Design of the Microwave Oscillator with the C type DGS Resonator

Since phase noise is one of the most important parameters in the design of microwave oscillators, several methods have been proposed to reduce the phase noise. These methods have focused on improving the quality factor of resonators, which result in low phase noise oscillators. Dielectric resonators have been widely used for low phase noise in microwave oscillators due to their high quality factor. However this cannot be used in MMIC oscillators because they have a 3D structure. In this paper, to overcome this problem a novel resonator using open ring type DGS is proposed for improvement of phase noise characteristics that is weak point of oscillator using planar type microstrip line resonator, and oscillator for 5.8GHz band is designed using proposed DGS resonator. The open ring type DGS resonator is composed of DGS cell etched on ground plane under
microstrip line. At the fundamental frequency of 5.8GHz, 6.1dBm output power and -82.7 dBc@100kHz phase noise have been measured for oscillator with ring type DGS resonator. The phase noise characteristics of oscillator is improved about 96.5dB compared to one using the general
Shadow Removal based on Chromaticity and Brightness Distortion for Effective Moving Object Tracking

Shadow is a common physical phenomenon in natural images and may cause problems in computer vision tasks. Therefore, shadow removal is an essential preprocessing process for effective moving object tracking in video image. In this paper, we proposed the method of shadow removal algorithm using chromaticity, brightness distortion and direction of shadow candidate. The proposed method consists of two steps. First, removal process of primary shadow candidate region by using chromaticity, brightness and distortion. The second stage applies the final shadow candidate region to obtain a direction feature of shadow which is estimated by the thinning algorithm after calculating the lowest pixel position of the moving object. To verify the proposed approach, some experiments are conducted to draw a compare between conventional method and that of proposed. Experimental results showed that proposed methodology is simple, but robust and well adaptive to be need to remove a shadow removal operation.
Low Pass Filter Design using the SRR-DGS Resonator

In this paper, the split-ring DGS resonator is proposed and its equivalent circuit are analyzed to design the low pass filter. Compared with the conventional dumbell DGS cell, this structure has a flat fluctuation in low frequency range and a sharp slop at edge frequency. The out-band suppression of the SRR-DGS cell can be improved by placing the open stubs on the conductor line which operates as parallel capacitances. Making use of equivalent circuit analytical method, the characteristics of the improved SRR DGS cell are investigated and applied to design compact low pass filter, which has a low in-band loss, sharp slop and high suppression of more than 35dB within a wide out-band frequency range. The dependence of the transmission characteristic on the dimension of a split ring, such as side-length and split-gap, is analyzed in detail. In addition, an improved SRR DGS cell model with open stubs loaded on the conductor line is then presented to improve the out-band suppression. By using the equivalent-circuit analytical method, an S-band microstrip low-pass filter with perfect low-pass characteristic and high out-band suppression is designed and fabricated.
Study on the Generation of Inaudible Binary Random Number Using Canonical Signed Digit Coding

Digital watermarking is imperceptible and statistically undetectable information embeds into digital data. Most information in digital audio watermarking schemes have used binary random sequences. The embedded binary random sequence distorts and modifies the original data while it plays a vital role in security. In this paper, a binary random sequence to improve imperceptibility in perceptual region of the human auditory system is proposed. The basic idea of this work is a modification of a binary random sequence according to the frequency analysis of adjacent binary digits that have different signs in the sequence. The canonical signed digit code (CSDC) is also applied to modify a general binary random sequence and the pair-matching function between original and its modified version. In our experiment, frequency characteristics of the proposed binary random sequence was evaluated and analyzed by Bark scale representation of frequency and frequency gains.
Vehicle Tracking System using HSV Color Space at nighttime

We suggest that HSV Color Space may be used to detect a vehicle detecting system at nighttime. It is essential that a licence plate should be extracted when a vehicle is under surveillance. To do so, a licence plate may be enlarged to certain size after the aimed vehicle is taken picture from a distance by using Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera. Either Mean-Shift or Optical Flow Algorithm is generally used for the purpose of a vehicle detection and trace, even though those algorithms have tendency to have difficulty in detection and trace a vehicle at night. By utilizing the fact that a headlight or taillight of a vehicle stands out when an input image is converted in to HSV Color Space, we are able to achieve improvement on those algorithms for the vehicle detection and trace. In this paper, we have shown that at night, the suggested method is efficient enough to detect a vehicle 93.9% from the front and 97.7% from the back.
A Study on Desired Signal Estimation in Correlation Signal of Array Antennas

In this paper, we studied for modified MUSIC algorithm of direction of arrival (DOA)estimation. Modified MUSIC algorithm search optimal covariance matrix using singular value decomposition and Bayes method, and desired signals are estimated by updating weight. In order to estimation of desired signals, we used sub spatial method of MUSIC algorithm. General MUSIC algorithm can estimate a desired signal in case of non-correlation signal. But, general MUSIC algorithm in case of correlation signal can not estimate a desired signals and resolution is decreased. Though simulation in case of correlation signal, we analyze to compare proposed MUSIC algorithm with general MUSIC algorithm.

From the complexity system theory, City is dynamic system which has evolved through evolution and adaptation in initial conditions and different situation. So people's active should involve in decision-making processes in the urban planning. And this suggests that responding to the demands of its citizens are important factors influencing the process of urban planning. The implications of this study are following: using big data helps people understand current social phenomena. Specifically, it figured out latent needs of citizens that traditional survey methods could not before. we can make the most of new opportunities given by digital data and prevent potential dangers in advance. They are complementary and do not replace one another.
The effects on the parent's self-esteem and parenting stress according to the Childhood Education Center Satisfaction

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the parent's self-esteem and parenting stress in accordance with the Childhood Education Center satisfaction. The survey was conducted and the subjects of study were selected for Childhood education center Parent 700 people in the city, Gyeongsangnam-do OOcity from September 20, 2014 to October 10.Analysis methodology using the program AMOS 18.0 was carried out and verified at the significance level of 5% by performing frequency analysis, factor analysis and the multiple regression analysis. Results are as follows. First, the satisfaction for the children education institute did not have a direct effect on parenting stress of the parent. Second, the satisfaction for the children education institute not directly affected the parent parenting stress but self-esteem can be seen that has a significant effect on parenting stress. The higher the satisfaction for the children education institute and self-esteem of the parents, the lower Parenting Stress. The implications of this study are considered to be a material based onself-esteem and improve parenting stress of their parents.
Deign of Small-Area Dual-Port eFuse OTP Memory IP for Power ICs

In this paper, dual-port eFuse OTP (one-time programmable) memory cells with smaller cell sizes are used, a single VREF (reference voltage) is used in the designed eFuse OTP IP (intellectual property), and a BL (bit-line) sensing circuit using a S/A (sense amplifier) based D F/F is proposed. With this proposed sensing technique, the read current can be reduced to 3.887mA from 6.399mA. In addition, the sensing resistances of a programmed eFuse cell in the program-verify-read and read mode are also reduced to

3D mechanical model based pulmonary nodule segmentation in CT images

In this paper, a 3D mechanical model based on pulmonary nodule segmentation method is proposed. The proposed method has three main parts. First, an initial 3D mechanical model is generated. The model is made up of many triangle elements resulting in forming whole shape of the model as sphere. Second, points of the model are deformed, and finally internal and external energies according to each deformation are calculated. The internal energy is determined by the model shape, and the external energy is determined by intensity. After the model is deformed, the process of searching the minimum energy generated by the deformation is executed repetitively. If the model energy converges, the nodule is segmented by using the proposed model. The proposed method greatly improves the result compared with conventional methods.
A New NTFS Anti-Forensic Technique for NTFS Index Entry

This work provides new forensic techinque to a hide message on a directory index in Windows NTFS file system. Behavior characteristics of B-tree, which is apoted to manage an index entry, is utilized for hiding message in slack space of an index record. For hidden message not to be exposured, we use a disguised file in order not to be left in a file name attribute of a MFT entry. To understand of key idea of the proposed technique, we describe B-tree indexing method and the proposed of this work. We show the proposed technique is practical for anti-forensic usage with a real message hiding case using a developed software tool.
