Due to the improvement in PC performance and the development of computer graphics technology, high quality computer animation in various industrials is on the rise. This study suggests pivot interpolation to realize the process of expressing dynamic and natural motion of fish, the key of expressing the ocean landscape through the morphing technique. By applying fish tail motion, this study solves unnatural speed of the previous morphing technique and realizes the realistic swimming way without simple motion.
A study on the visualization of the sound field by using GPGPU

In order to visualize the transfer of sound waves, we performed real-time processing with the fast operating system of GPU, the Graphics Processing Unit. Simulation by using the method of the discrete Huygens' model was also implemented. The sound waves were visualized by varying the real-time processing, the reflecting surfaces within the two-dimensional virtual sound field, and the states of the sound source. Experimental results have shown that reflection and diffraction patterns for the sound waves were identified at the reflecting objects.

In this paper, we propose intelligent SAN(Ship Area Network) which is reliable transmission by integration of optical network of wire communication and Zigbee of wireless communication. We also implement module for remote control and constitute, managing for a various sensors and a controllers which are connected SAN integration network It will be help to prevent accident of ship to monitor work environment, real time monitoring of a equipment and main compartment of a poor ship inside. And it will be also available to enhance labor reduction, sailing safety and sailing economical efficiency of ship inside.
Comparison of confidence intervals for testing probabilities of a system

When testing systems that incorporate probabilistic behavior, it is necessary to apply test inputs a number of times in order to give a test verdict. Interval estimation can be used to assert the correctness of probabilities where the selection of confidence interval is one of the important issues for quality of testing. The Wald interval has been widely accepted for interval estimation. In this paper, we compare the Wald interval and the Agresti-Coull interval for various sizes of samples. The comparison is carried out based on the test pass probability of correct implementations and the test fail probability of incorrect implementations when these confidence intervals are used for probability testing. We consider two-sided confidence intervals to check if the probability is close to a given value. Also one-sided confidence intervals are considered in the comparison in order to check if the probability is not less than a given value. When testing probabilities using two-sided confidence intervals, we recommend the Agresti-Coull interval. For one-sided confidence intervals, the Agresti-Coull interval is recommended when the size of samples is large while either one of two confidence intervals can be used for small size samples.
A Searching Algorithm for Shortest Path in RCR Network

RCR network is a topology for interconnection networks having many desirable properties for building scalable parallel machines. This had been analyzed by Hu and Cao to deal with problems of disconnected graph, bisection width and diameter. We analyze some properties of RCR again and revise the condition for connected graph and network diameter. And we present an efficient algorithm for finding next node on a shortest path.
Design and Implementation of a Paper Submission Management System Using Domain Object Interface and Object Oriented Design Patterns

Recently, the interest on object oriented design patterns has been increased considering to reusability of software and efficiency of maintenance expense in designing software architecture. In this paper, we design the paper submission management system applicable to specific domain using domain object interface based on object oriented design patterns, and then implement it with Java and XML. The proposed system applies method of implementation by assemblying each system objects with upward after system entire architecture design by combining properly downward method and upward method and applies with GoF Design pattern. As well as, we convert domain data of system into the form of various persistent objects through XML, and minimize the complexity of system by not adopting method that generates domain object as in Class with automatic. Finally, the implementation of our system can be used in general C/S environment, but we implement system user GUI using the XSLT built in general web browser in consideration for user convenience and consistency.
Language Education System with Structured Programming

Computer programs are required from all areas in society including machine, space, aviation, and medicine. However, the programming curriculum is getting hard despite a lot of teaching materials and video lessons. Programming languages are very diverse, but most of them use the same structure, and they only have different expression methods. Therefore, if one learns one programming language, then it doesn't need to spend a lot of time and efforts to learn another programming langue. Most programming languages use the structure of sequence, selection, and repletion in general. The important thing for programming learners is the structure or algorithm of programming not the grammar of program. This study designed and implemented the language learning system to learn structured programming by using a flowchart.
Adaptive Watermarking Method using Watermark Detection Rate

This paper proposes an adaptive video watermarking algorithm according to bit detection rate of watermark in MPEG2 system. The watermark strength is adaptively applied as BER(bit error rate) of watermark extracted from decoded frame for motion compensation. Watermark insertion uses a frequency spread spectrum method. A realtime watermark extraction is done directly in the DCT domain during MPEG decoding. The experimental simulations show that PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio) results 31.5dB for a fixed watermark strength and 33.dB for an adaptive watermark strength. Also average BER is 0.126 and less than 0.2 avaliable value.
Recognition of a New Car Plate using Color Information and Error Back-propagation Neural Network Algorithms

In this paper, we propose an effective method that recognizes the vehicle license plate using RGB color information and back-propagation neural network algorithm. First, the image of the vehicle license plate is adjusted by the Mean of Blue values in the vehicle plate and two candidate areas of Red and Green region are classified by calculating the differences of pixel values and the final Green area is searched by back-propagation algorithm. Second, our method detects the area of the vehicle plate using the frequence of the horizontal and the vertical histogram. Finally, each of codes are detected by an edge detection algorithm and are recognized by error back-propagation algorithm. In order to evaluate the performance of our proposed extraction and recognition method, we have run experiments on a new car plates. Experimental results showed that the proposed license plate extraction is better than that of existing HSI information model and the overall recognition was effective.
A Direction of Convergence and Security of Smart Grid and Information Communication Network

This Study suggests security directions to reconstruct separate network of Smart Grid and information communication network as one communications system and implement Smart Grid integrated information communication network. In addition, it suggests prevention directions to prevent future cyber attacks by reorganizing network as the key three-stage network and separating TCP/IP four layers that consist of existing information communication network from Smart Grid. Moreover, it suggests the foundation for the study and the test by providing current problems of Smart Grid, weak points, and three security models. This study is meaningful to suggest development directions and situations as a technology of future-oriented electric industries, integrate attacks and preventions of TCP/IP Layers with Smart Grid, and seek for a new technology of Smart Grid and future tasks for Smart Grid information security.
Establishment of Sewage Collection Measure and Charging Automation System

In this study, our system that the volume of collected human waste in the septic tank truck is measured accurately and the fee of disposing human waste can be calculated by using measured results has been developed. The level sensor and its circuits which can measure the height of the tank, the hand-held system that can be used by workers easily and simply with micro-controller have been developed. Also, this system has been built in the receipt printing function to charge for disposal fee. Even when working on a sloping field, this system can measure the accurate collected volume of human waste in the tank using the X-Y axis angle sensor. The results of this study expect that the popular complaints that generated from human waste can be reduced, the exportation possibility of our specialized systems can acquire foreign currency.
Development of the Servo Motion Controller using Gyro Sensor

Real time coordinate conversion of vessel was realized, we developed motion control algorithm of DC Servo Motor. We made servo control circuit and PCB, also We developed the system using 3-axis Gyro Sensor based Servo Motion Controller. For ship's movement simulation, we made the ship simulator of 6 degree of freedom. With a mounted camera on developed simulator, We tested the desired ship's movement, and the desired result of error tolerance was obtained.
The Prototype-Making of a Three-Phase Power Management Device for the Industrial Switchgear

Recently, the industrial electric customers require a digital switchgear which can improve the safety and reliability of the power supply, and the quality of electric power by on-line monitoring the electric power information based on the internet under the ubiquitous environments. Accordingly, in this paper, a industrial switch-gear prototype is designed based on the power supply method of three phase, four-line type, and then a three-phase electric management module of the digital switchgear is made for industrial electric customer system. Finally, the three-phase voltage and current measuring function of the prototype is verified from real power load test.
A study of Water Level Control System

A reducing labor is a big issue in rural community due to a increasingly aging society. In this paper, the water control system for corps production with a function of automatically controls and solar energy system is developed. The water level was measured by ultrasonic sensor and water gate was controlled by using servo motor. The system had included ATmega 128 control unit for signal controls. The water level control system will be able to contribute to the aging rural society.
Performance analysis of an adaptive OFDM over an underwater acoustic channel

Such as disaster rescue in deep water, undersea exploration and monitering for environmental pollution, many applications require the acoustic communication for high data rate over underwater acoustic channel. As underwater channel is very complex and is time-varying, conventional single carrier communication has good performance. In this paper, An adaptive OFDM system is analyzed for high data rate and reliability and rubust service over UWA channels. Through the adaptive system, we show threshold switching for an adaptive algorithm.

In the high-speed packet service, next generation mobile communication system has emerged as a major feature. P2P Group Search Algorithm based on Preprocessing Search

To improve the performance of this P2P system, we are studying about that. In this study, we can improve a usability for users using P2P search system, and suggest a group search algorithm based on a preprocessing search.
A Measurement-based Quality Evaluation Scheme for Mobile VoIP Service over Wireless Broadband (WiBro) Networks

Currently the telephone service using Internet grows and the recent introduction of a smart phone is expected to accelerate the trend. In particular, considering the domestic situation that the wireless broadband (WiBro) system deployed over the nation, the telephone service over WiBro can be a solution toward its fast expansion. Unlike telephone service over a conventional telephone network or mobile network, however, internet telephone cannot guarantee it service quality, which can be severer in a wireless environment such as a WiBro network. Therefore, a more strict and systematic management for controlling the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in a more efficient way. As the first step to establish the management system, this paper proposes a scheme to manage the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro and introduces a software developed for the purpose. The developed software is installed on a user terminal and facilitates efficient service quality management by measuring the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in terms of VoIP metric, network metric, and wireless metric.
A Study on Obstacle Avoid Method and Synchronization of multi chaotic robot for Robot Formation Control based on Chaotic Theory

In this paper, we propose the mathematical algorithm for collision avoidance between the robots and for the obstacle avoidance during the operation of the several chaotic robotics. For the useful formation control and as one of the method to provide command structure of communication between the robots, we also propose the synchronization method between the robotic system and confirmed the result with the computer simulation.
Design on the Controller of Flexible Robot using Sliding Sector Control

When a flexible arm is rotated by a motor about an joint axis, transverse vibration may occur. The motor torque should be controlled in such a way that the moter rotates by a specified angle, while simultaneously stabilizing vibration of the flexible arm so that it is arrested at the end of rotation. In this paper, the dynamic model of flexible robot arm is modeled by using Bernoulli-Euler beam theory and Lagrange equation. Nonlinear control with hysteresis deadzone using the sliding sector theory with continued input function in the sector is proposed.
Method to Reduce the Time when Identifying RFID Tag by using Computational Grid

RFID is core technology to lead ubiquitous computing, and attract the notice of the world. It also improves social transparency, creates employment, and invigorates the allied industries. However, The technical characteristic with RFID has some problems with security and privacy. The commercialization of RFID is delayed due to these problems. This paper introduces the technical method to find solutions about an invasion of privacy to be due to introduce RFID system. First, this method applies Hash-Chain proposed by M. Ohkubo and some other researchers. The more tags increase, the more it demands lots of computation time. We divide SPs equally to solve these problems. And then, We'll suggest solutions to shorten the identification time of tag by implementing SPs with multi nodes of Grid environment at the same time. This makes it possible to keep the privacy protection of RFID tag, and process RFID tag in real time at the same time.
