Implementation of Kernel Module for Shared Memory in Dual Bus System

In this paper, shared memory feature was developed in multi-core system with different OS for different processor-specific bus, while conducting an experiment on shared memory feature between the two processors based on embedded Linux system. For the purpose of developing shared memory in dual bus structure, memory controller was used, while managing shared memory segment through list data structure. For AMP multi-core test, Linux OS was installed in 2 processor cores. In addition, it verified the creation and use of shared memory by using kernel module implemented to test shared memory.
Design and Fabrication of Inset Fed Patch Antenna Loaded with CSLR

In this paper, design and fabrication for inset fed microstrip patch antennas applied to the
array CSLR and eight CSLR, respectively, to the ground plane are studied. The theoretical results are compared to the experimental results for the return loss and radiation pattern. For `CSLR 09` antenna, the theoretical result for the resonant frequency and the return loss are 2.82 GHz and - 25.35 dB, respectively. The experimental results are obtained for a 2.885 GHz, -30.72 dB. Theoretical results for the resonant frequency and the return loss of the `CSLR 08` antenna are 2.82 GHz, -16.77 dB, respectively, and the experimental results are obtained for a 2.885 GHz, -14.90 dB. In addition, E-plane and H-plane radiation patterns in comparison with designed and fabricated antennas are in good agreement.
Design and Analysis on Compact Antenna for Handsets

In this paper, the compact antenna for handsets is designed using FR-4 substrate for LTE(905-960 MHz), WCDMA(1922.8-2167.2 MHz), DCS(1710.2-1879.8 MHz), US-PCS(1850.2-1989.8 MHz), WLAN(2400-2483 MHz). The CPW line with many advantages and a spiral geometry for miniaturization is proposed. Widths of a spiral line are constant, and three stubs are added to broaden the bandwidth. Lengths and widths of three stubs are gradually changed. And proposed antenna is optimized for VSWR<3, designed, and fabricated. The dimension of this antenna is only
which is compact. It has been demonstrated by experiment that the compact planar antenna can be used as the mobile communication LTE antenna for 4G.
Design of digital communication systems using DCSK chaotic modulation

Spread spectrum communications have increased interest due to their immunity to channel fading and low probability of intercept. One of the limitations of the traditional digital spread spectrum systems is the need for spreading code synchronization. Chaotic communication is the analogue alternative of digital spread spectrum systems beside some extra features like simple transceiver structures. In this paper, This paper was used instead of the digital modulation and demodulation carriers for use in the chaotic signal in a digital communication system among the chaotic modulation schemes, the Differential Chaos Shift Keying(DCSK) is the most efficient one because its demodulator detects the data without the need to chaotic signal phase recovery. Also Implementation of Differential Chaos Shift Keying Communication System Using Matlab/Simulink and the receiver con decode the binary information sent by the transmitter, performance curves of DCSK are given in terms of bit-error probability versus signal to noise ratio with spreading factor as a parameter and we compare it to BPSK modulation.
A Multi-User Authentication Scheme for a Smart Medication Management and Monitoring System

Even though DOT (Directly Observed Treatment) is the most definite method for the patients who need a long-term medication, its implementation is almost impossible considering the manpower and economic cost for it. The smart medication management and monitoring system that has appeared as an alternative requires a device for its implementation. In this paper, we propose so-called a smart pillbox for the smart medication management and monitoring system and the multi-user authentication scheme for sharing the smart pillbox among the patients. Through the smart pillbox and the multi-user authentication scheme, it is expected that the recovery rate would be raised by enabling the patients to take medicine in both timely and correct manner.
Design and Implementation of LED Lighting System with Adjustable Brightness and Color Capability

In this paper, we design and implement a lighting system which has a capability of adjusting brightness and colors of LED module. The lighting systems is consisted of RGB and white LEDs controlled by a micro-processor. All colors in nature can be synthesized in our lighting system by controlling brightness of 4 color LEDs individually. The current flowing to LED is limited to a maximum set value to extend the LED life time using PWM current control. The control module also includes the function that it can save and load brightness and color data set by the user. The implemented lighting system passed the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) test such that it can be used as a commercial product.
Study on Low Power LED Display Operation

According to increase in the use of the LED, the demand for low power consumption LED display design of the controller block has increased. In this paper, the low power LED controller block was designed through the power source supply that leads adiabatic operation from constant current source circuit operated by digital signal control. The proposed circuit was implemented using a 0.35um CMOS process. and it demonstrated linear operation of the circuit. From the simulation result, the proposed circuit was evaluated with about 82% power consumption reduction effect in comparison with conventional LED controller block. This research is expected to be helpful for the low power operation and the solution for heat problem of LED display.

Non-linear cellular automata is difficult to analyze mathematically than linear cellular automata. So it is difficult to identify reachable states and attractors of nongroup non-linear cellular automata than nongroup linear cellular automata. In this paper, we propose a new reachable table to overcome these problems. We can see the next state for all the states of the non-linear cellular automata by the proposed reachable table. In addition, we can identify reachable states and attractors by the reachable table.
A Design of the Database Curriculum for College Students

This paper proposes a Database Curriculum for Korean college students in the IT section. Most Korean college students in IT area should undertake Database subjects. However they are supposed to encounter identical troubles when studying the subjects. This may come from Korean culture. Therefore we analyzed out key issues that students must beware, and designed a curriculum accommodating the Korean culture.

In this paper, we propose about NFC-based mobile Easy Payment System. Already announced about kind of similar payment system by use smart phone NFC function. However this proposition system will uses an encrypted token and user indirect authentication. This feature makes through to simplify payment without other input necessary information. Also my proposition system has easy security certification process. This mean my system does not adequately to use payment of a large amount. But in retail payment will be very useful payment system.
Development of 1.2kW LED Light with Water-Air Circulation

As the development of high efficiency and high flux density LEDs, the trend of illumination lamp industry transfers from conventional-lamps to the LED-lamps. For energy efficiencies, LED lamps are superior to the conventional lamps, but they have heat problems. Especially, the heat problems are severe for the high luminance lamps. They degrade the soldering point of the metal PCB, and shorten the life cycle of LEDs. So, the solution of the heat sinking is very important to develop high luminance LED lamps. This study suggested a new method to solve the heat problems for high luminance LED lamps, and developed a LED lamp which has 1200W power. In this study, a water jacket is installed to the LED lamp, and the cooing water is circulated by a water pump.
Automatic Control System of Vertical Agitation Heater for Controlling Temperature of Greenhouse

As the current heating control of the greenhouse is located in specifically designed place, there is an inevitable difference in degrees depending on the latitude in it. Even though it is necessary to maintain the proper temperature in the greenhouse producing vegetables and fruit plants, the difference between ups and downs in the facilities results in the increasing energy consumption to both warm and cool down the facilities. The newest heating method, automatic control system of vertical agitation heater, which manipulates the inner air circulation efficiently, is suggested in this paper. The proposed system utilizes both the upper temperature and the lower temperature, and controls the air circulation fan and heating independently, so that maximizes the efficiency of heating with the minimum energy and implements predictable planning of farm products.
A study on suitability selection of artificial reef by GIS

This study carried out in order to investigate the most basic elements of suitability selection methods for composition of artificial reef. Acquired data by in-situ measurements and satellite remote sensing analysed in applying GIS. To identify the characteristic of marine environment around the West Sea, the South Sea and the East Sea of Korea, physical conditions-seabed sediment and depth, biological conditions-chlorophyll-
, chemical conditions-Sea Surface Temperature(SST) and DO were used. Suitable sites for artificial reef are selected Taean Peninsula, Geoje, Wando, Pohang, Seocheon, etc. From now on, it will be helpful to effectively utilize artificial reef as well as construct synthetic database. It is also expected to use basic data for artificial reef facilities management.
Verification of an automatic turn signal system for a bicyclist safety using Proteus VSM simulation

Bicycles share the road where high speed cars run and driving license is essential to bicyclist. After sunset, accidents can be occurred due to changing one line to another line in a road inadequately and bicycle driving route changing without an alarm. In this paper, we apply the same system as an automatic signal lights system to prevent the accidents for bicyclist safety. Then, we verify it using proteus VSM simulation.
Visibility Enhancement of Underwater Image Using a Color Transform Model

In underwater, such as fish farm and sea, turbidity is increased by water droplets and various suspended, therefore light attenuation occurs depending on the depth also caused by the scattering effect of light float. In this paper, in order to improve the visibility of underwater images obtained from these aquatic environment, we propose a visibility enhancement method using a haze removal method based on dark channel prior and a trained color transform model. In order to train a color transform model, we used underwater pattern images captured from Pohang and Yeosu, and to measure the performance of the proposed method, we carried out experiment of visibility enhancement using underwater images collected from Yeosu, Geomundo and Philippines. The results show that the proposed method can improve the visibility of underwater images of various locations.
