An Ontology Architecture for Interoperability of Ontologies

Ontologies are expected in various areas as promising tools to improve communication among people and to achieve interoperability among systems. For communications between different business domains, building an ontology through integrating existing ontologies is more efficient way than building the ontology without them. However, integration of ontologies is very struggling work since languages, domains, and structures of ontologies are different from each other. In this paper, we suggest an Ontology Architecture which solves this problem by providing a systematic framework to classify ontologies from three kinds of viewpoints : language, domain range, constructs. The Ontology Architecture consists of 3 axes according to the 3 viewpoints : Ontology Meta Layer axis, Semantic Domain Layer axis, and Ontology Constructs Layer axis. Because 3 axes in Ontology Architecture are designed to improve the syntactic and semantic interoperability among ontologies, the integration of ontologies can be readily achieved.
A Study on Security Level-based Authentication for Supporting Multiple Objects in RFID Systems

RFID systems provide technologies of automatic object identification through wireless communications in invisible ranges and adaptability against various circumstances. These advantages make RFID systems to be applied in various fields of industries and individual life. However, it is difficult to use tags with distinction as tags are increasingly used in life because a tag usually stores only one object identifier in common RFID applications. In addition, RFID systems often make serious violation of privacy caused by various attacks because of their weakness of radio frequency communication. Therefore, information sharing methods among applications are necessary for expansive development of RFID systems. In this paper, we propose efficient RFID scheme. At first, we design a new RFID tag structure which supports many object identifiers of different applications in a tag and allows those applications to access them simultaneously. Secondly, we propose an authentication protocol to support the proposed tag structure. The proposed protocol is designed by considering of robustness against various attacks in low cost RFID systems. Especially, the proposed protocol is focused on efficiency of authentication procedure by considering security levels of applications. In the proposed protocol, each application goes through one of different authentication procedures according to their security levels. Finally, we prove efficiency of th proposed scheme compared with the other schemes through experiments and evaluation.
An OTP(One Time Password) Generation Method Using the Features of Fingerprint

As the applications within Internet becoming more extensive, the security issues of those applications are appearing to be the most important concern. We have to be sure if all elements of the system are robust and perform well. Even if some small part of the system is vulnerable, it might cause the total system crash-down. Therefore, every part of the system should be thoroughly designed and mutually coordinated in order to support overall security of the system. In this paper, we propose new technique which uses the fingerprint features in order to generate one time passwords(OTPs). Fingerprint is considered to be one of the powerful personal authentication factors and it can be used for generating variable passwords for one time use. Also we performed a simulation for proposed password generation method.
A Research on Viewer's Perception, Activity, and Satisfaction about TV as a New-media

TV has changed from simple broadcast media to integrated media that can operate multiple-function So, TV has offered various services and users are using their control on TV. However, TV is still passive media in social stereotype, these change brings viewers a lot of confusion. In this study, we conducted a survey about viewer's activity, perception and satisfaction of TV to understand view's watching pattern. We hope our research will be used to understand the gap of TV and viewers.
A Research on Improving the National Qualification System for Software Industry

In order to promote software industry, it is essential to train and utilize specialized software human resources in the industry. It is required to establish an appropriate qualification system for the industry in order to train and utilize the qualified human resources. The current national qualification system in the IT area cannot cope with the development of software industry and does not provide various qualifications required to the software workers. We analyze the problems of the current national qualification system for the software industry and propose a framework for improving the qualification system. Based on the review of the software skill standard and a range of technology levels, we suggest a new integrated qualification system that provides a variety of qualifications for various software skills at various levels. Also we propose policy alternatives for institutionalizing the new qualification system.
