Transport Social Overhead Capital refers to public utilities necessary for a nation's basic economic activities, and is divided into roads, railway, subway, ports and so on. It is important to be able to provide these SOC in the right place at the right time to enhance productivity and competitiveness of a nation. In this study, correlation and factor analysis on countries' socioeconomic and transport indicators were performed in order to understand the need for expansion of SOCs including railway, and to identify the impact they have on national competitiveness(productivity). As a result, GDP showed high correlativity(0.59~0.99) with factors such as population, land area, extension of available railroad, and road extension. Specifically, through the analysis of Russia's urban transport system and comparison between socioeconomic indices and SOCs of OECD countries, it was examined that how increasing transport infrastructure investments could enhance national competitiveness. In conclusion, opening new Light Rail greatly affects the growth of GDP followed by the increasing extension of available railroad. Furthermore, if available railroad extension is increased by 10 % from 2014, assuming high speed tram is opened, GDP will likely increase by 21.6%.
A Study on Estimation of Submarine Groundwater Discharge Distribution area using IR camera and Field survey around Jeju island

This study was aimed to detect area of Submaine Groundwater Discharged(: SGD) around Jeju island using by remote sensing. Sea Surface Temperature(SST) was identified using IR camera on Unmaned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) at Gimnyeong port in study area. Then SGD location was detected by comparing range of SGD temperature. Generally, range of SGD temperature is distributed 15 to 17 like underground water. The result, SGD location was detected by SST distribution of Gimnyeong port recorded by IR camera in the southwest of study area.

Hoist have been installed at wharfs or seashore in the center of fishing village fraternities. A Hoist is used in harbor loading and unloading fishing gear or seafoods and is a device to refloat fishing boats into a breakwater or land in case of typhoon or bad weather. In this paper, we propose image perception and moving objects tracking system that detects boat's damage, theft and trespassing occurred at the wharf. This system detects objects' motion in real time by using the motion templet and tracks to concentrate on a moving object(person, boat, etc.) by using a PTZ camera.
Safety Security Method and Onboard Design for Inter-operation between CBTC, ATC Train Control System

Recently, An introduction of communication based train control system both into greenfield and brownfield of urban transit network has been actively reviewed. However, since a number of line sections and rolling stock depots tends to be constructed based on track circuit for various reasons, necessity of inter-operation between two distinct train control system (CBTC, ATC) increases. Therefore, we propose a design of on-board signalling device that allows inter-operation of CBTC and ATC lines and a method to secure safe connection between these two lines without derailing point machine.
Measurement of Setup and Hold Time in a CMOS DFF for a Synchronizer

As the semiconductor processing technology has been developing, multiple cores or NoC(network on chip) can be contained in recent chips. GALS(globally asychronous locally synchronous) clocking scheme that has multi-clock domains with different frequencies or phase differences is widely used to solve power consumption and clock skew in a large chip with a single clock. A synchronizer is needed to avoid a synchronization problem between sender and receiver in GALS. In this paper, the setup and hold time of DFF required to design the synchronizer are measured using 180nm CMOS processing parameters depending on temperature, supply voltage, and the size of inverter in DFF. The simulation results based on the bisection method in HSPICE show that the setup and hold time are proportional to temperature, however they are inversely proportional to supply voltage, and negative values are measured for the hold time.

In this paper, we propose the Hornet-Cloud using security Honeypot technique and resources of Cloud Computing, and design the concept of active-interaction and security functions of Hornet-Cloud simply.
An Efficient Voice Activity Detection Method using Bi-Level HMM

We presented a method for Vad(Voice Activity Detection) using Bi-level HMM. Conventional methods need to do an additional post processing or set rule-based delayed frames. To cope with the problem, we applied to VAD a Bi-level HMM that has an inserted state layer into a typical HMM. And we used posterior ratio of voice states to detect voice period. Considering MFCCs(: Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients) as observation vectors, we performed some experiments with voice data of different SNRs and achieved satisfactory results compared with well-known methods.

, the low-carbon and long-life of the construction and the construction materials management system based on the radio frequency identification (RFID) technique have been actively studied in the construction field. The conventional construction management system based on RFID only focuses on the study and experiment for managing the used amount and location of the construction materials in the construction stage, but it does not consider the study for the status management system for the recycling materials in the construction stage or the building deactivation. In this paper, we propose the effective RFID system for managing the status of the construction materials during the construction stage or the building deactivation. Employing RFID with the frequency of 900MHz, the proposed system consists of the reader unit, communication unit, and memory unit, and its tags are attached in the surface or inside of the construction materials.
Communication Network Topology and Performance Evaluation of the Drone Delivery System for Collision Avoidance

Recently, many companies try to offer various services using drones. Especially, the drone delivery system is a good example. However, the drone delivery service has some problems since the heavy parcels flies over the people walking down streets, so many things must be considered such as dropping mails by collision of drones. To resolve the problem, in this paper, a inter-drone network communication will be used to design the topology and to simulate in the Opnet simulator for the performance evaluation. Additionally, the topology with random mobility of trajectory of drones is also designed and simulated for the result.
Design of a Current Transducer and Over-Current Fault Detection Circuit for Power Strip Applications

For the over-heat protection purpose in power strip devices, over-current detection/protection circuits, such as bimetal, switching circuit, and microprocessor-based relay circuit, have been widely setup in high-end products. Most of these circuits are connected to the power line in parallel and, thus, they are sensitive to the line voltage and current distortion. Moreover, these protection circuits are often costly and, therefore, it is hard to meet the commercial requirements. A low-cost over-current detection circuit with the contactless current transducer is designed and tested in this paper. The detection circuit is galvanically isolated from the power line and, thus, less sensitive to the line voltage distortion. The experimental results show that the proposed circuit accurately operates despite of its simple structure and low-cost electronic parts.

In this paper, in order to prevent impulse surge PoE(Power Over Ethernet) communications error caused by natural phenomenon in industrial sites, countermeasure design of impulse surge of PoE communications equipment is suggested by designing dual impulse surge protection circuit. In order to analyze characteristic of impulse surge noise signal, surge generating device which meet international standard IEC 61000-4-5 is invented. And this device shows that surge signal is weakened by designing dual PoE power supply protection circuit by connecting surge generating device to the PoE data transfer line.
A Study on the modeling and operation control of a variable speed synchronous wind power system

This study performs the dynamic modeling and the simulation of variable speed wind power system and implements the models of wind speed, wind turbine & PMSG, and MPPT & pitch control as well. The simulation of wind turbine was performed by using the power coefficient and other simulation parameters which were extracted with reference to the commercial 5MW class wind turbine data. As the result of this simulation, MPPT control is confirmed, maintaining the maximum power coefficient as far as the rated speed 12[m/s]. Over 12[m/s] wind speed, this wind power system makes it possible to keep the stable output by controlling the pitch angle.

Power amplification device which is matched to
in order to achieve a high efficiency of a power amplifier using a GaN power amplification device, since there is a limit of application frequency bands, output power, efficiency characteristics selection, in this study based on the measurement data through the source/load-pull test, high output power and to extract quantitative input and output impedance that matches the design objectives of high output power, high efficiency, an implementation of the high efficiency power amplifier. Implemented power amplifier is shows 25watt(44dBm), PAE of 66-76% characteristics in the frequency band of 2.7-3.1 GHz.
A Comparative Analysis on the Operating System of Urban Railway & Conventional·High speed Railway

Generally, Urban railway have special characteristics with short distance journey and minimum headway intercity transportation. These days, urban railway operators choose the driverless operation system without driver. On the contrary, Conventional & high speed railway utilize for long distance and high speed running. Because of special conditions of freight railway operation compared with urban railway, operation of conventional & high speed railway is showed very different characteristics. In this paper, We compares different operation scheme of urban railway and conventional & high speed railway and then present condition for train control system based on radio.

2008 Disability Discrimination Act was enacted, Web accessibility compliance has been carried out from April 11, 2013. Therefore, all of the institutions and corporations in 2015, must fulfill the compliance of Web accessibility. In this paper, research for Web accessibility of Geriatric Hospital, to raise the improvement. We have applied the K-WAH 4.4 as accessibility evaluation tool. The results were evaluated on the basis of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, it was very low.
