Chiron-2 Architecture Based Score Processing System for Web-Based Education

Web-Based instruction system implemented according to CGI based process-oriented. But, in case of system development, theses method is able to take inefficiency with duplication of program code. Also, ofter the development, it takes difficult on the operation and management. In this research, I implement Web-based score processing system by component composition. Applied component model is Java Beans and composition method is to use Chiron-2 architecture. By this method, this research shows the high efficiency - not only structural advance but also low value of cyclomatic complex that measure a maintenance.
Architectural Approach Identification and Evaluation of Message System Using Design Pattern

To design a software system in success, architectural approaches which are in basis of architectural design, must be primarily selected. What to chose among various architecture styles as specific as architectural approaches, varies along with the system status of what kind of functional or non-functional quality requirements should satisfy. In this study, we propose the evaluation model for making a selection of architectural approaches, and select an architectural approach for message system actively using in diversified internet utilization and enterprise application integration, In other words, if there may be possibly existed several architectural approaches, we present the most suitable method of architectural approach out of them through an evaluation of analyzing the system requirements satisfaction level. In addition, when it performs specific design and implementation utilizing design patterns based on thread, developers would be able to link up the architecture design directly.
Variability Support in Component-based Product Lines using Component Code Generation

Software product-lines is the software development paradigm to attain the rapid development of quality applications by customizing the reconfigurable components and composing them based on predefined software architectures. Recently various methodologies for the component-based product lines are proposed, but these don't provide the specific implementation techniques of the components in terms of variability resolution mechanism. In other hand, the several approaches to implement the component supporting the variabilities resolution are developed, but these don't define the systematic analysis and design method considering the variabilities from the initial phase. This paper proposes the integration of PLUS, the one of product line methodologies extending UML modeling, and component code generation technique in order to increase the efficiency of producing the specific product in the software product lines. In this paper, the component has the hierarchical architecture consisting of the implementation elements, and each implementation elements are implemented as XSLT scripts. The codes of the components are generated from the feature selection. Using the microwave oven product lines as case study, the development process for the reconfigurable components supporting the automatic variability resolution is described.
A Study on the Reliability Quality Testing Model of Game Software

Computer are being used in an increasingly wide variety of application areas, and their correct operation is often critical for business success and humasn safety. Developing high quality software products is therefore of prime important. The recent game software become popular, so we are interest in the game software testing. According to the kinds of game software, because it has the different characters, so game software testing is very difficult. According to enviroment change, Recently, online game is popular, so online game trade in the world market. In the company, developers try to develop the reliable game software. But we can experience many fault of game software in spite of the beta testing. Especially, Testing is very difficult on the game software because of various environment and functionality. We tried the survey for game user. In this paper, we study the quality testing metric of game software fault basis on the ISO/IEC 9126. Also, we consist of the check list of game software a point of view user. It apply for the reliability testing metrics of ISO/IEC 9126.
A Design of a Flash Memory Swapping File System using LFM

There are two major type of flash memory products, namely, NAND-type and NOR-type flash memory. NOR-type flash memory is generally deployed as ROM BIOS code storage because if offers Byte I/O and fast read operation. However, NOR-type flash memory is more expensive than NAND-type flash memory in terms of the cost per byte ratio, and hence NAND type flash memory is more widely used as large data storage such as embedded Linux file systems. In this paper, we designed an efficient flash memory file system based an Embedded system and presented to make up for reduced to Swapping a weak System Performance to flash file system using NAND-type flash memory, then proposed Swapping algorithm insured to an Execution time. Based on Implementation and simulation studies, Then, We improved performance bases on NAND-type flash memory to the requirement of the embedded system.
XML View Indexing Using an RDBMS based XML Storage System

Caching query results and reusing them in processing of subsequent queries is an important query optimization technique. Materialized view and view indexing are the representative examples of such a technique. The two schemes had received much attention for relational databases, and have been investigated for XML data since XML emerged as the standard for data exchange on the Web. In XML view indexing, XML view xv which is the result of an XML query is represented as an XML view index(XVI), a structure containing the identifiers of xv's underlying XML elements as well as the information on xv. Since XVI for xv stores just the identifiers of the XML elements not the elements themselves, when xv is requested, its XVI should be materialized against xv's underlying XML documents. In this paper, we address the problem of integrating an XML view index management system with an RDBMS based XML storage system. The proposed system was implemented in Java on Windows 2000 Server with each of two different commercial RDBMSs, and used in evaluating performance improvement through XML view indexing as well as its overheads. The experimental results revealed that XML view indexing was very effective with an RDBMS based XML storage system while its overhead was negligible.
Grid Accounting Information System with Access Control

Grid computing enables a shift from a localized resource computing model to a fully-distributed virtual organization with shared resources, Accounting is one of the main obstacles to widespread adoption of the Grid. Accounting has until recently, been a sparsely-addressed problem, particularly in practice. In this paper, we design and implement the accounting information gathering system. Accounting information gathered at each local system does not include grid-aware information. To be useful in grid environment, grid user information must be included in accounting information. To make it useful in grid environment, we add grid user information with PGAM. Implemented system is based on OGSA, following GSAX framework of RUS-WG in GGF. And the schema of accounting information is following usage Record Fields of UR-WG in GGF. Also, the accounting information integrating and monitoring tool for system management in the Grid environment are implemented.
A Study on Extraction of Pitch and TSIUVC in Continuous Speech

In this paper, I propose a new extraction method Pitch Pulse and TSIUVC in continuous speech, The TSIUVC searching and extraction method is based on a zero-crossing rate and individual Pitch Pulse extraction method using FIR-STREAK filter. As a result, the extraction rate of individual pitch pulses was

A Study on Face Component Extraction for Automatic Generation of Personal Avatar

In Recent times, Netizens have frequently use virtual character 'Avatar' schemes in order to present their own identity, there is a strong need for avatars to resemble the user. This paper proposes an extraction technique for facial region and features that are used in generating the avatar automatically. For extraction of facial feature component, the method uses ACM and edge information. Also, in the extraction process of facial region, the proposed method reduces the effect of lights and poor image quality on low resolution pictures. this is achieved by using the variation of facial area size which is employed for external energy of ACM. An Efficient Motion Vector Estimation For Improving Picture Quality Of Frame Skipping Based Video Transcoding

In this paper, we propose a new trnascoding method for improving picture's visual quality when frames are skipped. the proposed method utilizes the relationships of motion vectors between successive frames, and 4 motion vectors a macroblock are considered in transcoding. Since the proposed method does not require any decoding process of encoded bit stream, the computational complexity for estimating motion vectors can be eliminated. Experimental results illustrated that as transcoded frames are getting far from I pictures and as the degree of motions in video sequences are getting higher, the picture quality by using our proposed method shows better performances than existing schemes.
Multicast Schemes for DMSP Handoff in Mobile IP Networks

The packet loss problem that occurs in the mobile multicast (MoM) protocol due to designated multicast service provider(DMSP) handoff is investigated through simulation experiments for several DMSP selection policies. Then, two enhanced DMSP schemes are proposed to minimize the packet loss of the MoM protocol with single DMSP. The first scheme uses a backup DMSP and greatly reduces the packet loss rate at the expense of the increased network traffic. The second scheme utilizes the extended DMSP operation and shows many desirable features such as the almost zero packet loss rate and relatively low network traffic.
A EJB Component-based WAP Application Generator

Mobile e-business is in wide use with the rapid growth of wireless internet users. To meet the growing requests for mobile e-business the productivity of mobile applications has been demanded. The WAPSiteGen, introduced in this paper, automatically generates a 3-tier WAP application that needs a new application database or that already has an application database to increase the productivity. The WAPSiteGen generates the EJB components that handle business logic and the JSP Web components that process user-made queries and the WAP Push feature. For a presentation layer, it also generates the HTML forms for an application manager and the WML decks for end users, which consists of many cards. The WAPSiteGen enhances extendibility, reusability and portability of generated 3-tier applications by comprising such component technologies as EJB and JSP. Furthermore, it supports the WAP Push services for generated applications that provide necessary information to wherever and at whenever a user wants. Since the applications generated by the WAPSiteGen provide the information on an interested entity as well as the information on all the directly or indirectly related entities to the interested one, it shows faster information accessibility. In this paper, we explain the functionality and implementation of the WAPSiteGen and then show its merits by comparing the WAPSiteGen to commercial WAP application generators.
Performance Analysis of Multibuffered Multistage Interconnection Networks using Small Clock Cycle Scheme

Ding and Bhuyan, however, has shown that the performance of multistage interconnection networks(MIN's) can be significantly improved if the packet movements are confined within each pair of adjacent stages using small clock cycles. In this paper, an effective model for estimating the performance of multibuffered MIN's employing the approach is proposed. the relative effectiveness of the proposed model is identified compared to the traditional design.
