Bayesian Network-based Data Analysis for Diagnosing Retinal Disease

In this paper, we suggested the possibility of using an efficient classifier for the dependency analysis of retinal disease. First, we analyzed the classification performance and the prediction accuracy of GBN (General Bayesian Network), GBN with reduced features by Markov Blanket and TAN (Tree-Augmented Naive Bayesian Network) among the various bayesian networks. And then, for the first time, we applied TAN showing high performance to the dependency analysis of the clinical data of retinal disease. As a result of this analysis, it showed applicability in the diagnosis and the prediction of prognosis of retinal disease.
Color Correction of the Color Difference in the PT Space for HDR Image Tone Compression using iCAM06

The iCAM06 has been used as an image appearance model for HDR image rendering. The iCAM06 goes through the color space conversions and scale conversions of the several steps to present HDR images. The dynamic range of an HDR image needs to be mapped on the range of output devices, which is called the tone mapping. However, tone compression process of the iCAM06 causes color distortion because of color-clipping and cross-stimulus. Therefore, we proposed that a color correction method in IPT space which compensates the color distortion in tone compression process. Through the experimental results, we conformed that proposed color correction method had better performance than the iCAM06 and enhanced models.
PACS Data Transmission in Hospital Network Based on DDS Middleware

The hospital network requires the effective transmission of multimedia PCAS data for medical treatment. But the network traffic has happened frequently in consultation hours because of the limited resources of hospital network and high capacity of PACS data. This is major interruption for the medical treatment. This problem can be solved by the adaptive QoS. In this paper, we design the middleware based QoS architecture in hospital network for controlling the contribution system. Our virtual simulation verifies that our middleware assures QoS of the priority PACS data of audio and image compared with the conventional hospital network.
Enhancement of Authentication Performance based on Multimodal Biometrics for Android Platform

In this research, we have explored personal authentication system through multimodal biometrics for mobile computing environment. We have selected face and speaker recognition for the implementation of multimodal biometrics system. For face recognition part, we detect the face with Modified Census Transform (MCT). Detected face is pre-processed through eye detection module based on k-means algorithm. Then we recognize the face with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) algorithm. For speaker recognition part, we extract features using the end-point of voice and the Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC). Then we verify the speaker through Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm. Our proposed multimodal biometrics system shows improved verification rate through combining two different biometrics described above. We implement our proposed system based on Android environment using Galaxy S hoppin. Proposed system presents reduced false acceptance ratio (FAR) of 1.8% which shows improvement from single biometrics system using the face and the voice (presents 4.6% and 6.7% respectively).
A Study on USIM Card Based User and Device Authentication Scheme in the Smartwork

As the distribution rate of smart device increases, users of smartwork are increasingly able to work without constraints imposed by time and space. However, there are many security threats in smartwork environment. Security threats is illegal information for an unauthenticated device. Especially, smartwork environment is approach to users. Therefore, there are other matters concerning justifiable user and device authentication. However, the studies of smartwork are still in early stage of development, and the studies of user and device authentication also not enough to apply smartwork environment. In this paper, we proposed USIM based user and device authentication scheme in the smartwork environment.
DNA Watermarking Method based on Random Codon Circular Code

This paper proposes a DNA watermarking method for the privacy protection and the prevention of illegal copy. The proposed method allocates codons to random circular angles by using random mapping table and selects triplet codons for embedding target with the help of the Lipschitz regularity value of local modulus maxima of codon circular angles. Then the watermark is embedded into circular angles of triplet codons without changing the codes of amino acids in a DNA. The length and location of target triplet codons depend on the random mapping table for 64 codons that includes start and stop codons. This table is used as the watermark key and can be applied on any codon sequence regardless of the length of sequence. If this table is unknown, it is very difficult to detect the length and location of them for extracting the watermark. We evaluated our method and DNA-crypt watermarking of Heider method on the condition of similar capacity. From evaluation results, we verified that our method has lower base changing rate than DNA-crypt and has lower bit error rate on point mutation and insertions/deletions than DNA-crypt. Furthermore, we verified that the entropy of random mapping table and the locaton of triplet codons is high, meaning that the watermark security has high level.
A Study on Chain Collision Prevention Scheme using Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications

It is expected that the vehicle safety systems using vehicle-to-vehicle communication can reduce the possibility of vehicle collision and prevent the chain crash by promptly delivering the status of neighboring vehicles. Many IEEE 802.11 DCF based Flooding schemes have been proposed, but they may generally expose the problems that the chances of a chain-collision reaction are sharply increased as the vehicle density has increased. Therefore, this paper proposes the chain-collision prevention scheme using a broadcasting-based adaptive report. The proposed method can adaptively allocate the preoccupancy right based on a quantitative priority order and then promptly deliver the warning messages in neighboring areas. Moreover, it is shown from simulation that the proposed scheme provides the performance gains over the existing Flooding based scheme.
Estimation of Reliability of a System Based on Two Typed Data

Reliability analysis for various forms of data obtained from complicated electronic circuits is a necessary process for guaranteeing reliability of the system. Reliability assessment of a system starts from the estimation of failure function. A system can be composed of one item, but in most cases, several items are correlated to each other in one system. This study suggests an estimation method of failure function and reliabilities for infrequent failure events, by considering different form of data obtained from different systems. Estimates of failure function and reliabilities for complex systems composed of two or more items in parallel or in mixed connections can be done by further application of proposed method.
A Design of HTML5-based Service Migration Technology between Heterogeneous Browsers

The Internet has become a part of our lives. As the number of devices with Internet accessibility increases, users can use web services with those devices anytime, anywhere. Web contents on the web page can be delivered to user in various forms for various devices and users want to use seamlessly the contents with an appropriate device. Web browser extension is function to add features that are not supported by default browser. All browsers support extensions that provide the same services for cross-browser. In this paper, We proposed object migration architecture between heterogeneous browsers by expanding our proposed mechanism that identifies objects and the information of those objects to be migrated in the web page, extracts the object and creates object after migration. For this purpose, we analyzed the extension architecture of representative browsers and investigated necessary files to develop objects migration extension. In addition, We investigated how to send and receive message among files in each browser extension and the interaction mechanism among those files. Finally, We implemented the object migration mechanisms between heterogeneous browsers.
Sensor Deployment Simulator for Designing Sensor Fields

Node deployment is one of the important problems in achieving good quality of service in wireless sensor network. The purpose of this paper is to develop an interactive system that supports user's decision makings in designing sensor fields. The system provides grid-based initial deployment algorithm supporting three types of node deployment pattern, area-fill, path-cover, and barrier-cover deployment pattern. After initial deployment, an iterative refinement algorithm can be applied, which takes care of the irregularity of the deployment area and the heterogeneity of sensors. The proposed system helps users to effectively deploy nodes in the sensor field, analyse the detection performance of the deployment, and perform network simulations. The developed system can be utilized as a part of the development environment of the surveillance sensor network system.
A Study of Parsing System Implementation Using Segmentation and Argument Information

One of the most important problems in syntactic analysis is syntactic ambiguities. This paper proposes a parsing system and this system can reduce syntactic ambiguities by using segmentation method and argument information method. The proposed system uses morphemes for the input of syntax analysis system, and syntactic analysis system generates all possible parse trees from the given morphemes. Therefore, this system generates many syntactic ambiguity problems. We use three methods to solve these problems. First is disambiguation method in morphological analysis, second is segmentation method in syntactic analysis processing, and the last method is using argument information. Using these three methods, we can reduce many ambiguities in Korean syntactic analysis. In our experiment, our approach decreases about 53% of syntactic ambiguities.
RTE System based on CBT for Effective Office SW Education

Advanced internet service and smart equipment have caused an environment supporting various online learning anytime and anywhere, which requires learning contents optimized on a new media. Among various on/off line education related to IT, most part if it is office SW. Many oh them cannot make a good education for effective training in practical because many instructors are tend to focus on teaching simple function and use examples of formality repeatedly. In this paper we propose a new office SW education system that make use of LET(Live EduTainer) based on RTE(Real Training Environment) which maximize the effect of learning and it is integrated with GBL(Game Based Learning) which gives rise to interesting in a knowledge as well as simple teaching so that learners are absorbed on it. We'll elaborate a method for teaching and learning required in this system, design and configuration of the system.
A Study on Corporate Cultural-Art Supporting and Consumer Response Based on Creating Shared Value

The purpose of this study is to examine that the effects of social philanthropy initiatives the firm's image of corporate social responsibility. The present study analyzed the structural relationship between three motivations of social philanthropy and evaluation of firm, using structural equation modeling as the method of analysis of the data which were collected from surveying 310 random individuals at galleries and performance halls across the nation. The current study found that the focus on customer value positively influenced the firm image, while motivation for enterprise value had a negative effects on the firm image. This study conducted the test of the structural model invariance across the groups. This study also found that the correlation of motivation for customer to the firm image was much stronger in CSV group than its counterpart. In contrast, the correlation of focus on firm enterprise value to the firm image was much stronger in CSR group than CSV.
How to Impact the Adoption of Managed Service on IT Governance of Enterprises?

The development of IT has led to increase the business's dependence on IT and the interests of enterprises on IT governance. Also, more enterprises have adopted managed services to save operating costs in IT departments and to maximize their business efficiency. However, until recently, there are very few academic as well as practical researches regarding managed services, IT service effectiveness, IT governance and their interrelations. This study analyzes the effects of managed services on IT governance based on the IT-BSC (Balanced Scorecard) model. Using the expert FGI (Focus Group Interview) and survey, the research results present that managed services have the most significant effect on the user-oriented and the operational efficiency in enterprises. Also, managed services through the business process standardization can improve the IT governance more effectively. This study will be a relevant guideline for enterprises that will adopt managed services.
