Design and Implementation of Web-based Monitoring System for an EAI Environment

EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) as an infrastructure of application integration had played an important role for many companies to make epochal changes, expense reduction, and new application services. The continuous monitoring and management of data covering whole environment of system operations should be well-supported so that the data consistency and system stability are guaranteed to implement and operate the services effectively. In this paper, the requirements and functions of monitoring system are defined for the stable EAI service. An actual web-based system is designed and implemented. This web-based monitoring system is broadly applicable to general EAI environments.
The Development of a Real Estate Multi-Attribute Integrated Search System

This study presents a new retrieval system developed to consider various preferential requirements for buyers in the real estate market. The paper analyses essential factors affecting the price of real estate and then a set of factors are classified by region-related factor and individual-related factor. After endowing the buyer's selected factors with weights in the retrieval system, the optimal solutions have been drawn by comparing with the others through an entropy measure of Multi-attribute Decision Making. This retrieval system is applied to the Busan real estate market to estimate the solutions of retrieval. Evaluation results indicate that the retrieval system can provide useful information to analyse the price determination factors of real estate, as well as to save the searching cost of the buyers.
Process-based e-Catalog Data Quality Management

As electronic commerce becomes more common and the data volume of e-catalog increases, a systematic approach to data quality management is being required. Upon the necessity, we propose a process-based framework for e-catalog data quality management. This is the methodology for data management and improvement activities continuously performed to satisfy the expectation of industry to e-catalog systems. In the framework, contents for quality management consist of data, quality management items, and quality management processes. These are again subdivided according to organization levels, i.e, user, data administrator, and chief information officer.
A Study on the Design of u-Safety Service and Monitoring Infrastructure

By the time the interest on the u-City is continuously growing as a test bed for verifying the potentials of ubiquitous convergence industries, research on the u-Safety gradually increases as well, as a typical service and application area of u-City. Like the other service areas of u-City, in order to provide u-Safety services smoothly, it is crucial to integrally connect u-City services and infrastructures that have operated under distributed environment. In this study, we suggest an approach for design of u-Safety service and monitoring architecture by combing CIM/WBEM standard with GMA. CIM/WBEM and GMA are broadly applied in the distributed resource monitoring environment and are widely recognized as data acquisition architecture under massive monitoring data volumes respectively. Considering the growing research needs for standardization and extension of u-City service infrastructure, it is expected that our integrated infrastructure model will be used as a reference model for effective integration of distributed resources with newly added services.
Implementation of Business Logic Framework for Collaboration of Heterogeneous Service Systems in RFID/USN Environment

Nowadays the research and development of various middleware for the ubiquitous computing environment has been demanded and many application services have been provided. The practical ubiquitous computing environment is the world where a variety of services based on RFID/USN devices are integrated with each other and make synergy effects all together. In the end user perspectives, there should be a middleware platform and business logic framework collaborating various services all together to satisfy the user requirements. In addition, the platform should provide the user to describe a scenario based on various event to maximize the collaboration. In this paper, we have proposed business logic framework which is supporting collaboration between heterogeneous service systems based on the user's scenario. We have also tried to show the efficiency and scalability of the proposed framework by providing the result of a couple of tests.
Individual and Organizational Effect of IT Human Resources on Career Satisfaction, Career Prospects and Career Commitment

This paper investigates the effect of individual and organizational factors of IT human resources on their career satisfaction, career prospect and career commitment. In this paper, a quantitative method was used to study the effect; A survey of IT developers and IT related employees was conducted. Factor analyses and regression analyses were used in verifying the consequences. As a result, followings were found：From the individual perspective, the self-esteem of IT human resource showed the most significant effect on career satisfaction and the desire for career success had significant effect on career commitment. Among organizational factors, the fairness of evaluation showed the most significant effect on both career prospect and career commitment. It has been also shown that organizations should provide more opportunities for individual growth to enhance career prospect. Finally, career prospect affected career satisfaction; Both career satisfaction and career prospect showed effect on career commitment. This research provided guidelines in enhancing the career commitment of IT human resources, thereby effectively managing IT human resources.
e-Business Manpower Classification That is Correct in New Environment and Study of Course Roadmap Development for Manpower Training

The person who realize e-business must understand Information Technology(IT) and business process. Current policy and system should be attained new change for domestic e-business manpower training. Divided for manpower training in new dimension justice about present e-business manpower and manpower classification. The capacity about course of study of e-business manpower and program development classified in a new comer, expert, administrator, manager's process. And the process divided ten details job according to business and functions that achieve in enterprise and major in university. Present capacity that needs in details line of duty by ASK(Attitude, Skill, Knowledge) model and focused for program development.
Association Based Reasoning Method Using Rescorla-Wagner Model and Galton Free Association Test for Augmented Reality E-Commerce

Natural interface is important to select and provide the services in ubiquitous smart space such as u-plant, u-distribution. Augmented Reality(AR) has recently begun to receive attention as a realization tool for natural interface. AR provides virtual object on real environment and it differs from virtual reality. When AR is used, it has advantage to provide information intuitively and collaboratively. However AR is rarely used in e-commerce domain of ubiquitous smart space, and it has limitation which predefined information and services provide in a static manner. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology of AR based e-commerce which provides personalized association service by considering user's dynamic context. To do so, association algorithm is developed based on Rescorla-Wagner model and Galton's free association test.
Software Size Measurement from Information Strategy Planning With the Function Point Method

Many companies and governments perform information technology (IT) projections repeatedly for higher competitiveness and efficiency. Moreover, as the sizes of IT projects increase, the manpower and cost estimation of the projects are getting more important. In this research, we present a size estimation method of information system development projects on the basis of the function point method at the stage of information strategy planning(ISP), and illustrate the size calculation of an example IT project. According to the method, we first identify the types of projects, the scope and boundaries of size estimation, then count data and transaction functions from the artifacts of the ISP project. The unadjusted function points are adjusted to function point by the table of the Early Function Point. The way of calculating the sizes of IT projects will support successful IT projects by estimating reasonable manpower and cost for the projects.
An Implementation of Audit System Applying Forensic Analysis Technology over Network Nodes

As the situations that important evidences or clues are found in digital information devices increase, digital forensic technology is widely applied. In this paper, forensic based audit system is implemented by associating forensic analysis system with agent system which monitors and collects data for analysis in storage devices over distributed network nodes. Forensic audit system implemented in this paper can prevent, audit and trace the computer related crimes in IT infrastructure by real time monitoring and evidence seizure.
