microstrip patch array antenna of 5.150 - 5.350GHz for wireless LAN was investigated and analyzed after optimizing the antenna parameters. The major resource problem in sensor networks is energy efficiency. There are two major access methods to efficiently use energy. The first is to use dynamic power management (DPM). The second is to use energy efficient protocols. In DPM methods, the OS, the power manager, is responsible for managing the proper power state of CPU and each I/O with respect to the events, but the OS is not largely concerned about the internal operation of each network protocols. Also, energy efficient protocols are mainly focused on the power saving operation of the radio PHY. In addition, in wireless sensor network most of tasks are connected to communication. In such a situation, traditional power managers can waste unpredicted power. In this paper, we introduce an efficient power manger that can reduce a lot of unwanted power consumption through cooperative power management (CPM) in communication-related tasks between each units, such as radio, sensing unit, and CPU, for ad hoc wireless sensor nodes.

In this paper, a design and implemented of the data communication system on the entails inherent safety with the distress and urgency of maritime data communication services that are required for functional limitations of the existing mounting equipment and services to determine the likelihood MF/HF, VHF, Inmarsat satellite communication has a diversification of the GMDSS ship communication equipment. Proposed role and direction of the GMDSS on the communication media by the communication cost, throughput, communication speed and processing services available, communication range, etc. by conducting a performance analysis and evaluation in the future maritime communications environment.
Service Quality Criteria for Voice Services over a WiBro Network

This paper covers the service quality of packet-based voice service that is provided over a wireless broadband (WiBro) network. Using a measurement software that has been developed in the course of preparing a advanced service quality management scheme for the packet-based voice service over a wireless network, a huge scale of experiment is conducted to measure the real quality of the voice service. Based on our analysis of the measurement result, the service quality of the voice service is supposed to be quite good over WiBro networks. In addition, another experiment to investigate the effect of degradation of wireless transmission conditions on the service quality of the voice service shows the values of wireless service metris in which mean opinion score (MOS) starts to decrease.

Computer vision research area, a division of computer graphics application area that creates realistic visualization in computer, conducts vigorously researches on developing realistic 3D model or virtual environment. As the popularization and development of 3D display makes common users easy to experience a solid 3D virtual reality, the demand for virtual reality contents are increasing. This paper proposes 3D panorama system using depth point location-based depth map generation method. 3D panorama using depth map gives an effect that makes users feel staying at real place and looking around nearby circumstances. Also, 3D panorama gives free sight point for both nearby object and remote one and provides solid 3D video.

Instrumentation & Control(I&C) System in NPP(Nuclear Power Plant) plays a important role as the brain of human being, it performs protecting, controling and monitoring safety operation of NPP. Recently, the I&C system is digitalized as digital technology such as PLC, DSP, FPGA. The different aspect of digital system which use digital communication to analog system is that it has potential vulnerability to cyber threat in nature. Possibility that digital I&C system is defected by cyber attack is increasing day by day. The result of cyber attack can be adverse effect to safety function in NPP. Therefore, I&C system required cyber security counter-measures that protect themselves from cyber threat efficiently and also cyber security design should be taken into consideration at concept stage in I&C system development process. In this study, we proposed the digital asset analysis method for cyber security assessment of I&C system design in NPP and we performed digital asset analysis of I&C system by using the proposed method.
The Construction Methodology of a Rule-based Expert System using CART-based Decision Tree Method

To minimize the spreading effect from the events of the system, a rule-based expert system is very effective. However, because the events of the large-scale system are diverse and the load condition is very variable, it is very difficult to construct the rule-based expert system. To solve this problem, this paper studies a methodology which constructs a rule-based expert system by applying a CART(Classification and Regression Trees) algorithm based decision tree determination method to event case examples.
Nonlinear and Adaptive Back-Stepping Speed Control of IPMSM

In this paper, a nonlinear controller based on adaptive back-stepping method is proposed for high performance operation of IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor). First, in order to improve the performance of speed tracking a nonlinear back-stepping controller is designed. Since it is difficult to control the high performance driving without considering parameter variation, a parameter estimator is included to adapt to the variation of load torque in real time. In addition, for the efficiency of power consumption of the motor, controller is designed to operate motor with minimum current for maximum torque. The proposed controller is applied through simulation to the a 2-hp IPMSM for the angular velocity reference tracking performance and load torque volatility estimation, and to test the MTPA(Maximum Torque per Ampere) operation in constant torque operation region. The result verifies the efficacy of the proposed controller.
Input Ripple Current Formula Analysis of Multi-Stage Interleaved Boost Converter

DC-DC converter commonly used in photovoltaic systems or fuel cell systems is a boost converter. Among several types of boost converter, the interleaved boost converter with small input and output current ripples is widely used in recent years. Because of small input and output current ripples, the circuit can reduce the size of the input and output capacitors. Thus, instead of conventional electrolytic capacitor, the film capacitor with high reliability can be used and this is the life and reliability of the entire system can be improved. In this paper, the input/output current ripple formulas of the multi-stage interleaved boost converter are derived, and the characteristics in accordance with duty are found out. In order to verify the above mentioned contents, the derived results will make a comparison with the calculated values by using PSIM tool.
The Development of Torque Sensor for Electric Bicycle

As environmental pollution, global warming, and exhaustion of fossil fuel become global issue recently, there has been strong research motivation to develop green energy technology. Along the same line of motivation, some research efforts have been put into the development of environment-friendly bicycle equipped with various smart energy technologies to increase the usability of the bicycle as short-distance transportation. Among the technologies related with new generation bicycle, PAS (power assist system) is one of the most important systems that are essential in efficiently integrating human power and the electrical power supplied by electric motor driven by battery. In this paper, a novel torque sensor technology which is core component for PAS is proposed. Unlike existing technologies, strain gauges are attached to rear shaft directly under the hub bearings, which eliminates the requirement of slip-ring, Furthermore, the sensor is able to not only measure the torque transmitted to driving axle by human but also estimate the position of the gear to which the chain is currently engaged.

In this paper, age exploration of
anti-ship missiles which were deployed on RoKN ships were analysed using parametric estimation method. Additionally, Life distribution and failure pattern of
anti-ship missile were analysed by using field data such as collected inspection, fail, maintenance record for 6 years. Storage failure and MTBF of missile and components were analysed by using reliability analysis s/w Weibull++ v7. The results were compared with maintenance policy including periodic inspection and MTBF which were analysed during development phase. Finally, the suggested methodology using field data analysis of oo anti-ship missile will be applied on re-estabilishment of maintenance policy of
anti-ship missile for TLCSM(Total Life Cost System Management) effectively.
Analysis of outlet edge cogging force at the Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor According to Difference of the Winding Method

PMLSM is structurally simple and it have a lot of merits such high speed, high thrust force etc., but cogging force by slot-teeth structure of armature and cogging force by outlet edge effect occurs. This is the cause of thrust force ripple and generate the noise and vibration. Therefore, in this paper we proposed installation of an auxiliary pole to mover of the PMLSM in order to decrease cogging force by the outlet edge which came necessarily into being discontinuous arrangement of the armature. Also, outlet edge cogging force designed a form of the auxiliary pole which the minimum became, and we compared a outlet edge cogging force characteristic along a winding method of an armature as we used 2-D of finite element analysis.

This study incorporates a welder and a generator as needed while using the generator to be used as a welder is to configure the system. As such, in order to offer an integrated system to prevent the rapid charging process to manage the power state information, system configuration is the most important. Ideally, the random controls the flow of charge is ideal for that. When charging is good as long as possible, less current. However, In this study, the most ideal fusion welder and generator as required by the generator or welder can be used as a system is proposed. Specifically, the damage can be caused by carelessness, so short-circuit protection, overload protection, reverse polarity protection, automatic charging system is all about, including the ability to adjust.

Development of a Location Tracking System for Operation Management of Public Garbage Trucks

In these days, according to the enhancement of the mobile communication technologies, location based services using the location and movements are vitalized. In this paper, we develop a private vehicle tracking system for garbage truck operation management using GPS and CDMA communication and Open map interface. The terminal equipment attached in vehicle receives the GPS signals and detect the position data including time, longitude, latitude, and altitude. And the terminal sends these data to the server PC through CDMA cellular network in fixed period. The server saves these data into database to process in map server program with which we can view real-time trace of moving vehicle. We apply our system to public garbage truck managing operation and we can increase operation efficiency by examine real-time working and moving path and by present reasonable operation rout.

In this paper, we suggest a P2P system to support conveniences to choice time for users that were connected with the information of joint-buying based on social network. Social networks based on co-purchasing information and price alerts using the P2P system is provided by the peer, this relay information is provided by the P2P server.

This thesis is intended for addressing issues of the local expropriation committee system by drawing the policy suggestion through theoretical considerations on the land expropriation system of the UK and of the US, and for finding a plan to improve the system by focusing on the examples of land expropriation of local governments. The US' Takings utilize a public hearing and the jury system. When property is expropriated through eminent domain, stakeholders and citizens share the necessity of the expropriation and its awareness through a public hearing, and project institutes (administrative organizations) file a lawsuit to a law court to exercise takings. In the case of Compulsory Purchase in the UK, the system should be based on laws established by the Parliament, and the resolution to use CPO is also decided by district councils. So the system is able to prevent power abuse. As a plan to improve the land expropriation committee of local governments, it is necessary
to enhance the professionality of the local land expropriation committee,
to expropriate lands by the analysis of land type, and
to come up with alternative measures to prevent the rights of the expropriated.

Eco-friendly development is inevitable for eradicating poverty in developing countries. In order to make Eco-friendly development a worldwide movement, we have to provide education for Eco-friendly development. There are, however, many problems in achieving education for Eco-friendly development. In conducting human education, there should be a certain philosophy as a foundation. The Earth charter, which people from various countries have developed since the World Summit on Eco-friendly Development and on which they have gained an international consensus, including consensus from NGOs, should serve as a foundation to conduct education for peace, human rights and environment. In this paper, I have discussed first the loss of Sustainability, second the loss of the view that human development is the basis for education, third the decline of literacy, fourth the decline of education for women, fifth excessive emphasis on knowledge and rote learning, and sixth the deviation from quality-of-life education.
Implementation of Access Control System Based on CAN Communication

CAN communication developed for communication between electric control devices in vehicle, was recently applied to automatic breaking devices, and can also be applied to field bus for production automation. Recently, field bus is introduced in engine control etc., for large ship. In this paper, cabin access control system is implemented, based on CAN communication. The cabin access control system based on CAN communication consists of access control server, embedded system based on ARM9, and micro-controller built-in CAN controller. The access control server can be able to manage overall access control system by accessing with manager. And embedded system adopted ARM9 processor transmits access information of RFID reader controller connected with CAN networks to server, also performs access control. The embedded system carry CAN frames to server, so it is used as gateway.

This paper proposes a way to visualize the cyber space with respect to the offline space. In general, people have difficulties to understand the cyber space since it is not tangible and not visible. In businesses, both spaces depend on identical proposition of "salse of merchandise goods to customers". Here, 3 merchandise elements of "customers", "merchandise goods" and "salse" in the cyber space are compared to them in the offline spaces in order to visualize the cyber space in terms of businesses.

The development of module for measurement and wireless communication of SpO2/PPG signals

In this paper, the module for measuring SpO2 and PPG(Photo Plethysmo Graphy) signal of human body and the module for wireless communication of these bio-signals to PC were developed. The program was developed to display transmitted SpO2 and PPG signal by various type data and graph without information loss during a emergency transfer. In this paper, a health care system is implemented which can identify the parameter for moving body after exercising based on home network. This system has catched a signal for physical condition of body data using data acquisition mechanism such as a data acquisition module, a data signal processing module and a feedback module. The composition has a functions of displacement point for a BMI and WDI, that the basic parameter measure to base on the heart rate, temperature. There are checked physical condition of body exercising to compounded a physical condition of sensory organ.
