A Study on the Signal Integrity and Distorted Signal Analysis of High Speed Transmission Line

In this paper, we suggested the method of signal integrity for noises and distortion signal generated between high speed information transmission modules by external effects. Suggested method for signal integrity of impedance matching to remove transmission line distortion, We divided the impedance matching between the transmitter and the receiver module with the single line and differential line methods after confirmed the improvement of signal distortions through ADS simulation. the experimental results indicated that it is possible to keep signal integrity without signal distortions by matching the optimal termination impedance which are considering the signal delay of transmission line for using the high-performance modules.
Design and Fabrication of wideband low-noise amplification stage for COMINT

In this paper, wideband two-stage amplification stage was designed, fabricated and evaluated. The proposed amplification stage with a novel gain control method have a high gain, low noise and high linearity performance. It is consisted of common emitter amplifier as the first stage, cascode gain control amplifier as second stage and power detector which sense the received signal strength. The proposed amplification stage shows a total gain of 29 dB~37 dB, noise fiugre of 1.5 dB at operating band and high linearity performance as the IMD (third intermodulation distortion) level is below the noise level of the measurement equipment at the control voltage 2.0 V generated from power detector under the strong electric field condition.

Development of Computer science and internet technoloy have led changes all over the social area. Educational markets based on this circumstance are offering various services named remote education, cyber lecture, e-Learning, etc. Due to these products, systems for computer based teaching and evaluating student's achievement are wide spread. But in many systems we can find functional restrictions. In this paper we propose a RTE system offering interactive self control mode based education so as to provide customized education for each individual by realtime feedback of the level of the student's comprehension we expect that this system provides customized education environment considering student's achievement level and maximizes their motivation.
High-Tag anti-collision algorithm to improve the efficiency of tag Identification in Active RFID System

In RFID System, one of the problem that we must slove is to devise a good anti-collision algorithms to improve the efficiency of tag identification which is usually low because of tag collision. Among of the existing RFID anti-collision algorithm, BS (Binary Search) algorithm, though simple, has a disadvantage that the stage of times used to identify the tags increase exponentially as the number of tags does. In this paper, I propose a new anti-collision algorithm called Multi-collision reflected frame which restricts the number of stages and decided bit. Since the proposal algorithm keep the length size of UID and density of total tag when have 100%. The simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm improves the efficiency by 30~50% compared to the existing algorithm.
Evaluation of VoIP Capacity for IEEE802.11b WiFi Environment under Voice Coding Methods

In this paper we simulate the capacity of VOIP calls through WiFi network by computer simulations using OPNET modeler. The results show that sudden quality degradations occur on all VoIP calls when the number of call of an AP(Access Point) increases beyond a specific value. The reason of the quality degradation was turned out to be the queueing delay at the down link of AP. Under the IEEE 802.11b environments, the maximum number of VoIP calls of an AP maintaining the required voice quality (MOS > 2.5), was evaluated as 5, 12, and 27 when we use G.711, G.729a, and G.729a VAD codec, respectively.
Service Quality Criteria for Voice Services over a HSDPA System

This paper covers the service quality of packet-based voice service that is provided over a high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) system. Using the measurement software that has been developed in the course of preparing a advanced service quality management scheme for the packet-based voice service over a wireless network, a huge scale of experiment is conducted to measure the real quality of the voice service. Based on our analysis of the measurement result, the service quality of the voice service is supposed to be quite good over HSDPA system. In addition, another experiment to investigate the effect of degradation of wireless transmission conditions on the service quality of the voice service shows the values of wireless service metrics in which mean opinion score (MOS) starts to decrease.
Transmission Performance of VoIP Traffics over MANETs under Multi Intrusions

In this paper, transmission performance for serval VoIP traffics is meaured and analysised over MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) under some types of intrusions. VoIP simulator based on NS-2 is used for performance measure. In the simulation, MOS, network delay, packet loss rate and call connection rate is measured for transmission performance. With analysis of measued data, characteristics of each traffics for transmission performance parameters is showed on MANET under multi intrusions, As a results of this paper, some recommendation condtion for codec selection and blackhole intrusion is suggested to implement VoIP services on MANET under multi intrusions like as DDoS and blockhole intrusions.
Analysis of Cross-Correlation of Extended Non-Linear Binary Sequences

Code-Division Multiple-Access(CDMA) allows several users simultaneous access to a common channel by assigning a distinct pseudonoise sequence called spectrum code to each user. Each user in a CDMA system uses a assigned spectrum code to modulate their signal. Choosing the codes used to modulate the signal is very important in the performance of CDMA systems. The best performance will occur when there is good separation between the signal of a desired user and the signals of other users. The receiver synchronizes the code to recover the data. The use of an independent code allows multiple users to access the same frequency band at the same time. In this paper we propose a generalized model of non-linear binary sequence using trace function and analyze cross-correlation of these sequences. These sequences with low correlation, large linear span and large family size, in a direct-sequence spread spectrum communication system, help to minimize multiple access interference, increase security degree of system and enlarge user number.

In this paper, we introduce the extended sequences of sequences generated by GMW sequences and No sequences. And we analyze cross-correlatons of the extended sequences. Also we give extended sequences which are constructed from Legendre sequences. This is helpful to a cryptosystem and a communication system. Particularly this study is useful to the CDMA system signal design.
The Case of Novel Attack Detection using Virtual Honeynet

Most national critical key infrastructure, such like electricity, nuclear power plant, and petroleum is run on SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system as the closed network type. These systems have treated the open protocols like TCP/IP, and the commercial operating system, which due to gradually increasing dependence on IT(Information Technology) is a trend. Recently, concerns have been raised about the possibility of these facilities being attacked by cyber terrorists, hacking, or viruses. In this paper, the method to minimize threats and vulnerabilities is proposed, with the virtual honeynet system architecture and the attack detection algorithm, which can detect the unknown attack patterns of Zero-Day Attack are reviewed.
A Study on Control of Access to Internal Network Information and Authority Set Up Management for Client by Class

It has been only few years that various contents information subject for information processing system has been remarkably increased in online. If we say the year 2000 is the technology based year when deluge of information and data such as real time sharing, the time since after 2000 until 2011 has been a period plentiful of application based functions and solutions. Also, as the applicable range of these information process systems extends, individual information effluence has been social issues twice in 2009 and 2010. Thus now there are continuous efforts made to develop technologies to secure and protect information. However, the range problem has been extended from the illegal access from outside to the legal access from internal user and damages by agents hidden in internal information process system and client system. Therefore, this study discusses the necessity for the studies on efficiency based information security by control of access to internal information and authority setting for administrator and internal users. Based on the result of this study, it provides data that can be used from SOHO class network to large scale for information security method.
Development of a SHA with 100 MS/s for High-Speed ADC Circuits

In this article, we have designed SHA, which has 12 Bit resolution at an input signal range of 1
and operates at a sampling speed of 100 MS/s in order to use at front of high speed ADC. SFDR(Spurious Free Dynamic Range) of the proposed system drops to approximately 66.3 dB resolution when the input frequency is 5 MHz, and the sampling frequency is 100 MHz, however, the circuit without a feedthrough has 12 bit resolution with approximately 73 dB.
Line Edge Detection Sensor using Visual Spectral Wavelength

One dimensional line edge detection sensor was investigated for the application to detect line or edge of wide sheet winding to cylindrical roller. Line edge detection sensor was realized using align-free 1:1 optical system having 1 convex lens and by processing sum or difference of signals from two photo-diodes in a bi-cell photodetector. Line width up to 0.1mm on object having various materials and colors was detectable, and the deviation of wound sheet was found to be under 0.2mm.

An F-LDPC Codes Based on Jacket Pattern

In this paper, we consider the encoding scheme of Low Density Parity Check codes. In particular, using the Jacket Pattern and circulant permutation matrices, we propose the simple encoding scheme of Richardson's lower triangular matrix. These encoding scheme can be extended to a flexible code rate. Based on the simple matrix process, also we can design low complex and simple encoders for the flexible code rates.
The Analysis of Performance of Precise Single Positioning according to estimation accuracy of Satellite Clock Error

In this paper, we analyzed the influence of different observation stations distributions on satellite clock offset estimation based on the PANDA software. The result shows that, when the distance between stations is shorter than 200km, the correlation of troposphere parameter and satellite clock offset parameter is strong, the accuracy of satellite clock offset estimation will be up to 0.8ns; when the distance between stations is up to 500km, as the correction of troposphere parameter and satellite clock offset parameter is significantly reduced, and the two kinds of parameters can be distinguished.
A Study on the Frequency Synthesizer using the DDS and its Performance Evaluation

Global flow of communication is a trend of high speed, digitalization, and high-capacity. Furthermore, spread spectrum method has been dominantly utilized to efficiently use the frequency which is the scarce resource. The PLL (Phase Lock Loop) which is a widely used frequency synthesizer in communication systems has few problems such as status interferences and hence, this study utilized the DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) which is a digital device that can minimize the problems of PLL for the study on the performance evaluation of high speed frequency hopping system design. We designed a system that practices high speed frequency hopping and interprets improvement of error-rates and evaluated its performance.
An Adaptation of Consistency Criteria for Applications in the Cloud

In cloud computing, a enterprise or a client can use resources of computers that they are not own them. In case of Web 2.0 applications, such as Facebook, it is difficult to predict the maximum popularity of the service. But, the cloud computing may give a solution about this problem without high cost, thus becomes wildly popular. One of the advantage of cloud computing is providing a high availability. To provide the availability when the cloud computing that has shared-nothing architecture, strict consistency is not well with cloud computing. So, some consistency was proposed including the eventual consistency that was weaken the traditional consistency and has been adopted to many cloud applications. In this paper, we observe various consistency criteria that can adjust to cloud computing and discuss about some consistency that can be adapted to many applications of cloud computing.

For this study, real estate brokerage services to customers how to evaluate quality factors and quality factors important for studying about what is preferred. Real estate brokerage service quality factors, the expertise of brokers, dealers sales skills, a sense of responsibility of traders, brokerage firm's position, whether or not participating were chosen franchise. Looking at the findings, and customer service quality factors, the five kinds of real estate brokers a sense of responsibility to be the most important quality factors were analyzed as a favorite, followed by the expertise of brokers, sales skills brokers, brokerage firm's presence, a franchise analysis of whether the order has been participating. As the results of this study, the traders as traders sense of responsibility and expertise and strive to improve, friendly servece and act as an active intermediarv will need to improve sales skills. Particle filter for Correction of GPS location data of a mobile robot

This paper proposes a method which corrects location data of GPS for navigation of outdoor mobile robot. The method uses a Bayesian filter approach called the particle filter(PF). The method iterates two procedures: prediction and correction. The prediction procedure calculates robot location based on translational and rotational velocity data given by the robot command. It incorporates uncertainty into the predicted robot location by adding uncertainty to translational and rotational velocity command. Using the sensor characteristics of the GPS, the belief that a particle assumes true location of the robot is calculated. The resampling from the particles based on the belief constitutes the correction procedure. Since usual GPS data includes abrupt and random noise, the robot motion command based on the GPS data suffers from sudden and unexpected change, resulting in jerky robot motion. The PF reduces corruption on the GPS data and prevents unexpected location error. The proposed method is used for navigation of a mobile robot in the 2011 Robot Outdoor Navigation Competition, which was held at Gwangju on the 16-th August 2011. The method restricted the robot location error below 0.5m along the navigation of 300m length.
Particle Filter SLAM for Indoor Navigation of a Mobile Robot Using Ultrasonic Beacons

This paper proposes a particle filter approach for SLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) of a mobile robot. The SLAM denotes estimation of both the robot location and map while the robot navigates in an unknown environment without map. The proposed method estimates robot location simultaneously with the locations of the ultrasonic beacons which constitute landmarks for navigation. The particle filter method represents the locations of the robot and landmarks in probabilistic manner by the distribution of particles. The method takes care of the uncertainty of the landmarks' location as well as that of the robot motion. Therefore, the locations of the landmarks are updated including uncertainty at every sampling time. Performance of the proposed method is verified through simulation and experiments. The method yields practically useful mapping information even if the range data from the landmarks include random noise. Also, it provides more accurate and robust estimation of the robot location than the usual least squares methods or dead-reckoning method.
Numerical Performance Analysis of Obstacle Avoidance Method for a Mobile Robot

This paper analyzes performance of major obstacle avoidance methods. For the analysis, numerical performance indexes are proposed: motion distance to goal point, motion time, distance to obstacles, and smoothness of the motion. Especially, the index of smoothness measures efficiency of the motion using the angular acceleration and jerk of the robot heading. Four major obstacle avoidance methods are compared in terms of the performance indexes. The four methods are artificial potential field(APF) method, elastic force(EF) method, APF with virtual distance, and EF with virtual distance. Through simulation, the four methods are compared and features of the methods are explored.
Implementation of Bi-directional Optic EtherCAT Communication Module based on WDM Method

Recently in industry communication, the efforts that use robot and automation system increased by cooperation with optical communication and industrial Ethernet. In this paper, in order to solve the problem that total network blocking when network fault happens and wiring problem of optical cable, which were big serious disadvantage in industrial optical network systems, we propose bi-directional optical EtherCAT communication technique based on single optical core, which applying WDM method. We describe the content for implementation of WDM bi-directional optical EtherCAT communication module and performance evaluation to verify the performance of related technology as a whole.

Robot Localization and Monitoring using OpenRTM in Outdoor Environment based on Precision GPS

In the case of outdoor moving of robot, it is differ to indoor moving case due to it cannot prepare map early for entire outdoor environments, there is nearly no research based on map because most outdoor robots use GPS. In this paper, we implement outdoor robot localization that using precision GPS and then GPS data applying MCL algorithm in outdoor environments of plane of 2 dimensional without incline section. We also perform a simple mission scenario by using applied robot localization in outdoor robot. We applying OpenRTM based on middleware, we can be controlled and grasped situation of the outdoor robot by remote through server by manager.
Expression Technique of the Plurality IR LED Marker using OOK Method for Augmented Reality

With technologies available now, there are only a few virtual objects that augmented reality content can create. So, wider application of it is limited. If people want to realize any augmented reality content, out of a vast amount of materials available as well as virtual objects, the number of virtual objects that markers can render should be made to go up along with the content. In a precedent study, IR LEDs markers render marker information following On-Off signals. The number of LEDs should be raised to render as much information as possible, subsequently leading to the problem of oversized markers. This problem can be solved by generating data signals through the blinking of LEDs. This research puts forward OOK Code algorithm that represents the mode of data transmission using the light of LEDs. The amount of information that can be rendered by a marker increases and the size of the marker gets smaller, which is a merit, when it receives data signals from light.
Design and Implementation of the Smart AR System based on Contextual UX for Expansion of the Interaction

IT convergence technology is gradually becoming anthropocentric and evolving based on the low-carbon green growth. Augmented reality technique is a contents convergence technology that can mix virtual objects while maintaining a sense of the real world. For that reason, interaction between user and system is possible, can make various applications, and has a high possibility for expandability. To expand the scope of existing interaction, this paper suggests contextual UX-based augmented reality system. It is a system which creates virtual objects that respond to the changes in the real world environment, and users can directly apply their personal preferences to virtual objects. Also, several virtual objects can be registered all at once, and even shows animations corresponding to either day and night according to the brightness of illumination. As said, it improves user's satisfaction through a system of mixed usability, and leads to a continuous use of augmented reality contents.

The analysis of general characteristics by each area showed that the older their age gets and the longer their career is, the more the protective action is practiced by them. Although they are well aware of the fact that the medical information of patients should be kept 100% secret and they practice it to almost excellent grade (5), the physical and occupational therapists, as key experts in charge of improving functions of patients, were found to have little concern for and little knowledge about contents of protecting medical information. It is thus required to perform public relation and instruction continuously to intensify their awareness of needs to protect patients' privacy and to implant ethical sense in this regard deep in their mind.
Development of an Accident detection system using a scanner

Changing the environment around detecting areas may lower the performance of a video-based accident detection system. Region of interest(ROI) and background information changing constantly on account of the car headlights at night and a sudden changes in the weather are the biggest factors to increase the ratio of wrong results. Thus, we proposed and implemented the integrated accident detection system combined the video-based system and the laser-based imaging system. In this paper, we were able to overcome the majority problem of video-based system and it was a meaningful results that it can improve the reliability for the system.
