Equivalent Circuit Modeling Analysis of Square Split Ring Resonator with Defected Ground Structure

In this paper, the Square Split Ring Resonator(: SRR) of Defected Ground Structure(: DGS), applicable to MMIC(: Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) design, is proposed. The mathematical method to solve the equivalent parameter of the resonator from the measured results of resonator is introduced in this paper. To verify the method, SRR-DGS resonator with 2.95 GHz center frequency is fabricated, for measuring characteristics and calculating the equivalent parameter. The result from this process is compared with the data of the ADS simulation, and as a result both were identical.
A Study on Integration Scheme of Wireless Communications in Railway Wireless Network

The current railway wireless network uses various communication scheme depending on the section of railway. Therefore, in the train, it is required a specific communication device for the corresponding communication scheme to communicate and exchange data with the control center. To enhance data rate and support various services, LTE-R scheme has been developed for the next generation railway communications. To use both the existing communication and LTE-R schemes, it is required an integration method for encompassing all communication schemes. In this paper, we overview existing railway communications and LTE-R scheme. Then, we develop a network integration method which can be applied by using one terminal in the train. In addition, implementation issues for the integration are also considered.
Design and Implementation of Broadband RF Amplifier for Microwave Receiver

In this paper, We proposed a broadband RF amplifier for Microwave band receiver. We also proposed a broadband RF amplifier, designed by using EM simulation for reliable amplification of the received signal. Connected to a source terminal to via, it minimizes those which are the active elements of source-side oscillation as the operating element in an ideal GND, and a constant gain characteristic in a broadband. The goal of this was to obtain stable amplification characteristics. For implementing this architecture, we designed the broadband(500 MHz ~ 7 GHz) RF amplifier by using commercial GaAs FET, which operate on 720 MHz, 4,595 MHz, and 6,035 MHz by impedance matching. The voltage gain is 10.635 dB ~ 14.407 dB(737.5 MHz ~ 6.0575 GHz), P1dB is 20 dBc of band(1st harmonic/2nd harmonic).
Effect of Relay Location in Cooperative Networks with Partially Differential Modulation Scheme

Cooperative networks eliminate shadow area using relay and enhance communication performance by creating virtual multi input multi output (MIMO) system. In this paper, we analyze the performance of cooperative networks which use coherent modulation scheme in source-relay nodes and differential modulation scheme in relay-destination nodes depending on the relay location. We consider the performance analysis of systems with and without the direct transmission between source and destination node where the direct transmission adopts differential modulation scheme. In addition, the performance of the system with fully differential modulation scheme is compared with the system using partially differential modulation scheme. The performance of system is based on the symbol error rate between source and destination node.
Algorithm to Apply Numerical Information based on Mnemonic System

The mnemonic-system in numbers is helped you to remember numbers. In this mnemonic-system, a graph or image is a rather neat mnemonic. In graph-based systems, there are many ways such as dot, line, bar, and etc to represent a mnemonic system. Mnemonics aim to translate information into a form that the brain can retain better than its original form. This is the same in the mnemonic-system in numbers. Alternative methods in mnemonic-system for numbers are a image. In this paper, we suggest a simple graph algorithm and arranged image algorithm for the mnemonic-system in numbers, and show comparative results based on the retention of the mnemonic system about two methods.
Missing Pattern Matching of Rough Set Based on Attribute Variations Minimization in Rough Set

In Rough set, attribute missing values have several problems such as reduct and core estimation. Further, they do not give some discernable pattern for decision tree construction. Now, there are several methods such as substitutions of typical attribute values, assignment of every possible value, event covering, C4.5 and special LEMS algorithm. However, they are mainly substitutions into frequently appearing values or common attribute ones. Thus, decision rules with high information loss are derived in case that important attribute values are missing in pattern matching. In particular, there is difficult to implement cross validation of the decision rules. In this paper we suggest new method for substituting the missing attribute values into high information gain by using entropy variation among given attributes, and thereby completing the information table. The suggested method is validated by conducting the same rough set analysis on the incomplete information system using the software ROSE.
A Consideration on the Superconductivity Energy Storage Technology

Recently, the power industry has a great interest in the superconducting energy storage device as a way to maximize energy efficiency to cope with global warming. A superconducting energy storage device can archive maximization of electric energy use efficiency by storing in the form of a magnetic field energy or a kinetic energy without loss a large amount of electrical energy at the non-peak load and then converting it again into electric energy at the peak load. Therefore, in this study, such as the concept of the superconducting energy storage technologies, the present state of its research and development and its applications are surveyed and analyzed to establish methodology applying the superconducting energy storage technologies to power system.
Development of a Programmable Multi-Output Adapter

A previous adapter have a single-ouput, however, a demand of a multi-output adapter increase in the recent industrial site. In order to satisfy the demand, in this research, we implement a programmable high efficiency multi-output adapter. The basic structure of the adapter introduced in this paper is a sort of flyback. The way for producing the reference voltage of the adapter proposed is similar to the way in the general flyback implemented with TL431. In addition to the basic concept of the design, however, we introduce a digital variable resistor, AD5246BKSZ10-RL7 and a microcontroller for changing a programmable multi-output. It makes output be variable that the digital variable resistor change the reference voltage of the adapter by order of the microcontroller. The adapter output voltage is controllable in the range of 20V by the user, and the power efficiency is proven to be 85%.

Implementation of Medical Diagnostic Information System and Conformance Test of Medical Image in Mobile Environment

As the hand-held mobile devices are widely used, they are recently coming into convergence with medical diagnostic systems. Furthermore, the wireless mobile Internet and the various kinds of communication devices are rapidly coming into wide use converging with medical technology. The mobile communication environments can make people get more health care services beyond space and time. In this paper, we implement and evaluate the mobile client and the medical diagnostic information server for transmitting, searching and updating the medical diagnostic information. The DICOM CT image and the compressed JPEG 2000 CT image are statistically evaluated by t-test performance whether those images are clinically appropriate. In the case of the DICOM CT image, we realize that the average value is relatively more appropriate to the clinical diagnosis than the JPEG 2000 CT image.

IOT has evolved from the internet for human oriented, therefore our life is more advanced growth smartly. IoT is the network of physical objects or things embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator or other connected devices. Until now many researches have been studied for centering keyword for detecting emerging technology of future and scientometric analysis among the papers. This paper propose searching method of emerging technology for the IOT (internet of things) and smart device which are recently interesting area via dynamic analysis for keyword mapping.
Estimation of te origin through Disposable Lighters Monitoring of the nakdong River Esturary Using GIS

In this study, It was analyzed to estimate the origin from the collected disposable lighters with the printed company name and telephone number on the surface. Monitoring was done bimonthly from 2 areas of sandbar Coastline of Nakdong River Estuary(Jinu-do, Shinja-do) and 3 areas(Doomo beach, Heungnam beach, Yeocha beach) of Northeastern coast of Geoje-do. As a result of the monitoring, there were 166 lighters collected. Then, the monthly occurrence amount was concentrated in Jun, August. The origin of Disposable lighters that flowed in study area were mostly cause to the Nakdong River basin region and the coastal area where population densities are high.
Correlation between smartphone addiction and quality of sleep among university school students, graduate students

In modern people, smartphone is used in many fields of life styles in world wide. Its convenience and function are improved. Appropriate sleeping is essential to modern people. The overuse of smartphone threats sleeping of modern people. Result of this study shows that the deeper the addiction with smart phones the lower the quality of sleep, especially in troubles staying awake. The quality of sleep also associated with general factors including spending money, type of housing and degree of stress. There is a correlation between smart phone dependency and the quality of sleep and the more severe the dependency the more likely that the quality of sleep might fall. So we need adequate education to use smartphone for saving sleeping of modern people.
Design and Implementation of a Systolic Architecture for Low Power Wireless Sensor Network

In this paper, we propose a unique systolic structure and communication algorithm that maintains a solid link between nodes using synchronous digital communication and enables low power communication. This system was designed by using CC2500 RF transceiver, CC2590 RF front end and C8051F330 low power microcontroller. The measurement of power consumption in the network link shows below
in data transfer rate 320bps. The system constitutes the base unit of low power wireless network that was composed of each seven link nodes having eight sensor nodes. Results of the experiments show that link nodes using a 4Ah battery could operate over 3 years without replacement.
A Study on the Change of EEG for the Writing Task When CCT is Changed

This paper examine how CCT affected to writing task performance and EEG through 24 elementary students from in July to September, 2014. The study analyzed EEG that was changed in a task performance under an orange color light and a white color light in a laboratory for stabilization and relaxation. The study results showed that an alpha wave, beta wave, high-beta wave were high under the white color light. The task performance time, however, showed significant fast performance under the orange color light. Although pre-existing low CCT has been considered as typical type for stabilization and relaxation, this study provides that the various applications in the elements of cognition, tasks, and types can affect improvement of task performance and occupation ability.
