A Study on the Planning of Civil Defense Shelter and Design 1 - On the ideas of the State of Civil Defense Shelter & Design Criteria -

North Korea has been preparing for WMD(Weapons Mass Destruction) using asymmetric force since it recognized the economic effects of CBR (Chemical, Biological, Radiological) weapons system operation and the limitations of conventional weapons. However, the threat only to conventional bombs, missiles and etc. is considered on the current Civil Defense Shelter, which could increase civil damages, not responding appropriately to disasters such as CBR weapons, terror attacks and etc. Therefore, this study confirms the current situation of Civil Defense Shelter and design criteria focused on CBR disasters so that we could make a plan and design of Civil Defense Shelter. In addition, we suggest the research result and improvements on Civil Defense Shelter and Design.
Effect of Disaster and Safety Education on Disaster Risk Assessment

As the disaster becomes bigger and more complicated and causes massive damage in the society, it becomes important to educate and exercise the people for the disaster response and safety. In this study, the effect of the disaster and safety education on the disaster risk assessment was evaluated. Disaster risk was calculated by the likelihood and consequences. The expert survey was used to evaluate the effect of the education on the likelihood and consequences. The inquiries were divided by the education target which makes different results of the survey. As a result, the disaster risk was reduced upto almost 48% when all people including the government workers and students were educated regularly. The result needs to be verified by the field data analysis. However, it provides the reason why the disaster and safety education is important.
A study on Introducing Intelligent Electronic Monitoring System through the Analysis of the Electronic Supervision

Since the sexual violence crime has a high probability of repeated crime, the electronic monitoring system has been introduced as a measure to it. And this system allows the police to know the location of former criminal around the clock through the electronic device, the former criminal has the psychological/mental oppression which can restrain the intention of crime to a degree. However, there is a limit in blocking criminals with strong will from repeated crime. The next-generation intelligent electronic anklet currently under study collects and analyzes the change bio-data in real time through the location information of electronic monitoring target and attached sensor. This study is aimed to predict the symptom of crime occurrence in advance based on this and block the crime intention in advance or stop the ongoing crime before it is expanded.

In this paper, usability and use force on the structure and does not have a big impact on the development of existing materials developed using materials to their full impact/blast resistant Complex configuration on the panel that can be implemented. Each material of the characteristics so that they can exert in layers of layer formed panels in layers. Structure of the general structure is to keep strength and endurance, maintenance and minimize the damage can be utilized for knee brace to do basic research, for creating the panel.
A Study on the Legislation Directions of FRAMEWORK ACT ON KOREA COAST GUARD(tentative name)

In 19th May 2014, the government announced that KCG(Korea Coast Guard) is dissolved regarding responsibility for recently accident which is Sewol ferry disaster. But KCG, a central administrative agency is responsible for protecting maritime sovereignty of South Korea; the most basic and indispensable organization. Furthermore, The purpose of KCG is to provide the safety of the public and keeping of public order by prescribing matters necessary for the securement of maritime security, maintenance of public order and protection of marine resources & facilities. Therefore, In this article, I would like to suggest tentatively named FRAMEWORK ACT ON KOREA COAST GUARD`s management plan which could reflect the scope of functions. It means we examine the current state of KCG, and would like to signpost for the most ideal way of legal system in Korea Coast Guard. Finally, this treatise is expected that this research can be a guideline contribute to improving Korea Coast Guard relevant laws even a little.
The Effect of Security Majoring Student` Loyalty on Department to Future Direction and Job Choice

This study is to clarify the effect of security majoring students` loyalty on department to future direction and job choice to suggest basic data for supporting student to prepare more active school life and future. The research object is security majoring male/female students among Y university in Gyeonggi-do Y city, K university in Gyeongsangbuk-do G city, k university in Gyeonggi-do S city between 1 Fab 2012 to 20 Aug 2012 and we randomly extracted the sample. In this research, we performed exploratory factor analysis and used principal components analysis and selected varimax direct rotation method to prove the reasonability of the contents. We then use the Cronbach`s
value to measure the trust coefficient and during the process, the repeated or questions lack of correlation were deleted with judgment of researcher to improve trusty and reasonability.
Comprehensive Analysis of Exposed Adverse Factors in Disaster Response Activities - Focused on Fire -

Firefighters performing disaster response activities such as Fire Suppression Rescue First Aid in fire are being exposed in various adverse factors, heat, smoke, toxic gases, emotional stress, biological toxic factors and physical overload by unnatural ergonomic posture required for firefighters. But so far, there is the study for this problem only separately. There is no study about comprehesive analysis of exposed adverse factors in fire-related disaster response activities and countermeasures. The purpose of this study is to contiribute to solving the health problems and prevention of accidents of firefighters by extracting hazardous agents in disaster such as fire and by proposing countermeasures. After analyzing circumstances such as fire-suppression, rescue first aid and life-environment, exposure factors of fire are derived and exposure status is suggested according to physical chemical biological psychological aspects. The countermeasure against the noise of the physical exposure factors are proposed. The countermeasures such as protective equipment and clean room in chemical factors, infection prevention education, vaccination and periodic check system in biological factors, PTSD alleviation booth and mentoring in psychological factors are proposed.
Characteristics Evaluation of Lathe Scrap for Manufacturing Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites

The purpose of this research is to investigate characteristics of lathe scrap for manufacturing fiber reinforced cementitious composites(FRCCs) to use lathe scrap as a alternative materials of steel fiber. It should be noted that the use of the lathe scrap for making FRCCs raised friendly environmental effect as well as economy because the lathe scrap was a by-product of steel manufactures. For this purpose, various steel scraps were collected from processing plants of metal and then their physical properties were evaluated. Also, steel scraps were classified and analyzed according to the KS D 2101 and then of these scraps, lathe scrap as a alternative materials of steel fiber was suggested. In addition, FRCCs containing lathe scraps were made according to their total volume fractions of 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0% for water-binder ratios of 30%, 40%, respectively, and then characteristics, such as the workability, compressive strength, and flexural strength of those were evaluated. It was observed from the test result that the compressive strengths at 7 and 28 days of FRCCs containing lathe scrap were slightly small but the flexural strengths at 28 days of those increased by 10% compared with plain concrete.

Over 20,000 defense shelters are currently designated and operated in Korea. However, only few sheltershave the capacity to defend against CBR attack or terror from North Korea. Furthermore, as public defense shelters are only equipped with air-raid shelters, it is urgent to establish standard for CBR attack.This study focuses on shelter-in-place(SIP), a kind of CBR shelter in the U.S., and aims to draw up construction plan and planning of Korean defenses helter.

The event of a Chemical disaster response personnel are causative events quickly Appearance & residual contaminant concentrations, should be identified accurately. In addition, the chemical disaster response procedure appropriate progress in the field of Chemical Composition and contaminant concentrations in order confirmation is essential. Use in the field to using the characteristics of each equipment. on-Site response equipment can not verify all the chemicals, materials detection, limited by each equipment. Detection range of equipment & specific materials should be considered complementary. In this study, using the equipment on-site detection of detection kit and detector tube, electronic detection equipment utilized for the rapid response procedure for helping a person to cope.
Evaluation of Seismic Performance of 2-Story Fire Protection Sprinkler Piping System

Fire protection (sprinkler) piping system is an essential element for the energy supply and for the protection against the seismic-induced fire during and after an earthquake. The primary objective of this study was to understand the seismic performance of complex two-story piping system installed in a low-rise building subjected to bi-directional and three-directional earthquakes. The result of current study revealed that the displacement of the piping system in accordance with floor level was significantly different due to acceleration-sensitivity but the effect of the piping system due to the vertical direction earthquake was not significant.
Trend Analysis of Age Structure Ratio Change in Disaster Response Organization and Presenting the Criteria of Age Limit of Fire-fighting Field Activities -Focused on Firefighters in Seoul Metropolitan City-

In addition to aging social problem, the problem of older age structure ratio in the fire service organization playing the leading role of the disaster response activities is also expected to be this serious situation. In the case of Seoul fire fighting organization, it is expected that the ratio of over the age 50 reaches 31% or 40% between from 10 to 15 years later from now on, but this will be a serious problem in the fire fighting personnel needing a healthy body and physical strength in the disaster situation unlike the civil servants of general staff. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to take measures that can adapt to a new disaster environment of Increasing proportion of the elderly population by presenting the criteria of age limit of fire fighting field activities to analyze the relevance of the ability to perform on-site activities and age of Seoul fire civil servants, by using three analysis criteria.
