Fast Encoding Algorithm of Low Density Codes

In this paper, we consider the encoding scheme of low density codes. In particular, we propose the fast encoding algorithm of the low density codes using circulant permutation matrices, The fast encoding algorithm is similar to the fast Hadamard transform, and the results show that the proposed scheme is a simple and fast encoding algorithm of the low density codes.

Design of Circular Ring Antenna with Half-Circular Strip for WLAN/WiMAX Applications

In this paper, a dual-band circular ring monopole antenna with semi-circular strip for WLAN(Wireless Local Area Networks)/WiMAX(World interoperability for Microwave Access) applications. The proposed antenna is based on a planar monopole design, and composed of half circular strip for dual-band operation which cover WLAN and WiMAX frequency bands. To obtain the optimized parameters, we used the simulator, Ansoft`s High Frequency Structure Simulator(HFSS) and found the parameters that greatly effect antenna characteristics. Using the obtained parameters, the antenna is fabricated. The numerical and experiment results demonstrated that the proposed antenna satisfied the -10 dB impedance bandwidth requirement while simultaneously covering the WLAN and WiMAX bands. And characteristics of gain and radiation patterns are obtained for WLAN/WiMAX frequency bands.
High power X-band SSPA Design using Gysel Power Combiner

Necessity of compact X-band solid-state weather radar is required to provide weather data, which generate locally in a lot of Korea`s mountainous area, rather than tube-type radar. Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for using Dual-polarization method in weather radar is able to obtain desired high output by combining many low output power devices in parallel. Thus, Power combiner applying to high-output power amplifier has disadvantages such as path loss, ballast resistance problem by high frequency and high power, heat release. Therefore, In this paper we demonstrated the excellence of isolation, which is the result from modified Gysel power combiner. As a result, we designed X-band 250W solid state power amplifier with peak power 54dBm, 25% power efficiency for weather radar.

The demanding in construction of the stand-alone networks and interconnection between convergence devices have led an increase in research on MANET and the application of MANET has been paid much attention as a Ubiquitous computing which is growing fast in the field of computer science. With performance both as hosts and routers, easy network configuration, and fast response, mobile nodes participating in MANET are suitable for Embedded computing but have vulnerable points, about lack of dynamic network topology due to mobility, network scalability, passive attacks, and active attacks which make it impossible to manage continuous security authentication service. In this study, proposes S-EKE authentication mechanism for a robust authentication based on MANET and through identify wireless environment security vulnerabilities, currently being used in OTP S/Key and DH-EKE analyzes.

This study introduces about the analysis, verification and implementation of Digital Communication Satellite transponder. Through the pre-performance analysis of each component by the circuit level simulation, each component`s performance was checked whether satisfying the specifications. When each of the components was connected in order, System`s performances were evaluated through system harmonic balanced simulation whether satisfying the specifications. Through pre-analysis of the system performance, specification of each component was defined. On the basis of that specification, Components which comprise the Digital Communication Satellite repeater were manufactured, and finally, the overall system performance check was made by integrating the components of Digital Communication Satellite transponder.
A New Functional Synthesis Method for Macro Quantum Circuits Realized in Affine-Controlled NCV-Gates

Recently most of functional synthesis methods for quantum circuit realization have a tendency to adopt the declarative functional expression more suitable for computer algorithms, so it`s difficult to analysis synthesized quantum functions. This paper presents a new functional representation of quantum circuits compatible with simple architecture and intuitive thinking. The proposal of this paper is a new functional synthesis development by using the control functions as the power of corresponding to affine-controlled quantum gates based on the mathematical substitution of serial-product matrix operation over the target line for the arithmetic and modulo-2 ones between power functions of unitary operators. The functional synthesis algorithm proposed in this paper is useful for the functional expressions and synthesis using both of reversible and irreversible affine-controlled NCV-quantum gates.

This paper presents seamless hand off implementation suggesting algorithm and Measuring /testing at the tunnel environment in order to derive the ideal value of wireless data transmission in RF-CBTC train control system modeled by Shinbundang Operation System. In addition, it proposes the ideal value(-57dB) for reducing the re-transmission or frequency interference rate and demonstrates frequency optimization which enables highly reliable data communication in Train control system using wireless communications. Based on these result, Shinbundang phase 2 plan to apply to this system.

In this paper, we have implemented mobile based smart greenhouse system that can grasp and control the situation for greenhouse from distance. Using existing web based greenhouse system is controlled in real time, but it has a drawback used in limited place. To solve this problem, we have emphasized usability of smart greenhouse system by using mobile device. By using mobile devices (smartphones - the Android based) software we have to raise the comfort and productivity for grasping and controling the situation for greenhouse from distance.

This research intends to analyze the implications of current adult guidance system from an angle of people with developmental disabilities in an sudden changed information age. Through it, this research intends to seek improvement of adult guardian system for people with developmental disabilities, a main group of the system, from an angle different from the aged. It focuses on significance and improvement for the significance of adult guardian system for people with developmental disabilities, which are weak for self-decision. Furthermore, for the improvements, this system should be able to be information exchange and communities through the using internet in the cyber space.
The analysis of the impact of the wireless channel quality on the quality of experience (QoE) through statistical analysis

As internet services are being provided through a wireless access, the importance of quality of experience (QoE) is stressed that is defined as the quality that indicates user`s actual feeling when a service is provided. Unlike quality of service (QoS) that can be expressed as a numerical value, it is difficult to represent QoE in an objective way. If an internet service is serviced over a wireless channel, its QoE can be affected by a number of factors such as fading, mobility and so on. This paper, therefore, attempts to specify the relationship between QoE and QoS by conducting practical measurements for the voice service through 3G high speed packet access (HSPA) access network. Analysing the measured results, it has been shown that received signal strength indicator (RSSI) has a great influence on mean opinion score (MOS) through transmission delay.

In this paper, we implemented a LED sensitivity illumination system, being driven in response to changes in the biological signals of GSR and PPG signal. After measuring biological signals of a human body from GSR and PPG sensor modules, MCU decided the state of relaxation or arousal of the subject, being based on the wake relaxation identifying map proposed in this paper. A developed LED sensitivity illumination system makes the subject to reach a normal state by giving a change of the LED illumination color, corresponding to a state of the subject.

In this study, the `preservation of Jeonju Hanok Village Improvement Project` in earnest in promoting itself as the official land price changes in Jeonju Hanok Village and surrounding area thereby affect land prices to some extent in order to identify the time series analysis, t-black dispersion analysis showed the following results were obtained. First, time series analysis, and the Hanok Village, but the average official land price rises, and the area has been stead ilyrising. Second, the time series of the Official price year-over-year change in the average rate of the Hanok Village(+)rising, and the area is a gentle rise sooner or later (+)is expected to be an increase in conversion. Third, the number of tourists visiting Jeonju Hanok Village and sharply increased since 2008, was. A Study on Design of 50kW PMSG for Micro-grid Application

In this paper, the 50kW aerogenerator which is applicable to the microgrid was designed and analyzed by using commercial simulation program Maxwell 2D. Particularly, the suggested PMSG to reduce the cogging torque introduced the offset and skew concept. The suggested optimal value of offset and skew was decided by 2mm and 60 degree of electric angle. The simulation results of the PMSG when load operation condition showed the average harmonic distortion 1.3%, voltage 322.41V, current 94.95A, and iron loss 9.73W, eddy current loss 73.68W, copper loss 3.52kW. The capacity of aerogenerator calculated 61.56kW, and the suggested design process can be applied to higher capacity generator.

Track circuit is a simple electrical device which lies in the connection of the two rails by the wheels and axle of locomotives and rolling stock to short out an electrical circuit, used to detect the absence of a train on rail tracks. In railway signaling system, there are similar systems such as RFID and wheel sensor, GPS etc, are research and developing. Hybrid track circuit is using RFID antenna and reader on the cab and RFID tag on the sleeper. because of the safety in railway operation, tag detection of train position detection function in the hybrid track circuit needs high reliability. This paper studied tag recognition enhancement used tag angles.
