In this paper, we describe a method for the suitability selection on habitable environments of Corbicula Japonica in the Songji Lagoon. Acquired data by in-situ measurements analysed in applying GIS. In order to identify the characteristics of environment in Songji Lagoon, water temperature, salinity, Dissolved Oxygen, and PO4-P were used. This study is expected to use the basic data for Corbicula Japonica breeding in similar lagoon environments.
An Efficient MANET Routing Protocol for the Drone Delivery Communication Network System

The drone delivery service as a new important business is emerging worldwide. American DHL parcel service is already running the delivery business using drones, and the Google, Amazon, and china's Alibaba, Baidu are also preparing for the same business. However, there are some problems in security and safety since the heavy parcels flies over the people walking down streets, so many things must be considered. The problems can be solved by communicating among drones to avoid collision. Therefore, the efficient network performance is essential, and to resolve the problem, in this paper, an efficient routing protocol is suggested by the Opnet simulator. The drone intercommunication network of MANET is designed and simulated for the efficient routing protocol.

Security solutions using fiber-optic cable have not yet secured a solid technical stability, through which the Acoustic detection security system also did not have a complete defense techniques such as false alarm and detecting fail due to a number of variables. In this paper, we investigate 4 characteristics for the channel of underwater acoustic communication. We also construct detection system as a construction method for security system using optical cable through the analysis of acoustic signal in underwater. We perform analysis of signal characteristics and noise of underwater optical cable, and then we confirms the possibility of real application.

In this paper, neutralization line structure have been employed to improve the isolation between the MIMO antenna system. The proposed MIMO antenna size is
and designed on FR-4(
) ground substrate. Neutralization line was applied to enhance isolation between the each antenna elements. The fabricated antenna satisfied a VSWR below 3 in LTE band B13 and the isolation between the MIMO antenna system is presented below -15dB. On the H-plane, antenna shows an omnidirectional pattern. In LTE band B13, the antenna presents a gain of a -2.6dBi ~-1.18dBi and radiation efficiency of 33.49% ~ 46.45%. Comparing measurement result with the outcome of simulation, the proposed MIMO antenna is expected to be applied for mobile application.
Utilization of Phase Information for Speech Recognition

Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients(: MFCC) is one of the noble feature vectors for speech signal processing. An evident drawback in MFCC is that the phase information is lost by taking the magnitude of the Fourier transform. In this paper, we consider a method of utilizing the phase information by treating the magnitudes of real and imaginary components of FFT separately. By applying this method to speech recognition with FVQ/HMM, the speech recognition error rate is found to decrease compared to the conventional MFCC. By numerical analysis, we show also that the optimal value of MFCC components is 12 which come from 6 real and imaginary components of FFT each.
A Study on Architecture Design of Power Supply for SIL4 Safety Related System

This paper introduces the architecture of the power supply in order to achieve the safety integrity target for power supply which is a part of safety related system. The integrity level for safety is set 4 and according to the IEC 62425 which is standard for railway application the architecture design is conducted and process for design is developed. The procedure for design consists with 6 steps. The architecture of power supply that is able to keep the safety integrity against of failure of power supply is derived through the analysis and it is suggested that the power supply adopted the result in this paper is suitable to apply in safety system. Also, the failure frequency that is a quantitative value for the power supply is proposed.
Optimal QP Determination Method for Adaptive Intra Frame Encoding

In video coding, the first frame of a GOP is encoded in intra mode which generates a larger number of bits. In addition, the first frame is used for the inter mode encoding of the following frames. Thus the intial QP for the first frame encoding affects the first frame as well as the following frames. To determine the initial QP that maximizes the PSNR of a GOP, several algorithms which uses the ratio of the PSNR of the I frame and the PSNR of P frames of a GOP have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a new traffic model that can be used to determine the optimal initial QP simply and exactly in algorithms that use the PSNR ratio. We first analyze the characteristics of the PSNR ratio of I and P frames and the PSNR of a GOP, and then propose a new traffic model which can represent the characteristics and determine the optimal intial QP. It is shown by experimental results that the initial QP determination method with the proposed model can predict an optimal initial QP whose difference from the optimal value is less than 2. The proposed scheme can also generate the PSNR performance better than that of the existing JVT algorithm.
Source Coding Rule of Characters to Minimize HDB-3 Scrambling in Line Coder for UTF-8 code

This paper studied the source coding rule of the characters to minimize the HDB-3 scrambling for UTF-8 code. An existing source coding rule of the characters to minimize the HDB-3 scrambling in the line coder is for the source codes which are directly entered into the line coder without any transformation. Therefore the existing source coding rule can't apply the UTF-8 code which is directly came into an input of line coder. The reason is that the scrambling code in the source codes are not same as UTF-8 codes. So, if they want to analysis the scrambling occurrence situation in UTF-8 codes and make an unscrambling UTF-8 code, they should make a UTF-8 code table for the source codes, find out the scrambling occurrence codes and then encode the unscrambling source code. The source coding rule for UTF-8 code showing this paper can omit such a complicated procedure to encode an unscrambling source code.
Construction Materials Management System Based on Location Information Using UHF RFID

Using the radio wave, RFID(: Radio Frequency IDentification) wirelessly transmits the unique information saved in a tag attached on the specific object. In the construction area, the trend in using RFID for managing the input and inventory of the construction materials is upward. General management systems for the construction materials have only a function of identifying the tag attached on the construction materials, but the management system with a function of identifying and managing the location information of the construction materials employing RFID, for reusing it, is not actively developed. For the efficient reuse of the construction materials, in this paper, we propose the RFID system with a function of estimating and saving the location information of the specific construction materials, based on the estimated distances between the particular subs and reader. The proposed system consists of RFID reader, distance estimate, communication, and memory units.
Improved Complementary Filter with The Butterworth Property

Complementary Filter is commonly used in signal processing method for real-time position measurement. Butterworth filter characteristic has a uniform gain in the pass band, the blocking band has a good blocking characteristics. Therefore, we propose a method of designing a complementary filter having a characteristic of Butterworth filter characteristic. By setting the appropriate filter coefficients in the simulation it appears to improve the performance of the filter. In the experiment it shows a real-time signal processing is possible by using the calculated filter coefficients in the simulation.
Stair Locomotion Method of Quadruped Robot Using Genetic Algorithm

In this paper, we propose an efficient stair locomotion method for a quadruped robot with mechanism of insectile legs using genetic algorithm(GA). In the proposed method, we first define the factors and the reachable region for the stair locomotion. In addition, we set the gene and the fitness function for GA and generate the gait trajectory by searching the landing position of a quadruped robot, which has the minimun distance of movement and the optimal energy stability margin(ESM). Finally, we verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed stair locomotion method through the computer simulations.
The Relationship of U-Traffic Service Quality and User Satisfaction

This paper aims to study the relationship of U-Traffic Service Quality and User Satisfaction. Independence variables is u-traffic service quality, and mediation parameters are publicity, usefulness and economic. Dependent variable is user satisfaction. Using SPSS 18.0, a series of factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis have been performed. The conclusion is as follows. First, U-traffic service quality have a positive effect on user satisfaction directly. Second, U-traffic service quality have a positive effect on user satisfaction through mediation parameters of publicity, usefulness and economic. Third, service quality factor of the U-traffic service quality have more effect on user satisfaction than system quality factor. Last, usefulness among mediation parameters have the most positive effect on user satisfaction.
Implementation of a SNOMED CT Browser for Effective Searching of Clinical Terminology

To write a medical record using SNOMED CT standard clinical terminologies, it is necessary to find and select an appropriate terminology from the huge volume of terminologies within short time. Using previous SNOMED CT search browsers, it is very difficult to select appropriate one from search results since they provide a simple list-up of similar candidate terminologies. This paper proposes a novel search browser which supports effect searching of clinical terminology by utilizing characteristics of SNOMED CT. The proposed system provides a simplified tree-view representing hierarchical structures of search results which enables fast selection of appropriate terminology from the search results. Design and Implementation of the system proves effectiveness of the proposed approach.
Development of IoT Gateway based on Open Source H/W

The era of IoT in which all objects are intelligent and are connected to the Internet has been started. In order to establish and activate an IoT eco system, open services platform is very important. In this paper, we developed a gateway that utilize the Raspberry Pi which is open source hardware for IoT open service platform. The gateway supports a variety of wireless interface and equipped with MQTT, a standard messaging protocol for IoT. To confirm main function of developed gateway, we built a IoT test bed and verified normal operation of our gateway.
