Facility Management Techniques Using AHP Model

The goal of this research is to develop the method of facility management which is used to manage the facility efficiently by using existing analyses of a system and a operation, and establish the method of a facility administration by applying AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model. Because the standard of a accuracy in spacial analysis and calculation is a unclear, the exact analysis of a geographic data for a decision-making needs statistical analysis and administrator-centered type of system didn't satisfy the desire of users. There must be the existing general statistics module, integrated internet GIS and the composition of interface in order to structure a spacial statistics analysis methods that satisfy the matters desired in internet GIS into the spacial analysis function. This paper presents the need of internet GIS and AHP Model in supporting and managing function of all facilities in campus and introduce the possibility of applying.
An Analysis of Accuracy for Road Horizontal Alignment by the Combined RTK GPS/GLONASS

Many of the traffic accidents on roads are a result of alignment defect of the roads. This alignment of the road needs to lie analyzed with accuracy for improving design of road, and it needs the design drawing of road, and coordinates of the main point. Accordingly, in this study the precision of location based on existing design drawing was compared with the data acquired by the combination of RTK GPS/GLONASS. The result of study is included within range 5cm, we would like to propose an effective and useful approach method to utilize the satellite for road alignment information system by evaluating the represented road alignment.
Utilizing Spatial Information for Landform Analysis and Web-Based Sight-Seeing Guidance of the Natural Park -A Case Study of Kumoh Mt Province Park-

For the purpose of data construction for the systematic management and sight-seeing guidance of the natural park, the Kumoh Mt. Province Park was selected as a pilot area. Digital topographic maps, thematic maps and satellite imagery covering the object area were processed and then landform analysis for elevation, slope, aspect and so on was conducted through DEM generation, and the landcover map and NDVI maP were extracted from Landsat TM data. The database was then constructed with these spatial data for GSIS. The image map was generated from IKONOS satellite data, which cover the pilot area data, with one meter resolution and also 3D visualization which was overlaid with main paths up a mountain were conducted. And the moving image files were produced along main paths up including main natural spectacular sights, cultural assets and management facilities. It is expected that the research result can be utilized as the fundamental data for re-assessing suitable land use and constructing Web-based guidance system.
Adjustment of texture image for construction of a 3D virtual city

Many users of 3D virtual city are Utilize a texture image for the cognition of real object. In this study, building's facet images were achieved by a digital camera and adjusted its distortion by use of the 2D projective transformation method. After then, Images are mapped to a 3D building model by means of the OpenGL. Application program is able to offer an automation solution to construction process of the 3D virtual city.
Analysis of Reliability for the GPS Surveying Data by Different Ephemeris

This paper establised GPS network consist of 75km average baseline lengths over Jeollanamdo and Jeollabukdo nine point station and fixed Gwangju point station. We quantitavely analyzed how much precision of the baseline determination is improved for GPS survey when using the precise eqhemeris instead of tile broadcast ephemeris of GPS satellites. The observed data for each baseline were processed two times with the same conditions alternately changing the broadcast and the precise ephemeris. The standard deviations from the repeated measurments for each baseline ara compared between the results of using the broadcast ephemeris and the precise ephemeris. As the results, the precision, stability and reliability of the baseline determination using the precise ephemeris is better than those of using the broadcast ephemeris for all baselines.
A Study on the Effect of Grid Size to Extract Topographical Parameters by DEM

Recently, GIS tend to be studied in water resoruces field. In hydrology analysis, GIS propose way that can develop subjective element of designer objectively. The development project is conducting disaster effect estimation to breed disaster, and cope these disaster beforehand provoking soil erosion and food recently. In this study, receive value of LS factor through DEM data at volume of soil erosion computation by disaster effect estimation and whether it are some relation effect of gradient and change of soil erosion by grid size did comparative analysis. As a result, according as grid size great, gradient became slow and could know that error value of gradient great according as storing scale of digital topographical map grows.
Extraction of Road Facility Information Using Graphic Solution

The intention of this study is to extract the spatial and attribute information of road facility for Geospatial Information System(GIS) using graphic solution. Terrestrial photogrammetry has a lot of possibility for the acquisition of road facility information, which has much convenience in locating camera station, selecting the direction, and taking multiple images of the object at the fixed position. This study intended to develop the technique using single frame images only for the raw image data, being able to apply in the case where comparative high accuracy is not required and rigorous photogrammetric method is not available or rapid acquisition of information is need. As the results, we can find the efficiency in plane feature mapping and determining the dimensions of the road facilities.
The Accuracy Analysis of RTK-GPS by Field Calibration in Plane Surveying

Real-time Kinematic GPS enables high accuracy Positioning by real time. If ambiguity use an integer solution, can obtain accuracy of several 'mm', and can obtain accuracy of tens 'em' if use real solution. In this study, We accomplish surveying by existent traditional surveying techniques (Total Station), Static GPS techniques and RTK-GPS techniques by Field Calibration about uniformity measuring point and then compared and ana1yzed each techniques positioning accuracy etc.. Result that achieve by Static-GPS in Plane area, about all measuring points, expressed error fewer than 3cm. Result that achieve RTK-GPS Surveying by Field Calibration in Plane area, could know that RTK-GPS techniques by Field Calibration is available in Plane area because expressing errors fewer than all 6cm, except case that do not get fixed solution of ambiguity Field Calibration RTK-GPS could know economically than existent conventional type measurement and existent GPS's measurement techniques that efficiency is very high.
The development of a GIS-based gas accident management system

Nowadays the gas utilities has been increasing constantly due to the expansion of the urban areas. The gas utility companies have adopted GIS technologies and been trying to computerize the management system for gas facilities to maintain up-to-dated information to forecast possible accidents and to minimize the casualties from the accidents. The major objective of this study is to develop a GIS-based gas accident management system which could facilitate early response and alternatives in the cases of the accidents. The system is able to provide the information for the pipes to be closed followed by selecting the location of the accident, and search all the relevant values connected to the location to provide all the information to minimize the casualties. In addition to that, the system can calculated the remaining amount of the gas in the pipes closed from the accident thereby providing more safer alternatives. In the future, more practical method needs to be made such as GPS-linked more integrated gas accident management system.
The Research for Practical Use of GPS/Leveling

This study aimed to estimate accuracy of GPS/Leveling and to present availability of GPS/Leveling in public surveying. For this purpose, we carried out GPS survey for bench marks and control points of Hongsung area. Orthometric heights calculated by two GPS/Leveling methods were compared to reference height. The one is calculated by base of geoid models such as EGM96, OSU91A, KGEOID99, and the other is calculated by network adjustment using fixed point. The results of GPS/Leveling by geoid models show that RMSE of EGM96 is
. The results of GPS/Leveling by network adjustment show that the best RMSE is
in case of using three fixed bench mark, and this method can be used for leveling effectively. GPS/Leveling would be able to apply in forth order public leveling and height determination of public control points.
