On the Application Plan Study of International Standard Tendency in Software Quality Testing

We are studying international standard about the software quality evaluation. The software quality has been more important on users and developers. In this paper, first, we study international tendency of the inside and outside of the country in software quality evaluation for evaluating the software quality objectively and quantitatively, Second, we notify a new direction for software quality standard of inside and outside of country. Third, we study on the testing method of software reliability for making use of the software reliability growth model. Fourth, we spread method about standard of the software quality evaluation, fifth, we research into the international standard ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 25000 series for evaluation of software quality testing, and we propose to the application plan of software quality testing.
Code Generation System for Component-based Real-time Embedded Software Product Lines

Software product-lines methodology is the software development paradigm to build the target system by customizing the variable part of software assets according to requirements. To attain this, the commonalities and variabilities of the system family should be modeled explicitly at early stage. Although the researches on general software product-lines are active, the researches on component-based real-time embedded software product-lines are rather inactive. In this paper a code generation system to support the functional variabilities via feature model and generate the code for synchronization via state model is proposed to increase the productivity of the development of the real-time embedded software product-lines.
An Efficient Index Scheme of XML Documents Using Node Range and Pre-Order List

In this paper, we propose indexing method to manage large amount of XML documents efficiently, using the range of node and Pre-Oder List. The most of XML indexing methods are based on path or numbering method. However, the method of path-based indexing method shows disadvantages of performance degradation for join operations of ancestor-descendent relationships, and searching for middle and lower nodes. The method of numbers-scheme based indexing has to number all nodes of XML documents, since search overhead increased and the disk space for indexes was wasted. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel indexing method using node ranges and Preorder-Lists to overcome these problems. The proposed method more efficiently stores similar structured XML documents. In addition, our method supports flexible insertion and deletion of XML documents.
Extracting Blood Vessels through Similarity Analysis and Intensity Correction

This paper proposes a method to extract coronary arteries effectively in the angiography, In general. DSA(Digital Subtraction Angiography) is a well-established technique for the visualization of coronary arteries, DSA involves the subtraction of a mask image, an image of a heart before the injection of contrast medium, from a live image, However, this technique is sensitive to the movement of background and can cause wrong detection due to the variance of background intensity between two images. Therefore, this paper solves the structural problem resulted from background movement by selecting an image which has the least difference of movement through the similarity analysis of background texture, and it extracts only the blood vessels effectively through local intensity correction of the selected images, Experimental results show that the proposed method has the lower false-detection rate and higher accuracy rate than existing methods.
A Moving Synchronization Technique for Virtual Target Overlay

This paper proposes a virtual target overlay technique for a realistic training simulation which projects a virtual target on ground-based CCD images according to an appointed scenario. This method creates a realistic 3D model for instructors by using high resolution GeoTIFF (Geographic Tag Image File Format) satellite images and DTED(Digital Terrain Elevation Data), and it extracts road areas from the given CCD images for both instructors and trainees, Since there is much difference in observation position, resolution, and scale between satellite Images and ground-based sensor images, feature-based matching faces difficulty, Hence, we propose a moving synchronization technique that projects the targets on sensor images according to the moving paths marked on 3D satellite images. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm with satellite and sensor images of Daejoen.
A Study on Multi-Pulse Speech Coding Method by using Selected Information in a Frequency Domain

In this paper, I propose a new method of Multi-Pulse Speech Coding(FBD-MPC: Frequency Band Division MPC) by using TSIUVC(Transition Segment Including UnVoiced Consonant) searching, extraction and approximation-synthesis method in a frequency domain. As, a result. the extraction rates of TSIUVC are 84.8%(plosive), 94.9%(fricative) and 92.3%(affricative) in female voice, 88%(plosive), 94.9%(fricative) and 92.3%(affricative) in male voice respectively. Also, I obtain a high quality approximation-synthesis waveforms within TSIUVC by using frequency information of 0.547kHz below and 2.813kHz above. I evaluate MPC by using switching information of voiced/unvoiced and FBD-MPC by using switching information of voiced/Silence/TSIUVC. As, a result, I knew that synthesis speech of FBD-MPC was better in speech quality than synthesis speech of the MPC.
Study on the Improvement of Extraction Performance for Domain Knowledge based Wrapper Generation

Wrappers play an important role in extracting specified information from various sources. Wrapper rules by which information is extracted are often created from the domain-specific knowledge. Domain-specific knowledge helps recognizing the meaning the text representing various entities and values and detecting their formats However, such domain knowledge becomes powerless when value-representing data are not labeled with appropriate textual descriptions or there is nothing but a hyper link when certain text labels or values are expected. In order to alleviate these problems, we propose a probabilistic method for recognizing the entity type, i.e. generating wrapper rules, when there is no label associated with value-representing text. In addition, we have devised a method for using the information reachable by following hyperlinks when textual data are not immediately available on the target web page. Our experimental work shows that the proposed methods help increasing precision of the resulting wrapper, particularly extracting the title information, the most important entity on a web page. The proposed methods can be useful in making a more efficient and correct information extraction system for various sources of information without user intervention.
Optimistic Concurrency Control Using Time-stamp Ordering in Mobile Databases

Data broadcasting is an efficient method for disseminating data, and is widely accepted in the database applications of mobile computing environments because of its asymmetric communication bandwidth between a server and mobile clients. This requires new types of concurrency control mechanism to support mobile transactions executed in the mobile clients, which have low-bandwidths toward the server. In this paper, we propose an OCC/DTA (Optimistic Concurrency Control with Dynamic Time-stamp Adjustment) protocol that can be efficiently adapted to mobile computing environments. The protocol reduces communication overhead by using client-side validation procedure and enhances transaction throughput by adjusting serialization order without violating transaction semantics. We show that the proposed protocol satisfies data consistency requirements, and simulate that this protocol can improve the performance of mobile transactions in data broadcasting environments.
A Parsing Algorithm for Constructing Incremental Threaded Tree

The incremental parsing technique plays an important role in language-based environment which allows the incremental construction of a program. It improves the performance of a system by reanalyzing only the changed part of a program. The conventional incremental parsing uses the stack data structure in order to store the parsing information. In this paper, we suggest a threaded tree construction algorithm which parse by adding the threaded node address instead of using a stack data structure. We also suggest an incremental threaded tree construction which has incremental parsing process of five steps using the constructed threaded tree.
An Efficient Index Structure for Bottom-Up Query Processing of XML Documents

A path query is used in XML. Several index structures have been studied for processing the path query efficiently. In recent. the index schemes using suffix tree with structure join method were proposed. ViST is the most representative method among such methods. ViST processes the query using suffix tree and uses B+-tree to reduce the search time of the documents. However, it significantly degrades the search performance when processing the path query. The reason is that it regards the element that is not ancestor-descendant relation in the document as a descendent. In this paper, we propose an efficient index structure to solve the problem of ViST. The query processing method suitable to the index structure is also proposed. It is shown through various experiments that the proposed index structure outperforms the existing index structure in terms of the query processing time.
Analysis on the Operation Status of National Education Information System

The purpose of this paper is to suggest the improving plans about the system as searching an effective managing devices for NEIS with analysis of managing condition. For the plans, questionnaire was performed in the five sections to primary and secondary school teachers. Those were recognition about C/S, Introduction and conductive processing of NEIS, Satisfaction of specific task on school affairs and educational matters, its function, efficiency and security as well as technical problem. Those were recognition about C/S, Introduction and conductive processing of NEIS, Satisfaction of specific task on school affairs and educational matters, its function, efficiency and security as well as technical problem. The results are following: First. in spite of satisfaction with function of C/S, it have been some problems such as frequent patch and down of server. Secondly, although the introduction of NEIS was done in hurry without gathering teachers' opinions and sufficient research of system, it has been expected to settle down normally with correction and security. Thirdly, positive reaction was generally showed in research on satisfaction of specific task for school affairs and educational matters. Fourthly, most of teachers have known the functions of NEIS and recognized its convenience. Although they has not thought it reduced their work, they have realized it's convenient for dealing with statistics. Lastly, they think of NEIS as the essential system for the age of information, in spite of problems such as reveal of personal data and security. Therefore, we should keep eyes to problem of an invasion of human right. In addition, study deep into NEIS should be conducted with consistent security for the system. In order to it. technical and legal system should be carried out side by side.
