As a future key industry, digital signage is being noticed that provides various type of contents and message through a digital display. In particular, korean digital signage industry gets a favorable evaluation for the high level of digital display industry and wired and wireless networking infrastructure. This paper discusses on not only the current status of digital signage in terms of the overall development and standardization, but the very recent technologies such as the ultra-high definition video and human perception that can be applied for future digital signage. Then, this paper concludes by deriving the problems with the current digital signage industry and presenting solutions for future vitalizations of digital signage.

Comparison of detection rates Area sensors and 3D spatial division multiple sensors for detecting obstacles in the screen door

A subway platform is equipped with screen doors in oder to avoid accidents of passengers, where Area sensors are installed for detecting obstacles in the screen doors. However, there exist frequent operating errors in screen doors due to dusts, sunlight, snow, and bugs. It is required to develope a detection device which reduces errors and elaborates detection function. In this paper, we compared the detection rates of the Area sensor the 3D sensor using CCTV-based image data with installing sensors at the screen door in Munyang station Daegu, where 3D sensor is applied with the space division multiple detection algorithms. It is measured that the detection rate of 3D sensor and Area sensor is approximately 89.61% and 78.88%, respectively. The results confirmed that 3D senor has higher detection rate compared with Area sensor with the rate of 6.87~9.79%, and 3D sensor has benefit in the aspect of installation fee.

In recent years, our society, because of the arrival of a new paradigm according to the rapid changes in ICT has entered into future smart society and the ubiquitous era. So it can be a notable turning point in the marine disaster prevention system with big data, aspects of the era change. Therefore, this study was to derive a desirable vision for the big data marine disaster prevention informatization in terms of ICT maritime disaster prevention system development as preparedness for the maritime disaster by applying `scenario planning` as a foresight method. Soon this study derived a successful marine disaster prevention informatization strategy as preparedness for the maritime disaster like Ferry Sewol Disaster. It proposed the big data marine disaster prevention informatization system with the use of the administrative aspects of information with spatial informatization as big data information. Also this study explored the future leadership strategy of the big data marine disaster prevention informatization in smart society. Eventually in 2030 to around, In order to still remain our marine disaster prevention informatization as a leading ICT nation, this study suggested the following strategy. It is important to ready the advanced Big Data administrative spatial informatization system In terms of prevention of incidents like Ferry Sewol Disaster.
High Speed Collision Avoidance Algorithm for Active RFID Network System

This paper proposes an efficient collision avoidance algorithm that a group of RFID readers manage each of their affiliated active RFID tags in a space by establishing wireless network and avoids communication collision between RFID reader to reader and RFID tag to tag, and reader to tag. RF readers operate as wireless network nodes, create synchronous links each other, and can exchange messages. Active tags also are operated communicating each reader devices synchronously, and competing slot position between tags algorithm using unique tag identification number is implemented. Each reader node operates their own reader function different time slot network communication period to prevent collision between readers communication.
The Study on the implementation and design of the RF transceiver for fast frequency hopping

This paper presents a study on the subject for the design and implementation of high-speed frequency hopping RF transceiver used for tactical communications systems. Jump the transmission / reception frequency of the L-band to hop tens per second is possible by maximizing the immunity to interference, and is applicable to communication systems having a charging rotation function. To high-speed frequency hopping it is necessary to apply the necessary fast frequency hopping scheme DDS Driven PLL added. In this paper, the RF transceiver design and simulation analysis capabilities with fast frequency tactical communication systems, were implemented after the main test for functionality and performance. Design of Brushless DC Motor Speed Control System for Handpieces

In this paper, we develope a speed control system of a BLDC motor for handpieces used in beauty applications. To reduce implementation cost, the control system utilizes hall sensors embedded in BLDC motors for speed estimation. The developed power module of a motor uses only 220V home voltage, so that the control system does not need any other power sources. An over-speed limit controller is also developed to slow down a motor when the speed goes up rapidly for a moment upon some heavy load is removed. The control system is designed to operate a handpiece with speed in the range of 5,000~30,000 RPM. Experiment results show the validity of the developed system, which maintains the speed of a motor steady even though a load is varied.
The Implementation of Active Leakage Current Detecting Algorithm based on 16 bit Signal Processor

The ELCB(: Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) is the only way being used to prevent accidents from happening caused by electrical disaster. However, the existing ELCB has a limit to prevent damages to life and property due to a electric fire and a human body electric shock caused by the resistive leakage current, because of detecting the total leakage current in the block range of 15mA~30mA. It also has problems such as reduced productivity and reliability due to malfunctions by capacitive leakage currents. In this study, we have implemented the algorithm for the resistive leakage current detection technique and developed the resistive leakage current detection module based on a MSP430 processor, 16bit signal processor and this module can be operated in a desired block threshold within 0.03 seconds as specified in KS C 4613.

The suggested paper studies communications network and system technology, designing data to sync to both USB memories and cloud storages at the same time, which would allow users to safely keep and manage data even in case of network troubles, affecting cloud storages, and/or loss of physical USB memories, resulting in lost data in the physical memory. The need of secure data management policy for cloud storage users form the basis of this study, offering solutions to network failures and loss of physical storage by creating hybrid cloud system. To provide convenience to windows users, the UI design should integrate that of windows explorer to maximize security and convenience.
Design and Analysis of Multiple Intrusion Detection Model

Intrusion detection model detects a intrusion when intrusion behaviour occurred. The model analyzes a variety of intrusion pattern and supports a modeling method to represent for a intrusion pattern efficiently. Particularly, the model defines classes of intrusion pattern and supports modeling method that detects a network level intrusion through multiple hosts for multiple intrusions. In this paper, proposes a multiple intrusion detection model that support a verification method for intrusion detection systems and verifies a safeness of proposed model and compares with other models.
Development of wheel width and tread acquisition algorithm using non-contact treadle sensor

Vehicle classification system in domestic tollgates is usually to use treadle sensor for calculating wheel width and tread of the vehicle. due to the impact that occurs when the wheels of the vehicle contact, treadle sensor requires high durability. recently, KHC(Korea Highway Corporation) began operating high-speed lane for cargo truck. high-speed cargo truck generate more impact the design criteria of previous treadle. therefore, an increase in the maintenance and management costs of the treadle damage is concerned. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for obtaining optimal wheel width and tread using non-contact treadle sensor that been improved durability from physical impacts. for the verification of the proposed algorithm, a field test was performed using 1/2/3/6 class vehicles based on the KHC`s classification criteria. through this experiments, maximum error of the width and the tread is each
, also the accuracy was measured as 98%, 97% or more, and proved that the proposed algorithm valid on to apply to the vehicle classification system.
Train Speed Control in Slope Area Using Infrared System

Train speed control is a vital part of train protection to build safe movement at an operation track. There is a special condition of track that needs more attention to protect the train, for example in slope area. Moreover, in developing country with vandalism problem, it requires to install minimalized equipment on the trackside. In addition, in tropical country, on tracksides it will be potentially pooling water that influences to the performance of trackside equipment. To address these problems, we propose the train speed control for slope area using infrared system. By installing on the pole configuration, the system offers a less challenging, economically sensible, minimalized installation of equipment on the trackside and reliability for heavy rain environment. This paper concentrates on the controlling train speed and measurement performance evaluation in slope area. The proposed train speed control system can monitor and control the speed in sloping area with maximum 3.6% and controlled speed about 20 km per h.
Analysis of Nonlinear Behavior in Idea of Physical Exercise with Unification of Mind and Body

The basic equation of body and mind that can be represented as body and mind based on love model of Romeo and Juliet is presented in this paper. In order verify validity for physical idea of unification for body and mind when the external force is applied in the basic equation. We display the time series and phase portrait for nonlinear behavior, and this paper confirms the point of difference between body-mind neutral monism and body-mind dualism.
