A Differential Colpitts-VCO Circuit Suitable for Sub-1V Low Phase Noise Operation

This paper proposes a differential Colpitts-VCO circuit suitable for low phase noise oscillation at the sub-1V supply voltage. Oscillation with low phase noise at the sub-1V supply voltage is facilitated by employing inductors as the current sources of the proposed circuit. One of the two feedback capacitors of the single-ended Colpitts oscillator in the proposed circuit is replaced with the MOS varactor in order to further reduce the resonator loss. Post-layout simulation results using a
RF CMOS technology show that the phase noises at the 1MHz offset frequency of the proposed circuit oscillating at the sub-1V supply voltages of 0.6 to 0.9 V are at least 7 dBc/Hz lower than those of the well-known cross-coupled differential VCO.

Games gave the calculation method for the crosscorrelation function of a Kasami sequence and a No sequence that have been generated by the same primitive polynomial. In this paper, we calculate the crosscorrelation function of a Kasami sequence and a No sequence that have been generated by the same primitive polynomial with the periodic crosscorrelation function of two base sequences. Our method is different from the Games's method.
Node Monitoring Algorithm with Piecewise Linear Function Approximation for Efficient LDPC Decoding

In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm for reducing the complexity of LDPC code decoding by using node monitoring (NM) and Piecewise Linear Function Approximation (NP). This NM algorithm is based on a new node-threshold method, and the message passing algorithm. Piecewise linear function approximation is used to reduce the complexity for more. This algorithm was simulated in order to verify its efficiency. Simulation results show that the complexity of our NM algorithm is reduced to about 20%, compared with thoes of well-known method.
Analysis and Simulation of Signal Acquisition of GPS Software Receiver

In this paper, for a software-based Global Positioning System receiver (SGR), the principle capturing Global Positioning System (GPS) signal is researched extensively in order to analyze the processing of the GPS raw data signal at the lowest level, and the process of capturing the GPS signal was simulated by Matlab. The simulation results show the accuracy and the feasibility of this method, which is comparable to study under a true environment. We know that the improvement of the receiving facilities is of very vital significance to the performance of this system, and the fine frequency can be found through comparing phases within a few tens of Hertz.
Classification of Consonants by SOM and LVQ

In an effort to the practical realization of phonetic typewriter, we concentrate on the classification of consonants in this paper. Since many of consonants do not show periodic behavior in time domain and thus the validity for Fourier analysis of them are not convincing, vector quantization (VQ) via LBG clustering is first performed to check if the feature vectors of MFCC and LPCC are ever meaningful for consonants. Experimental results of VQ showed that it's not easy to draw a clear-cut conclusion as to the validity of Fourier analysis for consonants. For classification purpose, two kinds of neural networks are employed in our study: self organizing map (SOM) and learning vector quantization (LVQ). Results from SOM revealed that some pairs of phonemes are not resolved. Though LVQ is free from this difficulty inherently, the classification accuracy was found to be low. This suggests that, as long as consonant classification by LVQ is concerned, other types of feature vectors than MFCC should be deployed in parallel. However, the combination of MFCC/LVQ was not found to be inferior to the classification of phonemes by language-moded based approach. In all of our work, LPCC worked worse than MFCC.

End-to-End Performance of VoIP Traffics over Large Scale MANETs

In this paper, End-to-End VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) performance over large scale MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) is evaluated. VoIP implementation model, which can be used for large scale MANET, is suggested through this evaluation. VoIP simulator based on NS-2 network simulator is used for performance measurement. Call connection ratio as a connection performance, MOS and network delay as a transmission performance, packet loss rate as other performance is measured with this simulation. Finally, maximum
as a single MANET, 500 nodes and 100 call connections is suggested for VoIP implementation and operation conditions over large scale MANETs.
Software-based Quality Measurement of Mobile VoIP Services

The mobile internet telephony service rapidly grows according to the extending deployment of smartphones. Unlike telephony service over a conventional public switched telephone network (PSTN) or mobile network, internet telephony service cannot guarantee its service quality, which can be severer in a wireless environment. Therefore, a more strict and systematic quality management is required for successful settlement and popularization of mobile internet telephony service. Existing quality management scheme using a specific measurement equipment cannot measure all the time so that it performs late management. In order to overcome the problem, this paper develops a software that can be equipped on a user terminal and measures the service quality all the time. By using the developed software, all-time and user-activating service quality monitoring can be supported.
Wavelet Transform Coding for Image Communication

In this paper, a new method for effective video coding is studied. Picture set filter is proposed for preserving compression ratio and video quality. This filter controls the compression ratio of each frame depending on the correlation to the reference frame by selectively eliminating less important high-resolution areas. Consequently, video quality can be preserved and bit rate can be controlled adaptively. In the simulation, to test the performance of the proposed coding method, comparisons with the full search block matching algorithm and the differential image coding algorithm are made. In the former case, video quality, compression ratio and encoding time is improved. In the latter case, video quality is degraded, but compression ratio and encoding time is improved. Consequently, the proposed method shows a reasonably good performance over existing ones.
A Study on the Communicative Aesthetics in UCC New Media Art

Today the new social and cultural area is generated by development of digital media and internet. Especially UCC is the new cultural area of this time, UCC is applicated and delivered the individual image and contents by digital equipment. This research tried to study the communication esthetics with the relation of a user. And it study about the function of the media communication, the cultural possibility, the value by art of UCC. From now I have not to see the UCC media technology the level of technical limit and we see it variously the level of cultural and artistic. I study the meaning of them and try the analysis. And I will study about the communication between the individual and the community. And I will study also the short aspect and the synthesize aspect of digital network, and how possible the realization of free culture. And I will analyse the meaning and system of UCC contents that product and copy today and then I will suggest that contribute the UCC culture development.
Establishment of Web-based Remote Monitoring System for Greenhouse Environment

This paper proposes a remote monitoring system, which manages crops' growth environment on a real-time basis by applying to greenhouses Green U-IT technology connecting environment control equipment such as temperature sensors, soil sensors, and moisture censors with computers. Information on greenhouses' environment is stored in a database, and by utilizing linear regression analysis and differential item functioning (DIF) analysis, optimal information on growth and environment is extracted from stored information in the form of items desired by users, and compared, analyzed, and monitored. By linking greenhouse environment control system with web environment and remotely controlling the system, users do not need to visit farmland and can remotely control greenhouses' environment on a real-time basis. Therefore farmhouses' production efficiency may be enhanced by continuously providing optimal growth environment for plants.
Automatic Recognition and Performance of Printed Musical Sheets Using Fuzzy ART

Musical sheet recognition is an emerging area as the role of computers in music increases. Although there are several well-known programs for composition, they have a limitation in that they cannot edit or play music generated from other programs. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can read, recognize, and play music using printed sheets. The proposed algorithm first removes lines using horizontal histogram and extracts symbols. The symbols belong to one of the three categories; notes, rests, and other signs. Notes are recognized using the context information and rests and signs are recognized using a fuzzy ART algorithm. The proposed algorithm were applied to 50 pages of musical sheets and the experimental results showed that it is effective in automatic recognition of musical sheets.
On the Security of Cryptosystems Based on Imaginary Quadratic Class Semigroups

In this paper, we propose a new discrete logarithm problem(DLP) based on the class semigroups of imaginary quadratic non-maximal orders using the special character of non-invertible ideal and analysis its security. To do this, we first explain the mathematical background explicitly and prove some properties of Cls (O) which relate to constructing the DLP and guaranteeing the security. To test the security of the proposed DLP, we compare the class number of the maximal order with that of the non-maximal order and investigate the unique factorization problems of ideals between class groups of the maximal orders and class semigroups of non-maximal orders to ensure the security of the cryptosystem.
Attack using Phase Shifts of Shrunken Sequence

Pseudo-random sequences with high linear complexity and low correlation function values are widely used in communication and cryptology. In this paper, we study the properties of interleaved sequences generated by shrinking generator. And we give a method for obtaining the shrunken sequence from a partial description of the shrunken sequence by using the phase shifting of PN sequences generated by shrinking generator.
A Study on Casino Embezzlement Incident Analysis and Forensic Investigation Technology

Embezzlement incident of staff at the casino occurred. Staff of some casinos have lower job satisfaction, moral gap is seriously considering a change jobs. In addition, cash lure of large amounts and a lack of money management system causes embezzlement incident. In this paper, the uniqueness of the casino industry and that employee job satisfaction is investigated. Content analysis of occurrence for casino embezzlement incident and tracking that bank account and bank check, suspect's call list, and so on that digital forensic investigation technology will be studied. Problems and solutions suggest that conducted a loss prevention program, a digital forensics technology and introduce of investigator. Through this study, the computerization of the casino business to embezzlement accident prevent will contribute to that give back profits of property to society, the develop of forensic investigation technology.

In this paper, proposed client virtualization technology to minimize degradation of the local computing environment, efficient and qualified users in the area of virtual functions needed to enable the user to provide important information in the local computing environment protection and performance, stability and continuity was important to keep. As well as the local computing environment from malicious code attacks such as methods for protecting virtualized domain also can not be overlooked as a major problem area in a virtualized, virtualized data through the encryption of user-space security, maximized. In addition, through virtualization using local computing resources efficiently while still a local computing system separate from the computing resources to a single user can get the same effect.
Design of Charge Pump Circuit with VCO

For programming such as writing or erasing of the flash memory, two different kinds of high voltage are required, and the charge pump circuit has been used for this. The charge pump circuit proposed in this paper uses the VCO to adjust the clock frequency in order to match the reference voltage approved from the outside and the charge pump's output. Accordingly, I suggest a circuit that can produce a predictable output, regardless of not only an error by fabrication but also MOSFET's body effect generated in each part of the charge pump.
Hull Structure Design of a small scale Oceanographic Buoy

Hull design for a small scale Oceanographic buoy will be introduced in this paper. The hull structure design, the connection methods between all parts will be discussed. We mainly introduce a design process of this buoy hull. We use walls with two layers and a radial bone structure to support the body to increase overall intensity and capacity to resist impact.
A Study of Construction method of installing High-Voltage Lead-in

The construction method in electrical room with hydro power generation is well informed in drawings and according to this method, to master the actual working conditions. It's necessary to consult location of KEPCO liability threshold with the KEPCO side, therefore make a decision to install the underground cable in hydro power station in each state, including outdoor pipes and manholes. Undulating rigid polyethylene conduit (125C) and CNCV-W extra high cable are laid and installed, to make a closely analysis to the construction by reviewing its process. In this work, the key part of the KEPCO power system for House of Commons is actually based on liability threshold, even including outdoors pipeline construction, high voltage underground electrical wiring and switchgear installation. It directly reveals the contents of the proposed construction methods about Housing Corporation and the High Voltage Switchgear Installation Inlet.
The Design of Operating System on Wind Power Plant

Recently, the more demand of reusable energy is globally increasing, the nationwide industry of wind power plants is more thriving. However, the level of native technology for operating wind power plants falls behind advanced countries. Thus, the most of management systems for wind power plants should be imported from the advanced countries. Additionally, advanced countries, which have possessed the controllable skills and consummate operating knowhow over decades, are blockading other countries which want to enter the market of wind power plants, and lead markets. This paper designs a prototype of HMI(Human Machine Interface) system which can effectively control and manage wind power plants.
A Study on RT Component Implementation for Cooperation Robot of 7 Degree of Freedom Manipulator using RT Middleware

In this paper, we make a RT component as a configuration element of cooperation robot of 7 degree of freedom manipulator using RTM which was adapted international standardization among the robot middleware technology. We implemented the one system by connecting the RT component of elements of a robot organize to each other based on middleware network and tested an operation of implemented system using the 7 degree of freedom manipulator which was real made.
Implementing Autonomous Navigation of a Mobile Robot Integrating Localization, Obstacle Avoidance and Path Planning

This paper presents an implementation of autonomous navigation of a mobile robot indoors. It explains methods for map building, localization, obstacle avoidance and path planning. Geometric map is used for localization and path planning. The localization method calculates sensor data based on the map for comparison with the real sensor data. Monte Carlo Localization(MCL) method is adopted for estimation of the robot position. For obstacle avoidance, an artificial potential field generates repulsive and attractive force to the robot. Dijkstra algorithm plans the shortest distance path from a start position to a goal point. The methods integrate into autonomous navigation method and implemented for indoor navigation. The experiments show that the proposed method works well for safe autonomous navigation.
