A Design of Goods Recommendation System based on Multi-crossselling

Recently, many effort is demanded for appropriate operation and management of the Electronic commerce system. Electronic commerce system must provide information satisfying customers. To do this, many kinds of studies are being advanced about electronic commerce system using intelligent agent technology. In this paper, We propose a support system for goods based on Case-Based Reasoning(CBR) and multi-crossselling technology. The system can supply the information of goods that is suitable about customer need under specification condition with CBR technique and can search several goods approximate to customer pattern using Multi-crossselling technique.
A Load Balancing Method Using Ring Network Structure in the Grid Database

In this paper, a load balancing method using ring network structure in the Grid database is proposed. In the Grid database, generally, data is replicated for performance and availability. And, user's request is transferred to node and processed in that node which has target data. But, in such environment, a decline of performance can be occurred because unbalanced workload. A traditional research is proposed to solve unbalanced load problem. However, the Grid database has a number of systems and user's request always changes dynamically. Therefore, a traditional research can not be applied. The proposed method connects each node which has a same replicated data through ing network structure. If workload is overflowed in some node, user's request is transferred to a linked node which has a target data. And, this node stops another request processing until workload is decreased. Then, it changes the link structure through sending a message to a previous node, to stop request forwarding from a previous node. This paper shows a proposed method increases performance than existing research through performance evaluation and is more suitable for a complex and dynamic environment.
RSP-DS: Real Time Sequential Patterns Analysis in Data Streams

Existed pattern analysis algorithms in data streams environment have researched performance improvement and effective memory usage. But when new data streams come, existed pattern analysis algorithms have to analyze patterns again and have to generate pattern tree again. This approach needs many calculations in real situation that needs real time pattern analysis. This paper proposes a method that continuously analyzes patterns of incoming data streams in real time. This method analyzes patterns fast, and thereafter obtains real time patterns by updating previously analyzed patterns. The incoming data streams are divided into several sequences based on time based window. Informations of the sequences are inputted into a hash table. When the number of the sequences are over predefined bound, patterns are analyzed from the hash table. The patterns form a pattern tree, and later created new patterns update the pattern tree. In this way, real time patterns are always maintained in the pattern tree. During pattern analysis, suffixes of both new pattern and existed pattern in the tree can be same. Then a pointer is created from the new pattern to the existed pattern. This method reduce calculation time during duplicated pattern analysis. And old patterns in the tree are deleted easily by FIFO method. The advantage of our algorithm is proved by performance comparison with existed method, MILE, in a condition that pattern is changed continuously. And we look around performance variation by changing several variable in the algorithm.
Inspection for Inner Wall Surface of Communication Conduits by Laser Projection Image Analysis

This paper proposes a novel method for grading of underground communication conduits by laser projection image analysis. The equipment thrust into conduit consists of a laser diode, a light emitting diode and a camera, the laser diode is utilized for generating projection image onto pipe wall, the light emitting diode for lighting environment and the image of conduit is acquired by the camera. In order to segment profile region, we used a novel color difference model and multiple thresholds method. The shape of profile ring is represented as a minimum diameter and the Fourier descriptor, and then the pipe status is graded by the rule-based method. Both local and global features of the segmented ring shaped, the minimum diameter and the Fourier descriptor, are utilized, therefore injured and distorted pipes can be correctly graded. From the experimental results, the classification is measured with accuracy such that false alarms are less than 2% under the various conditions.
An Efficient Object Extraction Scheme for Low Depth-of-Field Images

This paper describes a novel and efficient algorithm, which extracts focused objects from still images with low depth-of-field (DOF). The algorithm unfolds into four modules. In the first module, a HOS map, in which the spatial distribution of the high-frequency components is represented, is obtained from an input low DOF image . The second module finds OOI candidate by using characteristics of the HOS. Since it is possible to contain some holes in the region, the third module detects and fills them. In order to obtain an OOI, the last module gets rid of background pixels in the OOI candidate. The experimental results show that the proposed method is highly useful in various applications, such as image indexing for content-based retrieval from huge amounts of image database, image analysis for digital cameras, and video analysis for virtual reality, immersive video system, photo-realistic video scene generation and video indexing system.
Segmentation of Brain Ventricle Using Geodesic Active Contour Model Based on Region Mean

This paper proposed a curve progress control function of the area base instead of the existing edge indication function, in order to detect the brain ventricle area by utilizing a geodesic active contour model. The proposed curve progress control function is very effective in detecting the brain ventricle area and this function is based on the average brightness of the brain ventricle area which appears brighter in MRI images. Compared numerically by using various measures, the proposed method in this paper can detect brain ventricle areas better than the existing method. By examining images of normal and diseased brain's images by brain tumor, we compared the several brain ventricle detection algorithms with proposed method visually and verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
An Adaptive Unfolding Method for Visualizing Wrinkled Colon Surface

Unfolding is an efficient technique to detect colorectal disease since it represents entire shape of colon at a glance. However, the previous unfolding methods may miss the surface located behind the folds or high curvature areas. To solve the problem, we propose an adaptive unfolding method that controls the number of rays in accordance with the surface complexity. In the first step, we find sample points of longer and shorter distance between the sample points and the colon surface, and then determine them as based control points. Next, for reaching rays of sample points in the wrinkled colon surface, sample points are shifted toward the control points that have the long distance. Lastly, we perform a 2D scaling which solves local distortions of the unfolding surface and avoids missing surface. Consequently, our method could be visualized the hidden surface of colon organ in detail.
Embedding Analysis Among the Matrix-star, Pancake, and RFM Graphs

Matrix-star, Pancake, and RFM graphs have such a good property of Star graph and a lower network cost than Hypercube. Matrix-star graph has Star graph as a basic module and the node symmetry, the maximum fault tolerance, and the hierarchical decomposition property. Also it is an interconnection network that improves the network cost against Star graph. In this paper, we propose a method to embed among Matrix-star Pancake, and RFM graphs using the edge definition of graphs. We prove that Matrix-star

A Study on Virtual Fitting Model System for Internet Fashion Shopping Mall

The Internet has brought many changes in our daily lives. Now the recognition on the Internet fashion shopping matt has increased and it requires scientific and systematic research to understand the Internet fashion marketing system more correctly and to strengthen the marketing activity at the virtual space. A big shortcoming of an Internet fashion mall is that the consumers can't wear clothes themselves. Currently there is no system to cover the shortcoming, It would be nice if a 3D avata wears the clothes on behalf of a consumer after inputting the information of physical sizes of a consumer. The consumers can select many clothes, accessories and even the background. After establishing a complete virtual fashion shopping mall, the consumers who sue the Internet fashion shopping mall could wear the clothes at an online shop establishing an online shopping environment. It will be a sole way to ensure the trust of the consumers. This paper studies the read in reflection by PC camera and sample the edge detection. Virtual fitting system that wears virtual fitting model some clothes is establishment.

In this paper, study on organization factors and algorithm of semiotics in Animation text within Roland Gerard Barthes's Structurism semiotics theory. It is possible through this approach that we can analyse the effective mechanism which delivers messages(or text) of animation, instead of plain analysis of classical semiotics. and then It will be able to keep watch on the blind viewpoint of the pure aesthetics which does not consider a social duty. In the expression of single sentence by the view of Barthes's semiotics theory, the text of animation is 'one sign has duplex role'. when it is explained another, the animation of mass media is special processing that makes conception and significance. in other words, the order of domination likely natural rule assimilate mass people to itself by the animation of mass media
Implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication System Using Image Dictionary

In this paper, we implement an AAC(Augmentative and Alternative Communication) system based on image dictionary in order that speech defectives can easily communicate their opinion to others by using images. Normally, those who have a speech defect use only a few limited words to express their intentions and it is an effective way to use images in their communication because they have a difficulty in speaking. Therefore we make verbal images of verb and adjective that play an important role in expressing the speaker's intention, define pattern of semantic relation between the verbal images and noun images, and construct the image dictionary. In this AAC system, when a user clicks a verbal image, the system generates a sentence by selecting noun images which are component parts of corresponding pattern based on semantic relation with the verbal image. We evaluate the implemented system by how efficiently children of speech defect can express their intention and the result shows more than 70% of success rate in communication.
Indoor-Outdoor Positioning Method

Location-Based Service (LBS) is a service provided to the user based on the user's current geographic location. Since LBS provides a higher value-added service, LBS has been applied on various businesses, industries and even on personal lives. Positioning users is the essential technology in building an LBS system. Thanks to GPS (Global Positioning System), Positioning outdoor is successfully used in practice. However, there is not a general solution for indoor positioning yet, even though many strategies for indoor positioning have been introduced. One of the reasons for the lack of successful indoor positioning is that most of the existing indoor positioning strategies require special equipments dedicated for positioning. This paper introduces an indoor positioning strategy that does not require any additional equipments. Integrating our indoor positioning strategy with GPS-based outdoor positioning, we have implemented an indoor-outdoor positioning system. Experimental results of the system is also introduced.
An Efficient Method for Logical Structure Analysis of HTML Tables

HTML is a format for rendering Web documents visually and uses tables to present a relational information. Since HTML has limits in terms of information processing and management by a computer, it is important to transform HTML tables into XML documents, which is able to represent logical structure information. As a prerequisite for extracting information from the Web, this paper presents an efficient method for extracting logical structures from HTML tables and transforming them into XML documents. The proposed method consists of two phases: Area segmentation and structure analysis. The area segmentation step removes noisy areas and extracts attribute and value areas through visual and semantic coherency checkup. The hierarchical structure between attribute and value areas are analyzed and transformed into XML representations using a proposed table model. Experimental results with 1,180 HTML tables show that the proposed method performs better than the conventional method, resulting in an average precision of 86.7%.
Pattern Matching Optimizer for Virtual Machine Codes

VM(Virtual Machine) can be considered as a software processor which interprets the abstract machine code. Also, it is considered as a conceptional computer that consists of logical system configuration. But, the execution speed of VM system is much slower than that of a real processor system. So, it is very important to optimize the code for virtual machine to enhance the execution time. In this paper, we designed and implemented the optimizer for the virtual(or abstract) machine code(VMC) which is actually SIL(Standard Intermediate Language) that is an intermediate code of EVM(Embedded Virtual Machine). The optimizer uses the pattern matching optimization techniques reflecting the characteristics of the VMC as well as adopting the existing optimization methodology. Also, we tried a benchmark test for the VMC optimizer and obtained reasonable results.
