Folded Loop Antennas for RFID Appilication

In this paper, we examined the operating principle of a passive tag antenna for RFID system in UHF band. Based on the study, we proposed a novel RFID tag antenna which adopts the inductively coupled feeding structure to match antenna impedance to a capacitively loaded commercial tag chip. The proposed tag antenna consists of microstrip lines on a thin PET substrate for low-cost fabrication. The detail structure of the tag antenna were optimized using a full electromagnetic wave simulator of IE3D in conjunction with a Pareto genetic algorithm, and the size of the tag antenna can be reduced up to kr=0.27(2 cm2). We built some sample antennas and measured the antenna characteristics such as a return loss, an efficiency, and radiation patterns. The readable range of the tag antenna with a commercial RFID system showed about 1 to 3 m.

Ministry of Information and Communication is pushing for IT 839 strategy that has main points : 8 major service which can develop IT industry of Korea on the whole, 3 major infra, and 9 major new growth power. Of these, RFID/USN utilizing service is expected to exert a great influence the whole industry from field that is closely related with our life to national defense, supply, construction, transportation, physical distribution, manufacture, circulation, and service. In domestic case, departure of RFID/USN field is a little bit later than advanced nation's, and a technique difference between domestic field and that of advanced nation is about 2 years. In this situation, in order to develop middleware of various field gearing RFID Tag efficiently, we have to study about user interface and data analysis technique that is used in middleware commonly. This paper searches about WPF that appears in user interface field with up-to-date technique, and embodies 3 dimension visualization information system with WPF.

IPv6 is a protocol to solve the address space limitation of IPv4 by IETF. Many transition mechanism to communicate between IPv4 and IPv6 in mixed IPv4/IPv6 network are proposed. DSTM tunneling is a mechanism that dual stack in IPv6 network is able to communicate with node in IPv4 network by dynamic allocating the IPv4 address. This mechanism supports the execution of IPv4 dependent application without modification at IPv6 network. In this paper, we explain the security vulnerability at DSTM network for DHCP attack, TEP attack, and source spoofing attack then describe the result of attacks.

The Laser distance instrument in past was used mainly with military affairs and the helicopter loaded measures the distance with target and the firing body used in the tank. The military suspicion case measurement distance was scope until of tens km consequently from possibility km and under measuring should have been boiled the low error was 5m husbands and wives. Like this under using should have been boiled the effort was being continued the Laser distance instrument will be able to apply in industry from the present paper hereupon and the usability developed verified.
Middleware Implementation for Mobile RFID Terminal

Radio frequencies used by the logistics of RFID in various areas, including research the core of ubiquitous computing. Moreover, RFID and the convergence of mobile terminals RFID research started as a B2B service area, B2C services and the expansion of the zone. B2B2C to in order to provide services ranging from mobile terminals for RFID technology development is needed. We develop middleware for a mobile RFID terminal. It consists of multi-code recognition module, the reader control module, the module code interpretation, and Dispatcher module. We present the implementation of these functions on an emulator.
The Implementation of Real Time Vital Sign Information Management System in Patient Monitoring Systems

HL7 is well-Known standard protocol for text data generated in hospital information systems. In this paper, we have to design to obtain useful vital sign information, which is generated at data receiver modulor of HIS, that is offered by the central monitor. Vital sign informations of central monitor is composed of the row data of several bedsite patient monitors. We are willing to maintain vital sign information of real time and continuity that is generated from the bedsite patient monitor. It is able to apply to remote medical examination and treatment. we proposed integration method between vital sign database systems and hospital information systems. Through the proper exchange and management of patient vital sign information, real time vital sign information management will offer better workflow to all hospital employee.
