Modified Monopole Antenna for Multi resonance Wideband

This paper designed and fabricated the printed dual monopole antenna with CPW feeder for PCS and UWB(Ultra-Wide Band) band. In this paper, modified dual monopole antenna is proposed transform conventional monopole antenna to get dual band frequency. The dual monopole antennas have dual band, broad bandwidth and omni-directional radiation patterns, as it is the conventional monopole antenna. As one monopole operated a stub to match feed line with antenna, we are obtained easy an ideal impedance matching. It is increased band width of impedance. The antenna bandwidth is about 1350MHz (1.69~2.04[GHz]z]) at 1st resonance frequency, 2,670MHz (4.33~6[GHz]) at 2nd, resonance frequency, and, 3,980MHz (6.1~10.08[GHz]) at 3th resonance frequency on VSWR
2, and then we can be got not only 1.75~1.87 [GHz] PCS band but also, UWB band.
Interference Analysis based on the Monte-Carlo Method

In this paper, we proposed the methodology of interference analysis based on monte-carlo method for effective use of Industrial, Scientific, Medical (ISM) band. The interference scenario is divided according to the distance and density. The simulation of interference analysis evaluates the interference probability according to distribution density of Interfering Transmitters (It) in the Secure Interference Area (SIA). The SIA is gained from the Interference Efficiency Range that satisfied to Interference Permissible Range of Victim Receiver (Vr). Simulation result that apply the proposed interference scenario to the WLAN and bluetooth, Interference Permissible Range was 60~400m. And the WLAN was acceptable within interference permissible range to six bluetooth that exist in the SIA. In the same condition, when applied Listen Before Talk (LBT) based on Cognitive Radio (CR) to the bluetooth using Frequency Hopping (FH), interference probability was decreased sharply. The Spectrum Engineering Advanced Monte Carlo Analysis Tool (SEAMCAT) that has been developed based on the monte-carlo method by European Radio-communications Office (ERO) were used to the interference simulation.
Overview and Development of Digital SignalProcessing

Digital signal processing (DSP) is the process of taking a signal and performing an algorithm on it to analyze, modify, or better identify that signal. To take advantage of DSP advances, one must have at least a basic understanding of DSP theory along with an understanding of the hardware architecture designed to support these new advances. There are several programming techniques that maximize the efficiency of the DSP hardware, as well as a few fundamental concepts used to implement DSP software. This article introduced some of these underlying functions that are the building blocks of complex signal processing functions, and It will touch on the fundamental concepts of DSP theory and algorithms and also provide an overview of the implementation and optimization of DSP software, and discuss the development of DSP.
Energy-efficient and QoS Guaranteed MAC protocol in Ubiquitous Sensor Networks

The sensor node's performance is expected to be improved and the price will be largely decreased. As USN-applied field is expanded, multiple application services are expected to be provided through one USN soon. Multiple applications be required a periodic data reporting, consecutive information monitoring, event-driven data and query-based data as the data pattern that USN is delivered. Accordingly, the mechanism which can assure QoS according to each data characteristic is required. In this paper, A proposed protocol apply the duty cycle of S-MAC protocol variably and flexible according QoS level. This method largely reduces the delay on the delay-sensitive traffic, while keeping the energy efficiency.
Performance Improvement of Current Memory for Low Power Wireless Communication MODEM

It is important to consider the life of battery and low power operation for various wireless communications. Thus, Analog current-mode signal processing with SI circuit has been taken notice of in designing the LSI for wireless communications. However, in current mode signal processsing, current memory circuit has a problem called clock-feedthrough. In this paper, we examine the connection of CMOS switch that is the common solution of clock-feedthrough and calculate the relation of width between CMOS switch for design methodology for improvement of current memory. As a result of simulation, when the width of memory MOS is 20um, ratio of input current and bias current is 0.3, the width relation in CMOS switch is obtained with
, for the nMOS width of 2~6um in CMOS switch. And from the same simulation condition, it is obtained with
for the nMOS width of 6~10um in CMOS switch. Then the defined width relation of MOS transistor will be useful guidance in design for improvement of current memory.

Implementation of Ka-band Low Noise Block Converter For Satellite TVRO

In this paper, Low Noise Block down converter(LNB) is designed for a Ka-band satellite television receiver only(TVRO) using commercially available MMIC. Designed Low Noise Block down-converter is composed of three stage amplifiers involving input noise matched at first amplification stage, image reject band pass filter, frequency mixer and intermediate frequency amplification. Through LNB Module power budget to obtain gain and attenuation, Optimum LNB devices satisfying Ka-band LNB technical specification are selected. At the ubiquitous computing, Mobile RFID, which the convergence RFID and mobile device, researches are core method and infra to service B2B, B2C, and B2B2C service domain. We propose the functions of middleware to develop the mobile RFID device. It consists of multi-code integrated recognition module, the reader control module, the module code interpretation, and Dispatcher module. These functions can recognize the tag of EPC/ISO and mCode type. We describe the zone file of local ODS and the implemented module to read the 13.56MHz tag.
The Development of Vital Sign Web Viewer Systems using HL7 Protocol

HL7 is well-Known standard protocol for text data generated in hospital information systems. Vital sign information web viewer systems is also the standard protocol for medical image and transfer. In order to embrace new technologies as telemedicine service, it is important to develope the standard protocol between different systems in the hospital, as well as the communication with external hospital systems. In this paper, we proposed integration method between vital sign web viewr systems and hospital information systems. Through the proper data exchange and modification of information management, HIS will offer better work flow to all hospital employee.
