Lim, Joong-Soo ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 1~5
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.001
In this paper, we describe the design of a fusion labeling system which is controlled by the Wi-Fi signals. The Current labeling system which is used in the industry is designed to work independently on the production line not connected with internet network services. For such reasons, it is very inconvenient for the labeling system to transfer such labeling data of the production line to the server computer. We propose a labeling system connected to the Wi-Fi service being able to send real-time transmission of labeling data. This system can supply the labeling data of production line to the server computer in realtime and improve the production quality than the existing system.

DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.007
A segmentation process extracts an interesting area of barcode in an image and gives a crucial impart on the performance of barcode verifier. Previous segmentation methods occurs some issues as follows. First, it is very hard to determine a threshold of length in Hough Line transform because it is sensitive. Second, Morphology transform delays the process when you conduct dilation and erosion operations during the image extraction. Therefore, we proposes a novel Converged Harris Corner detection-based segmentation method to detect an interesting area of barcode in Data Matrix. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed method, we conduct experiments by a dataset of barcode in accordance with size and location in an image. In result, our method solves the problems of delay and surrounding environments, threshold setting, and extracts the barcode area 100% from test images.

DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.029
As smart grid techniques developed, public attention is concentrating on energy efficiency. So it is necessary to study on new renewable energy in order to manage the energy within micro grid consisting smart grid. Among them, small hydro energy has the advantage of being installable anywhere depending the amount of water used by the users within micro grid. This study examines if the measured value is appropriate for small hydro power generation by measuring generation quantity and operation rate of generator based on the sewage flow used by apartments and multi-unit dwellings where those users live. Some appropriate apartments and multi-unit dwellings generate electricity with small hydro generator using sewage as potential energy. This study intends to suggest more effective management by introducing energy management system and electricity storage device of micro grid.

Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 43~48
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.043
We studied on the injection molding conditions of defect-free PMMA lens for surgical light. When the heat temperature of mold is low, more imperfect molding or weldlines and flow marks have showed. A defective lens depends on low fluidity of the PMMA resin and its temperature is high, a flexural strain has occurred. The longer cooling time of specimens, the more cracks have occurred due to resin crystallization. In this study, optimal molding conditions for defect-free PMMA lens is as follows. The heat temperature of core mold was 110 [
] and also the cooling time was 25 [sec]. PMMA materials can realized low expense to produce plastic optical lens and applications.

In the FTA environment, it is necessary to comply with the rules of origin in order to receive duty-free benefits. To do this, they have to precede the Harmonized System(HS) tariff classification of the goods and understand thoroughly the basic principles that constitute the tariff schedule of HS classification. For the correct classification, they should understand exactly the product name of "Heading" about the items, "Legal Note" in the relevant "Section" or "Chapter" as well as provisions of the commentary. Therefore, this paper proposes to develop a HS classification services based on the performance system of knowledge convergence of field terms commonly used in various industries. In result, our services can provide users the conveniences which users first selects one of seven decision elements of the classification and perform the classification easily and accurately.

Cho, Jae-Ung ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 57~63
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.057
In this study, the lower arm is connected and fixed at the model of the automotive stabilizer link as the moment is applied. There are models of 1, 2 and 3 as a length control type, a general type and a single body type respectively. These models are investigated by performing the convergence technique through the design and the strength analysis with CATIA and ANSYS. As the maximum equivalent stress of model 3 has the least, model 3 can endure the highest load among three models. As the fatigue analysis, model 3 has the minimum blocks as the frequency of stress state, model 3 becomes also safest among three models. As models of 1, 2 are in the order of the next safety, the number of blocks becomes larger as the frequency of stress state and the instability becomes higher. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.
Managerial Stock Ownership and Debt Maturity: Evidence from Chinese Firms
Choi, Young-Mok ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 71~76
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.071
Using a sample of publicly-traded Chinese firms, this study examines a relationship between managerial ownership and corporate debt maturity decisions. China has transformed dramatically into a market capitalist economy over the past decades. However, so far, little attention has been paid to the role of professional managers. In this situation, this study explores the effect of stock grants to managers as incentive system by providing evidence that managerial ownership affects corporate debt maturity decisions. The findings are as follows: First, I find that like US firms, managerial ownership is negatively related to the proportion of long-term debt. Second, I divide the entire sample into two subsamples of state-owned and privately owned firms. For the privately owned firms, I find that there is a negative relationship between managerial ownership and the proportion of long-term debt. In contrast, for the state-owned firms, the relationship is positive and insignificant.

Though the SNA (social network analysis ; SNA) has been used for various fields, esp. social science field, ig. politics, journalism, and science of public administration as well as natural science field, there are few studies about the introduction of analysis tools. In order to perform the SNA, collecting data which are fit for the purpose, statistical values deduction and visualized results made by analysis tool are necessary, but the studies, which explain them systematically, are not sufficient yet. So, in this study, we are intended to introduce the analytic process, from the data input to the interpretation, with proven data. using the R program, which is free, in order to help researchers who have any plan to study using the SNA. The proven data in this study are quoted ones in the domestic scientific journals of food, which are those supplied citation index DB of Korean scientific journals. As a study methodology, the SNA is a new paradigm to substitute existing research methods as well as a complement of statistical analysis. Therefore, this study would contribute to vitalization of the SNA.

Recently government has distributed precautionary measure and response procedures for smishing(SMS phishing), pharming, phishing, memory hacking and intensified Electronic Financial Transaction Act because of the sharp increase of electronic bank frauds. However, the methods of electronic bank frauds also developed and changed accordingly so much it becomes hard to cope with them. In contrast to earlier voice phishing targeted randomizing object, these new methods find out the personal information of targets and analyze them in detail making a big data base. And they are progressed into new kind of electronic bank frauds using those analyzed informations for voice phishing. This study analyze the attack method of voice phishing blended with the Big Data of personal informations and suggests response procedures for electronic bank frauds increasingly developed. Using the method to save meaningless data in a memory, attackers cannot deduct accurate information and try voice phishing properly even though they obtain personal information based on the Big Data. This study analyze newly developed social technologic attacks and suggests response procedures for them.

Cho, Jae-Ung ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 93~101
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.093
As the axle at the vehicle of railway has the important role for safe running, the strength, and impact-proof, safety factor, stress and deformation must be considered. There are the simulation models of 1 and 2 in this study. These models are investigated by performing the convergence technique through the design, the structural and fatigue analyses with CATIA and ANSYS. As the maximum deformation and equivalent stress of model A are lower than those of model B, model A has more durability than model B. The durability to prevent the damage can be investigated by applying the result of this study into the part design of the vehicle of rail road. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.

Chon, Mi-Lim ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 1, 2015, Pages 103~108
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.1.103
This paper investigate the determinants of investment for a cross-section of firms in emerging market. I examine three factors expected to affect investment: debt ratio, growth rate, and industry. I find that debt ratio and ICT firms are positively associated with investment in emerging market. I also find that ICT firms with high debt ratio have higher net capital expenditures. While the growth rate is unrelated to net capital expenditures. Unlike the evidence from the developed markets, debt ratio has significant and positive impact on investment (net capital expenditures) in the emerging market.
