Study on Performance Improvement for Solenoid Valve Cleaner for Automatic Transmission

Solenoid valve cleaner is used for clean the solenoid valve in automatic transmission for a car when it is clogged with transmission oil sludge. Nevertheless when the solenoid is turned off, the residual current in the solenoid coil makes slow motion of the plunger in the solenoid which makes lower in cleansing performance and speed. In this paper, the method of performance Improvement for solenoid valve cleaner is proposed. The residual current in the solenoid coil is eliminated rapidly by the proposed method and it improves the cleansing performance and speed. The experimental results show the validity of the reposed method.
The Development of Flow-Meter System Using the Granule Flow Density And Velocity

In this paper, we describe a flow meter system for pulverized coal developed for the pulverizer-burner system of a boiler or blast furnace, which uses the density and the velocity of the granule flow. The granule flow density is measured by a sensor that detects the capacitance from the electrode on the surface of the piping system. The velocity of granule flow can be calculated using the distance between two pairs of built-in sensors in the flow direction, the time obtained from the sampling cycle using the correlation method between two waveforms of the sensors. The flow rate is calculated from the density and velocity of the granule flow. The reliability and accuracy of the flow meter system has been verified by comparing the data with the weight measured from a load-cell.

To analyze influences under faults caused by a stator winding short and to evaluate an effectiveness of a diagnostic algorithm a faulty model for an inverter-driven permanent magnet synchronous motor is presented. Even though the conventional dq motor model obtained through the transformation of phase voltage model is widely used to analyze and control the motor, it can not be used in the analysis of a faulty motor since the 3-phase balanced condition is no longer hold under the fault caused by a stator winding short, and thus, it is very difficult to obtain motor input voltages from the pole voltage of an inverter. To overcome this problem, a faulty model for an inverter-driven permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed by considering the line voltage of 3-phase variables. The effectiveness of the proposed faulty model is verified through comparative simulations and experiments using DSP TMS320F28335 and motor built to allow a partial short of inter-turn.
A Study on Panel Manufacture and Packaging Method for Digital FED

Field emission displays(FED) are currently being study as a potential flat technology. The purpose of this project shows the research result of vacuum packaging technology for the development of FED. For FED vacuum packaging, the bonding of glass/glass, the exhaust of vacuum and getter technology have been studied for vacuum packaging technology The simulation and vacuum sealing, and glass/glass bonding are also extensively studied. The glass/glass bonding is formed by using the frit glass and the Inside pressure of complete panel showed of
[Torr]. As a getter result, the increase of pressure has been showed the decrease of outgassing effect by using thin film getter.

In this paper an Investigation into the actual condition of electrical equipment installation for the inspection method development based on IEC 60364. The analysis objects are the difference between electrical equipments installation in korea & electrical equipments installation based on the IEC 60364. The measurement elements are loop impedance, operating characteristic of circuit breaker and protective conductor continuance. As a result, the korea electrical equipments installation was almost same the TT system but some different of protective conductor continuance. Electrical equipments installed TN-C-S has noting problem about installation but manager dose not understand about IEC 60364.
Lateral Displacement Analysis of Concrete Electric Pole Foundation Grounds

The effects of various forces acting on concrete pole are analyzed using finite element method how the forces affect on ground displacement. The soil types, wind load location of anchor block embedded depth of pole, and distance between poles are varied to find out effects on lateral displacement. Anchor block is effective when it is located at 1/4 of embedded depth The displacement is decreases as elastic modulus increases. Concrete reinforcement for loosened ground is necessary for double poles because double poles cause large excavation. When embedded depth ratio decrease, lateral displacement increase as closer to ground surface. Large embedded depth is effective to reduce lateral displacement, and the distance between poles is not much large factor.

The Kyoto Protocol finally entered into force in 2008. In this respect, it is imperative to explore different options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions for developing countries under the framework of the Kyoto Protocol. One of the main sources of
gas emission is fossil fueled power plants, thereby emission reduction could be achieved by substituting fossil fuel by non-fossil fuel sources on electric power generation sector. This paper presents the method for evaluating the effectiveness of emissions trading by fuel mix change. The cost of Fuel mix is formulated considering the economic effects of emission trading in electricity market. And the optimal fuel mix is proposed under the given emission constraints.
Flashover Characteristics of Vertical-type Model Power Line in the Presence of Combustion Flame

A forest fire in the area of power line installations may be caused by flashover disturbances in power systems. In this study, experiments were conducted so as to investigate the reduction in dielectric strength caused by combustion flame, and flashover characteristics in the simulated condition of vertical-type model power lines were examined by making shorter and longer the horizontal distance(s) between combustion flame and high-voltage conductors under the application of 60[Hz] a.c. and d.c. high-voltages. As the results of the experimental investigation it is demonstrated that flame can reduce flashover voltages of the model air-gap in shorter range of the horizontal distance(s). Relative air density is considered in order to analyze the reduction causes of the flashover voltages, and it can be seen that the relative air density has a great influence on the flashover characteristics under the presence of combustion flame.

The solar photovoltaic power generator can get more power with the higher solar radiation quantity. However, if the higher solar radiation quantity on cell becomes high temperature, the efficiency of generate will be reduced. To install cooling system for this kind of device can be the way to solve high temperature problem on cell but another problems after install it such as increasing of solar generated quantity problem cost to install cooling system and cost to be maintained cooling system weren't discussed to practical use this system. So the present paper described about effect and commercial business possibility of cooling system. After installing a cooling system the results of experiment about 5.76[%] average annual increasing of solar photovoltaic can expect.
Maximum Power Point Tracking Control for a Grid-Tie Photovoltaic Inverter

Solar energy is desirable due to its renewable and pollution-free properties. In order to utilize the present utility grid infrastructure for power transmission and distribution, a do-dc boost converter and grid connected dc-to-ac inverters are needed for solar power generation. The dc-dc boost converter allows the PV system to operate at high do-link voltage. The single-phase inverter provides the necessary voltage and frequency for interconnection to the grid. In this paper, first, current loop transfer function of a single-phase grid-tie inverter has been systematically derived Second the MPPT of conductance increment method at converter side is proposed to supply the maximum power to the inverter side. Simulation results are shown to access the performance of PV system and its behaviour at the interconnection point.

Recently, ozone has been utilized in various fields thanks to its effectiveness, and has been in ever-growing demand. Accordingly, various kinds of ozonizers have been examined among researchers. This paper is concerned with developing the cascade-type plate electrode ozonizer(PTO) for improvements of indoor air, water supply and drainage and investigating its characteristics. Four types of ozonizers have been devised according to their size, numbers and arrangement Electric discharge area of each type of ozonizer has the same size of 22,400[
], and its discharge power has the maximum 40[w]. As the result of having studied ozone generation ozone concentration and ozone yield characteristics of each ozonizer, we found that the type of ozonizer in which eight plates were arranged into cascade type(PTO-4) was the most excellent one.
A Study on the Development of 3[kW] Power Conversion System for Fuel Cell

This paper is the research on the development of power conversion system for the fuel cell. In composing the DC/DC converters which have high boost voltage ratio, unlike the conventional method a new multi DC/DC converter system is proposed that the diode and the condenser and the reactor can be reduced by connecting the secondary side output of the transformer. In this system the rectifier part and the filter part of the secondary side in the power transformer that is connecting in series are composed into a single module, which is the strong advantage and the number of level can be easily increased. A new variable shift phase switching method is also suggested that it makes possible to reduce the output voltage ripples in the proposed system. All the factors mentioned above have been verified through simulations and experiments, and the proposed converter is considered very useful in the demanded load which requires a wide of the output.

Cascade 3-Phase IHCML Inverter using Maximal Distension Vector Control

In this paper, a new method, cascade 3 phase IHCML(Isolated H-bridge Cascade Multi-Level) inverter and a control method is proposed by using two 3-phase transformers that have respectively different transformation rates. Vector control technique in which the highest proximity vector has been used is also put into use. With this process, the switching frequency is almost identical with the output fundamental frequency, which makes less switching loss, and the switching frequency of the small volume of the H-bridge that is in charge of small power is highly controlled, which improves the quality of the output voltage.
Calculation of Magnetic Fields under 3 Phase Power Lines with Branch Lines

In this study magnetic fields near electric power lines with branch lines which have a arbitrary angle were derived and formulated by dipole antenna theory and could be calculated easily using the formula. It seems that those formula could be applicable to the consideration of magnetic fields during the design of distribution lines with branch lines. As an example those formulated equations on elements of magnetic fields were applied to a model of 3 phase distribution lines with branch lines and calculated by Matlab programs and the results were presented The analyzed results are follows. The resultant magnetic field is dominated by the componant By all over y-axis in the case of the smaller branched angle

Optimal Operation by integrating Sihwa Power into NamSihwa Systems

This paper presents an optimal operating scheme by integrating Sihwa tidal power into NamSihwa systems. For optimal operation of NamSihwa systems, the sea levels of 1 minute interval using cubic interpolation based on the forecasted levels of high and low water are calculated. Especially, it is compared by three schemes to purchase total power from transmission system to purchase total power from tidal power system in time period that can generate tidal power and to purchase total power by comparing purchase costs from transmission system and tidal power system. The scheme may contribute to energy save in Korea that natural resources are lacking.
