Dynamic and Reuseable Composition Model of Web Services using BPEL4WS

Web services are being recognized as the efficient way to integrate the distributed applications on the web based on the web standards such as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Recently, BPEL4WS is suggested as a standard integration model language for web services to integrate them efficiently. The recent studies of web service integration are focused on the comparability among the services, process identification and tracing, and automation, However, little or no effort has been dedicated to the reusability, extensibility on the business process integrated services and how to allocate the services dynamically, So, in this paper, we propose how to increase the reusability and extensibility of integrated structure when services are integrated using BPEL4WS, and how to allocate and use the services dynamically. Also, we propose the framework of the composition of web services for the efficient use of suggested integrated structure.
A Variability Design Technique based on Component Architecture for Dynamic Component Integration

Software development by component integration is the mainstream for time-to-market and is the solution for overcoming the short lifecycle of software. Therefore, the effective techniques for component integration have been working. However, the systematic and practical technique has not been proposed. One of main issues for component integration is how to specify integration and the component architecture for operating the specification, in this paper, we propose a workflow variability design technique for component integration, This technique focuses on designing to a connection contract based on the component architecture. The connection contract is designed to use the provided interface of component and the architecture can assemble and customize components by the connection contract dynamically,
Schedulability Test using task utilization in Real-Time system

The Rate Monotonic(RM) scheduling algorithm and Earliest Deadline First(EDF) scheduling algorithm are normally used in Real-Time scheduling algorithm. In those scheduling algorithm, we could predict the performance possibility with total utilization value of task group. But. it had problems with prediction of the boundedness in individual task when the utilization value was over in temporary task. In this paper, the suggested scheduling algorithm can predict task when the utilization value was over and it suggested the method of predicting scheduling possibility based on the utilization value of individual task as well. it predicted the boundedness of scheduling possibility test through simulation In Real-Time scheduling algorithm and analyzed the result.
A Software Size Estimation Using Weighted FFP

Most of the methods of estimating the size of software are based on the functions provided to costumers and in the process of granting the score to each function we consider the complexity during the process. The FFP technique has advantages applied to vast areas like data management. real-time system, algorithmic software, etc, but on the other hand, has disadvantage on estimating sizes for weights for necessary function elements. This paper proposes the estimating method for software size by considering the complexity of each function elements in full function point calculation method applied to a new developed project and maintenance projects. For this, based on function point by using surveyed data proved the validity of proposed method. The valid result. was that the function elements, the attributes used in size estimation of software, est mated better estimated sizes than in the case of other weights being applied.
A Priority Process Based Connector's Interaction considering Component Processing Time

Connector's role between components is very important in the CBD(Component Based Development). The most connector has process ADL based rrethod was choosing FIFO method by component request. But in case many component's with various characteristics request It is difficult that this method operate efficiently, In this research, I did design and implement priority connector considering component's processing time, Also, I used Wright architecture for formal specification. Application result of proposed connector was spend more 388ms compares with existent FIFO method in total processing time. But this method could handle preferentially from components that have short processing time. Also, in case of component's waiting time in connector, existent FIFO method is 23323,1 ms and proposal method is 12731.27ms, So, proposal method could reduce waiting time for component process.
3D Image Coding Using DCT and Hierarchical Segmentation Vector Quantization

In this paper, for compression and transmission of 3D image, we propose an algorithm which executes 3D discrete cosine transform(DCT) for 3D images, hierarchically segments 3D blocks of an image in comparison with the original image and executes finite-state vector quantization(FSVQ) for each 3D block. Using 3D DCT coefficient feature, a 3D image is segmented hierarchically into large smooth blocks and small edge blocks, then the block hierarchy informations are transmitted. The codebooks are constructed for each hierarchical blocks respectively, the encoder transmits codeword index using FSVQ for reducing encoded bit with hierarchical segmentation information. The new algorithm suggested in this paper shows that the quality of Small Lobster and Head image increased by 1,91 dB and 1.47 dB respectively compared with those of HFSVQ.
A Content-Aware toad Balancing Technique Based on Histogram Transformation in a Cluster Web Server

As the Internet users are increasing rapidly, a cluster web server system is attracted by many researchers and Internet service providers. The cluster web server has been developed to efficiently support a larger number of users as well as to provide high scalable and available system. In order to provide the high performance in the cluster web server, efficient load distribution is important, and recently many content-aware request distribution techniques have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a new content-aware load balancing technique that can evenly distribute the workload to each node in the cluster web server. The proposed technique is based on the hash histogram transformation, in which each URL entry of the web log file is hashed, and the access frequency and file size are accumulated as a histogram. Each user request is assigned into a node by mapping of (hashed value-server node) in the histogram transformation. In the proposed technique, the histogram is updated periodically and then the even distribution of user requests can be maintained continuously. In addition to the load balancing, our technique can exploit the cache effect to improve the performance. The simulation results show that the performance of our technique is quite better than that of the traditional round-robin method and we can improve the performance more than
compared with the existing workload-aware load balancing(WARD) method.
A Design and Implementation of Tetris Came System according to Score Calculation Method per Level

At th first time in 1985, Tetris appeared, it became game that are loved to many users until now. Existent Tetris employed way to give score according to number of that is destroyed whenever line are destroyed, and give advantage about serial attack and so on, But, these score calculation method gave so fixed and simple pattern. In this paper, We design and implement the new tetris game System by score calculation method per level that Is different with existent method. That Is, this method is to compare present and before with number of destroyed line and give advantage in basis score, Also, It is going to permit strategic utilization of still more developed tetris than existent tetris using score calculation method per level.
An Implementation of XML document searching system based on Structure and Semantics Similarity

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is an Internet standard that is used to express and convert data, In order to find the necessary information out of XML documents, you need a search system for XML documents, In this research, we have developed a search system that can find documents that matches the structure and content of a given XML document, making the best use of XML structure, Search metrics take account of the similarity in tag names, tag values, and the structure of tags, After a search, the system displays the ranked results in the order of aggregate similarity, Three methods of query are provided: keyword search which is conventional; search with tag names and their values; and search with XML documents, These three methods enable users to choose the method that best suits their preference, resulting in the increase of the usefulness of the system.
A Syntax-Directed XML Document Editor using Abstract Syntax Tree

The current text based XML document systems are editing text and don't perform syntax check. As a result, the validity of an edited XML document can't be decided it is well-formed or valid until it is parsed. This paper describes a design and implementation of the syntax-directed editing system for XML documents. Because this is tree-based system, it is easy to extend XML document. And this system is designed to validate XML documents in real-time, It is expected that this paper contributes XML related application developments.
Comparative Analysis of Web-based Service Quality Of Leading Companies in Korea, U.S,, Japan and China

This research is in the same line of the research that was carried out in 1999 and 2001, Studies in 1999 and 2001 showed that there are significant differences in the usage levels of Internet in business between countries with longer history of using internet and those with shorter history. The 1999 and 2001 studies also suggested the model on development stages of Internet usage in business, This study is the continuation of the 1999 and 2001 research and used the previous data to compare and analyze the trend of the Internet development stages in leading 100 corporations in Korea, U,S.A., China and Japan in 2002. This study found that there have been significant developments in the ability to use Internet in business in three countries. The differences in Internet usage level in each stage among different countries are compared and analyzed in this study.
A fragment-Driven Workflow Modeling Methodology

Many organizations have been recognizing the necessity of workflow automation technologies according to the rapid expansion of business process oriented applications, such as enterprise resource pianning, customer relationship management, electronic approval management, and so on, Thus, they have started adopting workflow management systems as an essential technological solution for their workflow processes, However, we need some technological extensions and improvements on them in order to accommodate a new type of workflow processes, which is called cross-organizational global workflow processes that require a certain level of collaborations between the organizations engaged in the global workflow processes, Fragment-driven workflow modeling methodology is a Bottom-Up methodology composing a global workflow by defining each organization's own activities, which is called a fragment through a realtime cooperative system. The approach is able to not only simplify the modeling work but also keep each organization's independence in modeling a global workflow, In this paper, we describe the fragment-driven workflow modeling methodology and realize the methodology through the implementation of a cooperative swimlane workflow modeling system.
Design and implementation of integrated e-catalog system based on web services

We proposed electronic catalog document structure which can process information of goods configurationally and electronic catalog standard format to support various catalog document format and structure. using XML. We designed and implemented electronic catalog system that can use by user who takes part in the transaction the electronic catalog document defined in electronic commerce integration style. This system was advantageous in getting useful information as it was having a common electronic catalog document for all business transactions using interoperability of the Web Services.
