Concealing Communication Source and Destination in Wireless Sensor Networks (Part I) : Protocol Evaluation

In large-scale wireless sensor networks, tremendous amount of dummy packets is usually accompanied by keeping location privacy of the communication source and destination against global eavesdropping. In our earlier work we designed a location privacy routing protocol, ELPR(End-node Location Privacy Routing) in which the generation of dummy packets at each idle time-slot while transferring data packets are restricted to only the nodes within certain areas of encompassing the source and destination, respectively. In this paper, it is given that ELPR provides various degrees of location privacy while PCM(Periodic Collection Method) allows the only fixed level. Simulation results show that as the number of nodes or data packets increases ELPR permits in terms of the number of generated packets more cost-effective location privacy than PCM.
An Enhanced Adaptive Power Control Mechanism for Small Ethernet Switch

Ethernet is the most widely deployed access network protocol around the world. IEEE 802.3az WG released the EEE standard based on LPI mode to improve the energy efficiency of Ethernet. This paper proposes improved adaptive power control mechanism that can enhance energy-efficiency based on EEE from small Ethernet switch. The feature of this mechanism is that it predicts the traffic characteristic of next cycle by measuring the amount of traffic flowing in during certain period and adjusts the optimal threshold value to relevant traffic load. Performance evaluation results indicate that the proposed mechanism improves overall performance compared to traditional mechanism, since it significantly reduces energy consumption rate, even though average packet delay increases a little bit.
A Novel Clustering Method with Time Interval for Context Inference based on the Multi-sensor Data Fusion

Time variation is the essential component of the context awareness. It is a beneficial way not only including time lapse but also clustering time interval for the context inference using the information from sensor mote. In this study, we proposed a novel way of clustering based multi-sensor data fusion for the context inference. In the time interval, we fused the sensed signal of each time slot, and fused again with the results of th first fusion. We could reach the enhanced context inference with assessing the segmented signal according to the time interval at the Dempster-Shafer evidence theory based multi-sensor data fusion.
A study on inspection system for brake pad

In this paper, we propose to develop an inspection system that recognizes surface cracks on the brake pad and the types of brake pads of each car during the production process, on a conveyor belt. The brake pad is made from a mixture of materials, using high-heat and pressure. Therefore, the brake pad can be cracked and damaged on the surface during production. Our goal is to develop an effective detection system and application software to detect substandard product. A shadow is generated when the artificial light shines on the damaged of the surface of pad. Using the computer vision algorithm that is proposed we can detect the substandard product. Results from experiments confrim the performance of the proposed algorithm.
An Inferencing Semantics from the Image Objects

With the increase of multimedia information such as images, researches have been realized on how to extract the high-level semantic information from low-level visual information, and a variety of techniques have been proposed to generate this information automatically. However, most of these technologies extract the semantic information between single images, it's difficult to extract semantic information when a combination of multiple objects within the image. In this paper, we extract the visual features of objects within the image and training images stored in the DB and the features of each object are defined by measuring the similarity. Using ontology reasoner, each object feature within images infers the semantic information by positional relation and associative relation. With this, it's possible to infer semantic information between objects within images, we proposed a method for inferring more complicated and a variety of high-level semantic information.
Psychology Analysis using Color Histogram Clustering

In recent, many researches have been studying sensitivity and psychology of human on color. Among them, a picture of children can be a tool to represent their emotion. Information of colors and direction on a child's picture often represent his internal psychological states unconsciously. In this paper, we propose the method that extract the color and direction information in order to analyze the psychology in the picture of children. Histogram clustering is used for color information detection. Direction information extract from inner edge value. In the result of experiments, we shows that our method is similar to the pattern classification of the general method.
Development and Implementation of Functions for Mobile Robot Navigation

This paper describes implementation of functions for mobile robot localization, which is one of the vital technologies for autonomous navigation of a mobile robot. There are several function libraries for mobile robot navigation. Some of them have limited applicability for practical use since they can be used only for simulation. Our research focuses on development of functions which can be used for localization of indoor robots. The functions implement deadreckoning and motion model of mobile robots, measurement model of range sensors, and frequently used calculations on angular directions. The functions encompass various types of robots and sensors. Also, various types of uncertainties in robot motion and sensor measurements are implemented so that the user can select proper ones for their use. The functions are tested and verified through simulation and experiments.
Vehicle Collision Avoidance Sensor with Interference Immunity to Own Transmitted Signal

Interference reduction method of vehicle collision avoidance sensor which is used for the low speed electric vehicle has been investigated. Various methods were attempted for the vehicle collision avoidance distance sensor, which received a transmitted signal from a front driving vehicle to measure the distance between two vehicles, to avoid interference by the own transmitter signal toward the rear following vehicle. In this study, -12dB of interference cancellation ratio was realized by using the phase cancellation method to the transmitted signal from the own vehicle. Proposed phase cancellation method is regarded to have the advantage of continuous monitoring in comparison to the conventional time sharing transmitting and receiving method.

This study is on the system that can integrate generator and charger to use as a welder and generator for need. Specifically, it was hybrid generator consisted with select switch to use generator controller and multiple function welder, that function were auto-stopping generator when generator power finish to recharge in recharger battery and Co2 MMA TIG MIG MAG are devide depend on supplying gas. This control system of voltage, high-frequency, motor and gas valve was implemented in order to improve the performance and convenience of existing welders to choose only one or two at a time.
Development of the Leakage Current Detection Module for a Concent

In this paper, the leakage current detection and auto shut-off module for a concent has been developed. Existing leakage current detection modules are detecting resistive leakage current, using a resistive leakage current detection chip but the proposed leakage current detection module separates and detects resistive leakage current in the synthesis leakage current by only programming in a power processor MCU(MSP430). The module implemented by proposed method has early detection and auto shut-off feature at more than resistive leakage current 5mA, and has the advantage of easily adjusting resistive leakage current less or more than 5mA, because of resistive leakage current detection function being implemented by a program in MCU.
Multipath Routing Method for QoS Support in WMSNs

Aside from the issues like energy saving and maximizing network lifetime. WMSN has another issue to deal with: support of quality of service(QoS) which is required especially for handling real-time data such as object tracking and data gathering. This paper proposes a multipath routing algorithm considering the distance to sink node, energy level and link quality of neighbour nodes. Proposed algorithm supports multipath routing path with high quality links. Hence it helps to reduce a power consumption concentration that happens in particular set of nodes along the frequently selected route. It also specifies a service quality pattern and a service quality level depending on traffic pattern. By doing this, the proposed algorithm can realize a differentiated service with QoS guaranteed data transmission.
Outdoor Augmented Reality based 3D Model Visualization System of Cultural Heritage Sites

Recently, at home and abroad cultural content industry has developed as the growing importance of history. Among them, the reconstruction contents area which combined with IT technology is attracting attention. Specially, using augmented reality technology, 3D visualization researches which restore contents of architectural heritage, cultural heritage sites, and artifacts have been performed in cultural content area. The existing cultural site restore contents are mostly made based on the images taken from indoor. In this paper, efficiently visualize the restore contents in indoor, but outdoors is limited. This theses presents the cultural heritage sites 3D model visualization system using augmented reality in outdoor. Proposed system augments 3D model to cultural heritage site in outdoor by using Smart Phone.
A Novel Method of Basic Probability Assignment Calculation with Signal Variation Rate

Dempster-Shafer Evidence Theory is available for multi-sensor data fusion. Basic Probability Assignment is essential for multi-sensor data fusion using Dempster-Shafer Theory. In this paper, we proposed a novel method of BPA calculation with signal assessment. We took notice of the signal that reported from the sensor mote at the time slot. We assessed the variation rate of the reported signal from the terminal. The trend of variation implies significant component of the context. We calculated the variation rate of signal for reveal the relation of the variation and the context. We could reach context inference with BPA that calculated with the variation rate of signal.
Study on Precise Positioning using Hybrid Track Circuit system in Metro

We have studied on the possibility of precise positioning using hybrid Track Circuit system. Hybrid Track Circuit uses RFID which replaces UHF. Hybrid Track Circuit is a part of next generation railroad signal system which is available to communicate with a railway on board system based on a realtime operating system. If applicate on a current hand operating subway, phenomenon caused by driver's mistake such as passing a stop without stopping or mismatch error between PSD and train door should be prevented.

This study aims to survey the influence of the internet-based real estate transaction systems used by the common people on their decision-making for buying the real estate. That is, the purpose of this study is to review how the system for selection of the real estate has influence on the decision-making for buying the real estate, by exerting influence on the customer-satisfaction. Also, I want to present a scheme for the more effective internet-based real estate transaction system so that the real estate agents may grasp the on-line real estate transaction system and understand the intention of the customers for buying, and thereby establish the active marketing strategy.
A Design of Low Cost Differential GPS System based on Web-Service

A variety of location-based services applications, such as missing children search, emergency rescue requests and so on that requiring high-precision location information are increasing. Precision of GPS that can be used in most systems, however, is still low. In this paper, we design and propose a low cost differential global positioning system(DGPS) based on Web services using object-oriented modeling technique which can offer useable location service, variety device and safe service in wireless environment. The proposed system is designed with UML based on object-oriented modeling to maximize system recyclability and system scalability. In addition, we would like to improve the precision of the GPS in accordance with mobile station location when build low cost mobile station, location differential framework and server. We implement a communication interface based on web-service which is available in the form of a variety of services and can offer stable according to mobile environments. Finally, as performance evaluation results, we can obtain precision location within 1 ~ 2m through proposed system and 88.5% probability of less than 2m.

In the real estate industry, job creation is dominated by SOC financial investment expansion. Financial investment like SOC can induce employment only if is executed as cost of equipment by setting the budget as a long-term project. In this study, a hypothesis was set regarding how the real estate industry affects job creation, and makes suggestions based on analysis of relational structure among variables through the research model.

Schools where adolescents spend most of their time should develop a variety of activity programs to encourage them to participate in more physical activities in physical education time, break time, lunch time, and after-school time. To support the direction, educational policy and students and parents' perception on physical education should be changed, and organized plans should be developed through cooperation with experts of communities.
