The Design and Fabrication of the Triple-Band Planar Monopole Antenna for Coupled U Patch Line and Rectangular Patch

In this paper, the planar monopole antenna for multi-band service is proposed. The proposed antenna, which is a rectangular patch antenna with a U-shaped slit based on a monopole antenna for wide bandwidth characteristic, is designed and analyzed. The antenna size has been miniaturized by using the U-shaped slit. The frequency characteristics are modified and optimized by varying specific parameters. for impedance matching. For the measured results, the impedance bandwidth below a VSWR of 2 is 790~916 MHz, 1.74~2.14 GHz, and 2.36~3.13 GHz. The fabricated antenna is satisfied with the aimed impedance bandwidth in GSM/DCS/US-PCS/UMTS/Bluetooth/S-DMB applications.

Reconfigurable beam steering using microstrippatch antenna with U-slot is proposed for wearable fabric applications. The proposed antenna is manufactured on a fabric substrate, and designed to steer the beam directions at the operation frequency of 6.0 GHz. The U-shaped slot and the indirect feeding-techniques are utilized in designing the proposed antenna. By the configuration of two artificial switches(

In this paper, to improve performance of spectrum sensing, we propose the method which can find optimal threshold based on power of PU(Primary User) signal. To find optimal threshold value, we will use mathematical method, and find threshold which can has lowest error probability. Each SU(Secondary User) use this threshold and All Su makes local decision. All Su Send local decision to FC(Fusion Center). In this paper we consider K-out-of-n rule to combining local decision. To make global decision value, FC find optimal n. In the FC. FC received local decision which has lowest error probability and using optimal n and these vaule. FC make global decision value. In this paper, to analysis performance proposed scheme, we simulate proposed scheme using matlab and compare with traditional OR Rule. As a result of simulation, we can know that preposed scheme can get a better performance than traditional OR rule.
Partial Retransmission Turbo HARQ Using the Sign Transitions of A Posteriori Values

Since error compensation schemes guaranteeing high reliability are required in wireless communication systems for the transmission of the large amount of data, as an efficient error compensation scheme the turbo HARQ scheme combining automatic repeat request and turbo coding has been studied in many places in the literature. In the case of conventional turbo HARQ schemes, the transmitter recognizing NAK signals repetitively sends the whole unit packet to the receiver although the received packet can be partially correctable. Through two successive processes, selection of uncorrectable error data and retransmission of only the relevant parts of the information data, transmission efficiency can be improved. In this paper, we present an error data selection criterion for retransmission using the sign transitions of A Posteriori values and propose a tubo HARQ scheme based on the partial retransmission technique. Through a computer simulation, we show and analyze the performance of the proposed scheme with transmission efficiency.
Development of Bandwidth Controlled Noise Jamming Technique for Phase Sampling DRFM

In modern warfare, jamming for neutralizing the enemy electronic equipments is as important as destroying them by common weapon systems. Noise jamming is a base technique of EA(Electronic Attack) and it is one of the effective jamming techniques. Noise jamming is effective regardless of enemy electronic equipment receiver types. For increasing jamming efficiency using the same output power, noise jamming bandwidth has to be similar to target receiver's bandwidth. Radar jamming source like DRFM(Digital Radio Frequency Memory) requires noise bandwidth changing immediately for time sharing multiple jamming. In this paper, we developed bandwidth changable noise jamming signal for phase sampling type DRFM and do simulation using Matlab for showing the jamming signal output.
A CMOS TX Leakage Canceller Using an Autotransformer for RFID Application

In this paper, a tunable integrated transmitter leakage canceller based on an autotransformer for ultra-high-frequency (UHF) RFID readers is presented. The proposed TX leakage canceller consists of an autotransformer, a digital tuning capacitor, a voltage controlled tuning resistor, and a compensating amplifier, and it is designed using 0.13
1-poly 6-metal RF CMOS process. The simulation results show that the proposed structure has over 55 dB rejection characteristic between a transmitter and a receiver and a 2.5 dB of the RX insertion loss. The TX leakage canceller can be digitally tuned from 825 MHz to 985 MHz with the tuning capacitor and it can be fully integrated.
Analysis of HEMP Coupling Signal for a Coaxial Cable with Braided Shields

The system which is exposed in the impact range of High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse(HEMP) may get serious damage because HEMP has a very large electric field value, a very fast rise-time, and so on. Electromagnetic analysis should be performed for signals coupled to the opening or cables of the system prior to derive the system design specifications in order to protect the system against HEMP adequately. In this paper, we analyzed the HEMP coupled signals for the coaxial cable which is generally used to transmit and receive video or RF signals and compared the coupled signal of the one wire with that of the inner conductor of a coaxial cable to confirm the decreased effect of HEMP by the shield. The coaxial cable is analyzed by the external and internal region of the shield separately. For the external region of the coaxial cable, general scattered equation was applied to calculate currents on the surface of the shield and for internal region of the coaxial cable, chain matrix algorithm is used. To verify this paper the analyzed results were compared the results of the existing paper and the two results have good agreements.
Throughput Analysis of Network Coding in IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN

Network coding has recently emerged as an effective solution for multicast and broadcast communications in wireless ad hoc networks. In this paper, we propose a throughput performance model for IEEE 802.11 wireless networks with network coding. Specifically, we consider IEEE 802.11 DCF protocol and linear topology in which traffic sources are located at both ends and intermediate nodes act as relays performing network coding. The proposed analytic model has the form of nonlinear equations in terms of throughput of each node. The solution of the nonliear equations thus correspond to the end-to-end throughput. Extensive simulation experiments have been performed to validate accuracy of the proposed model. Numerical results show that the results of the proposed analytic model agree fairly well with the corresponding simulation results.
Highly Efficient 13.56 MHz, 300 Watt Class E Power Transmitter

This paper presents a design of high-efficiency and high-power class E power transmitter. The transmitter is composed of 300 Watt class E power amplifier and AC-DC converter. The AC-DC converter converts 220 V and 60 Hz AC to a 290 V DC. The generated DC voltage is directly applied to a bias of the class E power amplifier. Because the converter does not have DC-DC converter unit, it has very high conversion efficiency of about 98.03 %. To minimize the loss at the output of the power amplifier, high-Q inductor was implemented and deployed to the output resonant circuit. As a result, the 13.56 MHz class E power amplifier has a high power-added efficiency of 84.2 % at the peak output power of 323.6 W. The overall efficiency of class E power transmitter, including the AC-DC converter, is as high as 82.87 %.

In this letter, in order to reduce the inter-channel interference at the transmitted side, we design the precoder based on Tomlinson-Harashima coding, which is well know for one kind of non-linear precoding schemes, for 3-user MIMO wireless systems. And its performance is also analyzed in comparison with that of the Dirty Paper Coding based precoder.
