A Research on the Interconnection Model of Central Registry/Repository

The first edition of ebXML which aims at unimarket was announced at May 1 of 2001. OASIS continues working on the framework of ebXML, and UN/CEFACT does on the contents. In our country, 30 vertical B2B markets are being constructed and most of them adopted ebXML as their main standard. In this situation, we need to make a guideline which can interconnect individual vertical B2B systems. In our study, we propose an architecture for i) Central Registry/Repository for the interconnection of between vertical B2Bs, between ebXML and non-ebXML, and between nations. ii) Information modeling for interconnection. iii) Distributed modeling. We hope our work could be extended by following discussion of academical and industrial researchers.
Research Trends of Collaborative Business Processes

A business process is classified into two processes; the private process which is implemented within an enterprise and the public process which is implemented between enterprises. The public process commonly used for B2B e-business is defined as a collaborative business process. To date, the collaborative business process has been studied in various aspects. We have categorized the research trends into two viewpoints, i.e., EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) and B2Bi (business to business Integration). In this paper, research trends in inter-organizational workflow are analyzed from the EAI point of view, and research trends in message-based business process and transactions from the B2Bi point of view.

Electronic Commerce Using on Case & Rule Based Reasoning Agent

With the gradual growth of the electronic commerce various forms of shopping malls are constructed, and their searching methods and function are studied many ways. However, the recent outcome is still inadequate to search for goods for the tastes and demands of customers. To construct the shopping mall on the electronic commerce and help customers with purchasing goods, the efficient interface for the customers to contact the shopping malls should be founded and the customers should be able to search the goods they want. Therefore, in this paper, we designed the Intelligent Integration Agent System (IIAS) using the multi-agent formed by the integration agent which integrates the case based reasoning(CBR) and the rule based reasoning(RBR) and the user agent which manages users' profiles. IIAS performs the rule based reasoning on the subject issue first, then provides the unsatisfying search results from the rule-base reasoning to the customers through the user agent, which enables the search of the goods most similar to the ones that meet the tastes and demands of the customers. That is, the accuracy and the speed has been improved by reasoning with the similarity adjustable integration agent which can pick out the goods of customers wants by modifying the weights of properties according to those of the customers.

Nowadays on-line services based on Internet are being popularized and there are lots of E-Commerce applications using Internet. So we can use lots of information on anytime. To maximize the convenience of the network, the platform of the service is moving from E-Commerce to M-Commerce. In this paper we developed the application system for mobile environment. Therefore applicants can apply their applications and see the competition rate of the applying departments anytime and anywhere even if in the network disconnection regions. And we can manage more economically the application system because we use the network only the time when we syncronize the mobile device to mobile server.
A Unified Design Methodology Development For XML Application based on Relational Database using UML Class

Nowadays an information exchange on XML such as B2B electronic commerce is spreading. Therefore the systematic and stable management mechanism for storing the exchanged information is needed. For this goal there are many research activities for connection between XML application and relational database. But because XML data have hierarchical structures and relational database can store only flat-structured data, we need to make the conversion rule which changes the hierarchical architecture to 2-dimensional information. Accordingly the modeling methodology for storing each structured information in relational database is needed. In this paper, we introduce a XML modeling methodology to design W3C XML schema using UML and we propose a unified design methodology for relational database schema to store XML data efficiently in relational databases. In the second place, in order to verify objectivity of a unified design methodology. By the way of Ronald Bourret, First we introduce the method of the transformation from XML schema to object model and second we translate object model into relational database schema. Therefore we show the mutual consistency between those consequence, and so can verify a unified design methodology.
Designing and Implementing XML DBMS based on Generic Data Model

Nowadays XML is used for exchanging information in e-Commerce, especially B2B. Necessity of XML DBMS has being increased to efficiently process XML data. So a lots of database products for supporting XML are rapidly appeared in the market. In this paper, we made an XML DBMS system based on Generic Data Model. First we developed XML Adaptor based on Generic Data Model and added it on relational DBMS for developing XML DBMS. XML Adaptor is composed of Query Convertor and XML Repository System. The Query Convertor parse commands that are for XML data manipulation and then call the relevant component of XML Repository System for relational database operation. The XML Repository System handles relational database operations such as create, delete, store, and etc. In this way we can use a relational DBMS for manipulation XML data. Therefor we can build more economically XML DBMS.
An Efficient Algorithm for Computing Multiplicative Inverses in GF(
) Using Optimal Normal Bases

This paper proposes a new multiplicative inverse algorithm for the Galois field GF (2/sup m/) whose elements are represented by optimal normal basis type Ⅱ. One advantage of the normal basis is that the squaring of an element is computed by a cyclic shift of the binary representation. A normal basis element is always possible to rewrite canonical basis form. The proposed algorithm combines normal basis and canonical basis. The new algorithm is more suitable for implementation than conventional algorithm.
A Study on the Usage of STEP data on the Construction CALS/EC Environment - Focusing on linking the Drawing Information and Material Information -

Currently, it is not popular to use the STEP based product information in the construction drawing files, in spite of the importance and possibility of using various product data in drawing files on the CALS/EC environment. This paper aims to demonstrate a construction drawing information management system based on ISO 10303/STEP. To achieve this aim, the authors have analyzed the current construction drawing information classification hierarchy widely used for domestic and international, and examined the material data connection mechanism within CAD drawing data, and finally investigated the management systems for construction documentations and drawings in a public companies. Therefore, the expected benefit of the proposed system is that STEP drawing information management will be done standardization and the information of STEP construction drawing can be managed, shared and supported design business through materials data connection.
An Implementation and Application of XML Hub System using SOAP

SOAP is a protocol used for information exchange in distributed computing environment and SOAP defines mechanisms for message transferring between distributed system and remote procedure call/response process. This SOAP is able to be used independently on hardware platforms and operating systems and program languages because it uses only a text-based XML for protocol. Therefore ebXML that is a standard for E-Commerce adopts SOAP for message exchange. In this paper, we implement XML Hub System using SOAP and apply on the system e-Procurement. By this XML Hub System we can more easily exchange messages for B2B. Accordingly we can manage and integrate a lots of business partners.
