Moon, Weon-Hee ; Kim, Young-Ju ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 1~11
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.001
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the experience process of nursing students who have participated in a major converged short-term study abroad program and to present the future direction of short-term study abroad. Methods: This study is a qualitative study based on the grounded theory and method in nursing students' experience of major in a major converged short-term study abroad program. Results: The core category emerged as 'finding myself in another me'. 'as experience the difference' emerged as a causal condition. Action/interaction strategies were found to provide students with these effects: 'a change of attitude on life', 'find continued support resources', 'due to hard reality, putting down the aspiration'. Shown in these results of this study, nursing students were seen to have the simultaneous effect of 'to live as the organizers of life', and 'return to the old life'. Conclusions: The nursing students experience a positive impact on their attitude towards life.
Cognitive behavior intervention for critical incident stress management in fire fighters in Korea
Lee, Eun-Jung ; Kim, Jee-Hee ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 13~18
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.013
The purpose of the study is to investigate the predisposing factors of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in fire fighters in Korea and to suggest the program development and solution to the critical incident stress management (CISM) in the future. PTSD is characterized by invasion, withdrawal, negative change of cognition and mood, and hypersensitivity. Trauma memory includes explicit memory and implicit memory. The explicit memory is conscious, cognitive, and descriptive and is controlled by hippocampus. The data of explicit memory have inhibitive and narrative language structure. The implicit memory is inconscious, emotional, and remembered by the body. The implicit memory is controlled by amygdala and has inexpressive language structure. The deletion of implicit memory is the key point to trauma treatment. Critical incident stress management (CISM) is the approach for the solution of PTSD. In conclusion, the essential goal of CISM is the psychological cessation of PTSD. This study tried to suggest the education program development of PTSD.
Study on Convergence Technique through Structural Analysis due to the Height of the Walker
Lee, Jung-Ho ; Cho, Jae-Ung ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 19~24
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.019
Nowadays, the number of people who do not move actively or are treated for rehabilitation is increasing because of the disorder or the paralysis of their own lower body by the industrial disaster. In this study, the walker for the people whose bodies are not convenient or the old is investigated. The walkers due to the height of walker are designed and the structural simulation analysis is carried out. The study models of walker are modelled with CATIA program and analyzed with ANSYS program. As the analysis result, the models of 1, 2 and 3 have the maximum stresses extremely below the yield stress of this model and the elastic deformations at these models occurs. Among these models, As the maximum deformation of model 3 has the least value among these models, models 3 is thought to have the best durability. The safety of walker model can be estimated by the basis of the result of this study. The damage can be prevented and the durability is examined by applying this result into the design of walker. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.
The Factors of Participating in a Smoking Cessation Program using Integrated Method of Decision Tree and Neural Network Algorithm
Byeon, Haewon ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 25~30
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.025
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affects the participating in a smoking cessation program. Data were from the A Study on the Seoul Welfare Panel Study 2010. Subjects were 1,326 smokers aged 19 and older living in the community. Dependent variable was defined as experience of smoking cessation. Explanatory variables were included as age, gender, level of education, employment status, household income, marital status, drinking, self-reported health status, depression, disease, and physical activity. A prediction model was developed by the use of a Decision Tree and Neural Network Algorithm. In the Prediction model, self reported health status, disease, income, household income were significantly associated with participating in a smoking cessation program. Based this study, systematic education and development of programs are required.
Revitalization small businesses of the overseas exchange through the convergence of private network (Focusing on Laos in the Indochina Peninsula)
Kim, Deok-Man ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 31~36
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.031
This paper was studied in export policy Revitalization of SMEs mainly in various countries of Indochina, especially in Laos, which is emerging as a new market after China. Laos is a socialist country, but in 2014, led by the current active open-door policy, education, social, cultural and people-to-people exchanges are going briskly, light industry and the expansion of social infrastructure such as laying the foundation for economic development. This paper presents a plan to dominate the emerging frontier markets are public enterprises and government agencies that do not respond quickly. Already pioneered by building a network in local development staff for this purpose, such as volunteers, missionaries, professors and configure the network of exploitation and human development personnel look for Revitalization of SMEs in urban and regional growth.
Study on Convergence Technique through the Flow Analytical Study inside the Faucet for Bathroom
Cho, Jae-Ung ;
Journal of the Korea Convergence Society , volume 6, issue 2, 2015, Pages 37~42
DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.037
Nowadays, as the environmental pollution becomes severe on the earth, the water resource which can be used practically is dried up because of the natural disaster. And so, this is the time to be necessary to have the method for saving the water resource. This study investigates the distributions of velocity and temperature by the flow analysis inside the faucet models for bathroom. Model 3 has the most uniform distribution of temperature after mixing among all models. As model 3 has the smallest velocity distribution and the biggest space to mix by comparing the other models, it is seen to have the most influence on the discharged velocity of water and save the water. As the space of various configuration inside faucet model for bathroom is made by using the result of this study, it is thought to utilize at the development of this model in which more mixing becomes and the water can be saved. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.

DOI : 10.15207/JKCS.2015.6.2.057
Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) systems have successfully been developed and used to replace traditional conductive power transfer systems where physical connection is either inconvenient or impossible, such as biomedical implants, undersea vehicles, and contactless battery chargers of robots, for providing power to movable or detachable loads. Inductive Coupling uses magnetic fields to transfer power. There is a primary coil, which generates a magnetic field. Then there is another secondary coil which is composed of a capacitor and a coil, the capacitor creates a circuit with the primary and secondary coils. This paper discusses design method and several implementation alternatives for wireless energy transmission systems. It presents realization examples for these alternatives. Wireless energy transmission is investigated in numerous convergence applications due to its simplicity and advantages.

As the new technologies like IoT and Fintech appear which have not existed before, security threat ranges in existing system are increasing. Especially, IoT has increasing ranges to cause malicious behaviors in specific systems because related IT infrastructure ranges are increasing. Fintech also requires the innovation of traditional security system because it has new structure which didn't exist in the past. As IoT and Fintech technologies are commercialized and related markets are developing in the future, structural security threats could be connected to actual attacks and secondary attacks by the attackers' imbedding of back door in IoT internet devices through remote access. Customer's device cannot be compulsively controlled for security in new system where these various security threats exist. Therefore, these services should minimize the collected information, and now is the time to politically control the utilizing methods of the collected information. In this thesis, security threats are to be suggested which could occur in newly appearing mobile services like IoT and Fintech.
