In order to prevent any accidents from construction site, now as we all know, we have to approach on it with work based method. These days, the interest in the gas safety management has been increasing in our society, It needs the estimates to later investment in points of the gas safety management investment for prevention costs from gas accidents. It is written the general concept of gas safety management and the items that should be invested under the current policy. However they are not defined clearly and We have lots of difficulties in adapting them to actual spots and understanding them by their carry-out. When it follows the current safety standards, they doesn't meet the possibilities of mutual comparison, because gas safety management investment's definition is different. And sufficient information is not supported to efficiency adjudication of gas safety management investment. In this paper, you can find that Gas safety management is defined in order to more effective gas safety management investment, and the Socioscentific approach method was used to decide the gas safety management items that shall be invested.

This paper shows the study for development inprocess measuring magnetic sensor for tolerance control, First, we fabricated and annealed sample amorphous ribbons which were made of (

Then, we measured the magnetic characteristics such as frequency dependency over impedance variation rate and position change over impedance variation. As the results of the evaluation, we found that the sample ribbons had excellent sensor characteristics. A Study on the Impedimental Factors for Flight Safety of Cockpit Automation Systems

Accident statistics cite the flightcrew as a primary contributor in about 70 percent of accidents involving transport category airplanes. The introduction of modem flight deck designs, which have automated many piloting tasks, has reduced or eliminated some types of flightcrew errors, but other types of errors have been introduced. To identify the impedimental factors in highly automated modem airplane cockpit systems, this study used readily available information sources and case study, From the evidence, this study identified issues that show vulnerabilities in pilot management of automation, situation awareness, communication between pilots and controllers, pilot's training and evaluation methods. The next step will require the aviation community to solve these problems for the safety improvement.

To alleviate industrial accident, machine-oriented safety supervision is superior to that of manpower-oriented in spite of diversified efforts, in many aspects. A Process Hazard Analysis using HAZOP in K Chemical Plant

Hazard and operability Review(HAZOP) is widely used as a process safety analysis which systematically identifies potential process deviations and settles the problems. In this paper, we carried out a process hazard analysis using HAZOP in K chemical plant. As a result, we showed that the plant could be operated more saftly and be saved a lot of money by eliminating several existing hazardous factors through the change of processes and designs.
A Study on Environmentally Conscious Machining Processes using LCA

The objective of ECMS(Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing Systems) is to consider environmental effects through the entire product life cycle from product development stage to design, manufacturing, supplying, using and disposing stage. Recently, environment-oriented recycling, reusing and manufacturing technologies have been researched actively in every engineering fields. In the field of chemical engineering, HHS(Health Hazard Scores) which classifies and analyzes hazardous materials in production processes has been presented. Metal cutting processes also have a lot of harmful factors, and especially hazardous components in cutting fluids have been known to have a bad effect on workers and working area. However, research works such as HHS have been little accomplished in metal cutting processes. In this research, a environmentally conscious machining process is presented by classifying hazardous components in cutting fluids, by using LCA(Life Cycle Assessments) and HHS method, and by evaluating environmental effects from cutting fluids.
The Parameter Design of Multiple Characteristics with Correlation

When designing the parameter on the multiple quality characteristics, there has been a study for optimization of problems, but there has been few former study on the possible conflicting phenomena in consideration of the correlations among the characteristics. To solve the issue on the optimal design for multiple quality characteristics, this study modelled the expected loss function with cross-product terms among the characteristics and derived range of the coefficients of the terms. The model will be used to determine the global optimal design parameters where there exists the conflict among the characteristics, which shows difference in optimal design parameters for the individual characteristics.
