DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2014.5.4.033
The progress in IT has increased work efficiency in many fields, leading to the start of a new era where information is exchanged by connecting all objects under the paradigm of IoT. Interest is growing on the convergence of various fields of study that goes beyond simply applying IT to research to increase efficiency in multidisciplinary studies. As such, there is a need to develop an IT-based model that can be applied to social welfare work. Social welfare workers in Korea at present have twice the workload and stress of those of their counterparts in other OECD countries. This leads to decreased work efficiency. This paper seeks to suggest a way to increase efficiency in social welfare work by improving the work process through IT-based systems. The study is expected to contribute to increased efficiency in the area of social welfare.

DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2014.5.4.049
With the start of the present Korean Creative-Economy Government, more effort is put to prepare the Unification in many areas. But it is not easy to find studies on contemporary status of North Korea specifically in information technology or computer education due to the poor accessibility to the country. This study is on comparing computer education in elementary schools in North Korea and South Korea and diagnosing future direction of computer education as the beginning stage of Unification. The most study is performed from backtracking curriculum methodology based on computer textbooks from North Korea and South Korea. In both countries, the elementary school curriculum for computer subject is mostly dealing with the usage of softwares. In North Korea they don't teach internet applications and they uses different type of office programs. The further ideas for desirable future education are suggested with analysis on the computer education in other countries such as China and Vietnam which can be appropriate role models for North Korea and USA, UK and India for South Korea. It is expected in both countries that the computer education will be more focused on programming rather than on software usage in the future.

Yun, Sunghyun ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 5, issue 4, 2014, Pages 101~106
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2014.5.4.101
Most peoples are used to prefer to view the video contents rather than the other contents since the video contents are more easy to understand with both their eyes and ears. As the wide spread use of smartphones, the demands for the contents services are increasing rapidly. To promote the contents business, it's important to provide security of subscriber authentication and corresponding communication channels through which the contents are delivered. Generally, symmetric key encryption scheme is used to protect the contents in the channel, and the session key should be upadated periodically for the security reasons. In addition, to protect viewing paid contents by illegal users, the proxy authentication should not be allowed. In this paper, we propose biometric based user authentication and one time key generation models. The proposed model is consist of biometric template registration, session key generation and chanel encryption steps. We analyze the difference and benefits of our model with existing CAS models which are made for CATV contents protection, and also provides applications of our model in electronic commerce area.

DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2014.5.4.147
To create a personal menu, there are a number of considerations. Personal menus are different depending on the dietary therapy for disease, diet for weight control. In addition, the menu you choose, depending on the personal preference and the season, the weather, current personal feelings may differ. An individual should expect to recommend a balanced diet, taking nutritional status just for health care. In this paper, we propose a personalized menu recommendations System framework to meet such needs. To recommend menus the system receives data of the body's individual circumstances, ingredients situation, environmental conditions, psychological condition, emotional condition and provides a recommended menu by performing the inference using the ontology generated from external application systems. In order to provide such services, Internet of Things (IoT) environment should be the foundation. In this paper, we propose a personalized diet recommendation system framework in the IoT standardization environment that has oneM2M common service platform.

Stable Tracking Control to a Non-linear Process Via Neural Network Model
Zhai, Yujia ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 5, issue 4, 2014, Pages 163~169
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2014.5.4.163
A stable neural network control scheme for unknown non-linear systems is developed in this paper. While the control variable is optimised to minimize the performance index, convergence of the index is guaranteed asymptotically stable by a Lyapnov control law. The optimization is achieved using a gradient descent searching algorithm and is consequently slow. A fast convergence algorithm using an adaptive learning rate is employed to speed up the convergence. Application of the stable control to a single input single output (SISO) non-linear system is simulated. The satisfactory control performance is obtained.
