This research was analyzed regarding comparing features of expressions between clothes in movie,
, and cyber clothes that were made by Marvelous Designer2 which is a design CAD. This research was studied to experiment an expressing possibility of clothes simulation software which was developed currently. Therefore, we picked clothes that are good at movement and detail in the movie. The dress theory of the renaissance which is the period background of movie,
was considered and studied as pattern, silhouette, material, color, detail and animation. The movie`s dresses are made with 3D virtual and compared so 3D virtual clothes`s benefits and weaknesses can be analyzed. As a result, we found that 3D virtual dress can show the real movie`s feature accordingly with current developed IT standard. This will assist a development in fashion industry and become a new indicator for 3D movie clothing.

The Influence of Consumers` Innovativeness and Trust on Acceptance Intention of Sensor-based Smart Clothing

This study examines consumer`s acceptance intention of sensor-based smart clothing empolying the extended TAM. Technology innovativeness, information innovativeness and trust were used as external variables and perceived palyfulness was included in the extetended TAM. Data were collected from the adults over 20 years old living in Daegu from March 14 to 18, 2011. 193 useful copies of data were analyzed to investigate a structural model and test research hypotheses using AMOS 7.0. The study results showed that the extended TAM for smart clothing was validated empirically in predicting the individual`s acceptance of sensor-based smart clothing and 10 hypotheses among 12 hypotheses were supported. Technology innovation, information innovation, and trust were confirmed as antecedent variables in affecting extended TAM. Perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness directly influenced acceptance intention and indirectly influenced acceptance intention mediating attitude. Perceived usefulness affected perceived playfulness and attitude affected acceptance intention. This study will help marketers and managers of fashion companies devise effective tools in planning marketing strategies related to smart clothing.
Meaning of Innovative Company: Exploration through Qualitative Research

The purpose of this study was to explore an intrinsic concept of `company innovativeness` based on qualitative data obtained from 54 practitioners with at least 5 year-experience in the industry. Data were analyzed based on the grounded theory and Nvivo 2.0 program. Based on results, seven theme were generated. Seven intrinsic theme include 5 intrinsic concepts such as learning orientation, excellence of human resource, treatment for employees, market orientation and work efficiency, and 2 performance concepts such as business performance and innovation performance. These diverse concepts were considered as an important guideline in judging whether a company is innovative or not. In addition, diverse programs were provided by companies for a purpose of enhancing company innovativeness. Based on results, a research model was suggested to be elaborated in future studies. Implications and suggestions were generated based on results.
A Literature Review of Cognitive Age

The purpose of this study was to review the results of previous researches related to cognitive age and to verify variables related to cognitive age. Using the key words of cognitive age, subjective age, self-perceived age and age difference from major academic databases in Korea (KISS), the related research articles were collected and analyzed. The results of this study were as follows: First, educational level and marital status were related to cognitive age but its relationship to the other demographic variables were inconsistent. Second, self-esteem and life satisfaction were associated with cognitive age. Third, consumer behavior such as information-seeking behavior, impulsive buying orientation and brand sensitivity and clothing behavior such as apparel shopping orientation and fashion leadership were related to cognitive age.
The Effects of Conspicuous Consumption Tendency on Fashion Involvement by Age Groups

The purpose of this study was examine the effects of the conspicuous consumption tendency by age on fashion involvement. Questionnaires were distributed to 554 females in their 20s-50s. for the final analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, as a result of the examination of the differences between conspicuous consumption and fashion involvement by age, people in their 20s showed the highest conspicuous consumption and fashion involvement. Second, as a result of the analysis of the effects of the conspicuous consumption by age on the fashion involvement, people in their 20s and 30s influenced the appearance management among the factors of the individuality pursuit orientation and those in the 40s physical supplementation and appearance management and those in the 50s the physical supplementation and sexual appeal. The brand orientation factor influenced social symbol to all the people in their 20s to 50s and the high price orientation factor did not influence any of the people in their 20s to 50s. The trend pursuit orientation factor showed its influence on appearance management to those in their 30s and sexual appeal and conformity to those in their 40s.
A study on the Purchase Appraisal Standard and Post-purchase Satisfaction of Natural Dyeing Products

The purpose of this study was to find purchase appraisal standard and post-purchase satisfaction for natural dyeing products. The data used for this study were collected from the women in their from 20`s to 50`s who are living in the regions of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam in Korea. The questionnaire of 537 copies was used for a statistical analysis. To analyze data, 2-test, t-test, Cronbach`s a test, factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, regression analysis, etc. were carried out. A used statistical package was SPSS 14.0. The analysis results were as follows. The purchase appraisal standards for natural dyeing products were identified as practicality and reliability, suitability of use, symbolic property of status, design property, and convenience of buying. As the analysis result for purchase appraisal standard according to the demographic characteristics, the purchase appraisal standard according to most demographic characteristics showed significant difference. The factors of post-purchase satisfaction for natural dyeing products were verified as product modification and durability, design and price, hygienic property and product quality. As the analysis results of post-purchase satisfaction for natural dyeing products according to demographic characteristics, the post-purchase satisfaction according to demographic characteristics showed significant difference. The factors affecting post-purchase satisfaction were verified as product quality, kinds of item, color change, product lifespan, color change, etc. Consequently, because the purchase appraisal standard of natural dyeing product is very various, it is necessary to enhance post-purchase satisfaction of natural dyeing products by reflecting these factors in advance at the product development stage.
The Effect of Consumer`s Prosumer Propensity on the WOM Effect of Fashion Website

Compared to off-line, on-line word-of-mouth has fast dissemination speed and extensive effects based on interactive features. Moreover, in the age of Web 2.0, on-line media has made consumers evolve from simple purchasers to producers, who intervene into product manufacturing through on-line WOM. According to this, this study is conducted to clarify how consumer`s prosumer propensity affects WOM in detail when purchasing fashion products on-line through website interactivity and perceived usefulness of WOM. The results are as follows. 1. Consumer`s prosumer propensity is classified in four dimensions: the propensity to participate, the propensity to relate, the propensity to amuse and the propensity to create. 2. The sample has shown low prosumer propensity overall, and there were no gender differences. 3. Testing structural equation model, it was clarified that the higher the consumer`s prosumer propensity, the higher the consumer`s evaluation of website interactivity and thus the greater the WOM effect through its perception of usefulness. 4. There were some differences in the path of structural equation model according to consumer`s prosumer propensity. From the results, it can be concluded that consumer`s prosumer propensity is a key factor in the on-line WOM. Therefore fashion businesses should actively utilize consumer`s prosumer propensity to apply their opinion in the product planning stage or use it as the means of company-friendly viral marketing.
Analysis of Utilization of Virtual Try on Simulation and Consumers` Preference in Apparel Online Shopping

Recent rapid development of computer, information communication and Web service technologies is exerting considerable effects on all industrial areas. As such digital technologies are also introduced to the clothing and fashion industry and create `virtual garment environment` consisting of 3D virtual bodies, virtual garments and virtual try-on systems, consumers are now able to try virtual garments on their virtual body online. This study was conducted in order to analyze consumers` tendency of clothing purchase using 3D virtual simulation technology, which is increasing attention throughout the world, and to propose strategies on the development of virtual try-on technology for activating apparel online shopping. The subjects of this study were men and women aged 18 or older living in the North Carolina State, U.S., and a questionnaire survey was conducted with them on their tendency of apparel online shopping and their preference for real garments and virtual garments. According to the results of this study, consumers` awareness of apparel shopping using virtual try-on was still low. Moreover, in the results of surveying consumers` purchase preference for real garments and virtual garments, preference was highest for real garment (P), which was followed by virtual garments OA, OB and BB. Based on the results of this study, for the activation of apparel online shopping using virtual simulation technology, it is considered necessary to provide services implementing virtual try-on similar to consumers` actual try-on. This requires further active research and technology development on virtual try-on simulation using digital technologies.
Comparison of Jumper and Jacket Preference of Senior Females according to their Ages

The purpose of this study is to compare female members`s jumper and jacket preferences for five different styles of Fall/Winter jumpers and jackets, divided into three age groups(65-69 yr, 70-74 yr, over 75 yr). Total 324 senior females, ages over 65 in Kimhae and Busan area were chosen for the study. The major findings of this study were as follow; For the age group, 65 to 69, in the jumper category, it was important for them to look slender and sophisticated. Jumpers with quilted thin fabrics, jumpers with hooded jumpers zippers, and short chinese collar in the short blouson style were preferred in the age group. Jacket needed to be designed in A-line styles, short or long with one or two buttons and of various length. For those in the 70 to 74 age group, the jumper designs need to be tidy and clean with box-shaped pockets. In addition, various formal style jumpers with increasing length up to hip lines. For jackets, it is necessary to increase the number of designs with convertible collars with three button in front, elegantly covered pocket, long enough to cover the hip line. For those in the age group of 75 or over, it was essential for jumpers and jackets to be of increasing length in box style, loose-fit with, front-closure or snap buttons and out pockets that allows one to put their hands in the jumper. They preferred jacket length down to the hip-line, wing collar for jumpers, tailored collar for jackets more than the other age groups.
An Analysis of the Demands for the Improvement of Versatile Safety Vests for Traffic Police Officers

Traffic police officers are faced with many dangerous accidents due to outside duties on roads. Yet, researches on traffic officers` uniforms have mainly been focused on design aspects rather than functional aspects. This study therefore aims to figure out traffic officers` perceived needs for their uniforms and to offer some basic guidelines in manufacturing versatile safety vests for wearers. The study used a documentary survey replied by 236 traffic officers. The results of the study are as follows: 1. There are 10 different types of vests currently used by traffic officers. Vests are employed for purposes such as carrying police equipments, enabling officers to be noticeable in dark, protecting the body, etc. 2. Officers wear these vests which were officially designated by law. Among them, fluorescence versatile safety vests were most frequently worn by officers. 3. Officers who wore ready-made vests of which size was already determined, tended to perceive that the vests were relatively larger than their own size. 4. In terms of the functions of the vests, officers expressed needs for the improvement of the LED and retro-reflection tape along with the addition of thermal function to existing vests. The improvement of the form and functions of versatile safety vests which reflect needs of the users will boost the dignity and the sense of duty of the traffic police officers.
Development of Sleeve Patterns of Structural Firefighting Protective Clothing using by 3D Body Shape and 3D Motion Analysis

This study aims at developing ergonomics patterns for the sleeve of structural firefighting protective clothing through 3D motion analysis in order to ensure efficiency and safety of firefighters who are exposed to harmful environment at work. A new research pattern was developed by applying the total results of 3D motion analysis, changes of body surface length measurements, and 2D data on 3D body shape analysis on the size 3 patterns of the existing coat sleeve. For the sleeves, we used the body surface length of the range of shoulder`s flexion and the joint angle of the range of wrist`s ulnar deviation. And for the production of structural firefighting protective clothing using the research pattern, we recruited a recognized producer of structural firefighting protective clothing designated by KFI. Unlike everyday clothes, structural firefighting protective clothing should be able to fully protect the wearers from the harmful environment that threatens their lives and should not cause any restrictions on their movement. Therefore, the focus of research and development of such protective clothing should be placed on consistent development of new technologies and production methods that will provide protection and comfort for the wearer rather than production cost reduction or operational efficiency. This study is meaningful as it applied 3D motion analysis instead of the existing methods to develop the patterns. In particular, since 3D motion analysis enables the measurement of the range of motion, there should be continuous research on the development of ergonomics patterns that consider workers` range of motion.
Changes in Waterproofness and Breathability after Repeated Laundering and Durability of Electrospun Nanofiber Web Laminates

To develop a waterproof breathable material, we fabricated three kinds of nanofiber web laminates using a massproduced electrospun nanofiber web with different substrates and layer structures. The waterproofness and breathability of nanofiber web laminates were evaluated after repeated launderings and compared with those of conventional waterproof breathable fabrics currently in use, including densely woven fabric, microporous membrane laminated fabric, and coated fabric. The durability of nanofiber web laminates, including adhesion strength, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and tearing strength, was also assessed and compared with those of conventional waterproof breathable fabrics. The water vapor transmission of nanofiber web laminates increased slightly after repeated launderings, whereas the air permeability somewhat decreased after launderings but still maintained an acceptable level of air permeability. Laundering reduced the resistance to water penetration of nanofiber web laminates, which implies that laminating techniques or substrate materials that could support waterproofness of the laminated structure should be explored. The adhesion strength, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and tearing strength of nanofiber web laminates were in a range comparable to conventional waterproof breathable materials.
Analysis of Thermography on Skin Temperature during Exercise

The purpose of this study was to investigate the variation of regional skin temperature with thermography during exercise. Seven men completed 82-min trials which consisted of rest, exercise of
max 60% and recovery period at
. Changes in skin temperature due to physical activity varied, depending region of the body. The skin temperature of the chest was significantly lowered and that of the back was significantly increased after exercise period(p < 0.05). There were significant negative relationship between the skin temperature of the chest and thermal comfort sensation, and positive relationship between skin temperature of the back and thermal comfort sensation(p < 0.05). It would be better to keep the chest warm, and the back cool during exercise. The skin temperature changed differently on body site due to exercise, and it was influenced by blood flow, sweating and air movement. This study would be meaningful in that the change of regional skin temperature during exercise was investigated consecutively with thermography. In further study, it would be more realistic to measure physiological response with functional sportswear which applies different functional fabric based on skin temperature.
The Influence of Physical Functions on Clothing Behavior of Elderly People

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of physical functions of elderly people on their clothing behavior and to provide basic information about manufacturing comfortable apparels for the elderly. A total of 219 people, with ages between 60s and 70s, participated in the survey and in the experiment to correlate their tendency of wearing clothes with the state of their physical functions. About 78.5% of the elderly showed eyesight deterioration in the subjective evaluation. Elders in their 60s raised their arms higher up in overhead reach, and showed shorter distance between middle fingertips in behind back stretch and in back scratch than elders in their 70s. Also, the former stretched farther to the floor in standing trunk flexion, and maintained more steady in one leg stand and in tandem stance than the latter. The narrower the movement range of the upper limb joints was, the more the elderly preferred upper garments with full front opening to those with half or no opening. The more inflexible the upper limbs and waist and the more unbalanced the body was, the more likely the elderly put on pants while sitting on the floor. The time taken to button up the shirt and to put on and take off pants showed a positive correlation with the overhead reach, the behind back stretch, the back scratch and the standing trunk flexion, whereas the former showed a negative correlation with the one leg stand and the tandem stance.
Analysis of Patented Technology for Health related Footwear

The patent application state of Europe, U.S.A, and Korea was analyzed to grasp the technology development trends and to suggest a direction for research development of health related shoes. Europe has high concentration of patent activity in corrective treatment, while Korea has high concentration in fitness and U.S.A in diet related fields. Numerous shape and structure designs were done to have the effect of corrective treatment. Adding weight to shoes has been used to create diet-effect, but it suggests a lack of technical methods to increase weight effectively. For fitness effect, variation of shape and structure of the outsole are often used.
