In this paper, we analysis a competition to organize knowledge map as initial prepare stage based on intellectual property. We also propose the method that can be used to constitute knowledge map related in area to use basic data. In order to extract analysis data, we choose LED as an analysis technology. We provide the result of total analysis for LED application area through analysis of patent level after we extract recent patent ratio, activity index, patent family size, cites per patent as center of patent data.

In this paper, we analyze a main patent positioning to analyze data based on patent application as stage of data collection to organize knowledge map of LED through patent application. We also analyze the present condition of patent application for technology sector. We propose basic data to make knowledge map through the analysis of technical distribution for applicant by each country.
Vehicle Detection in Tunnel using Gaussian Mixture Model and Mathematical Morphological Processing

In this paper, a vehicle detection algorithm with HD CCTV camera images using GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model) algorithm and mathematical morphological processing is proposed. At the first stage, background could be estimated using GMM from CCTV input image signal and then object could be separated from difference image of the input image and background image. At the second stage, candidated object were reformed by using mathematical morphological processing. Finally, vehicle object could be detected using vehicle size informations depend on distance and vehicle type in tunnel. Through real experiments in tunnel, it is shown that the proposed system works well.
Design of effective Receiver in Wireless Network using turbo code

In this paper, we considered the received signal of the wideband CDMA systems using turbo code in the multipath channel environments, and analyze the performance of the system. This study is to analyze the performance for the variable system bandwidth according to the number of branches of rake receiver by passing the received signal through a rake receiver with a turbo code in Rayleigh fading channel environments. For the design of receiver in wideband CDMA systems, we presented the efficient parameters for the number of iterative decoding and the number of branches of rake receiver.
An Enhanced LPI Control Mechanism in Energy Efficient Ethernet

IEEE 802.3az LPI mechanism allows an Ethernet link to reduce power consumption by entering a low-power sleeping mode and letting some components being powered off when there is no data to be transmitted through the link. However, if small amount of packets are being sent periodically, such a mechanism can not obtain energy efficiency due to a high overhead caused by excessive mode transitions. In this paper, we propose an enhanced LPI mechanism which can perform state transition adaptively based on the traffic characteristics on transport layer and network status. This simulation result shows that proposed mechanism improves energy efficiency than LPI mechanism with respect to energy consumption rate for various traffic loads.
Analysis on Technology Development of NCW and Tactical Data Link

This study considered NCW in the general as a key component of Future War and analyzed the international technical trend of tactical data link as the key of technical elements. The technique applied to Future War results from development of electronic communication and IT technique. However, NCW which plays a significant role in the Future War is not possible due to a development of simple technique but requires the amalgamative approach of various techniques essentially. That is, it should be understood and approached the management scenario and various techniques comprehensively. NCW is one of the areas which future electronic communication and IT can concentrate, so the government has been working for the developmental introduction of NCW strategically until 2020. Already, the level of localization of components related to electronics in military supplies exceeds 85%, but under the amalgamative research of technology in the high level like this, it would be possible to create new opportunities. Thus, the electronic communication and IT technology should seek effective applications of NCW by comprehending each area complexly.

3D Fish Encyclopedia System based on Mobile Augmented Reality

The Augmented Reality, as a technology caught the spotlight as a next generation's technology of inserting 3D virtual objects in the space of reality seen through the camera, can maximize the learning effects by inducing user's absorption and interest using interaction between user and objects. Recently, as the movile devices having excellent mobility and portability are generalized, the diversified augmented reality are introduced using mobile devices. In this article, a 3D fish encyclopedia system augmented from the mobile environment was designed to provide the user with learning contents focusing on the sense of absorption and an interest. This system is intened to provide helps to learn about the fishes by recognizing the pictures of fishes in the encyclopedia as marker, bringing out the 3D model stored in server and displaying in the mobile environment.

Due to acceleration of the IT industry and the environment for a variety of media in modern society, such as real-time video images 3D-TV is a very important issue. These high-quality live video is being applied to various fields such as CCTV footage has become an important performance parameters. However, these high quality images, even vulnerable because of shortcomings secure channel or by using various security algorithms attempt to get rid of these disadvantages are underway very active. These shortcomings, this study added extra security technologies to reduce the processing speed image processing itself, but by adding security features to transmit real-time processing and security measures for improving the present.
A Study on the Self-Key Generation Algorithm for Security Elevation in Near Field Communications

Importance of security is emphasized along with development of local area network such as NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi etc., but research that is worth watching eagerly up to now is not gone. This paper proposed SSEN algorithm for security elevation of approximation communication network. Proposed SSEN algorithm is algorithm that special cryptographic function creates own key without necessity. Also, SSEN achieving certification function additionally, did so that can have more than performance about the processing speed and mistake of service voluntarily.
An Effective Steel Plate Detection Using Eigenvalue Analysis

In this paper, a simple and robust algorithm is proposed for detecting each steel plate from a image which contains several steel plates. Steel plate is characterized by line edge, so line detection is a fundamental task for analyzing and understanding of steel plate images. To detect the line edge, the proposed algorithm uses the small eigenvalue analysis. The proposed approach scans an input edge image from the top left corner to the bottom right corner with a moving mask. A covariance matrix of a set of edge pixels over a connected region within the mask is determined and then the statistical and geometrical properties of the small eigenvalue of the matrix are explored for the purpose of straight line detection. Using the detected line edges, each plate is determined based on the directional information and the distance information of the line edges. The results of the experiments emphasize that the proposed algorithm detects each steel plate from a image effectively.
A Study on a 4-Stage Phased Defense Method to Defend Cloud Computing Service Intrusion

Attack on Cloud Computing, an intensive service solution using network infrastructure recently released, generates service breakdown or intrusive incidents incapacitating developmental platforms, web-based software, or resource services. Therefore, it is needed to conduct research on security for the operational information of three kinds of services (3S': laaS, PaaS, SaaS) supported by the Cloud Computing system and also generated data from the illegal attack on service blocking. This paper aims to build a system providing optimal services as a 4-stage defensive method through the test on the attack and defense of Cloud Computing services. It is a defense policy that conducts 4-stage, orderly and phased access control as follows: controlling the initial access to the network, controlling virtualization services, classifying services for support, and selecting multiple routes. By dispersing the attacks and also monitoring and analyzing to control the access by stage, this study performs defense policy realization and analysis and tests defenses by the types of attack. The research findings will be provided as practical foundational data to realize Cloud Computing service-based defense policy.
An On-Line Barcode Verification System using Image Processing Technique

Barcode labels are being widely used for identifying products since they are cheap and easy to use. As the barcode labels are massively produced by seal printing, some labels have defects such as poor printing quality or data mismatch between barcode and the text. Barcode read errors and business errors caused by defected barcodes result in delay in logistics and increased processing costs. In this paper, we propose an on-line barcode verification system that uses image processing technique to verify the quality of labels at the production stage. The proposed system captures label images through the vision camera and then checks the print quality and verifies the combination of barcodes and texts in a label. If any defected label is found, the proposed system gives alarm signals and marks the defected labels so that they are removed at early stage of the production.
An Analog Memory Fabricated with Single-poly Nwell Process Technology

A digital memory has been widely used as a device for storing information due to its reliable, fast and relatively simple control circuit. However, the storage of the digital memory will be limited by the inablility to make smaller linewidths. One way to dramatically increase the storeage capability of the memory is to change the type of stored data from digital to analog. The analog memory fabricated in a standard single poly 0.6um CMOS process has been developed. Single cell and adjacent circuit block for programming have been designed and characterized. Applications include low-density non-volatile memory, control of redundancy in SRAM and DRAM memories, ID or security code registers, and image and sound memory.
A Study on Auxiliary Pole Installation of Concentrated Winding PMLSM with Bifurcating of Armature Teeth

Recently, linear motors have been widely researched and have been increasingly used in various industrial applications. Especially, permanent magnet linear synchronous motors(PMLSMs) have been getting the spotlight in the transportation system. A PMLSM is structurally simple and has a lot of merits such as high speed, high thrust force, etc. However, in case of a long stator system which arranges armature to the full length of transportation lines, a PMLSM has some disadvantages such as the material cost increase and long manufacturing time. Hence, in order to overcome these problems, the PMLSM with stationary discontinuous armature structure and concentrated windings was proposed. However, this method occurs undesirable cogging force by outlet edge effect. The cogging force causes thrust force ripples and generates noise and vibration. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed installation method of auxiliary pole PMLSM with concentrated winding applying bifurcating in order to reduce cogging force by the outlet edge when the armature is placed in a discontinuous arrangement. Also, we have examined characteristics of outlet edge cogging force using 2-D finite element analysis(FEA).
Nonlinear Phenomena in MEMS Device

In this paper, we propose the MEMS system with Duffing equation to confirm nonlinear features in MEMS system. We also analyze nonlinear phenomena when adding the nonlinear term of another type. As a verification, we confirm chaotic motion by parameter variation through the time series, phase portrait and power spectrum.
Analysis of optical energy delivery through multi-core optical fibers

Many researchers worldwide have been making a lot of effort to find sustainable clean energy source to replace the current fossil fuels. However, solar energy is considered as the ultimate energy solution to supply the world total power consumption. Light can be used for lighting, heating, wired and wireless communications, etc. Moreover, even light-driven motors which can directly convert optical energy into kinetic energy are studied recently. In this paper, we analyze optical energy delivery through multi-core optical fibers. Our estimation shows that an optical power of 2 kW can be transmitted through a multi-core fiber and an optical power of >10 MW can be transmitted through a bundle of optical fibers with a diameter of several centimeters. It seems competitive compared with the electric power delivery through a copper cable.

The effect of the user experience of smart phone on satisfaction. This research is to study the effect of the user experience factors of smart phone on customer satisfaction. User experience factors represent Usefulness, Usability, Affect and Brand images, based on antecedent literatures. And The targets of this study is 95 people in using S's company and 90 people in using A's company. As a result of this research, practicality(47.7%), offline issues(28.8%), usability(18.0%), aesthetics(17.6%) are identified for the effect of user experience on satisfaction. Most of the smart phone designer should consider that usefulness and affect are key factors, when they are designed for user-friendly in that they increase user satisfaction. In terms of these, we suggest that the fact that S's affect doesn't have effect on satisfaction is an urgent need for improvement.
A Range Query Method using Index in Large-scale Database Systems

As the amount of data increases explosively, a large scale database system is emerged to store, retrieve and manipulate it. There are several issues in this environments such as, consistency, availability and fault tolerance. In this paper, we address a efficient range-query method where data management services are separated from transaction management services in large-scale database systems. A study had been proposed using partitions to protect independence of two modules and to resolve the phantom problem, but this method was efficient only when range-query is specified by a key. So, we present a new method that can improve the efficiency when range-query is specified by a key attribute as well as other attributes. The presented method can guarantee the independence of separated modules and alleviate overheads for range-query using partial index.
Social Network P2P System based on Visual Information

In the past several years there has been increasing the studies using P2P technology. In these P2P systems, the server to support the contents-information have less overloads than the composed system as the server to have resources generally. In this paper, we propose the system to support a menu based on the social network P2P system. The object of this study was to widen the use of this menu system to determine the price based on visual information. This system is based on previous research, showing excellent success rate. Therefore, this system is suitable for micro, small and medium industries in the use of P2P servers. This system is more usable than previous study.

A study on the future prospects of the housing market in the 2010 census results

As a result of the 2010 census, the most severe change appears household structure changes and single-person households's constantly increasing. As a result, the following changes in the housing market are to be expected. First, the changes to the center of the two-person households in four-person households would be reorganized into the small and medium-sized apartment in the center of mid-range and high-end apartments. Second, on the continued increase in the proportion of one-person households, the sustained growth of the rental market is expected. Third, on the continued increase in the proportion of one-person households, one-room house, office buildings, and residential urban life set to meet the needs of consumers, a variety of rental market boom times will come.
A development of H/W and S/W platform of remote controllable agricultural robot based on XP embedded system

According to abrupt decrese in number of farmer and ageing society, there has been a need for development of low cost agricultural robot. In this paper, a H/W and S/W platform of caterpillar type agricultural chemical dusting robot based on XP embedded system were described. The developed agricultural robot has 2 d.o.f caterpillar type driving wheel and 2 d.o.f chemical dusting spray mechanical system. The H/W platform of the agricultural robot consists of robot controller, remote controller and sensor controller. In S/W platform, 5 processes work concurrently, which are task manager, TCP-IP communication process, localization process, wheel control, and sensor control process. This robot platform has been developed for chemical dusting robot. We proved this system's validity through field test.
The Sliding Control using Nonlinear Sliding Surfaces

In the paper, design of nonlinear sliding surfaces which are based on optimal control is studied, The state trajectory by the input of optimal control was obtained by Frobenius theorem and matrix decomposition method, was set the nonlinear sliding surfaces of the system. The states is maintained to sliding surfaces from initial states. As the result, robustness of the system can be guaranteed throughout an entire response of the system starting form the initial time instance, the uncertainty and external disturbance that can occur during the reaching time is removed, the problem of large control input was solved, and setting the sliding surfaces optimal path was able to reduce the tracking time. The validity of the proposed control scheme is shown in computer simulation for inverted pendulum.
The Control of Flexible Robot Arm using Adaptive Control Theory

The ration of payload to weight of industrial robot amounts form 1:10 to 1:30. Compared with man who have a ration of 3:1, it is very low. One of the goals for the next generation of robots will be a ration. This might be possible only by developing lightweight robots. When two-link flexible arm is rotated about an joint axis, transverse vibration may occur. In this paper, vibration dynamics of flexible arm is modeled by using Bernoulli-Euler beam theory and Lagrange equation. Using the fact that matrix
is skew symmetric, new controllers which have a simplified structure with less computational burden is proposed by using Lyapunov stability theory. We propose deterministic and adaptive control laws for two link flexible arm, and the validity of the proposed control scheme is shown in computer simulation for two-link flexible arm.
Facility Maintenance Management System Using a Mobile Application

Recently, the demand for mobile system is growing owing to the spread of smart phones to enable the real-time business process. This paper proposes the real-time facility maintenance management system using an android-based mobile application to apply to the facility defect/maintenance field for the apartment building complex. The proposed system model aims to develop the comprehensive management system to integrate the web and mobile system to lead to the realization of mobile office. The security measures required in the mobile system are technically analyzed and implemented on the system.
An Efficient Car Management System based on an Object-Oriented Modeling using Car Number Recognition and Smart Phone

In this paper, we propose an efficient car management system based on object-oriented modeling using car number recognition and smart phone. The proposed system perceives car number of repair vehicle after recognizing the licence plate using an IP camera in real time. And then, existing repair history information of the recognized car is be displayed in DID. In addition, maintenance process is shooting video while auto maintenance mechanic repairs car through IP-camera. That will be provide customer car identification and repairs history management function by sending key frames extracted from recorded video automatically. We provide user graphic interface based on web and mobile for your convenience. The module design of the proposed system apply software design modeling based on granular object-oriented considering reuse and extensibility after implementation. Car repairs center and maintenance companies can improve business efficiency, as well as the requested vehicle repair can increase customer confidence.
The Design and Implementation of Intruder Access Control System by based of Ubiquitous Sensor Network

Latest, it is dealt with seriously problems that an intruder kidnapping students in elementary school. Especially young students is more vulnerable in these risks. Elementary School has many limitations in controlling the intrusion of trespassers. A problem occurs that requires a lot of manpower through the deployment and management of security systems such as CCTV and control systems. In this paper, we is designed and implemented the outsider access management system using a sensor network and PZT camera called the USN's core technology to monitoring the access control for controlling the mobility of the trespassers.
A Design and Implementation of Mobile Application SREMS

Based on Smart Phone, this study added and implemented the mobile App to the existing IT agriculture system, which system automatically controlled green house's growth environment. Because the mobile App characterfully possesses high portability, limited resource, mobile wireless network support, enterprise mobile computing support, etc., the hybrid-App should be inevitably adopted. The hybrid App can minimize resource consumption for performing related duties and also, in spite of the mobile device's limits, it can derive high performance, in which facts the system can ensure the service-based architecture's reliance and also, implements the highly sophisticated functionality as well. Through the proposed system, the study expects to contribute to improve quality of life as well as to increase farmer's income through IT-based agriculture system development.
The Relationship between Existence of Spouses and Depression of Korean Elderly

The depression of the elderly decreases satisfaction in life and is also an important risky factor of their suicide. The subjects of the study were 615 males and 904 females aged above 65 who had the 2008 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on the relations between presence of spouses and depression given by the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Through a chi-square test and a multiple logistic regression, the relations between general characteristics, contraction, health characteristics and depression were analysed. As a result of the multiple logistic regression for which age, family income, subjective health status, presence of activity limitation and stress were revised, the odds ratio of the males without spouses was 2.37(95% CI 1.03-5.45), which indicates that they had more depression than female subjects. However, for the female subjects, there were no relations between presence of spouses and depression.
A Study on the Situations and Satisfaction of Home-based Occupational Therapy Service for Children

This study investigated the situations and satisfaction of home-based occupational therapy service for children under eighteen residing in Suncheon and Gwangyang. Arithmetic statistics were conducted by dividing the general facts of home-based occupational therapy service, the kinds of service used in home-based therapy, the satisfaction of home-based occupational therapy service, facts helpful for children, and facts helpful for parents or home. As a result, the most common source of home-based occupational therapy information was the association for children with disabilities and its satisfaction was high. This study will provide basic materials to build up systematic, stable, and continuous rehabilitation therapy support projects by the government.
Relevance of role perceptions and job satisfaction of Hospital workers

This study was to identify the influence of job satisfaction on the role clarity perception of the personnels except medical staffs of hospitals. The study subjects of this study were 486 personnels employed in the supporting departments of hospital. As the result of multiple regression analysis, policy decision showed the highest explanatory power on job satisfaction, We would conclude that in order to improve the performance level of hospital by increasing the job satisfaction of their non-medical personnels, the hospital managers should make efforts to raise the role clarity of them. Our study had some limitations. Especially, because measurement scale on job satisfaction used in our study didn't consist of subdivision, our findings would not show which area was more important in improving job satisfaction.
Relationship Between Verbal Abuse and Mental Health in Some Operating Nurses

This study was performed to identify the experience of verbal abuse during in some operating nurse. The study subjects were 176 operating nurse in general hospitals and the data were collected using by self-administered questionnaire from October 17 to October 31, 2011. Multiple regression analysis the experience of verbal abuse and scores of nurses domain in verbal abuse scale were statistically significant related with mental health. In conclusion, the verbal abuse of operating nurses influenced mental health. Therefore, it is required to maintain and promote mental health of operating nurses by developing the various prevention program for preventing verbal abuse.
Implementation of Digital Directly Observed Treatment (DOT) System using a Smart Pillbox

As Korea is expected to enter an aging society in near future, the number of patients who need a long-term prescribtion is expected to increase as well. In particular, Korea shows the highest in both the incident rate and the death rate among OECD member nations. The current situation requires more strict monitoring and management for patients' taking medicine, there are a few practical problems such as personnel expenses. Recently the concept of directly observed treatment (DOT) that is based on the IT technologies has been introduced. This paper, therefore, proposes a digital DOT system with a smart pillbox and drives key requirements for the smart pillbox that plays an important and essential role in the proposed digital DOT system.
A Study on Relationship between Halitosis and Stress & Compulsion in Some of the Dental Hygiene Students

This study was carried out in order to offer basic data for preventing halitosis by understanding about the factors related to self-awareness of halitosis and about the relationship with stress and compulsion targeting students for the Department of Dental Hygiene. As a result of research, the whole subjects were indicated to be 1.76 points for the mean in stress, 1.62 points for the mean in compulsion, and 1.84 points for the mean in self-awareness of halitosis. The group of feeling the tongue to be white and the inside of the mouth to be sticky in own symptom inside the mouth was indicated to be 2.02 points(p=0.000) for stress and 2.00 points(p=0.000) for self-awareness of halitosis. The group of often feeling a sense of oral dryness was indicated to be 2.23 points(p=0.000) for stress, 1.95 points(p=0.000) for compulsion, and 1.89 points(p=0.046) for self-awareness of halitosis. The self-awareness of halitosis stood at r=0.133 with compulsion, thereby having indicated slight positive correlation. Stress and compulsion showed high positive correlation with r=0.425. Accordingly, there is a need of infusing recognition through steady education as a dental hygienist who will have interest in emotional factor along with grasping diverse causes for halitosis, and who will be in charge of a future patients' halitosis.
Physical Layer Issues in Vehicular Communications

Vehicular communications have been receiving much attention in intelligent transport systems (ITS) by combining communication technology with automobile industries. In general, vehicular communications can be used for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication by adopting IEEE802.11p/1609 standard which is commonly known as wireless access in vehicular environments (WAVE). WAVE system transmits signal in 5.9GHz frequency band with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signaling. In this paper, we consider physical layer issues in vehicular communications. We first overview the physical (PHY) layer of WAVE standard and properties of 5.9GHz signals, and then physical layer issues to provide reliable communication link are discussed.
A Job Analysis on Oral Health Education Task in Dental Hospitals and Clinics

This study was attempted in order to offer basic data for performing systematic and desirable task through improving job by surveying the actual condition and the task weight in dental hygienists. As a result of analyzing daily task weight in subjects of this study, the ratio of medical-cure cooperation task was indicated to be highest with 35.45%. It was indicated to be in order of periodontal therapy service with 21.54%, of administration & management task with 16.08%, of oral health education task with 15.88%, and of preventive treatment service with 11.23%. As for kind-based utilization ratio of the oral health education contents and oral health education data, a toothbrushing education method by subject was indicated most highly with 3.70 points. It was indicated to be in order of usage on oral hygiene device with 3.51 points, of educational method on regular check-up with 3.26 points, of educational method of preventing dental disease with 3.13 points, and of educational method on diet control with 1.39 points. Jaw-plate model was indicated to be used the most with 38.0%. It was indicated to be in order of orally explaining with 23.9% and of camera inside the mouth with 12.2%. Thus, establishment of a system is considered to be necessary in order to promote quality of oral health education for patients in the future by performing diverse programs with high utilization value in addition to a steady interest.
Development of Smart Pedestal System using IT Convergence Technology

Recently, needs of recreational marine industry are consistently increasing due to increasing of income and pursuit on well-being. For these needs, central government and local governments have tried to build tens of marinas to meet demands and promote related industries. Therefore, need of smart pedestal system has also increased. However, domestic companies have not manufactured smart pedestal systems, so many pedestal systems have been imported from advanced countries such as England, Denmark, and Italy. This research has developed a smart pedestal system using IT convergence technology. This system is assembled by each several module which has its own function and board. Each module is not developed on an embedded OS. Instead, it has its customized operational software based on its kernel. Thus, this system brings about cost reduction of productions and maintenance.
