Implementation of a Microwave Doppler Sensor

In this paper, Microwave doppler radar sensor operated in 10.525GHz is designed by dielectric resonant oscillator. According to doppler effects, a characteristic of Microwave sensor with FMCW was analyzed. The qualities of objects velocity and distance between object and microwave sensor by sensor output frequency difference was measured. As a result of Microwave doppler radar sensor, the prototype sensor is available for indoor burglar alarms and other application through FMCW signal.

A Study on the Amplification Block for Integrated Antenna Module Applicable to Vehicles

In this paper, we designed and fabricated the active amplification block for the integrated antenna module. The fabricated amplification module have a proper gain and low noise figure in the band of AM/FM band, T-DMB band and GPS band, and show good isolation performance for each band. Manufactured circuits satisfied the gain performance 7 dB in AM band, 11 dB in FM band, 10 dB in T-DMB, and 17 dB in GPS band. The integrated amplification block was realized by 35 mm*35 mm size, and was shown as the same sensitivity performance as compared with a conventional reference antennas.

As the Internet Protocol be widely/rapidly used in packet communication, common carriers are providing the multimedia service(Both direction real-time voice, video conference, remote educational etc.)on the Internet. Also the 070 VoIP (Voice over IP) service is provided by the carriers on the packer network. In order to offer VoIP service in Korea, common carrier has to acquire the optimum level for QoS(quality of service). In this paper, we study on CODEC quality to get a higher QoS for VoIP.

Modern society encounters various accidents due to industrialization and numbers of studies are going on to minimize damage from accidents. For prevention of accidents, it is necessary to design a system that helps making accurate judgment in emergency cases and is able to instantly manage each contingency. Various studies are currently going on contingency information system under ubiquitous environment. However, there have not been sufficient studies on the system that is able to monitor and process multiple contingencies and thus we still have difficulties in coping with multiple contingencies promptly. This study designs a RFID/USN middleware system for multiple contingencies control that receives data from various kinds of sensors and saves data after time marking thus is able to provide conjectured context when requested.

Thanks to the development of computer graphics, Animation can be easily accessed through movies or games. The users can meet various contents and are asking for high quality animations that resembles reality to a near perfection. The research is proceeded to observe the fish shapes and swimming movements through cyber aquariums, fish ecology museums and fish encyclopedias. The core of expressing undersea scenery is the natural and dynamic movements of the fish. In this thesis in order to achieve the natural shape of fish swimming, it is necessary to design a fish growth process system based on environmental factors and apply different standard points depending on the various swimming types of fish species to express the fish as near reality as possible. And by calculating the different swimming velocities of different standard points, a natural swimming shape will be achieved.
Facial Animation Generation by Korean Text Input

In this paper, we propose a new method which generates the trajectory of the mouth shape for the characters by the user inputs. It is based on the character at a basis syllable and can be suitable to the mouth shape generation. In this paper, we understand the principle of the Korean language creation and find the similarity for the form of the mouth shape and select it as a basic syllable. We also consider the articulation of this phoneme for it and create a new mouth shape trajectory and apply at face of an 3D avatar.
Design of LED Driving SMPS for Large Traffic Signal Lamp

In this study, SMPS to drive LED traffic signal light for the railroad and airport was designed and its electrical characteristics was measured. The output voltage, output current and its power efficiencies to the input voltage 8~12VAC and 8~16VDC were 6VDC, 1.85ADC and >70%, respectively. Also the power factors of the SMPS were above 0.75 in the AC input voltage range.
Look-up Table Based Pulse-Shaping Filter

In this paper, an efficient pulse-shaping filter structure for high-density and low-power electronic devices is proposed. The proposed structure is based on polyphase decomposition property and look-up table method. By Synopsys CAD simulations, it is shown that the use of the proposed method can result in reduction in the number of gates by 54% and can reduce power consumption by 9%.
Analysis on Efficiency for the Quality Elevation of Edu-Game Contents on Mobile Platforms

Today, as a core industry of high value added contents, the field of game received great influences as a complex cultural technical industry of multimedia and such. Users of Mobile Web2.0 will now choose the well-made contents and this has become stronger in relation to the technical advancements of mobile platforms such as the Wibro and HSDPA. Accordingly since the year 2006, the Korea Game Industry Agency has begun a public subscription for functional games to elevate the necessity of changes in social recognition for edu-games. Although the current investment effects of edu-games are being valued relatively low in comparison to the scale, outcome and the transparency of the game industry, the created effects of the value added is very high when compared to other industries. The purpose of this study is placed in the political propositions for the edu-game investments necessary in the quality expansions of edu-game contents.

The Gaurantee of Real-Time Vital Sign Information Service Message of Patient Monitoring System in Distributed Network Systems

In this paper, we present a patient real-time vital sign information transmission system to effectively support developing real-time communication service by using a real-time object model named TMO (Time-Triggered Message-Triggered Object). Also, we describes the application environment as the PMS(Patient Monitoing System) to guarantee real-time service message with TMO structure in distributed network systems. We have to design to obtain useful vital sign information, which is generated at parsing data receiver modulor of HIS with TMO structure, that is offered by the central monitor of PMS. Vital sign informations of central monitor is composed of the raw data of several bedsite patient monitors. We are willing to maintain vital sign information of real time and continuity that is generated from the bedsite patient monitor. In the real time simulation techniques based on TMO object modeling, we have observed several advantages to the TMO structuring scheme. TMO object modeling has a strong traceability between requirement specification and design.
