Illuminance Distribution Analysis by Lighting Tower Position of o Soccer Stadium

Nowadays the soccer becomes one of the best spot lighting sports in the world Especially the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup was deeply impressed on all the korean. One goal of illuminating engineering should be the design of lighting system that can provide consistently high task visibility regardless of where a task might be located within a working space. The television broadcasting on the soccer has been an important role in the media. The standard of FIFA(The Federation Internationale do Football Association) requires recommended illuminance levels for artificial lighting for a player, an audience, TV broadcasting, as well as everybody in the stadium. This paper has proposed an algerian to select the suboptimal lighting tower position for watching and TV broadcasting a soccer game within a pleasant environment and an optimum illuminance distribution. The position using the software Philip's Calculux was chosen based an the calculations of a horizontal illuminance, vertical illuminance, uniformity, glare, and so on by changing lighting tower positions.
A Fluorescent Lamp Modeling for Inductor Ballast

The fluorescent lamp has been successfully modeled by employing the radial variation of particle density and considering driving circuit effects on the characteristics of discharge process. The electron energy distribution is assumed to have a Maxwellian. The electron mobility and the ambipolar diffusion coefficients are considered to vary with an electron energy rather than a simple uniform value. Energy states of mercury atom in the discharge process are regarded as six levels rather than simple 4 or 5 levels. These discharge processes have been accurately solved by numerically employing mixed the FDM and the 2nd Runge-Kutta method. This model was applied to analyzing real circuit. Simulation and experimental results were presented to verify the feasibility of the modeling. Simulation and experimental results were presented to verify the feasibility of the modeling.
Optical Implementation of Three-Dimensional Image using Modified Triangular Interferometer

We presented the optical reconstruction system of complex hologram and theoretically demonstrated that the proposed system could display complex hologram. And we made the complex hologram of a three-dimensional image using the modified triangular interferometer, and presented and analyzed the three-dimensional images numerically and optically reconstructed from it.
A Experimental Study the Showcase Lighting by Position of Light Source

This experimental study investigates the showcase display of cosmetic shops among the commercial space to suggest a desirable lighting by focusing on the lighting surroundings. The important outcomes of this study are summarized below. The result of the experiment for the showcase lighting； they need put the higher intensity lighting in inside for the local lighting and different effect. And for the emotional response, they need to put the horizontal lighting which is installed the behind of showcase and the vertical lighting for the front line lighting system.

An Experimental Study on the Application of Horizontal Daylight Duct System in Building Interior Space

The purpose of this paper was development of modified horizontal daylight duct for reflector of light intake, location of outlet diffuser and size as applicable daylighting system for buildings and, verified applicable possibility base on analysis of daylighting performance through full-scale model test. Experimental result showed that ratio of illumination for light duct was measured 0.3∼0.4％ in interior of a room on clear sky. Also, light duct had wide distribution of illumination than duct about 150[cm] and was decided efficient lighting energy saving because of high daylight performance in case of application actual building during daytime.
Crosstalk Analysis of Holographic Memory System using Fractal - Space Multiplexing

Fractal-space multiplexing using a moving window(MW) can multiplex holograms by moving a window left and right. and up and down. But, crosstalk occurs by two neighboring moving windows in the vertical direction of the holographic memory system and limits high-density information recording. Accordingly, we analyzed the crosstalk with the focal length of lens, the distance of MW, and the number of multiplexed hologram to record high-density infromation and presented the optical experimental results of fractal-space multiplexing using volumetric photorefractive crystal and disc type photopolymer.
Modeling and Analysis of Fine Particle Behavior in Ar Plasma

Recently, many researches for fine particles plasma have been focused on the fabrication of the new devices and materials in micro-electronic industry, although reduction or elimination of fine particles was interested in plasma processing until now on. In order to enhance their utilization, it is necessary to control and analyze fine particle behavior. Therefore, we developed simulation model of fine particles in RF Ar plasmas. This model consists of the calculation parts of plasma structure using a two-dimensional fluid model and of fine particle behavior. The motion of fine particles was derived from the charge amount on the fine particles and forces applied to them. In this paper, Ar plasma properties using two-dimensional fluid model without fine particles were calculated at power source voltage 15[V] and pressure 0.5[Torr]. Time-averaged spatial distributions of Ar plasma were shown. The process on the formation of Coulomb crystal of fine particles was investigated and it was explained by combination of ion drag and electrostatic forces. And also analysis on the forces of fine particles was presented.
Development of Data Aquisition System for Electrical Power Analysis of Electrical Load equipments

In order to analyze voltage, current electrical power, harmonic and so on of electrical load equipments, electrical power analysis by real measurement rather than mathematical modeling is necessary, and plan of countermeasure for efficient management, energy frugality and accident prevention of electrical equipments using it is possible Especially, electrical power analysis by real measurement is indispensable in order to consider countermove of harmonic occurred by nonlinear load So, in this paper, we developed DSP(Digital Signal Processor) based low price date aquisition system, and verified it's ability by performing measurement and analysis of electrical power and harmonic in the real power system.
A Study on AC Servo System for FA using High-performance DSP

AC servo system has been implemented to FA system and also depends on its quality. Recently with the development of power switching device and DSP which has peripheral devices to control AC servo system, the servo technology has met a new development opportunity. A DSP based AC servo system with a 3-phase PMSM is proposed. The newly produced DSP TMX320F2812-version C which has the performance of fast speed, 150MIPS, and rich peripheral interface is used. Also space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) and the digital PI control are implemented to the servo system
An Estimation of Contamination Degree using the Statistical Analysis between Contamination and Climatic Data

The accumulation of salt contamination could be the source of electrical accident. The degree of contamination on outdoor insulator is represented by ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density). The salt is transported by the wind to the outdoor insulator and cleaned by the rain. So, we can estimate the relation between climatic data and ESDD by using the multiple regression method. The results of pre-study presented the high relation coefficient(0.874). But these results couldn't apply to another period So, this paper improves above problem by mathematical process of climatic data The main method is accumulation of passed climatic data and conversion of the rainfall by the wind. Then, we confirmed the increasement of relation coefficient(0.898).
Development of 460[V]/225[A]/50[kA] Contact System in Current Limiting MCCB using an estimation and analysis method for the interrupting capability

Low voltage circuit breakers which interrupt rapidly and raise the reliability of power supply are widely used in power distribution systems. In the paper, it has been investigated how much interrupting capability is improved by correcting the shape of the contact system in molded case circuit breaker(below MCCB), especially contacts and arc runner. Prior to the interrupting testing, it is necessary for the optimum design tc analyze electromagnetic forces on the contact system generated by current and flux density. This paper presents both our computational analysis and test results on contact system in MCCB
Robust speed control of DC Motor using Neural network-PID hybrid controller

Robust control for feedback control system is needed according to the highest precision of industrial automation. However, when a neural network feedback control system has an effect of disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. As a compensation method solving this problem, in this paper, hybrid control method of neural network controller and PID controller is presented. A neural network controller is operated as a main controller, a PID controller is a assistant controller which operates only when some undesirable phenomena occur, e.q., when the error hit the boundary of constraint set. The robust control function of neural network-PID hybrid controller is demonstrated by speed control of Motor.
Optimal Position Selection of Microphones and Specters in Adoptive Noise Control System

In this paper, the optimal position selection of error microphones and control speakers to attenuate interior noise from outside noise sources using active noise control techniques is presented. To get an optimal control characteristics of adaptive noise control systems, it is necessary to optimize the positions of microphones and speakers. New type of simulated annealing method has been proposed as searching techniques to find optimal speakers and microphones positions in which the sum of the squared pressures at microphone positions in an enclosure can be best minimized. Computer simulations and experiments have been performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
A Study on Outage Restoration Guide Including Load Cutoff in Distribution System

This paper represents the fast and efficient load transfer guide for fault or outage restoration in distribution system. For restoration guide, system trace is performed to reverse direction(source side) from tie breaker in tree-structured distribution network. Search space and breaker's combinational number for restoration guide are greatly reduced. It is proposed the load transfer method including first stage restoration(single load transfer, double load transfer, triple load transfer), second stage restoration(transferring load to neighboring feeder in order to expand the capacity margin) and load cutoff guide. The proposed method can be easily applied to primary customer restoration, multi-fault recovery and distribution automation system.
A study on the circuit design for DC characteristic inspection of semiconductor devices

In this paper, we design the circuits for DC parameter test of semiconductor devices. The DC parameter tester is the system which inspects the DC parameters of semiconductor devices. In the designed circuits, voltage(current) forcing current(voltage) sensing methods are used to inspect the parameters. The designed circuits are simulated by OR-CAD. The simulation results have good performance.
A Novel Development of Distributed Intelligent Control Module Based on the LonWorks Fieldbus for Air Handling Units in the Healing, Ventilating and Air Conditioning

In this paper, a new distributed intelligent control module based on LonWoks fieldbus for air handling unit(AHU) of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning(HVAC) is proposed to replace with a conventional direct digital control(DDC) system with 32 bit microprocessor. The proposed control architecture has a excellent features such as highly compact and flexible function design, a low priced smart front-end and reliable performance with various functions. This also addresses issues in control network configuration, logical design of field devices by S/W tool, Internet networking and electronic element installation. Experimental results for showing the system performance are also included in this paper.
A Study on the Vibration Analysis of Linear Stepping Motor using FEM and ACSL

In this paper, the vibration characteristics of a linear stepping motor(LSM) are analyzed using the ACSL. A magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the LSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the LSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. A normal force is calculated using finite element method(FEM). And the vibration characteristics(continuous vibration) of the LSM are simulated by the ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation language) with the voltage equations, the thrust equation, the normal force equation and the kinetic equation.
Variable Quad Rate ADPCM for Efficient Speech Transmission and Real Time Implementation on DSP

In this paper, we proposed quad variable rates ADPCM coding method for efficient speech transmission and real time porcessing is implemented on TMS320C6711-DSP. The modified ADPCM with four variable coding rates, 16[kbps], 24[kbps], 32[kbps] and 40[kbps] are used for speech window samples for good quality speech transmission at a small data bits and real time encoding and decoding is implemented using DSP. ZCR is used to identify the influence of the noise on the speech signal and to decide the rate change threshold. For noise superior signals, low coding rates are applied to minimize data bit and for noise inferior signals, high coding rates are applied to enhance the speech quality. In most speech telecommunications, silent period takes more than half of the signals, speech quality close to 40[kbps] can be obtained at comparabley low data bits and this is shown by simulation and experiments. TMS320C6711-DSK board has 128K flash memory and performance of 1333MIPS and has meets the requirements for real time implementation of proposed coding algorithm
Distance Measurement of the Multi Moving Objects using Parallel Stereo Camera in the Video Monitoring System

In this paper, a new algorithm for the segmentation of the multi moving objects at the 3 dimension space and the method of measuring the distance from the camera to the moving object by using stereo video monitoring system is proposed. It get the input image of left and right from the stereo video monitoring system, and the area of the multi moving objects segmented by using adaptive threshold and PRA(pixel recursive algorithm). Each of the object segmented by window mask, then each coordinate value and stereo disparity of the multi moving objects obtained from the window masks. The distance of the multi moving objects can be calculated by this disparity, the feature of the stereo vision system and the trigonometric function. From the experimental results, the error rate of a distance measurement be existed within 7.28％, therefore, in case of implementation the proposed algorithm, the stereo security system, the automatic moving robot system and the stereo remote control system will be applied practical application.
Placement and Operation of Dispersed Generation Systems using Fuzzy Goal Programming

This paper presents the method for the placement and operation of dispersed generator systems(DGs) using fuzzy goal programming in distribution systems. For the placement and operation of DGs the problem is formulated with reduction of search spaces and flexibility of system situations. Especially, the original objective function and constraints are transformed by fuzzy goal programming to evaluate their imprecise nature for the criterion of power loss minimization, the number or total capacity of DGs and the bus voltage deviation, and then solve the problem using genetic algorithm.
Implementation of Active Noise Curtains for Long Distance Noise

In this paper, implementation of active noise curtains using multiple channel adaptive filters is presented. The same numbers of single channel LMS algorithms as control loudspeakers is used instead of a multi-channel LMS algorithm to reduce the computational burden of adaptive filter algorithms. In general, a multi-channel LMS algorithm is usually used in active noise control system. but this algorithm has much more computational complexity. The single channel control techniques have less amount of DSP calculation, compared to multiple channel control techniques. A stabilizing procedure for adaptive IIR filters is also proposed to improve the stability of recursive LMS algorithms. Both experimental results of two control techniques using TMS320VC33 digital signal processor show the similar noise reduction, but the single channel control techniques are more efficient in practical active noise curtain applications
