A Study on The Acceptance of Communication for People through Smart Phone

This study was to examined the acceptance of communication for people through smart phone focused users of smart phone. The results were as follows. First, smart phone's mobility influenced positively on attitude toward the transmission of government policy. smart phone's personal appropriateness influenced positively on awareness toward the transmission of government policy and usefulness toward the transmission of government policy. And smart phone's usefulness influenced positively on usefulness toward the transmission of government policy. Second, smart phone's ease of use influenced positively on awareness toward the transmission of government policy. smart phone's security influenced negatively on awareness, usefulness, attitude toward the transmission of government policy. smart phone's connectivity influenced positively on awareness toward the transmission of government policy. Third, usefulness and attitude toward the transmission of government policy through smart phone influenced positively on acceptance intention.
Comparison of Normalized Site Attenuation on Finite Ground Plane

The extent of a rectangular conducting plane for measuring electromagnetic interference is discussed. Mutual coupling between the transmit and receive antennas is negligible, the effects of the ground plane on the normalized site attenuation(NSA) are considered by applying GTD(Geometric theory of diffraction). The calculation was done for the case that measuring distance(d) was 3 m for both horizontal and vertical polarizations. As the result, the size of the rectangular ground plane almost never affects upon NSA for horizontal polarization, but for vertical case, when both width and length of the rectangular plane are several times as long as distance, the effects of the edges are reduced under 1 dB.
Video Flame Detection with Periodicity Analysis Based False Alarm Rejection

A video flame detection method analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics of the regions which have the flame-like color and moving objects in the input video. The video flame detector should be able to reduce a false alarm rate without the degradation of flame detection capability. The conventional methods can reject the false alarm caused by the car lights and some electric lights. However they make the false alarm caused by the warning lights, neon sign, and some periodic flickering lights which have the flame-like color and temporal features. This paper propose the video flame detection method with periodicity analysis based false alarm rejection. The proposed method can detect the periodicity of the flickering electric lights and can reject the false alarm caused by the periodic electric lights. The computer simulation showed that the proposed method did not make the false alarm in the test video with the periodic electric lights. But the conventional methods made a false alarm in the same test video.
A Buffer Size-based Retransmission Persistence Control for ARQ Protocols

This paper proposes a retransmission persistence control scheme for automatic retransmit request (ARQ) protocol to improve the reliability of a wireless link. Most existing ARQ protocols adopt a fixed retransmission persistence. If the ARQ protocol sets the retransmission persistence too low, there is a limitation in providing transmission reliability. On the other hand, if the ARQ protocol sets the retransmission persistence too high, it increases transmission delay and jitter. In order to figure out the problem, the proposed scheme considers the number of frames in the buffer in controlling the retransmission persistence; it improves the throughput of ARQ protocol by increasing the retransmission persistence when the number of frames is small and decreasing otherwise. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme decreases the transmission delay and jitter significantly comparing to the existing schemes.
Performance of VoIP Traffics over MANETs under DDoS Intrusions

In this paper, Transmission performance over MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) under DDoS Intrusions is evaluated. Intrusion counterplan requirement, which have to be used for MANET under DDoS intrusions, is suggested through this evaluation. VoIP simulator based on NS-2 network simulator is used for performance measurement. MOS, network delay, packet loss rate and call connection rate is measured with this simulation. Finally, requirement of intrusion continuing time shorter then 10 seconds is suggested for VoIP service over MANETs under DDoS intrusions.
Study on the coding rule of Characters by 1 byte of 3×4 bits with consideration for the transmission efficiency of data communications

This paper propose the rule of coding for the characters and symbol, etc which are used in computer, information devices, etc. When they use the rule of coding, they may improve the efficiency of transmission in data communications by reducing the number of scrambling during the line coding in the coder in the transmitter. The paper considered the codes of one byte of 3bits column
4bits rows. ASCII code is one of the representative code for the codes of one byte of 3bits column
4bits rows. Therefore, this paper applied ASCII code to study the coding rule of the characters and symbols, etc.
The Implement of Intelligent Home Network System on Smart Phone

Home network system makes it available for controlling inside home and for controlling from outside as well with personal computer, cellular phone or smart phone, by connecting diverse information equipments within home such as lighting, gas, and heating equipments with network. Integrated server and wall-pad, which form home network system, have demerits as saying of being high-priced and of needing to implement network infrastructure. This study suggested the intelligent home network system, which uses smart phone of supplementing these merits of home network system. It substituted high-specification input & output equipment in the currently and widely supplied smart phone for display and touch screen, which are user interface part of the existing wall-pad, and implemented the common wall-pad with low cost by concentrating management and control function of home network on smart phone.
A Study on the Educational Interactive Globe System using Physical Computing

Recently, the development of computing technology and experiential content for the increased interest in education and cultural facilities to target children and young people experience learning and experiential entertainment systems require a high propensity to invest and are. In this paper, for the 13.56MHz band RFID Reader and Tag RFID technology using the proposed interactive educational globe. Active tags attached to sensors attached to the globe were presented in the RFID reader, arduino and sensors in conjunction with Google Earth COM API was constructed through the physical computing educational system.
An Automated Projection Welding System using Vision Processing Technique

Conventional projection welding systems suffer from lots of defective products caused by manual handling. In this paper, we introduce a projection welding system that performs automatic identification, welding and counting of components and products. The proposed system checks the existence and identifies placement of components to be welded by a vision camera. After welding of the components, it automatically updates product counts and dressing items. We show that the proposed welding system can reduce the defect rate and improve the productivity through experimental test with a existing system.
Water-well Management Data Modeling using UML 2.0 based in u-GIS Environment

Many of the wells which were constructed to use ground water resource are abandoned and not managed efficiently after its use. And a variety of heavy metals and organic compounds are released from the abandoned wells and this can cause ground water pollution. Therefore in this paper implemented to monitor locational information drill holes and underground water sensing information on real time basis using u-GIS environment to combined ubiquitous sensor node and GIS technology to improve these problems. In addition, this system suggests using system by UML 2.0 by analyzing variety requirement of user and between system internal modules interaction and data flow. It provides graphical user interfaces (GUI) to system users to monitor water-well related property information and its managements for each water-well at remote site by variety platform by GIS map and web environment and mobile device based on smart phone.
A Study on the Role of Computer-Added Stenography in Scientific Investigation

The revision of the criminal procedure act in 2008 marked a great turnaround in the criminal trial system in our country, and the criminal trial system has been based on the trial priority principle from then on. People in general have been entitled to participate in criminal trials, which can be called the jury system, and their awareness of the law has consequently been taken to another level. And the principle of trial by evidence that requires fair process, explanation and scientific evidence is realized in a manner to be appropriate at people(jury)'s level. The prosecution was introduced a video recording system to ensure the efficiency of scientific criminal investigation and assisted every prosecutor's office across the nation to hire computer-added stenographers to back up the documentation of statements during video recording. The purpose of this study was to examine the Korean and foreign computer-added stenography systems and the prospect of computer-added stenography of the video recording system that has been utilized to make a scientific investigation. The effort by this study to look into the roles and prospect of computer-added stenography in the video recording system that has been introduced to improve the efficiency of scientific investigation, which the prosecution pursues, is expected to expedite the advancement of criminal investigation, to guarantee the protection of human rights and to shed new light on the importance and status of computer-added stenography in the trial priority principle.
Design of Binary Sequences with Optimal Cross-correlation Values

Balanced binary sequences of period
having the two-valued autocorrelation function have many applications in spread-spectrum communications system. In this paper we propose new nonlinear binary sequences which are constructed from Legendre sequences with the same cross-correlation as the sequences proposed by Cho. These sequences include the m-sequences, GMW sequences, Kasami sequences and No sequences which are described in terms of the trace function over a finite field. Also the proposed sequences have more low cross-correlation distribution than the quadratic form sequences proposed by Klapper.

The smart grid is an intelligent electric power network in which a digital communication network is integrated into the existing electric power system. This enhances the efficiency of the electric use by supplying and controlling the electric power through the two-way communication between the utility and the electric customer. In this paper, to support the smart grid, a computer-based solution which collects the three-phase electric power data based on the LPT Communication is designed, and then its prototype is made.
3D GIS system using the CCTV camera

In this paper, we propose the geographic information systems that is able to build geographic information effectively by creating 3D topography after extraction surrounding terrain information through the video shooting in the CCTV camera. We also propose tracing method for object recognized through the video shooting of camera and recognition method which is whether or not the terrain change according to success or not of tracing the object. We apply this method in the industry field we can build a geographic information close to the actual terrain, but also can be used for security, surveillance and tracking system.
Study on Estimating New Apartment Sales Price Using Transaction price

The purpose of the study is aimed at estimating the reasonable price and forecasting the sales rate of the new apartment, using transaction data of the existing apartment that is close to perfectly competitive markets. In the present paper, therefore, attempts were made to determine the relationship between the existing apartment market and the new housing market. Also conducted an empirical analysis that complemented the problems of precedent studies.

Multi-sensor Data Fusion Using Weighting Method based on Event Frequency

A wireless sensor network needs to consist of multi-sensors in order to infer a high level of information on circumstances. Data fusion, in turn, is required to utilize the data collected from multi-sensors for the inference of information on circumstances. The current paper, based on Dempster-Shafter's evidence theory, proposes data fusion in a wireless sensor network with different weights assigned to different sensors. The frequency of events per sensor is the crucial element in calculating different weights of the data of circumstances that each sensor collects. Data fusion utilizing these different weights turns out to show remarkable difference in reliability, which makes it much easier to infer information on circumstances.
A Home Automation system based on Smart phone

Smart Home or Home Network technology is one that continuously creates added value, making a better life. This paper designed and developed a smart home control system using smart phone. This proposed smart home system consists of home server control system, remote smart application system and home node structure. Home node structure, in detail, is composed of intrusion detection, gas leakage or gas valve control, door lock, automatic curtain, ventilation control and On/Off control modules and these modules are controlled at home server. Home server makes it easy to control home automatic control system anytime, anywhere as it provides remote interface that enables control via smartphone and user interface in itself.
The Implementation of Smart Raising Environment Management System based on Sensor Network and 3G Telecommunication

This study proposed the system to automatically control the optimized raising environment for vegetation, raised in an equipment house, in which u-IT agricultural technology concept was applied. The system consists of environment sensors such as temperature, humidity, etc., biosensors such as EC, PH, etc., and requested automatic control devices, in which they were automatically controlled by the software system. The system is established in client systems, installed in each equipment house and the server system, collecting data from each client system as well. In addition, the system collects each farmer's data through the Internet and 3G network. In this phase, collected raising environment data comes to be analyzed in order to find out the optimized vegetation raising environment, finally, which is visualized and used for consulting each farmer.
