This thesis revolves around dual sensory therapy techniques using perception arts group counseling program focused on Popcorn Brain phenomenon. The program emphasizes intrinsic motivations for changes by activating the brain's dual sensory such as a sense of smell, tactile sensation and vision to deal with brain issues caused by digital devices addiction. Perception arts group counseling program is based on voluntary satisfaction of relationship desires, which can lead to a sense of accomplishment and belonging. Expression methods using dual sensory were presented as an alternative to resolving digital devices addiction by blending cognitive-behavioral counseling technique and group art therapy technique. The blending method offers an environment that can maintain a change to a senseless and lackluster brian due to excessive uses of digital devices, the main cause of Popcorn Brain, by emphasizing "thoughts
behavior" with a structural expression approach. If perception arts group counseling program is established in more systematic fashion and used strategically to offer such environment, it may be used as a treatment for brain issues described above. In addition, the program can be used a basis for encouraging voluntary treatment to satisfy relationship desires.

Design of slotted waveguide antenna with slot depth variation

We design a slotted waveguide antenna for X-band which a 1.4m length with slot depth variation. A 54 slot array is modeled and simulated by CST, and the side lobe level is suppressed effectively in a certain range of frequency. The experimental results of the antenna show that its gain, maximum sidelobe level and half power beam-width are 21.8dB, -31dB and 2.0deg, respectively.

Range resolution is important performance parameter to distinguish a target accurately. The destination of modern radar systems, to overcome the limitations of existing analog radar systems, is to improve the range resolution of the distance with low transmission power. For that reason, the research on pulse compression techniques is briskly studying. In the Receiver, modulation system of transmitted signal which has used in pulse compression technique is divided PM and FM to distinguish a target. In this paper, We analysed and designed the pulse compression signal processing module using the Baker Code which is the one of PM method's.
Synthesis of graphene and its application to thermal and surface modification

With the synthesis of graphene on Cu using CVD, it was tried to show the behavior of graphene growth depending on the size and orientation of Cu grain. It was found out that even under the same temperature and pressure the use of different gases influences on the diffusion rate of Cu. As compared to Ar gas, Cu grain growing bigger under
was resulted in bigger graphene grain. Corrosion resistance was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization test in room temperature and found out that the graphene on Cu was more stable in order of 10 than pure Cu due to the chemical stability of graphene. The future work of this research will focus on the synthesis of graphene having no defects including grain boundaries, and its engineering use.
Subband Based Spectrum Subtraction Algorithm

This paper first proposes a classification algorithm which detects a voiced, unvoiced, and silence signal using distance measure, logarithm power and root mean square methods at each frame, then a spectrum subtraction algorithm based on a subband filter. The proposed algorithm subtracts spectrums of white noise and street noise from noisy signal based on the subband filter at each frame. In this experiment, experimental results of the proposed spectrum subtraction algorithm demonstrate using the speech and noise data of Aurora-2 database. Based on measuring the speech-to-noise ratio (SNR), experiments confirm that the proposed algorithm is effective for the speech by contaminated the noise. From the experiments, the improvement in the output SNR values was approximately 2.1 dB and 1.91 dB better for white noise and street noise, respectively.
A Study on the Removal of Unusual Feature Vectors in Speech Recognition

Some of the feature vectors for speech recognition are rare and unusual. These patterns lead to overfitting for the parameters of the speech recognition system and, as a result, cause structural risks in the system that hinder the good performance in recognition. In this paper, as a method of removing these unusual patterns, we try to exclude vectors whose norms are larger than a specified cutoff value and then train the speech recognition system. The objective of this study is to exclude as many unusual feature vectors under the condition of no significant degradation in the speech recognition error rate. For this purpose, we introduce a cutoff parameter and investigate the resultant effect on the speaker-independent speech recognition of isolated words by using FVQ(Fuzzy Vector Quantization)/HMM(Hidden Markov Model). Experimental results showed that roughly 3%~6% of the feature vectors might be considered as unusual, and therefore be excluded without deteriorating the speech recognition accuracy.
An Efficient Smart Phone Applications Executing Method by ART2 Algorithm

With probably too many smart phone applications downloaded, it is sometimes frustrating to find frequently used applications quickly. In this paper, we propose a learning application that learns what applications a user frequently uses and match them with several signals that user designated. This learning applications uses ART2 algorithm that is good for stable real-time learning. By executing this learning application, a user simply chooses an application that is to be quickly searched and then draw a figure that would match the designated application at the upper left corner of our learning application. The proposed learning application transforms the background with 0's and the figure with 1's and normalize them to be used as inputs for ART2 and ART2 does clustering to setup a match table between applications and figures. After learning, a user simply draws a figure to execute one's frequently used application.
Map Building Using ICP Algorithm based a Robot Position Prediction

This paper proposes a map building using the ICP algorithm based robot localization prediction. Proposed method predicts a robot location to dead reckoning, makes a map in the ICP algorithm. Existing method makes a map building and robot position using a sensor value of reference data and current data. In this case, a large interval of the difference of the reference data and the current data is difficult to compensate. The proposed method can map correction through practical experiments.
An Implementation of Vector Control of AC Servo Motor based on Optical-EtherCAT Network

In this paper we propose implement technique of vector current control in order to verify performance of an AC servo driver that is able to easy control of motion with multi-axis in the robot. In doing do, we have developed the AC servo driver to driving PMSM, and then we confirm that this driver whether operating or not normally by controlling of vector current. The vector current control was performed at the no load condition in PMSM. Then we compare command control and tracking control. As a result of verification, we recognize we get a satisfactory result.
Classification for landfast sea ice types in Greenland with texture analysis images

Remote sensing of SAR images is suitable for sea ice observations to obtain the sea ice data if clouds or weather conditions change. There are various types of sea ice, classification results can be seen more easily to detect the change by types of sea ice. In this study, we classified the image by supervised classification method, which is minimum distance was used. Also, we compared the overall accuracy when compared to the results with classification result of SAR images and the result of texture images. When using Radarsat-2 texture images, the overall accuracy was the highest, generally, when using the SAR images had higher overall accuracy.
A Key-Frame Extraction Method based on HSV Color Model for Smart Vehicle Management System

Currently, registered number of imported vehicles is increasing rapidly over the years. Accordingly, environment improvements of vehicle maintenance company for maintenance of luxury vehicle such as imported vehicle are continuously being made. In this paper, we propose a key frame extraction method based on HSV color model for smart vehicle management system implementation to offer for customer reliability of maintenance vehicle. After automatically recognize the license plates of the vehicle using vehicle license plate recognition system when the vehicle come in the car center, we check the repair history and request of the vehicle based on it. We implement mobile services which provide extracted key frame images to the user after extract key frames from vehicle repair video. In addition, we verify the superiority of key frame extraction method by applying a smart vehicle management system. Finally, we convert the RGB color to HSV color to improve the performance of proposed key frame extraction scheme. As a result, we confirmed that our scheme is more excellence about 30% in terms of recall than RGB color model from the performance evaluations.
A Study on Securities of Cryptosystems for Hierarchic Groups

A cryptography for enforcing hierarchic groups in a system where hierarchy is represented by a partially ordered set was introduced by Akl et al. But the key generation algorithm of Akl et al. is infeasible when there is a large number of users. To overcome this shortage, in 1985, MacKinnon et al. proposed a paper containing a condition which prevents cooperative attacks and optimizes the assignment. In 2005, Kim et al. proposed the key management systems for using one-way hash function, RSA algorithm, poset dimension and Clifford semigroup in the context of modern cryptography, the key management system using Clifford semigroup of imaginary quadratic non-maximal orders. We, in this paper, show that Kim et al. cryptosystem is insecure in some reasons and propose a revised cryptosystem.
Developing a Smart Pillbox to Improve the Medication Adherence of the Patients Requiring a Long-term administration

Although tuberculosis can be recovered if patients take medicine consistently, Korea shows significantly high rate in terms of incident rate and death rate of the tuberculosis patients. Considering such a situation, this paper has developed a smart pillbox that facilitates for patients requiring a long-term administration to take medicine in a regular and consistent manner. The developed smart pillbox is equipped with a load cell that can measure the weight in unit of 0.1g so that it can determine whether or not the medicine is dispensed out of itself. In addition, a software has been developed to determine the status of patient's taking medicine based on the measurement result.
The Effect of 3 Balance Training Programs on Improving Capabilities of Balancing among Some Female Students

This study was conducted to compare the effect improving balance abilities of 3 balance training programs by randomized intervention trial. Study subjects were 29 female students recruited from a university in Gwanju, who allocated randomly to 3 intervention groups, aqua group(modified Halliwick 10 point program, N=10), visual bio-feedback balance training group(N=10), and balance-pad plus trampolin group(N=9). As the results of repeated musure ANOVA, Wilcoxon signed rank test, major research findings were as follows; 1. Regarding SI or BIEMG measured at upright posture on hard platform, bio-feedback group under the condition with opening both eye and aqua group under the condition with closing both eye showed signigicant improvement in balance ability, respectively. 2. Regarding SI or BIEMG measured at upright posture on soft platform, bio-feedback group under the condition with opening both eye and aqua group under the condition with closing both eye showed signigicant improvement in balance ability, respectively. 3. Regarding all 3 sensory ratios, bio-feedback group showed significantly higher increasement in them than other 2 groups. The results suggested that visual bio-feedback training program improve the all 3 sensory functions required for balancing, and aqua training modified from Halliwick 10 point program contribute to improve vestibular function principally.
A Study of Prevalence and Related Risk Factors of Osteoporosis for Employees

Background and Objectives: The study was performed to investigate the status of osteoporosis for S electronics workers in H hospital of G city form April 21 to May 31 2008. Material and Method: The result of this research is following. Results: As results of osteoporosis analysis based on general characteristic, for men, something of 21 was the most frequent and osteoporosis of 13 was the second most frequent, and for women, good of 12 was the most frequent and care was the second most. The results concludes that men have more problems with osteoporosis that women have. In age of 40 years or more, care level of 24(88.9%) was the most frequent and good level of 15 people was the second most. This result concludes that age of 40 year is target subjects for care. In position, senior has 14 people who have care level(42.4%) and 8 people(24.2%)of osteoporosis level. The result concludes than the senior has more osteoporosis than the employ has. Conclusion: In conclusion, the age, position, weight are related to osteoporosis.
The Relationship between Metabolic Syndrome and Quality of Life in Korean Adult Women

Metabolic syndrome is the most important risk factors of cardiovascular diseases So, it is judged that Quality of life of persons with metabolic syndrome inevitably deteriorate. For the purpose, the study aims to analyse the number of risk factors, and the relationship between abnormality of each risk factor and Quality of life, targeting adult women aged more than 19. For this study, data from the National Health and Nutrition Behavior Survey in 2007 and 2008 were incorporated and 4,365 subjects were collected for the study. Version 17.0 SPSS was used for data analysis. Statistical significance was defined as p<0.05. As a result of the study, the prevalence rate of metabolic syndrome was 24.2%. According to the number of risk factors of metabolic syndrome the regression coefficient of Quality of life was -0.024 when the number of risk factor was one, -0.048 when there were two risk factors, -0.090 when there were three risk factors, -0.117 when there were four risk factors, and -0.168 when there were five risk factors. The regression coefficient(abnormal/normal)of risk factors of metabolic syndrome were as follows; Waist circumference -0.035, Blood pressure was -0.064, Fasting glucose was -0,026 and HDL cholesterol was -0.012. In conclusion, as it was discovered that risk factors of metabolic syndrome had significant relations with Quality of life, it is suggested that the relations between some significant variables and Quality of life should be actively considered so that adult women can perceive metabolic syndrome properly and endeavor to improve their Quality of life.
Relation of Physical Activities and Metabolic Syndrome in Postmenopausal Women

This study aims to discover the relations between physical activities and metabolic syndrome in postmenopausal women, in order to present basic data for health promotion of patients with metabolic syndrome. Based on Year 2 data of the 4th Korean National Health Nutrition Examination Survey, this study discovered that the prevalence rate of metabolic syndrome of the Korean women at the menopause was significantly higher as they got older and they had less physical activities. To keep their health and prevent from metabolic syndrome, it is suggested that further research is needed to develop physical activity programs for which preferences of patients and their restrictions are considered and verify the effects.
