions between marketer-dominated information and dramatic type and were significant interactions in goods demonstration type, marketer-dominated information and dramatic type. There were significant interactions between consumer-dominated information and dramatic type. This ariables has the effect on Fashion Leadership by the interactions.
