Vocal Separation in Music Using SVM and Selective Frequency Subtraction

Recently, According to increasing interest to original sound Karaoke instrument, MIDI type karaoke manufacturer attempt to make more cheap method instead of original recoding method. The specific method is to make the original sound accompaniment to remove only the voice of the singer in the singer music album. In this paper, a system to separate vocal components from music accompaniment for stereo recordings were proposed. Proposed system consists of two stages. The first stage is a vocal detection. This stage classifies an input into vocal and non vocal portions by using SVM with MFCC. In the second stage, selective frequency subtractions were performed at each frequency bin in vocal portions. Listening test with removed vocal music from proposed system show relatively high satisfactory level.
Dual T type antenna study for LTE communication

In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of dual T type antenna to be used in LTE communication systems operating at around 1.8 GHz band. In order to improve of frequency properties of antenna, single feed microstrip patch antenna and CPWG antenna was simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). The fabricated dual T type antennat showed that the measured center frequency, the minimum return loss and -10dB bandwidth were 1.79 GHz, -23.26 dB and 23 MHz, respectively.
A Design of Wideband, High Efficiency Power Amplifier using LDMOS

Existing LDMOS power amplifier that used class-AB and doherty system shows 55% of efficiency in 60MHz narrow band. Because RRH has been applied to power amplifier at base station. It is required that over 100MHz expanded band and more than 60% high efficiency power amplifier. In this paper we designed class-J power amplifier using LDMOS FET which has over 60% high efficiency characteristic in 200MHz. The output matching circuit of designed class-J power amplifier has been optimized to contain pure reactance at second harmonic load and has low quality factor Q. As a measurement result of the amplifier, when we input continuous wave signal, we checked 62~70% of power added efficiency(PAE) in 2.06~2.2GHz including WCDMA frequency as a 10W class-J power amplifier.
Real-time Smoke Detection Based on Colour Information, Morphological and Dynamic Features of the Smoke

In this paper, we propose a system which can detect the smoke in real time from the high-quality IP camera. For real-time processing, open directly the RTSP streams transmitted from the IP camera using the library FFmpeg as opening a video file. To recognize smoke, color information and morphological characteristics of smoke, as well as the dynamic characteristics of the smoke also considered for candidate regions. To combine the characteristics of the various smoke effectively, the Adaboost algorithm, was used as the boosting algorithm finally. Through the experiments with input videos from IP camera, the proposed algorithms were useful to detect smokes.
Design of Electromagnetic Band Gap Structure for Global Navigation Satellite Service

In this paper, a mushroom typed electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structure to be inserted in the printed circuit board (PCB) inner layer in order to stabilize the PCB power line is proposed for global-navigation satellite service (GNSS). In designing the proposed EBG structure, the target stop-bandwidth was designed from 1.55GHz to 1.81GHz including GNSS and mobile communication-related frequency bandwidth. In this bandwidth, the insertion loss(S21) was observed below about -40dB. From the simulation results, it is expected that the stabilization of power delivery network (PDN) structure in the PCB circuit design should be improved and the effective correspondence to EMI will be helpful.
An Analysis on the Korean Language for Optimum Transmission of Hangul Code

The goal of this paper is to propose the Hangul Jamo to make a optimum transmission code of Hangul consonant and vowel(Jamo). The Hangul Jamo was analyzed by three kinds of Hangul Jamo. First one is the basic Hangul Jamo which is consisted by 24ea Jamo. Second one is a two combination keyboard which has 28ea Jamo. Third one is 54 Jamo set which is added the double Jamo to the second one. Use frequency of Hangul-Jamo is analyzed based on the Hangul in "Modern Korean Use Frequency Rate Survey Result" issued by The National Institute of the Korean Language". Total 58,437 Korean words are contained in the report and the words are composed with Hangul 1,540ea. The results of this study are as follows, In the Jamo are that in the first Jamo set case, the highest use frequency consonant is "ㅇ" and the lowest one is "ㅋ", and in the vowel case, the highest use frequency one is "ㅏ" and the lowest one is "ㅑ". In the second case, the highest use frequency consonant is same as first case and the highest vowel is "ㅏ" and the lowest one is "ㅒ". In the third case, the highest consonant is "ㅏ" and the lowest one is "ㅞ". the highest vowel is "ㄱ" and the lowest one is "ㄽ".
A Study on the Hangul Syllables of Unicode System considering Data Transmission Efficiency

The paper studied possibility of improvement of efficient of data processing in the line coder when Hangul syllables in Unicode system is used for the source code. The scrambling in the line coder is to solve the problem happened due to the source code. The study is based on the HDB-3 scrambling method in ITU-T standards that is applied to AMI line coder. The referred data of Hangul syllables and its use frequency which are required to analysis was used the data extracted from the source data of the National Korean Language Institute. According to the analysis, the average 24% scrambling was generated in source code of Hangul syllables in Unicode system. When the referred Hangul syllables was applied to Unicode system, the average 27% scrambling was producted. Total 8,924ea Hangul syllables in 11,172ea Hangul syllables in Unicode system were not scrambled. Therefore the referred Hangul syllables 1,540ea were accepted in the unscrambled code areas. As a result, the existing Unicode Hangul syllable codes can't prevent the scrambling, but it is possible to completely remove the 27% scrambling with new source coding system. And then, it can be improved the data processing efficient upto minimum 27% in line coder by software in presentation layer instead of physical layer.
A Study on Development of the Meteorological Data Preprocessing Program for Air Pollution Modeling

Recently, rapid urbanization and industrialization had increased the air pollution in major cities by increasing the fuel consumption. Air pollution models have been widely used for air quality management in many countries. Also, a lot of related studies have been conducted using air dispersion models. In this study, The meteorological preprocessing program was developed to convert the korea meteorological data to the U.S. meteorological data and to expand the usability of air dispersion models of U.S. EPA. In addition, the usability evaluation was carried out through a case study. In the results of the evaluation of the program, this program was accurately convert the Korea meteorological data to the U.S. meteorological data, and the prediction was carried out without a error in air quality modeling. Therefore, the program showed a high utilization as meteorological data pre-processing tool.
A Study on a Wind Turbine Data Logger System based on WiFi for Meteorological Resource Measurement

Wind turbine market is showed height growth rate of about 30% for year, and is increasingly growing. Total rate of domestic wind turbine installation is showing share of 0.2% of the global market that is 380MW. However, wind turbine installed in domestic are foreign product more than 90%. Similarly, Datalogger of pretest system for ocean wind turbine plant installation has been leaked huge cost to abroad by mostly abroad company product. In this paper, we proposed pretest weather resource measurement system for efficiency and investment cost cutting of wind turbine construction work. Preset weather resource measurement system is ocean weather resource measurement datalogger based on wireless communication(wifi) that have consist of hardware and software(wind rose) that is able to monitoring as datalogger of wireless bridge and battery state, wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity, radiation around weather tower and is able to analysis of measured data.
A Study on the Hangul Character Code System for KS X 1001 Information Interchange considering AMI/HDB-3 Line Encoding and HDLC Flag

AMI / HDB-3 method used a scrambling technique is used primarily for long distance data transmission line encoding. In this paper, information communication code standard (KS X 1001; 2014 confirmation), as defined in Hangul Character Code HDLC Flag bit or character stuffing at the data link layer and physical layer with respect to the code set for Hangul AMI / HDB-3 the code set for the new system to increase the data transmission efficiency Hangul consonant and vowel tables presented in terms of scrambling. The result of the existing system and the code set (
) bit source coding rules for comparing the frequency of use Hangul consonant and vowel tables and statistics showed that about 22.01% of the data processing efficiency is improved.

The valve device is installed in hazardous areas, such as a chemical plant explosion has been sealed with fire protection device to prevent the risk of explosion. In this paper, due to the explosion-proof devices using external power the device can not be used in infrared sensors and Zigbee sensor valve device by measuring the open degree of valve opening and closing of the danger zone to check whether. Valve opening and closing operation log screen time, we propose a low-power operation monitoring system administrators to manage and control the plant. Develop power control relay board apply an improved algorithm to apply the asynchronous LPL power management. The plant monitoring system and explosion-proof valve opening and closing the valve system with the intelligent device designed and implemented and tested it.

The purpose of this study is to find ways to build a desirable risk governance to respond to these uncertainties like such as increased risk due to the rapid development of modern science and technology in S. Korea. This study is about model of risk communication with scientific technology for additional construction of nuclear power plants. This study analyzed risk communication with scientific technology through new explanatory models between approval opinions of scientific professional group and opposition opinions of the public with Kori nuclear power plant of S. Korea. And then This study investigated related system for policy promotion in the field of nuclear energy of the current S. Korea. Consequently, Governance to strengthen the negotiations on nuclear technology at the time of the interaction in risk communication have been identified and the future of policy direction of the Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plant was detected.

Smartphone is very useful for use in the real world, but it has been exposed to a lot of crime by smartphone. Also, it occurs attempting to delete a data of smartphone memory by anti-forensic tools. In this paper, we implement an anti-forensic tool used in the Android. In addition, tests to validate the availability of the anti-forensic tool by the Oxygen Forensic Suite that is a commercial forensic tool.
Performance Improvement of IEEE 802.15.4 MAC For WBAN Environments in Medical

WBAN(Wireless Body Area Network) is a Wireless Sensor Network for supporting various applications around body within 2~3m which consists of medical and non-medical device. MAC in WBAN environment should satisfy requirements such as low power consumption, various transmission rate, QoS, and duty-cycle, efficiently distribute frequency band, be strong at traffic load and save energy. This paper proposes AQ(Adaptive Queuing) MAC superframe structure for efficient energy use, considering the increase of traffic load. The simulation result also show that transmission rate and average MAC delay rate is improved comparing IEEE 802.15.4 MAC with AQ MAC.
Development of constant current SMPS for LED Lighting

In this study, the constant current converter for LED lighting was designed and the electrical characteristics of the fabricated SMPS was measured. When the output current is 300mA the maximum efficiency of 85% was shown and the output current is in the range of 100~400mA efficiency over 70% were exhibited. Also the dimming levels control over the range of 0 to 100% was possible by using a control signal of 0~250mV.
An Analysis of 2012 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey Data for Exploring Physical Health Determinants of High School Students

This study explored the determinant variables of physical health of the high school students in Korea. Specifically, it explored how the sociodemographic characteristics factor, school factor, delinquent behaviors factor of the students affect their physical health using the 2012 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey. Using the case of 36,889, this study conducted frequency analysis, t-test, F-test, and multiple regression analysis. As the result of total multiple regression analysis, gender, father's educational level, sibling(s), economic status, grade, academic record, problem drinking, drug use were statistically significant determinant variables of physical health of the high school students in Korea. Also, it delivered some implications for enhancing their physical health.
A Study on measurement Technique of HRV for elder with reduced cognitive abilities

This paper was performed for the older people with cognitive abilities deteriorated, and its effectiveness is analyzed through measurement value of HRV. This paper was investigated the major acupressure that has been used frequently to people who has to decrease cognitive ability in the old documents. We measure the several variation by using a measuring instrument of HRV after performing an operation of acupuncture and moxibustion for elderly degraded cognitive ability. As compared with the measured values, the moxibustion and acupuncture to changes in the autonomic nervous system, heart rate and how it affects the efficacy was measured. As a result of research, acupuncture and moxibustion could be confirmed through the HRV analysis that there is a positive effect on the improvement of cognitive skills.
Implementation of weight sensor with polarization maintaining photonic crystal fiber

A weight sensor with a polarization maintaining photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is proposed and investigated by experimentally. The sensor system consists of a 3 dB fiber coupler, a half-wave plate, and light source. Wavelength shift induced by weight acting on the polarization maintaining PCF was measured. Two types of sensor patterns, circle type and straight type, were implemented and evaluated. The sensitivity of straight line type was 680 pm/kg and the circle type was 270 pm/kg, respectively. The both types of sensors have a good sensitivity and good linearity in the wide range.
An Effective Method of Product Number Detection from Thick Plates

In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed for detecting the product number of each thick plate and extracting each character of the product number from a image which contains several thick plates. In general, a image of thick plates contains several steal plates. To obtain the product number from the image, we first need to separate each plate. To do so, we use the line edges of thick plates and a clustering algorithm. After separating each plate, background parts are eliminated from the image of each plate. Background parts of an individual thick plate image consist of the dark part of steel and the white part of paint which is used for printing the product number. We propose a two-tiered method where dark background parts are first eliminated and then white parts are eliminated. Finally, each character is extracted from the product number image using the characteristics of product number. The results of the experiments on the various steal plates images emphasize that the proposed algorithm detects each thick plate and extracts the product number from a image effectively.

In this paper, the web accessibility of institutions and organizations that are related to disaster response we evaluate analysis. Along with the legal enforcement of Web accessibility, It is because shall comply with web accessibility. we have applied the K-WAH4.4 as an evaluation tool for web accessibility compliance of actual conditions. Look at the degree of compliance with the six detailed procedure of the web site, we request to the improvement of Web accessibility. Based on the guidelines 2.0, looked to the insufficient compliance rate at 61.8%. Then, we propose the need for improvement to enhance Web accessibility.
