A Rule-based JMS Message Routing System for Dynamic Message Communication in based Distributed Systems

Today's computing environment which is getting distributed to communicate with various systems needs dynamic inter-connectivity of the systems. MOM(Message Oriented Middleware) is popularly used for transmitting XML messages among the distributed systems for the inter-connectivity. But, they do not support event-based message routing functionalities with XML transformation for processing effective message routing, which is essential to inter-connectivity, and there is no integrated platform to cope with these requirements. Although event-based message routing and XML transformation have been studied in a wide range of computer science areas, development of message routing systems is considered as a tough job due to the technological difficulties. In order to address these requirements, we proposed a novel system, named RMRS(Rule-based Message Routing System), which supports event-based message routing as well as XML message transformation. To make the proposed system easy to use, we also redesigned ECA(Event- Condition-Action) rule to fit in our system and developed a tool to map source XML structure into target XML structure.
Applying RSS Marketing on Internet Shopping Malls Based on AISAS Model

The area of the internet shopping mall heavily relies on new emerging information technologies, and it essentially requires delicate marketing model to support consumer behavior. RSS, which is one of the representative Web 2.0 technologies, is the system that distributes digital contents without any Web browser. RSS is expected not only to be very useful in online marketing but also to become actively applied on various areas such as online newspapers and blogs. AISAS model was proposed to complement the AIDMA model that did not cover the new changing customer behaviors of online commerce environment such as search and share. In this research, we propose a marketing model which utilizes RSS based on the AISAS model to support internet shopping malls. With our marketing model, internet shopping malls are expected to provide required services to the customers at every AISAS step. Moreover, it can provide integrated services by connecting all service components of each step. We utilized RSS in our model to implement those services because RSS has many advantages on supporting search and share of product information.
A Method for Business Process Analysis by using Decision Tree

The Business Process Management System(BPMS) has received more attentions as companies increasingly realize the importance of business processes. However, traditional BPMS has focused mainly on correct modeling and exact automation of process flow, and paid little attention to the achievement of final goals of improving process efficiency and innovating processes. BPMS usually generates enormous amounts of log data during and after execution of processes, where numerous meaningful rules and patterns are hidden. In the present study we employ the data mining technique to find out useful knowledge from the complicated process log data. A data model and a system framework for process mining are provided to help understand the existing BPMS. Experiments with the simulated data demonstrate the effectiveness of the model and the framework.
The Performance Evaluation of New Web Caching with Related Content using Colored Petri Net Simulation

Web caching server is one of the important components of any web site, as it makes the access of users to web content much faster while balancing the network and server load. There are many caching approaches proposed in order to solve this problem. Classically, we know several caching algorithms like FIFO, LRU, LRU-min and etc. Most of them have their advantages and disadvantages based on specific context. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the new concept of caching objects along with their related content and test the performance of the proposed caching method using CPN Tools simulator program. It is generally known that the use of Colored Petri Nets(CPNs) for modeling the simulation of new idea is one of the popular methods of system evaluation throughout software development projects. Moreover it could be very handy in describing the overall logic of the system. The CPN Tools is one of the most robust simulator programs which supports all necessary tools and functions to build and run the simulation model for CPN. Therefore in this paper, we will use CPN Tools software in order to build a simulator for our innovative caching approach named as web caching with related content. Then we will analyze the results derived from the simulation of our model and will make corresponding conclusions.
A Study on Methodology for Efficient Ontology Reasoning in the Semantic Web

The semantic web is taken as next generation standards of information exchange on the internet to overcome the limitations of the current web. To utilize the information on the semantic web, tools are required the functionality of query search and reasoning for the ontology. However, most of semantic web management tools cannot efficiently support the search for the complex query because they apply Triple-based storage structure about RDF metadata. We design the storage structure of the ontology in corresponding with the structure of ontology data and develop the search system(SMART-DLTriple) to support complex query search efficiently in this research. The performance of the system using new storage structure is evaluated to compare with the popular semantic web management systems. The proposed method and system make a contribution to enhancement of a practical ontology reasoning systems due to improved performance of the ontology search.
An Advanced Evaluation Process for National R&D Projects based on Global Standards

Over the last two decades, national R&D projects have been increased rapidly. The government has tried to improve the success of national R&D projects. But the weakness of the evaluation process for national R&D projects, there remains some problems. In order to solve those problems this study proposed an advanced evaluation process of national R&D projects on the basis of ISO/IEC15288, ISO/IEC12207 and ISO/IEC14598. The evaluation process consists of preparing evaluation, establishing evaluation requirements, specifying evaluation, designing evaluation, executing evaluation and reporting evaluation. The evaluation process is an artifact-oriented process. The results of this study can be used for reforming the evaluation process of national R&D projects.
A Study on the Railroad Logistics Information Standardization and Information System Improvement

Railroad logistics transporting freight by train takes charge of 10 or 20 percent of domestic cargos. Railroad logistics users such as transport companies including shippers or Inland Container Depot(ICD) use electronic document(EDI or XML) or input data through WEB to process railroad logistics business. However, as business environments evolving into e-business, it is required to upgrade the legacy railroad logistics process. As the increase of using ebXML-based schema format, it is also needed to improve the electronic documents based on DTD format into those of XML schema format. This study deals with information standard for railroad logistics to improve the railroad logistics business. To this purpose railroad business processes were re-defined through the standard business process modeling methodology. Information model was also derived by defining railroad logistics activities from business process model. And Business Information Entities(BIEs) were defined to design new electronic documents according to the extracted information model. An improved system architecture for railroad logistics was proposed as well. The results of this study will provide an effective and flexible business flow to railroad logistics business.
Design Factors Influencing the Perceived Trustworthiness in E-commerce Websites

Customer's trust is one of major competitiveness sources along with price in Internet Web-based B2C e-commerce business. In general, trust is defined as the attitude that is established by a trustor when trustworthiness exists in a trustee and is perceived by a trustor. Designing e-commerce websites is important in that e-commerce website is understood as a means of constructing perceived trustworthiness and delivering it to customers. In this study 50 participants were interviewed and total of 831 participants responded to the survey questionnaire to investigate design factors influencing the perceived trustworthiness in e-commerce websites. Nine design factors were derived as the perceived trustworthiness-related design factors, and only six out of nine design factors were found as having significant effects on the perceived trustworthiness of e-commerce websites. In addition, the significant design factors were different according to gender and ages of e-commerce customers.
Research of Knowledge Worker Productivity Elevation in Knowledge Management Environment : Based on Thought of Peter F. Drucker

Center of labor power was moved from physical labor to knowledge labor on modern knowledge society comparing with past industrial age, but dramatic result is not appearing in knowledge worker's productivity. "Peter F. Drucker" called "father of modern business management" is essential factor of knowledge labor based on expert, performance, concentration, own administration official, second half of life. And studied about task, reform, autonomy, education, quality, relation of information communication that is knowledge worker's productivity determinant factor. As research result, was expose that relativity is high by performance>concentration>own administration official>expert, second half of life in essential factor of knowledge labor. Specially, all productivity determinants and effect factor were performance by result to knowledge worker. Therefore, knowledge worker can expect formation's target and performance though search and practical use of continuous information are achieved in own field.
Development of a Process Centered RFID Cost-Benefit Analysis Model and Tool

While many success stories are reported in the area of RFID applications, actual RFID deployments in industry are being realized a lot slower than expected. One of the main reasons for that is the lack of decision makers' understanding on the RFID ROI. In this research we drew a comprehensive list of cost and benefit items regarding RFID deployments especially for distribution and retail industry. In addition, we mapped these cost/benefit items to corresponding SCOR processes so that users can easily utilize the suggested cost-benefit analysis model when they want to improve their own processes using the RFID technology. The developed cost-benefit analysis model was implemented as a software tool for convenient use. Our research results can be used not only for those who want to evaluate the RFID technology prior to actual deployment but also by the researchers in this area.
