Twitter has the fast propagation and diffusion of information compare to other SNS. Therefore, many researches about detecting real-time event using twitter are progressing. Twitter real-time event detecting system assumes every twitter user as a sensor and analyzes their written tweet in order to detect the event. Researches that are related to this twitter have already obtained good results but confronted the limits because of some problems. Especially, many existing researches are using the method that can trace an event location by using GPS coordinate. However, it can be suggested a definite limitation through the present user's skeptical responses about making personal location information public. Therefore, this paper suggests the method that traces the location information in tweet contents text without using the provided location information from twitter. Associated words were grouped by using the keyword that extracted in tweet contents text. The place that the events have occurred and whether the events have surely occurred are detected by this experiment using this algorithm. Furthermore, this experiment demonstrated the necessity of the suggested methods by showing faster detection compare to the other existing media.

The popularity of smart devices and Location Based Services (LBSes) is increasing in part due to users demand for personalized information associated with their location. These services provide intuitive and realistic information by adopting Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This technology utilizes various sensors embedded in the mobile devices. However, these services have inherent problems due to the devices small screen size and the complexity of the real world environment; overlapping content on a small screen and placing icons without considering the user's possible movement. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a Mobile Augmented Reality Model with the application of Street Data. The model consists of two layers: "Real Space" and "Information Space". In the model, a user creates a query by scanning the nearby street with a camera in real space and searches accessible content along the street through the use of the information space. Furthermore, the results are placed on both sides of the street to solve the issue of Overlapping. Also, the proposed model is implemented for region "Aenigol", and the efficiency and usefulness of the model are verified.

DOI : 10.12672/ksis.2015.23.5.021
Korean government has promoted the projects of National Geographic Information Systems since 1995 and the utilization level of Korean National Spatial Data Infrastructure based on them has also developed. However, due to the limit to domestic market size and the legal regulation on prohibition of large sized companies' expansion into domestic spatial information markets, Korean spatial information markets are tied up in term of industrial competitiveness. To overcome those problems and evade the domestic red oceans, it is necessary to find new one in overseas' blue ocean markets. It is estimated that overseas spatial information market will be grown to 125 billion-dollar size and the annual growth rate of it will be reached to 10.5% until 2015. Thus, Asian spatial information market has a huge growth potential and it is newly rising blue oceans for Korea. Advanced countries such as Finland, Germany, Sweden, and Japan have already expanded their market size into the newly industrializing countries. To step with advanced countries, it is time to set up the new globalization strategy of Korean spatial information for expansion into newly industrializing markets. The purpose of this study is to analyze the SWOT of domestic spatial information, investigate the status on spatial information of Asian developing countries, and suggest the globalization strategy of Korean spatial information for expansion into them. The globalization strategy can be labelled as K-FBI composed of 4 domains such as Knowledge sharing platform, Frontier, Back to the basic, and Internalization. In near future, the establishment and performance of road map based on the strategy will be the milestone for Korean spatial information companies' advance into Asian developing countries.
A Data Transformation Method for Visualizing the Statistical Information based on the Grid
Kim, Munsu ; Lee, Jiyeong ;
Journal of Korea Spatial Information Society, volume 23, issue 5, 2015, Pages 31~40
DOI : 10.12672/ksis.2015.23.5.031
The purpose of this paper is to propose a data transformation method for visualizing the statistical information based on the grid system which has regular shape and size. Grid is better solution than administrator boundary or census block to check the distribution of the statistical information and be able to use as a spatial unit on the map flexibly. On the other hand, we need the additional process to convert the various statistical information to grid if we use the current method which is areal interpolation. Therefore, this paper proposes the 3 steps to convert the various statistical information to grid. 1)Geocoding the statistical information, 2)Converting the spatial information through the defining the spatial relationship, 3)Attribute transformation considering the data scale measurement. This method applies to the population density of Seoul to convert to the grid. Especially, spatial autocorrelation is performed to check the consistency of grid display if the reference data is different for same statistic information. As a result, both distribution of grid are similar to each other when the population density data which is represented by census block and building is converted to grid. Through the result of implementation, it is demonstrated to be able to perform the consistent data conversion based on the proposed method.

MOLIT (Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) authorized Indoor Spatial Information as Basic spatial information in 2013. It became a legal evidence for constructing and managing Indoor Spatial Information. Although it has a little advantage to utilize as service level that Indoor Spatial Information by laser scan or measurement, it has a lot of problems such as consuming many resources, requiring additional progresses for inputting Object Information. In conclusion, it is inefficient to utilize for the maintenance and domestic AEC/FM field. The purposes of this study is to output Indoor Spatial Information by operating IFC model which based on open BIM and to improve availability of Indoor Spatial Information with data visualization. The open-sources of IFC Exporter, a inner program of Revit (Autodesk Inc), is used to output Indoor Spatial Information. Directs 3D Library is also operated to visualize Indoor Spatial Information. It is possible to inter-operate between XML format and the objects of Indoor Spatial Information. It can be utilized in various field as well. For example COBie linkage in facility management, construction of geo-database using air-photogrammetry of UAV (Unmaned Areal Vehicle), the simulation of large-scale military operations and the simulation of large-scale evacuation. The method that is purposed in this study has outstanding advantages such as conformance with national spatial information policy, high level of interoperability as indoor spatial information objects based on IFC, convenience of editing information, light level of data and simplifying progress of producing information.

Several countries have built National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) for information sharing among various fields. One of the important factors of NSDI is framework data, which is the most commonly used geospatial data across various fields. Previous studies on the framework data suggest components based on frequency survey and case study. However, such research methods do not have objectivity in setting the components of the framework data. This research uses factor analysis with 104 medium-level layers from the most widely used National Base Map and 5 layers from the other sources including cadastre and aerial image. Each layer is scaled with usage level as four different patterns of 1) background data, 2) reference data, 3) base data, and 4) other data, respectively. The analysis results show that the layers are grouped into 5 to 7 factors according to the patterns. ANOVA reveals that the mean differences between the factors with high values and the other factors with low values under each pattern are statistically significant. Such high value factors under each pattern consist of similar layers, close to identical, with those under the other categories. This research proposes framework data system, including transportation, building, hydrography, elevation, administrative district, digital orthoimagery, geodetic control, and cadastral based on the analysis results. Proposed framework in this research will be a basis of establishing spatial data sharing system. For sharing proposed framework data in various fields, these data must be established and distributed as actual standard and also related future researches should be performed.

Newtown Business of Seoul had been performed to reduce deterioration of Gangbuk and economic inequality between Gangnam and Gangbuk. According to this, Eunpyeong-gu was set as test-bed for Newtown business and Newtown business had been completed until 2013. This study aims to analyze the influence of social and economical factors which affect land price using GWR (Geographically Weighted Regression) considered spatial effect. As a result of analysis, GWR model demonstrated a better goodness-of-fit than OLS (Ordinary least square) model typically used in most study. Furthermore, AIC value and Moran's I of residual prove that GWR model is more suitable than OLS model. GWR model enable to explain more detailed than global regression model as coefficient and sign show different value locally. In future, this research will be helpful to develop Eunpyeong-gu considering spatial characters and strength effectiveness of development.

Recently deformed or destroyed of soundproof wall by local winds and typhoon has increased. This research proposed the estimation method of the design wind load of soundproof wall using spatial information analysis based on 1:5,000 digital map and performed comparative analysis with actual application cases. According to the result of quantitative evaluation using GIS, the surface roughness in the downtown area packed with buildings was III and the surface roughness in the suburban district with a relatively small number of buildings was II and the surface roughness in the district packed with open areas and typical farmhouses was I. This shows that the wind load of the soundproof walls reflecting the actual surface conditions was estimated. If the quantitative GIS analysis presented in this study is applied to wind-resistant design of soundproof walls, it is supposed that this will be helpful in more rational wind-resistant design by remedying the existing problem in which the wind load varies depending on designer's subjectivity.
