An Evaluation of Skid Resistance Properties of Asphalt Concrete Pavement
Kim, Nak-Seok ; Jeong, Hae-Soo ;
Journal of The Korean Society of Disaster Information, volume 7, issue 2, 2011, Pages 87~95
The skid resistant of pavement surface is an important parameter since it is directly related to the traffic safety under moving vehicular loads. In particular, it should be considered as a major factor in pavement performance evaluations to reduce the traffic accident from vehicular sliding. In this study, a portable and an automatic skid resistance tests were used to evaluate the skid resistances of the in-situ pavements. The test results showed that the skid resistance of the conventional dense graded pavement was more noticeable than the other pavement types such as the drainage pavement and the stone mastic asphalt(SMA) pavement as the service life of pavement was increased.

Lee, Seung-Cheol ;
Journal of The Korean Society of Disaster Information, volume 7, issue 2, 2011, Pages 123~129

As many countries such as those of European and Japan supervise civil investigation business and the police agent supervises guarding businesses, so the police also has to supervise civil investigation business. In many cases, civil investigation businesses deal with private information, and the police has to prevent from infringing customers' basic right by clarifying private information management for punishment. In addition the police has to tighten up customers' obligations. For example the police has to deliver papers about the contents when they enter into or change contract, or after they enter into contract.

Journal of The Korean Society of Disaster Information, volume 7, issue 2, 2011, Pages 140~150
Life Environment is rapidly changing and large scale disasters are increasing from the global warming. Although the disaster repair resources are deployed to the disaster fields, the prevention of the disasters is the most effective countermeasures. the disaster sign data is based on the rule of Heinrich. Automatic extraction of the disaster sign data 한om the web is the focused issues in this paper. We defined the automatic extraction processes and applied information, such as accident nouns, disaster filtering nouns, disaster sign nouns and rules. Using the processes, we implemented the disaster sign data management system. In the future, the applied information must be continuously updated, because the information is only the extracted and analytic result from the some disaster data.

This research puts the purpose in elucidating the effect of participation types of leisure activity and leisure restraints on life quality. To achieve research purpose, questionnaire survey was conducted on 200 subjects who are engaged in private guard companies with ages over 20. Using the collected data, frequency analysis was conducted in order to identify demographic characteristics with SPSS/WIN 17.0V program. In addition, multiple regression analysis was conducted for solving research questions. As a result, sports related participation type had a positive effect on time constraint factor. Meanwhile, hobby related participation type had a positive effect on time and cost constraint, participation type of watching has a positive effect on individual and social constraint. Tour and play related participation type had a positive effect on individual constraint factor. Meanwhile participation type of sociality had a positive effect on individual constraint and hobby factor, but had a negative effect on familial and social constraint. Sports related participation type had a positive effect on social relationship factor. Participation type of watching and play related participation type had a negative effect on family relationship. Finally, time constraint factor had a positive effect on family relationship, and cost constraint factor had a positive effect on entire quality of life. Individual and family constraint factors had a negative effect on leisure relationship factor. Also, social constraint factor had a positive effect on family relationship, but had a negative effect on leisure relationship.
