The growth of Internet is the main factor that activates the Digital Contents Market and gives the convenience, efficiency and usefulness to the users. However the Digital Contents Market could be shrunk by an illegal reprinting and imprudent using. As a result, recently we can see that using the contents illegally through Internet makes the troubles between providers and customers and finally they are at law. Therefore we urgently need a new technology which can prevent the contents from illegal using, illegal reprinting and imprudent using, We developed the system prohibits a imprudent using in order to activate the Digital Contents Market, We developed the system protects the contents safely by removing the dangerous for the illegal reprinting with providing the encoded contents and the system removes the contents according to the number of usage and the user authentication through network.

It is easy to access to the infinity information and programs, but it gives rise to the side effect. There are many side effects(ex. Hacking, Cracking, expose the personal information, etc). Nowadays, the computer virus raise the serious problems. The making program called Vaccine is work out a count measure. The Anti-Virus programs install on the client side computer and upgrade by downloading on the server's signature, the latest date, the program bound both of them is shown, but these programs have the defect that they have no remote control and no signature update because user's unconcern, This paper reported the research of existing virus infecting technology and the development of Web based Anti-Virus Scanner using the remote control on the internet server. Through this paper, I want to set up the counter measure for new virus easily, and to make more fast the vaccine for virus.

Journal of Internet Computing and Services, volume 5, issue 3, 2004, Pages 25~33
Mobile IP Low Latency Handoffs(l) allow greater support for real-time services on a Mobile IP network by minimizing the period of time when a mobile node is unable to send or receive IP packets due to the delay in the Mobile IP Registration process. However, on Mobile IP network with AAA servers that are capable of performing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting(AAA) services, every Registration has to be traversed to the home network to achieve new session keys, that are distributed by home AAA server, for a new Mobile IP session. This communication delay is the time taken to re-authentication the mobile node and to traverse between foreign and home network even if the mobile node has been previously authorized to old foreign agent. In order to reduce these extra time overheads, we present a method that performs Low Latency Handoffs without requiring further involvement by home AAA server. The method re-uses the previously assigned session keys. To provide confidentiality and integrity of session keys in the phase of key exchange between agents, it uses a key sharing method by gateway foreign agent that performs a trusted thirty party. The proposed method allows the mobile node to perform Low Latency Handoffs with fast as well as secure operation.
Modeling of Input Buffered Multistage Interconnection Networks using Small Clock Cycle Scheme

Journal of Internet Computing and Services, volume 5, issue 3, 2004, Pages 35~43
In packet switching using multistage interconnection networks (MIN's), it is generally assumed that the packet movements successively propagate from the last stage to the first stage in one network cycle. However, Ding and Bhuyan has shown that the network performance can be significantly improved if the packet movements are confined within each pair of adjacent stages using small clock cycles. In this paper, an analytical model for evaluating the performance of input-buffered MlN's employing this network cycle approach is proposed, The effectiveness of the proposed model is confirmed by comparing results from the simulation as well as from Ding and Bhuyan model.
The Performance Evaluation of an ATM Switch supporting AAL Type 2 cell Switching and The FPGA Implementation of AAL Type 2 Switch Module

Journal of Internet Computing and Services, volume 5, issue 3, 2004, Pages 45~56
In this paper, we propose ATM switch architecture including ALL type 2 switch which can efficiently transmit low-bit rate data, even if the network has many endpoints. We simulate the architecture of ATM switch fabric that is modeled in computer program and analyze the performance according to offered loads. ATM switch proposed in this paper can support cell switching for all types of m cells which consist of ALL type 1. ALL type 2, ALL type 3/4 and ALL type 5 cells. We propose two switch fabric methods; One supports the ALL type 2 cell processing per input port, the other global ALL type 2 cell processing for every input port. The simulation results show that the latter is superior to the former. But the former has a merit for easy implementation and extensibility. In this paper, the AAL Type 2 switch module which adapts the former method is designed using VHDL language and implemented in FPGA chip. The designed AAL Type 2 switch module operates at 52MHz. The proposed ATM switch fabric is widely applicable to mobile communication, narrow band services over ATM network and wireless ATM as well as general ATM switching fabric.
Efficient Speaker Identification based on Robust VQ-PCA
Lee Ki-Yong ;
Journal of Internet Computing and Services, volume 5, issue 3, 2004, Pages 57~62
In this paper, an efficient speaker identification based on robust vector quantizationprincipal component analysis (VQ-PCA) is proposed to solve the problems from outliers and high dimensionality of training feature vectors in speaker identification, Firstly, the proposed method partitions the data space into several disjoint regions by roust VQ based on M-estimation. Secondly, the robust PCA is obtained from the covariance matrix in each region. Finally, our method obtains the Gaussian Mixture model (GMM) for speaker from the transformed feature vectors with reduced dimension by the robust PCA in each region, Compared to the conventional GMM with diagonal covariance matrix, under the same performance, the proposed method gives faster results with less storage and, moreover, shows robust performance to outliers.

Recently the range of mobile phone's usage has become more widely since phone has the function of data communication and voice communication. In addition, the request of users who wish to represent their identity on their mobile phones by storing some kinds of multimedia data such as images and melody has increased. There are two different methods for downloading the multimedia data; one method accesses a wireless internet server to download the data and another method downloads the data from PC directly. While the first one requires extra fee for downloading the data, the second method has weakness to modify the original data and it cannot be used in GSM phone yet since it is developed for CDMA phone. In this paper, we introduce a PC-based download application system that enables the users to download multimedia data from PC to GSM phone very easily.

This paper presents a hybrid digital watermarking scheme for color images, We insert two watermarks in the DWT domain using spread-spectrum correlation-based watermarking in luminance component of the color image and in spatial domain using pixel-value substitution of blue channel of color image. The objectives of this paper are to have the watermark robust to common signal processing and to detect any changes on the watermarked image for tamper detection at the same time. This watermark scheme will have the robustness characteristic as typical in frequency domain watermark, and also ability to detect any changes on the image (tamper detection).

Journal of Internet Computing and Services, volume 5, issue 3, 2004, Pages 87~98
There are several types of distributed subscribers network using Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), Very high-bit rate Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL), and Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS), The efficient and concentrated network management of those several distributed subscribers networks and resources require the general information model of network, which has abstract and conceptional managed objects independent of type of network and its equipment to manage the integrated subscriber network, This paper presents the general Internet subscribers network modeling framework using RM-ODP (Reference Model Open Distributed Processing) to manage that network In the form of integrated hierarchy, This paper adopts the object-oriented development methodology with UML (Unified Modeling Language) and designs and implements the HFC network of DOCSIS as an example of the subscriber network.

We have designed and implemented a Voice Messenger System(VMS) for sending and receiving voice data in order to measure and analyze the performance of a multimedia data transfer system using PDAs(Personal Digital Assistants) in a fast wireless LAN environment. The VMS has been configured as an infrastructure network by integrating a wireless intra-network based on IEEE 802,11 b standard with a wired network based on Ethernet. A sending time, a receiving time and a round-trip time(RTT) have been measured by varying its pecket size from 256 to 6656 bytes, Besides, we have performed the experiments to see which NIC is more stable between CF and PCMCIA type in such a wireless LAN environment, The results of such experiments show that the NIC with PCMClA type is better than that with CF type from the points of both efficiency and stability. The performance of a notebook computer with the attachment of a wireless NIC that is used as a VMS client is almost constant by varying its packet size when transferring voice data. However, with PDA client, in the case of receiving packets from the VMS server, the performance is the best when the pecket size is 6656 bytes, In addition, in the case of sending packets from PDA client to the VMS server, the performance is the best when the packet size is 4096 bytes. Even with the same pecket size, the time of receiving packets from the VMS server to PDA is longer than the time of sending packets from PDA to the VMS Server, Thus, we conclude that when PDA is used as a client by applying different pecket size when sending and receiving packets should be achieved a better performance over a wireless LAN environment.
