Study on the Broadband RF Front-End Architecture

In this paper, we propose RF front-end architecture using hybrid conversion method to receive broadband signal. The validity is verified by design, fabrication and experiment. The proposed RF front-end architecture due to up-conversion block improves the deficiency of performance deterioration to be generated through harmonic signal and image signal conversion in the conventional RF front-end, and improves the deficiency of the complexity that is from to adopt a multiple local oscillators for the generation of wideband LO signal in the conventional RF front-end by applying the principle that tuning bandwidth is multiplied at sub-harmonic mixer. Manufactured circuits satisfy the deduced design specification and target standard with gain above 80 dB, noise figure below 6.0 dB and IIP3 performance above -5.0 dBm for the condition of the minimum gain in RF front-end.
Adaptive Noise Reduction of Speech Using Wavelet Transform

A new time adapted threshold using the standard deviations of Wavelet coefficients after Wavelet transform by frame scale is proposed. The time adapted threshold is set up using the sum of standard deviations of Wavelet coefficient in level 3 approximation and weighted level 1 detail. Level 3 approximation coefficients represent the voiced sound with low frequency and level 1 detail coefficients represent the unvoiced sound with high frequency. After reducing noise by soft thresholding with the proposed time adapted threshold, there are still residual noises in silent interval. To reduce residual noises in silent interval, a detection algorithm of silent interval is proposed. From simulation results, it can be noticed that SNR and MSE of the proposed algorithm are improved than those of Wavelet transform and than those of Wavelet packet transform.

An Efficient Shadow Removal Technique adapted to Environmental Changes

There has been a lot of research into a background separation method, which is a preprocess of a technique of automatically perceiving an invader, and the removal of shadows around a moving object in the video monitoring field. When a moving object is not clearly separated from its shadow, it is difficult to analyze the shape accurately, and it is also hard to trace its position. This study suggests how to utilize a brightness value for removing a shadow. It came from the fact that there appears to be no change of color in the shadow area relative to the background area, and there only occurs a difference in brightness. In addition, this method uses the renewal of a critical value used for the removal of shadow in the previous frame, in the next frame.
Fuzzy-Sliding-Sector Control for Chattering Reduction

Chattering phenomenon is still a large drawback of VSS. To overcome this problem, various approaches have been reported. A new notion of sliding sector has been proposed recently. In this paper, fuzzy control with time-varying boundary layer using the sliding sector theory with continued input function in the sector is proposed. This paper analyzes the stability, using Lyapunov function on the sliding sector. Computer simulation for inverted pendulum results in elimination of the chattering phenomenon.
A Study on the Modulus Multiplier Speed-up Throughput in the RSA Cryptosystem

Recently, the development of the various network method can generate serious social problems. So, it is highly required to control security of network. These problems related security will be developed and keep up to confront with anti-security field such as hacking, cracking. The way to preserve security from hacker or cracker without developing new cryptographic algorithm is keeping the state of anti-cryptanalysis in a prescribed time by means of extending key-length. In this paper, the proposed montgomery multiplication structured unit array method in carry generated part and variable length multiplication for eliminating bottle neck effect with the RSA cryptosystem. Therefore, this proposed montgomery multiplier enforce the real time processing and prevent outer cracking.
The Improvement of Adaptive Transversal Filter with Data-Recycling LMS Algorithms Convergence Speed

In this paper, an efficient signal interference control technique to improve the convergence speed of Adaptive transversal filter with LMS algorithm is introduced. The convergence characteristics of the proposed algorithm, whose coefficients are multiply adapted in a symbol time period by recycling the received data, are analyzed to prove theoretically the improvement of convergence speed. According as the step-size parameter
is increased, the rate of convergence of the algorithm is controlled. Increasing the eigenvalue spread has the effect of controlling down the rate of convergence of the adaptive equalizer and also increasing the steady-state value of the average squared error and also demonstrate the superiority of signal interference control to the filter algorithm increasing convergence speed by (B+1) times due to the data-recycling LMS Algorithms.
ICU Real-Time Sign Information Transmission System using TMO in Distributed Network Systems

The TMO may contain two types of methods, time-triggered methods(also called the spontaneous methods of SpMs) which are clearly separated from the conventional service methods (SvMs). The SpM executions are triggered upon design time whereas the SvM executions are triggered by service request message from clients. In this paper, we describes the application environment as the patient monitor telemedicine system with TMO structure. Vital sign information web viewer systems is also the standard protocol for medical image and transfer. We have to design to obtain useful vital sign information, which is generated at parsing data receiver modulor of HIS with TMO structure, that is offered by the central monitor of ICU. In order to embrace new technologies as telemedicine service, it is important to develope the standard protocol between different systems in the hospital, as well as the communication with external hospital systems.

Energy-Efficient Hierarchical Cluster-Based Routing for Ubiquitous Sensor Networks

A cluster-based routing with a hierachical structure for continuous query stream ubiquitous sensor network is proposed in this paper. the proposed method realizes high energy-efficiency by using a head-set instead of head for transmitting node-messages to a base station. By using head-set, the method make network lifetime increased.
