A Fast Restoration Method for the High Priority Traffics in MPLS Networks

Path restoration, which is needed to increase network survivability in MPLS networks, is a technology of supplying reliable service by delivering the traffics through restoring the paths when links or nodes of a working path are failed. In this paper, we propose a path restoration method using duplication of working paths for link failure as a method of restoring paths for the high priority traffics. The existing path restoration method transmits the traffics to the path restoration uniformly in regardless of the priority while link obstacle. It has a problem to take a long time to restore the connection of the high priority traffics. On the other hand, the suggested restoration method establishes the duplication path for the working path, which transmits the high priority traffics and transmit the traffics through the duplication path. It has a strong point to restore the connection quickly. Also, through simulation we analyze the performance of the restoration system using the duplication path and prove that the proposed restoration method is superior in performance to the existing restoration methods regarding to the high priority traffics.
Design and Implementation of Raw File System for Web Cache Server

The technique which stores cache data in EXT2 or UFS designed for general purpose is not suitable for satisfying the speed required for web cache due to the general purpose file system. This study shows that there is the better solution by optimizing the file system using the characteristics of web file. It is impossible that the suggested RawCFS changes the size of cached object and the access authentication, and this results from the existence of up-to-dated object in the original server. This file system is proved in the capability test that it is faster than the technique by 40% which stores in each file by object unit. This can be used in the design of high end web server such as shoppingmall or Internet Broadcasting station which should provide objects like image or HTML as well as cache server to the client for the fast service.
Web Version Management System for Software Cooperation Development Environment

This paper is to describe how to refer to software objects and reuse them through the web browser so that ail the members of the software development team can collaborate with each other on the development procedure, In addition, we describe how to convert the
,mdl design information generated from the UML editor into their corresponding XML data, which is arranged to be saved in the relational database system. Furthermore, we provide a facet retrieval system based on which makes use of a object-oriented thesaurus, which supports an integrated environment through which all the project team members can share a lot of source codes and execution files as weil as object files produced from the web-based collaborative development environment. Finally, we have designed and implemented a web version management system that facilitates software developers to manage in their web-based search for the relationship of design informations.
On Natural Motion Editing by a Geometric Mean Filter

Recently, motion capture has become one of the most promising technologies in animation. Realistic motion data can be captured by recording the movement of a real actor with an optical or magnetic motion capture system. This paper deals with motion editing by a geometric mean filter. Since the captured motion has some noises that cause a jerky motion, it needs a smoothing process to make it natural. A geometric mean filter is proposed to produce natural motions without jerky motions. Experimental results show that the geometric mean filter can effectively remove noises that cause a jerky motion and it can guarantee the most natural motions among various spatial filters. This method could be applied to the various fields such as real time animation, virtual reality applications, 3D applications, and etc.
The Modeling and Traffic Feedback Control for QoS Management on Local Network

Throughput response characteristics depending on the network bandwidth allocation is needed to be modeled to devise adaptive control mechanism to support QoS of the local network. In this study, we propose a dynamic system model that reveals the response characteristics of network. The adaptive traffic feedback control is applied to this model. And we simulate this system for optimization of adaptive control mechanism.
Design and Implementation of an XML Editor based on WYSIWYG

As XML has been used as a markup language for standard documents in various areas, it requires an XML editing tool which writes XML documents easily and presents the style of documents. Therefore, many companies have developed XML editing tools and have released the products. However, it is hard for beginners to write XML documents using such tools. In this paper, we design and implement an XML editor based on WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) that beginners as well as exports can use easily. Our XML editor allows beginners to write easily XML documents and style documents. We also integrate our XML editor with the XML repository system developed in our laboratory.
Obesity Evaluation System using Fuzzy Inference

It has recently become known that the social issue of obesity, caused by increased caloric intake and lack of exercise, is a risk factor in the cause of various adult diseases. Above all, to prevent or cure obesity, we must accurately evaluate the degree of obesity, and we have used BML, WHR, and waist measurements for this purpose. In this paper, we propose an obesity evaluation system based on fuzzy inference using BML and waist measurement. For this purpose, we decided reasoning rule and membership function about BML and waist measurements. The inference result is presented in a descriptive sentence.
Modificated Intrusion Pattern Classification Technique based on Bayesian Network

Program Behavior Intrusion Detection Technique analyses system calls that called by daemon program or root authority, constructs profiles, and detectes modificated anomaly intrusions effectively. In this paper, the relation among system calls of processes is represented by bayesian network and Multiple Sequence Alignment. Program behavior profiling by Bayesian Network classifies modified anomaly intrusion behaviors, and detects anomaly behaviors. we had simulation by proposed normal behavior profiling technique using UNM data.
