Considering the four arithmetical operations, the operations over some problems in the second half periods of Chosun Dynasty were dealt in the different dimensions were not reasonable and tile units of the dimensions were neglected. This paper aims to introduce some questionable solved problems related to tile equations higher than tile second degree.

Jules Henri Poincare was great not only as a mathematician brit also as a philosopher of science. He received many honors for his outstanding research. He was elected to the Academie des Sciences in 1887 and was elected President of tile Academy in 1906. In 1908 he was elected to the Academie Francaise and was elected director in the year of his death. The Poincare Conjecture was selected Millennium Prize Problems fly The Clay Mathematics Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts(CMI). The Board of Directors of CMI have designated a $1 million prize fund for the solution to his problem. In this paper, Poincare's major works, his life, his philosophy and the Poincare Conjecture are given.

This paper aims to show an inner, basic harmony between metaphysics and current directions in mathematics and in the philosophy of mathematics. In this attempt, the general truths of metaphysics and the truths particularly relevant to the nature of mathematical abstraction serve as speculative guides in ordering the content and discussing the nature of the multiple questions lie between and disputed frontiers of metaphysics and mathematics.

The ancient Egyptians only used fractions of the form 1/n, so any other fraction had to be represented as a sum of such unit fractions and all the unit fractions were different. This study explores some of the history of Egyptian fractions and gives you an algorithm for such representations. There's lots of investigations to do in this area of mathematics suitable for elementary school students and it is also designed as a resource for teachers.
JAVA를 이용한 중학교 기하영역 자료 개발 - GSP로 구현한 정다면체 구성 -

In this paper, we developed a Web application program that could show the shape, the number of the vertices, the edges, the faces and development figures of polygons(regular tetrahedron, regular hexahedron, etc). The program was implemented using GSP(Geometer's SketchPad) and then converted to JAVA to display the results of GSP on the Web. The results of this paper are applicable to geometry of a junior high school course.
학생 주도적 학습을 위한 수학 교수 학습법

For this purpose, most of all, we thought over the theoretical background for the application of Web-resources to the teaching and learning program at the school mathematics. Second, we looked into the applied class and the class pattern with the internet. And then, we arranged the cases using the internet web materials. The last, we mentioned what the matters of learning based on the web are and what the teacher's roles are.
A Note on the Ahlfors function on an annulus
