Korea enacted the occupational safety and health law in order to prevent industrial accidents in 1981. Led by ministry of labor, occupational safety and health support services policy has been built through government-affiliated organizations, research institutions and academic research. Korea's accident rate has remained at 0.7% for last 10 years despite continuous efforts over the last 30 years. These results means that the occupational safety and health support services policy conducted by the government have reached their limits. Therefore, the necessity of assessment about occupational safety and health support services policy is proposed. The main objective of this study, through the IPA analysis, is to grasp the point of worker's needs about occupational safety and health support services policy and to help formulate the efficient policy.
On the Development of Systems Safety Requirements Using Hazard Analysis Results

Modern systems become more complex and the demand for systems safety goes up sharply. Thus, the proper handling of the safety requirements in the systems design is getting greatly increased attention these days. Hazard analysis has been one of the active areas of research in connection with systems safety. In this paper, we study a subject on how the hazard analysis results can be incorporated in the systems design. To this end we set up a goal on how to systematically generate safety requirements that should reflect hazard analysis results and be implemented in the systems design and development. To do so, we first review the process for systems design and suggest the associated Model. Then the process and results of hazard analysis are analyzed and Modeled particularly with emphasis on the safety data. The resulting data Model incorporating both the hazard analysis and system life cycle is used in the generation of safety requirements. Based on the developed data Model, the generation of the requirements, the construction of requirements DB, and the change management later on is demonstrated through the use of a computer-aided software tool.

Survey of the correlation between work injuries and job satisfaction in Logistics Center and ways to improve work satisfaction

Workers in logistics centers also are exposed to serious musculoskeletal disorders the same as workers in general manufacturing due to operating forklifts and other labor duties. The frequency of these work related injuries decreases, workers' job satisfaction In addition, it causes many employees questioning a job change, which is regarded as the primary factor which drops the productivity. In this paper, we conducted a survey ti perceive the correlation between work related injuries in the fields of distribution centers and job satisfaction. Furthermore we made statistical analysis with our findings. The results of our analysis showed that the frequency of work related injuries due to workers' repetitive loading and unloading work is the primary factor which lowers job satisfaction. In order to improve aforementioned problem we propose first of all loading and unloading on pallet basis, second of all automation and computerization of logistics systems, and third of all ensurinf sufficient break time.
The mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between job quality and occupational injuries

This paper reviewed the relationship between job quality, job satisfaction and occupational injuries, and the mediating effect of job satisfaction. Based on the responses from 278 employees in manufacturing sector, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that all job quality factors(job variety, autonomy, job importance, feedback) have positive relationship with job satisfaction and job satisfaction has negative relationship with number of injuries. Also, job satisfaction was found to mediates the relationship between all job quality factors and occupational injuries.
A Study on Mediating Effect of LMX on the Relationship between Ethical Leadership and Job Satisfaction

This study investigates the effect of the relationships among ethical leadership, LMX(leader-member exchange) and job satisfaction, and the mediating effect of LMX on the relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction. In order to verify the relationships and the mediating effect, the data obtained from convenient sample of 256 nurses in a city were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. The findings were as follows: First, ethical leadership were positively related to LMX and job satisfaction. Second, LMX was positively related to job satisfaction. Finally, LMX played as a partial mediator on the relationship between ethical leadership and job satisfaction. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.
The Effect of Job Stress Responses on Human Error

Job stress weakens physical ability causing the diseases related to working condition, decreases a production level, and increases mistakes and accidents. This study examined the relationship between job stress and human error, and focused on the moderating effect of age and maintenance type on the relationship between job stress and human error. The study used a quantitative design based on the 450 questionnaires of maintenance personnel in the Air force. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that physiological and psychological stress responses have positively related with human error. In moderating effect test, age appeared to impact on the relationship between physiological/behavioral stress and human error.
A Study on Reduction of Hazard Conditions on Plant Work of Steel Industry

The hazard conditions on plant works of the steel industry have been investigated to efficiently prevent from industrial accidents. The plant works are eventually carried out by workers of smaller service companies where the safety management systems are not well established, on behalf of the main steel company. Based on the preliminary risk assessment on the plant working and open literature reviews, the safety management systems, which can be applied to the plant workplace of each process, are studied and then the step-by-step 4M check-list method is established. Accordingly, the risk assessment technique using 4M checklist for the plant workplace is proposed. In addition, a standardized flow-chart for safety management of plant work is introduced. These risk assessment technique and flow-chart can definitely contribute to the reduction of industrial accidents, considering the risk characterization and the unsafe conditions in small and medium-sized plant workplace, as effective safety management tools and safety guide line.
On the Construction of Requirements DB to Improve the Work Environment of Locomotive Cabs

The work environment of locomotive cabs has long been an important issue in the design of railload systems since it is quite critical in terms of system's operational safety. It is getting more attention as the running speed of the trains goes up these days. To this end, this paper describes how to systematically construct a DB for the requirements set in the course of the improvement process for the aforementioned cab work environment. As a solution approach, we have adopted the requirement architecture concept to cover the whole activities required to do such as in requirements generation, DB construction, change management, and traceability management. Specifically, based on the requirement architecture framework a requirement process to collect requirements for improvement is discussed, and the guide lines are suggested for verification and validation of the developed requirements. In addition, a base schema and requirements templates are developed, which will be used in generating requirements and constructing a DB. Finally, it is demonstrated how the requirements DB for locomotive cabs can be constructed using a computer-aided tool in an integrated fashion.
Effect of Safety Factors of Public Transportation on Customer Satisfaction

The purpose of this study is to understand the safety factors of the public transportation and recommend the experimental factors of customer satisfaction. The survey consist of 28 questions of 5 factors about users characteristics on roads, railways, ships, and flights. As a result of multiple regression analysis, we knew that there are three potential factors affecting customer satisfaction. The Factors are named 'expected', 'attitude', 'management', and the variable of factors affect customer satisfaction significantly. Therefore, it is good strategy for effective working to improve customer satisfaction that maintain attitude with safety minds, try to specialized management, and creating expectation for safety considering the difference by the type of public transportation. After considering the meaningful result, for the development of policies for customer satisfaction for safety, we have to consider expected, attitude, and management factors of workers and officials that influence customer safety and try to improve the managerial factors considering the characteristics of their own.
A Study of Hospital Job Evaluation based on Criterion for High-Risk Musculoskeletal Disorders

Main motivation for this study was to identify the relationship between high-risk hospital jobs and their symptoms associated. This study has three objectives; 1) Evaluate major jobs of hospital workers based on Criterion(Notification number 2003-24 from Ministry of Labor in Korea) for high-risk musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs), 2) Relate each jobs in criterion and the hospital jobs considered in this study, 3) Relate each jobs in criterion and MSDs symptoms of hospital workers. A total 141 hospital jobs was evaluated. Specifically, a total 688 hospital workers participated in the questionnaire survey in this study. There were two most jobs belonged to the numbers 2 and 4 from criterion. Most hospital workers participated in this study thought that the numbers 1 and 2 from criterion were associated with their jobs. In terms of MSDs symptoms, the numbers 1 and 2 from criterion were associated with their jobs as well. Further study for hospital jobs should be focused on breaking down quantification levels of each numbers in the criterion due to its atypical and non-repetitive job characteristics of hospital jobs.
The Strength Characteristics of Polymer Composites Injection Parts for Lightness and Safety

In this paper deals with strength of glass fiber reinforced plastics produced by shouting machine was investigated by universal testing instrument. We can obtain following results by performing the strength evaluation of polymer composite material according as varied environment temperature. The effect of environmental temperature on Strength properties was more sensitive in the weld specimen than parent. When changed environmental temperature, variation of strength in the parent was much bigger than it of weld specimen, that is, matrix in the parent, orientation in the specimen ware more sensitive to environmental strength. Tensile strength of polycarbonate matrix was similar regardless of mold temperature.
A study of flour dust explosion

This study examined into property of flour dust explosion to get the basic data for safety of industry by protecting accident of dust explosion. The experiment was conducted to know the effect of distance between explodes in the experiment device, effect of flour dust concentration, effect of humidity, effect of explosion pressure to the dust concentration and effect of inactive substance additive. The study indicated that explosion was happened effectively at the optimum distance 100mm or less in inter-polar distance, and minimum ignition energy was measured at 6mm. The data of feed concentration to the probability of explosion showed that the smaller the particle diameter was, the larger probability of explosion was, and the higher the dust concentration was, the more increased the pressure of explosion was, but more than upper limit of dust concentration, then the explosion of pressure decreased. For the effect of humidity, the more it contained water, the more decreased the ignition energy of dust was, so increased minimum explosive concentration, and effective water content was minimum 10% or more. Inactive substance additive was effective in adding more than 15% CaCO3 and CaO as substance inhibiting dust explosion, in which CaCO3 was more effective than CaO. the analysis of the flame of dust explosion was performed by high-speed video camera, it showed the size of flame bacame smaller in order that sub feed, main feed, wheat powder. As a result, sub feed was expected to be less dangerous than others.
A Comparison Study on Supplier and Green Supplier Selection Problems using Fuzzy AHP and BSC

Supplier selection is one of the most important activities of a company. This importance is increased even more by new strategies in a supply chain, because of the key role suppliers perform in terms of quality, costs and services which affect the outcome in the buyer's company. In addition, green production has become an important issue for almost every manufacturer and will determine the sustainability of a manufacturer. Therefore a performance evaluation system for supplier and green suppliers is necessary to determine the suitability of suppliers to cooperate with the company. Supplier and green supplier selection is a multiple criteria decision making problem in which the objectives are not equally important. In practice, vagueness and imprecision of the goals, constraints and parameters in these problems make the decision making complicated. The objective of this study is to construct a decision-making process using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and balanced scorecard (BSC) for evaluating supplier and green suppliers in the manufacturing industry. The BSC concept is applied to define the hierarchy with four major perspectives and performance indicators are selected for each perspective. FAHP is then proposed in order to tolerate vagueness and ambiguity of information. Finally, FAHP is applied to facilitate the solving process. With the proposed approach, manufacturers can have a better understanding of the capabilities that supplier and green supplier must possess and can evaluate and select the most suitable supplier for cooperation.
A AGV time-oriented Job Dispatching Methodology for Preventing the Tardiness

Customers are generally requiring a variety of products, earlier due date, and lower price. A manufacturing process needs the efficient scheduling to meet those customer's requirements. This study proposes the novel algorithm named MJA(Minimum Job completion time and AGV time) that increases the performance of machines and AGV(Automated Guided Vehicles) in many kinds of job types. MJA optimizes the bottleneck of machines and efficiency of AGV with considering two types of dispatching at the same time. Suggested algorithm was compared with existing heuristic methods by several simulations, it performed better for reducing the time of tardiness.
A study of the influence of Organizational Service Oriented Culture on the Service Quality and Customer Orientation

Among recent management innovation activities of companies, one of the most important competitive advantage through customer satisfaction, and to which members of the organization's service orientation is essential. The company's service orientation is closely related to the organization's culture. In this study, the organization's service-oriented culture, the internal service quality, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and ultimately affects the employee's influence on customer orientation will look at that. Results and implications of this study can be summarized as follows. the internal service quality among the factors tangibles, assurance, empathy, job satisfaction showed a significant influence on the type of empathy and emotional commitment castle had a significant impact on. With these results, relationships with colleagues within the organization, such as work environment and job satisfaction and emotional commitment, the atmosphere is very important to know that you can affect. Therefore, the members of the company to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment, corporate culture, business as well as collaboration with colleagues to share the emotional atmosphere of sympathy for the business environment will get improved.

The Study of Follow-up Audit Compliance for Quality Management System in Subcontractors of Shipbuilding Industry Based on ISO 9000 Requirements Changes

International Organization for Standardization has recently published ISO 9001:2008 which is the basic requirements for a quality management system that an organization must fulfil to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that enhance customer satisfaction and meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Not many empirical researches based on ISO 9001:2008 have been done up until now. In this article we outline transitional features for ISO 9000 quality management system (QMS) since its first publication in 1987. In order to effectively maintain ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification and continuously enhance quality management activities, we perform statistical analysis for the minor nonconformity data generated from follow-up audits for subcontractors of shipbuilding industry based on ISO 9001:2008 requirements. A Kruskal-Wallis test is used to show relationships between the minor nonconformity data and three classification criteria: the type of business, the size of business, and the number of follow-up audits.
The relationship between internal marketing and incremental innovation in small business

This paper reviewed the relationship between internal marketing and incremental innovation, and the moderating effect of firm size. The results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis, based on the responses from 322 employees in small business, showed that almost internal marketing factors effects positively on incremental innovation. All internal marketing factors(CEO support, compensation system, education & training, internal communication, authority delegation) appeared to be related positively with process innovation and service innovation. And all other factors(compensation system, education & training, internal communication, authority delegation) except CEO support showed to have positive relationship with operation innovation. In the moderating effects, internal communication effects more positively on incremental innovation in large firm-size than in small firm-size. But delegation effects more positively on incremental innovation in small firm-size than in large firm-size.
A Study on the Job Application of Postal Distance Training

When it comes to the training program conducted by company to improve job performance ability, it would be not a investment but a waste if the training contents is not practically applied to the business accomplishment. Even though some people raise a question on the job application of postal distance training, funded by employment insurance, the study on the job application of postal distance training shows that the components of the training program have a positive effect on it and the model has 60.5% validity. Moreover, its control effect on environmental support and individual characteristics has been partially established. The study has been conducted by questioning survey with the employees who completed a postal education 3 months ago. With the result, we can find that the postal distance training benefits employees to improve their job performance abilities and expect that it continuously plays a crucial role in the field of company training through the development of high-quality training programs.
A Study on Recalculation of the Long-Term Recycling Rate of New EPR Target Items

In the past annual recycling obligation rate calculation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system, it was difficult to operate the system efficiently, because responsible producers passively participated in the scheme only bent on achieving annual obligation without long-term plan. Thus, a new scheme of long-term recycling obligation rate began to be established every five year from 2008 in order to give the basis for the notice of annual specific operation standard and recycling obligation, thereby helping responsible producers to make a preparation with a plan and giving expectation of active operation of the scheme. However, in the operation of long-term recycling target program, while the development of prediction models and the evaluation for existing items has been conducted in various ways, applications for a new target items and the evaluation are quite insufficient. Therefore, in this study, problems in implementing long-term recycling goal of new target items will be examined, and more objective and rational long-term recycling rate calculation and the operation standard will be proposed. Thus, the long-term recycling target will play a role as a pacemaker to steadily improve the recycling performance of target items, and responsible producers will be expected to increase the achievement with the realistic capacity.

Taguchi's robust design methodology has focus only a single characteristic or response, but the quality of most products is seldom defined by a characteristics, and is rather the composite of a family of characteristics which are often interrelated and nearly always measured in a variety of units. The multiple characteristics problem is how to compromise the conflicts among the selected levels of the design parameters for each individual characteristic. This paper presents a Taguchi-like approach based upon improved weighted main effects. One case study is solved by the proposed method.
The Development of the Optimization Cutting Model for the H-Beam Steel

Recent cross-country competition and Chinese steel industry because of the emerging steel industry in Korea is a very difficult situation. Therefore, the steel industry in order to overcome this difficult market environment, the quality, cost competitiveness, enhance customer service levels and enhance international competitiveness through is needed. In this study, the purpose of strengthening the competitiveness of steel companies in order and hit the recovery of raw materials have been developed to optimize the model, developed before and after the results were analyzed. In addition, when applied to other products in order to minimize risk and optimize cutting trial stage of development details of the model is presented in detail. Therefore, the developed model was applied to order the recovery of raw materials hits and significantly improved production planning time has been shortened dramatically. In the present study the contents of other products when properly applied and the competitiveness of companies to improve customer service levels are expected to be helpful.
A Study on the Relation between Multivariate Process Control Techniques and Trend Algorithm

Autoregressed Controller, which have trend algorithm, seeks to minimize variability by transferring the output variable to the related process input variable, while multivariate process control techniques seek to reduce variability by detecting and eliminating assignable causes of variation. In the case of process control, a very reasonable objective is to try to minimize the variance of the output deviations from the target or set point. We also investigate algorithm with relevant Shewhart chart, Theoretical control charts, precontrol and process capability. To help the people who want to make the theoretical system, we compare the main techniques in "a study on the relation between multivariate process control techniques and trend algorithms".
A Research on the Analysis of Inhibiting Factors In Using Smartphones and the Measure of Promoting the Use of Smartphones

The number of smartphone users in Korea is reaching around 20 million. We perform a research on the actual conditions, complaints and the types of losses, damages or injuries from smartphone users in Korea. Apart form that, we conduct an investigation on the current problems in promoting the use of smartphones. We would like to suggest some points for promoting global uses of smartphones through the analysis of and the comparison with the abroad cases, which precursed the wide-spread of smartphones in Korea.
A Study on the Inhibition of Propylene Chlorohydrins in HPMC Manufacturing Process(I)

The purpose of this study is to minimize the PCH(Propylene CHlorohydrins) as a by-product in HPMC(HydroxyPropyl MethylCellulose) manufacturing process. HPMC is made of cellulose which is natural high polymer. And HPMC is applicable to several industrial areas. Especially it can be used in food industry as an effective additive. PCH is the by-product which is generated in chemical reaction in HPMC manufacturing process. So it is essential to eliminate PCH for the improvement of product quality. Therefore we have studied to minimize the amount of PCH. It is expected that the application of HPMC could be enlarged as the result of this study.

The purpose of this paper is to construct the interfaced and interdisciplinary curriculum among departments of the industrial technology for enhancing an engineer's creative problem-solving ability and reflecting the industrial demands. This ability is one of the important objectives in modern engineering education. To achieve this purpose the research is performed as followings : (1) the curriculums of the departments of the industrial technology are surveyed and reviewed, and then (2) the relationship with the curriculums of the three departments of the industrial technology are analysed. (3) With this results the interfaced and interdisciplinary curriculums are constructed. (4) The integrated engineering education curriculum to enhance effectively the engineer's creative problem-solving ability and reflect the industrial demands is suggested.
The Development of Enneagram Personality Type Inventory of the coaching for young people

This study aims to develop a diagnostic tool that can measure nine personality types of the enneagram types based on the theoretical content of enneagram to measure personality as a human factor among various factors that affect to performance for maximizing organization and individual's performance. We have develeped measure items to figure out 9 enneagram types. Since first of September of to 30th August 2011, we had a preliminary survey with total 842 students in zed the data. Based on the results of the analysis of preliminary invmiddle and high school and analyestigation, we made a Enneagram Personality Type Inventory for Young People with a total of 144 selected questions. 4,008 middle and high students across the country were surveyed and had statistical analysis with the data. The data shows Cronbach's
was from .77 to .86 for the 9 types. This diagnostic tool developed with this study will help students can understand, develop and grow themselves, also this can be useful in coaching and counseling areas like Personality, career, academic, career and leadership development.
A Study about The Correlation Analysis of National Skill Qualification under The High Scholastic Ability Society

Nowadays, our industries and occupation are increased under the economy development of government. So, this paper introduce to compare with coefficient's of correlation on the time series of the education and the qualification in our country. For this reason, the decision making to qualifications' foresight which will be change to the education category-prospective on the time series. The qualification has claasified 5 degrees-master craftsman, professional engineer, engineer, technician(or industrial engineer), craftsman - and 516 qualification items. Education has classified to 4 degrees(7 degrees) - elementary, middle, high, high scholastic level school(college, university, graduation). This paper has matched to educational classification and qualification classification through the following method. We defined the same level between education and qualification after analysed correlation under the time series, so the craftsman equals high school graduation people, technician equals college graduation people, engineer quals university graduation people, now we could not analyse master and professional levels. This paper will suggest to the qualification's future policy direction and improve the education policy direction.

According to the rapid evolution of information technology, the salesperson's business efficiency and faster information sharing within the enterprise that need to improve competitiveness has been increasing steadily. In general, many companies has been managed the sales through the ERP system. However, the ERP informations as a result of operating activities can not perform customer maintenance activities from strategic planning. Therefore, a series of sales activities information as corporate intellectual assets is needed strategic business solutions for managing it. In this study, the web-based SFA systems were designed for salesperson. Salespersons improve the efficiency of the business through management and improvement activities of sales information. The systematic customer information management contribute to improving the company's revenue through improved customer service satisfaction.
