Design and Fabrication of Monopole Antenna with Three Branch Strips and Rectangular Slit Ground for WLAN/WiMAX Applications

A planar monopole antenna that was developed for WLAN/WiMAX application is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna with three strips, an asymmetrical ground plane, and a rectangular slit in the ground is designed to cover the popular frequency spectrum of WLAN (wireless local area network) bands and WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) bands. The proposed antenna, which is capable of wideband operation, is fed by a strip line and fabricated on an FR-4 substrate. The obtained numerical results agree well with the experiment data. It was validated that the configuration can meet the demands for the WLAN/WiMAX systems and effectively enhanced the impedance bandwidth to 9.95% for the lower band and 76.05% for the upper band for VSWR < 1 : 2. This paper also presents and discusses the 2D radiation patterns and 3D gains according to the results of the experiment.
Analysis of Optimum Impedance for X-Band GaN HEMT using Load-Pull

In this paper, we analysed performance for on-wafer GaN HEMT using load-pull in X-band, and studied optimum impedance point based on analysis result. We suggested method of optimum performance device by analysis of optimum impedance for solid state device on-wafer condition before packaging. Construction and Measurement of a T-DMB/GPS/Mobile Antenna for Vehicular Application

This paper presents the design of a novel integrated T-DMB/GPS/Mobile antenna for vehicular application. The T-DMB antenna is designed with a modified meander-type microstrip patch providing linearly a polarized broadside radiation pattern. The GPS antenna is designed with an inserted slot in the patch antenna providing circularly polarized broadside radiation pattern. The Mobile (GSM, AMPS, DCS, PCS, UMTS, etc.) antenna is designed as a modified G-type patch antenna providing multi-band operation. Experimental results indicate that the impedance bandwidth (VSWR 1:2.5) of the proposed T-DMB /GPS/Mobile antenna satisfactorily matches that of the simulation results. The 2D and 3D radiation patterns and gains according to the results of the experiment are also presented and discussed.
Distance Estimation Between Vanishing Point and Moving Object

In this paper, a new technique to estimate the distances between a vanishing point and moving objects is proposed. A vanishing point for an input image is estimated and it use to extract distance form the vanishing point to a moving object. Using the obtained distances, moving objects is extracted. In simulation results, several performances for a test image sequnce is shown.

Probabilistic model for bio-cells information extraction

This study is a numerical representative modelling analysis for applying the process that unravels networks between cells in genetics to Network of informatics. Using the probabilistic graphical model, the insight from the data describing biological networks is used for making a probabilistic function. Rather than a complex network of cells, we reconstruct a simple lower-stage model and show a genetic representation level from the genetic based network logic. We made probabilistic graphical models from genetic data and extend them to genetic representation data in the method of network modelling in informatics.
Study on the ASCII Code in the side of the Transmission Efficiency in Data Communications

This paper proposes the revised ASCII code. The study started with consideration whether the ASCII code is proper or not in the side of the transmission efficiency in data communications. In data communications, when the consecutive "0" bits from the information devices input into the line coder, its consecutive "0" bits are scrambled to the predetermined patterns not to the consecutive "0" signal. The paper used to study with the statistical data for the frequency of the letters of the alphabets and the proposed rule of characters coding in reference. As a result of the study, when the proposed ASCII code is applied, the operation efficiency of the scrambler in the line coder is improved upto average 30%.
Effecient Prefetching Scheme for Hybrid Hard Disk

The Competitiveness of Hybrid hard disk drive(H-HDD) for solid state disk(SSD) comes from both lower power consumption and higher reading speed. This paper suggests a prefetching scheme that can improve the performance of Non-Volatile cache(NVCache) memory installed on the H-HDD through prefetching disk blocks as well as files to the NVCache. The proposed scheme makes the highly used data such as booting files copy to the NVCache as an unit of file and the frequently accessed blocks copy to the NVCache. This prefetching is done on the idle time of disk queue and the priorities of prefetched target blocks are based on both time and spatial locality of blocks. Experiments results show that the suggested method can improve response time of H-HDD and also lower the power consumption.
A Study on the Realization of Diskless and Stateless Security Policy Based High-speed Synchronous Network Infrastructure

Among the network information services combined with a number of security technologies and required security policies, Infrastructure as a Service, a hardware plat-form service of Cloud Computing, has been provided since 2011. It is more or less similar to the existing central concentration method services, in terms of the specifications and technical aspects for given hardware category, but it is entirely different from them in that it overcomes the spatial limitations of specific network and targets the public network. Information security technology has also been prospering so that it could ensure the stability of offered hardware plat-forms. As currently supported hardware, Internet Data Center has been provided by virtualizing the previously offered servers and discs (backup discs), but the hardware plat-forms offered are somewhat limited. Meanwhile, the areas of security fields for offered services are confined to the center or include the TCP/IP-based SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for the public network connected with clients, which shows that microscopic access security policies have been used. Therefore, this study was aimed to provide a realistic security mechanism for realizing defense policy, by expanding service areas into security devices and suggesting Diskless and Stateless security policy based high-speed synchronous network infrastructure.
A Study on Influence of Korea-EU FTA Ratification upon Legal Service and Forensic Investigation

Korea-EU FTA, which came to an agreement in April of 2007, was resolved at the National Assembly in May of 2011, thereby having been concluded the ratification. As for the procedure of opening a market in legal service according to settlement and ratification of Korea-EU FTA, Step 1 is allowed the establishment of representative office(law firm with foreign-law consultation) at home by EU member countries' law firms. Step 2 is made available for law firm with foreign-law consultation to jointly handle and distribute profits as for a case that is mixed the domestic law firm and the domestic & foreign laws. Step 3 is allowed EU member countries' law firm to establish a joint venture with domestic law firm. This study researches into a change and influence upon legal service and forensic investigation according to Korea-EU FTA ratification. Also, it researches into position and prospect that digital forensic evidence, which possesses the majority of legal evidences, takes up in the middle of court-oriented trials. The prediction of influence in digital evidence as professional proof upon judgment will led to being capable of coping with the opening of legal service market and of wisely preparing for the advance to domestic market by law firm of Anglo-American Law.
A Study on Grafted IT Convergence Technology of Food Court Meal System

Feed industry began to demand that beyond simple feeds to meet the needs of customers with a premium catering by economic development situation and, depending on the user's convenience and customer needs. Electrical Characteristic of PMMA Thin Film by Plasma Polymerization Method with Process Pressure and RF Substrate Bias Power

In this paper, We have fabricated PMMA thin films by plasma polymerization method for organic thin film transistor's insulator layer. In the electrical characteristic results with deposition pressures and substrate RF bias power in thin film deposition process, we have got dielectric constant of 3.4, high deposition rate of 8.6 [nm/min] and high insulation characteristics in condition of RF100 [W], Ar20 [sccm], 5 [mtorr], RF bias 20 [W]. Therefore, the fabricated thin films are possible as insulation layer of OTFT and organic memory.
A Study for economic improvement of sound image localization and dead zone using computer simulations

In this paper, most of the church except for a large church has accommodated many audience to install a balcony floor in a small space. therefore, dead zone and dislocated sound image localization is made due to this under-balcony seats. This paper propose that the problems of dead zone and dislocated sound image localization could be solved using computer simulation in the view of practical side. The economical computer simulation tool, Mapp online that can be found easily was used to the specified church. Installation a sub speaker for dead zone and -10 dB power control of the sub speaker to main speaker power for dislocated sound image localization was proposed. Computer simulation result shows that the value of definition for area was improved from "Normal" to "Very Good" which means about 52% improvement.
Chaotic Phenomena in MEMS with Duffing Equation

Recently, there are many difficult for maintenance in the power in established sensor networks. In order to solve this problems, the power development has been interested using vibration in MEMS that insert the MEMS oscillator. In this paper, we propose the MEMS system with Duffing equation to generate vibration signal that can be use power signal in MEMS and confirm and verify the chaotic behaviors in vibration signal of MEMS by computer simulation. As a verification methods, we confirm the existence of period motion and chaotic motion by parameter variation through the time series, phase portrait, power spectrum and poincare map.
A Controller Development of Water Heating in a Ceramic Pipe Using Electronics Control System

This paper presents that the electronic controller is developed for controlling the setting temperature and water in the ceramic pipe system. The heating water system is designed for controlling the temperature to supply the heat through the ceramic pipe heater to input the water, also for controlling quantity of water using the water sensor and impeller. The control method of the heating water system is applied the mathematic modeling of the ceramic pipe heater on the suppling the heat at coming water, and the test result of the electronic controller is present to smartly control the setting temperature, therefore the ceramic pipe heater is proposed to be able to apply the heating structure and the control methods as a product.
Performance Analysis of MIMO System adopting MMSE-OSUC Receiver in Fading Channel

In this paper, we simulate and evaluate the performance of MIMO systems adopting MMSE-OSUC receiver algorithm under Rayleigh fading channel environment. In the simulation, BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM modulation is used with frame length of 100 symbols. First, the concept of MIMO is introduced by the analytical basis of the channel capacity of MIMO system. From the performance analysis results, the channel capacity is identified by the function of channel and it is affected by the channel characteristic. Next, based on this approach, the algorithm for performance evaluation over MIMO channel was analyzed. From the performance analysis results, it is found that MMSE-OSUC receiver algorithm generally outperform conventional ZF-OUSC receiver algorithm in performance but the performance difference between the two algorithms is reduced as modulation scheme with larger constellation point is used.
A Study on the Psychological anxiety on Private information leakage to likelihood of internet users

The purpose of this study is to examine Internet users' psychological anxiety about the possibility of personal information leakage. The investigator examined the difference of psychological anxiety focusing on the possibility of personal information leakage according to the use amount of Internet, the number of joined sites and the frequency of e-commerce transaction. Study findings show that women felt more psychological anxiety than men did. In addition, people who used Internet more frequently felt more psychological anxiety. However, the number of joined sites and the average frequency of e-commerce transaction in a month had no significant influence upon users' psychological anxiety about the possibility of personal information leakage.

Possible Ways to Facilitate Land Banking System

Recently, ever-growing land price has caused public projects to come to considerable deadlocks. Up to date, project principals have relied upon mandatory expropriation policy or other relevant policies in order to procure land sites required for public projects in a short period, but these policies have brought about collective resistances and civil appeals from land owners and cause land compensation price to rise, resulting in delayed progress of public projects. Therefore, land banking system is enforced to resolve these issues. Successful implementation of land banking system requires purchase of sufficient land sites at affordable price so as to execute public projects and control real estate market. However, current version of Land Banking Act reveals several questions as contrary to public expectations in the days of its introduction. This study sought to make further analysis on the whole content of current legal system concerning land banking system. And based on the analysis, this study explored possible solutions for problems that hinder land banking system from its stable operations, so that this land banking system could contribute to resolving land problems by active promotion of public projects as originally intended and by the stabilization of land market based on balance control between supply and demand of land.
A Study on the Improvement of the Lien System in Real Estate Auction - Focused on the Procedural Law -

This study was intended to identify the problem of the lien in relation to the real estate auction and present its improvements in terms of procedural laws. To resolve the problem of the lien in the real estate auction, it is valid that the Vollstreckungsgericht needs to set the certain standard in relation to the possession of real estate and notify it at the first date of sale by judging whether the lien can be established. And the institutional improvement is required to obligate one to report the lien in the procedures of the real estate auction and reinforce the survey of the present condition of the lien. And it is necessary to impose the more public confidence on the statement of sale by including the matter of the lien in it. In addition, it is necessary to reinforce legal punishment to the false and fictitious lienholder and establish the legal stability of the lien in the process of the real estate auction.
Moving Object Following Control for Differential Drive Robot Based on Two Distance Sensors

This paper proposes a control method for a differential robot to track and follow a moving object based on ultrasonic sensor. To track a target object, the method uses a transmitter and two receivers to get distances from the object. The method derives translational and rotational error by the distances and then it uses the errors to calculate control values based on PID control method. The control values are used to control the robot to follow moving object. The authors do some experimentations to analyze some characteristics such as influence of PID gain, influence of translational and rotational gain. This method not only can be applied for following moving object problem but also can be done group unit control problems.
Improved Localization Algorithm for Ultrasonic Satellite System

For the measurement of absolute position of mobile robot in indoor environments, the ultrasonic positioning systems using ultrasound have been researched for several years. Most of these ultrasonic positioning systems to avoid interference between the ultrasound are used for sequential transmitting. However, due to the use of sequential transmitting, the positions of transmitter to receive an ultrasound will change when the mobile robot moves. Therefore the accuracy of positioning is reduced. In this paper, the new position estimation algorithm with weighting factor according to the time of receipt is proposed. By applying the proposed algorithm to existing Ultrasonic Satellite System(USAT), the improved USAT is configured. The positioning performance of the improved USAT with the proposed position estimation algorithm are verified by experiments.
A Study on the Implementation of Wireless Snesor Network for Managing of Briges

Most management systems that are currently in place to monitor the safety of bridges - working in conjunction with a wireless sensor network - are based on a wired infrastructure. Not only do these wired systems expensive to install, but they are expensive to replace or repair should a problem occur with the system while in operation. In an effort to address these problems, there have been many researches that attempted to use a wireless sensor network for the existing wired measurement system. However, they have been met with difficulty due to the problems of power and synchronization in actually bringing the management system to the bridges as a commercial system. This paper proposes a bridge management system based on WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) which uses wireless LAN technology. The system was tested using a testbed and when the obtained data were compared to the data collected using the existing wired counterpart it was found that they were almost the same.

A Study on the Efficient RFID Tag Identification considering Performance Information of Individual Nodes in a Grid Environment

RFID is recognized to technically occupy important position in ubiquitous computing environment and expected to create new markets in a variety of fields from now on. In order to generalize RFID system, it is required to solve the problem of privacy invasion and expedite lots of tags We suggest efficient RFID Tag Identification to identify tags quickly on the satisfaction with 3 security requirements of privacy protection in this paper. This methods are transferred to Grid environment through parallel analysis of Hash-Chain, and we measure performance of each nodes under the Grid environment. Then, We'll suggest SP-Division Algorithm to identify tags with each nodes and implement it in a Grid environment.
