Performance Analysis of Cost-Effective Location and Service Management Schemes in LTE Networks

In this paper, we propose a cost-effective location and service management scheme in LTE (Long Term Evolution) networks, which a per-user service proxy is created to serve as a gateway between the mobile user and all client-server applications engaged by the mobile user. The service proxy is always co-located with the mobile user's location database such that whenever the MU's location database moves during a location hand-off, a service hand-off also ensues to co-locate the service proxy with the location database. This allows the proxy to know the location of the mobile user all the time to reduce the network communication cost for service delivery. We analyze four integrated location and service management schemes. Our results show that the centralized scheme performs the best when the mobile user's SMR (service to mobility ratio) is low and
(session to mobility ratio) is high, while the fully distributed scheme performs the best when both SMR and
are high. In all other conditions, the dynamic anchor scheme is the best except when the service context transfer cost is high under which the static anchor scheme performs the best. Through analytical results, we demonstrate that different users with vastly different mobility and service patterns should adopt different integrated location and service management methods to optimize system performance.
A New LED Light Device Lighting Control Algorithm for Optimal Energy Saving

In this paper, we were proposed a new LED light device lighting control algorithm for optimal energy saving. The propose lighting control algorithm be to the LED lights devices lighting control by measuring illuminance into multi sensors. And it be to lighting control by inverting of octagon pattern during set-up time. All the LED is lighting when detecting motion by the motion sensor. And, it was designed enable remote management control by communicate with central monitoring center using Zigbee wireless network to measured data from sensors at real time. In this paper, a proposed lighting control algorithm was measured power consumption about the lighting status of LED lighting device using the lighting control program for demonstrate of energy savings effect. The measured result, the lighting method applying proposed algorithm were proved energy savings effect of more 40% more compared to the existing lighting method.
A Development of M-Learning Contents for Improving the Learning Ability of Military Education

In this paper, we proposed a development of M-learning smart-trainer content for improving the learning ability of military education. Learners of time and space constraints beyond quickly and accurately can learn with the goal, each subject by partial learning, and repetition, the whole learning quickly and easily by selecting efficiently to help you learn a m-Bizmaker with applications was designed. Experiment targets the military company of two, first aid courses were conducted for the evaluation. Traditional collective comparison group teaching methods, the proposed content, teaching methods applied in the experimental group were selected. The proposed learning applications using smart instructor for verification of learning, with which to compare, test subjects were compared with each of 49 subjects, the results p<.005 level, there was difference among the two groups. Therefore, the proposed application using a smart trainer after class proved that contribute to improving achievement.
A Component-Based Framework for Structural Embedding of Mobile Agent System

Rapid evolution of wired and wireless technologies results in various types of embedded systems, and the software to be embedded into those devices now needs the flexibility rather than the fixedness which was well-known property for the embedded software in the past. Mobile agent is one of the useful distributed technologies of reducing network load and latency because of its disconnected operations and high asynchrony. In this paper, a component-based mobile agent framework, called EmHUMAN, is designed and implemented for structural embedding into the devices showing different functions and resource constraints. It consists of 3 layers of components. Based on those components, a structural embedding, considering resource constraints of required functions, amount of storage space, computing power, network bandwidth,
etc can be performed. The components in each layer can be extended with addition of new components, removing some components and modifying components. EmHUMAN plays the role of a framework for developing mobile agent based distributed systems. It is also a mobile agent system by itself. EmHUMAN provides several utilities as built-in API's, and thus high effectiveness in programming mobile agents can be achieved.

In As the proliferation of wireless LAN and smart devices like smart phone, the importance of the wireless Internet local broadcasting service is increasing. In order to provide broadcasting data for the multiple devices, one-way roadcasting technology which could not support re-transmission, should be used and the receiving frame error is major problem. Furthermore unlicense devices cause interference to the receiver, burst frame error tends to be happened. In this paper, new method to overcome the burst and random frame error is proposed and the effect is analyzed.

A study on e-book viewer terminal in the native language of the platform-dependent studies are based, This is inefficient in memory usage and screen rendering speed, and there are frequent system updates, e-book viewer, the nature of mobile terminal platform application compatibility issues may occur. In this paper, using the mobile app framework in order to design e-book e-book viewer, analyzed the structure of ePub file parser and file more structured modules were designed and MVC. Designed and implemented to test the functionality of the memory information that is currently running to provide the ability to show the relationship of DDMS and layout components were used to show Hierarchy Viewer. As a result, rendering the screen 150%, 84% in the heap memory usage, improved performance was confirmed.
Electronic Stethoscope using PVDF Sensor for Wireless Transmission of Heart and Lung Sounds

Effective use of stethoscope is very important for primary clinical diagnosis for the increasing cardiovascular and respiratory disease. This study developed the contact vibration sensor using piezopolymer film which minimizes the ambient noise, and signal processing algorithm was applied for providing better auscultation sounds compare to the existing electronic stethoscopes. Especially, low frequency heart sounds were acquired without distortion, and the quality of lung sounds were improved. Also, auscultating sounds could be transmitted using bluetooth, which made possible to be used for the u-healthcare environment. Results of this study, auscultation of heart and lung sounds, could be applied to the convergence industry of medical and information communication technology through remote diagnosis.

Wrist wearable device for the measurement of pulse rate, ECG, and activity during normal daily life, which could be used for the continuous monitoring and remote transmission of acquired data, was developed. Pressure sensor, device attached electrodes, and 3-degree accelerometer were used. Analysis algorithm and firmware program were established for providing diagnostic information for the users. Results of this study, possible for the management of health report and transmission of the results through bluetooth by wearing simple personal wrist device, could be used for the development of portable device in the u-healthcare environment.

In this paper, we design and implementation of effective integrated broadcast contents transmission System based on single server system. Because of previous broadcast contents transmission system is consist of various individual functional equipment. And it is not easy to use and not effective to manage for broadcast contents transmission. In this paper, we evaluated and analysed of developed system in the test environment. As a result of performance test, It showed that it was well performed without any data error in the performance test, and It showed that it was well managed, controled, scheduled, processed of the integrated broadcast contents transmission environment.
Design of Security-Enhanced RFID Authentication Protocol Based on AES Cipher Algorithm

This paper proposes the design of a security-enhanced RFID authentication protocol which meets the privacy protection for tag bearers. The protocol which uses AES(Advanced Encryption Standard) cipher algorithm is based on a three-way challenge response authentication scheme. In addition, three different types of protocol packet formats are also presented by extending the ISO/IEC 18000-3 standard for realizing the security-enhanced authentication mechanism in RFID system environment. Through the comparison of security, it was shown that the proposed scheme has better performance in user data confidentiality, Man-in-the-middle replay attack, and replay attack, and forgery resistance, compared with conventional some protocols. In order to validate the proposed protocol, a digital Codec of RFID tag is also designed based on the protocol. This Codec has been described in Verilog HDL and also synthesized using Xilinx Virtex XCV400E device.
Security Improvements on Smart-Card Based Mutual Authentication Scheme

Password-based authentication schemes have been widely adopted in order to protect resources from unauthorized access. In 2008, Liu et al. proposed a new mutual authentication scheme using smart cards which can withstand the forged attack. In this paper, author has proven that Liu et al.'s scheme is still vulnerable to the various attacks by analyzing the security of their scheme. This paper introduces an enhanced scheme to overcome these security weakness and to provide mutual authentication between the user and the server, even if the secrete information stored in the smart card is revealed by an attacker. The comparative result from the security analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme is more secure against the possible attacks than Liu et al.'s scheme.
Watermarking and QR Code in Digital Image Coding

Watermarking is one of the methods that insist on a copyright as it append digital signals in digital informations like still image, video, ets. This paper proposed a novel digital watermarking scheme which combines a QR code and a watermarking method using DCT coefficient. It proposed an algorithm for selecting a QR code from a image and to be converted into a watermark. It processed a watermarking process using expanded watermarking method in DCT area. This simulation results showed that the PSNR difference between the proposed scheme and the original image was 33.98dB and the normalized correlation between the proposed scheme and the original image was above 99.51. The proposed method is reusable.
Design and Implementation of Serious Game based on AVR Microcontrollerin Virtual Serial Ports

This paper proposed a method which enabled the designing and implementation of a serious game based on AVR microcontroller on a virtual serial port before making the actual circuit by performing simulation, and which made it possible to develop a serious game. The implemented serious game implemented a mole game which can be enjoyed by one person, a love game with which a male gamer and a female gamer can play, and a marathon game in which a gamer can run the marathon while listening to cheerful music and looking at a region he/she wants to visit. The development of a microcontroller device that provides those functions showed that not only does the device make it possible to develop games more easily and conveniently through the implementation of a game using virtual serial communications with a board designed by an ISIS simulator, but also it reduces trials and errors during game development.
A multi-hop Communication Scheme in Vehicular Communication Systems

Vehicular communication is one of main convergence technologies which combines information and communication technology (ICT) with vehicle and road industries. In general, vehicular communication adopts IEEE 802.11p standard which is commonly referred as wireless access in vehicular environments (WAVE). In this paper, we investigate a multi-hop communication scheme for IEEE 802.11p based communication systems which support both vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. First, we briefly overview the performance of IEEE 802.11p based communication systems. Then, a multi-hop communication scheme is introduced for both broadcast and unicast. The performance of proposed scheme is presented via experimental measurements.

Recently, there has been a fast paradigm shift in the automotive market from the traditional machine-oriented technology into the technology for vehicle informatics and electronics. In particular, telematics market is accelerating the development of technologies for vehicle informatics through the close cooperation between the vehicle makers and mobile communication companies. However, there may be the degradation of the quality of service by the interference since the telematics uses the wireless communication infrastructure for the base station-to-vehicle communication and the vehicle-to-vehicle communication. This paper presents an analysis device to easily analyze the interference by the wireless communication in the vehicle wireless network environment. Using the analysis results by the presented device, this paper shows that the link quality can be improved through the simulation and the experiment in real environment both.
Propagation Environment Analysis and Wireless Mesh Network Implementation for monitoring the Four Rivers (based on Hapcheon weir)

Four river project in the South Korea contributes to solve flood damages and water shortages. Also, it has purpose for creating water ecosystem and improving the level of people' cultural leisure and quality of life through inducing water quality improvement and river restoration. It is necessary to monitor a variety of observing data in river areas among dozens to hundreds of kilometer for safe river administration. The 20th construction area of the four river project is located on Hapcheon areas, where wireless mesh network was installed to manage the basin. In the process of network construction, the characteristic of surrounding areas is considered about embodying secure service by investing the least expense. Besides, transmission environment analysis is performed such as LOS tests and reception level analysis, and transmission speed measurement to create safe service. Reception level in all places is confirmed among -55 dBm ~ -70 dBm, and data transmission speed proves more than 20 Mbps.
People Re-identification: A Multidisciplinary Challenge

The wide diffusion of internet and the overall increased reliance on technology for information communication, dissemination and gathering have created an unparalleled mass of data. Sifting through this data is defining and will define in the foreseeable future a big part of contemporary computer science. Within this data, a growing proportion is given by personal information, which represents a unique opportunity to study human activities extensively and live. One important recurring challenge in many disciplines is the problem of people re-identification. In its broadest definition, re-identification is the problem of newly recognizing previously identified people, such as following an unknown person while he walks through many different surveillance cameras in different locations. Our goals is to review how several diverse disciplines define and meet this challenge, from person re-identification in video-surveillance to authorship attribution in text samples to distinguishing users based on their preferences of pictures. We further envision a situation where multidisciplinary solutions might be beneficial.

This paper introduces development of multi-rotor system and vision based autonomous landing system. Multi-rotor platform is modeled by rigid body motion with Newton Euler concept. Also Multi-rotor platform is simulated and tuned by LQR control algorithm. Vision based Autonomous Landing system uses a single camera that is mounted Multi-rotor system. Augmented reality algorithm is used as marker detection algorithm and autonomous landing code is test with GCS for the precision landing.

An Estimating for Practical Software Development Duration

The compression of software development schedule has a limit without regarding to a development manpower. However, the actually developed softwares includes the impossible short time or unreal long time date. Previously suggested models are driving the development schedule from all of the actually developed software without considering these constraints. This paper recommends a standard of minimum and the most suitable development time period. This paper has chosen a criterion that shows the best development schedule among 5 criteria based on the actually performed projects. Moreover, this paper suggests a model that estimates the development schedule based on the best criterion.
Generalized Borůvka's Minimum Spanning Tree Algorithm

Given a connected, weighted, and undirected graph, the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) should have minimum sum of weights, connected all vertices, and without any cycle taking place. Borůvka Algorithm is firstly suggested as an algorithm to evaluate the MST, but it is not widely used rather than Prim and Kruskal algorithms. Borůvka algorithm selects the Minimum Weight Edge (MWE) from each vertex with distinct weights in
stage, and selects the MWE from each MSF (Minimum Spanning Forest) in
stage. But the cycle check and the number of MSF in
stage are difficult to implication by computer program even if it is easy to verify visually. This paper suggests the generalized Borůvka Algorithm, This algorithm selects all of the same MWEs for each vertex, then checks the cycle and constructs MSF for ascending sorted MWEs. Kruskal method bring into this process. if the number of MSF greats then 1, this algorithm selects MWE from ascending sorted inter-MSF edges. The generalized Borůvka algorithm is verified its application by being applied to the 7 graphs with the many minimum weights or distinct weight edges for any vertex. As a result, the generalized Borůvka algorithm is less required for cycle verification then the Kruskal algorithm. Therefore, the generalized Borůvka algorithm is more fast to obtain MST then Kruskal algorithm.
Performance Analysis of Multicore Processor Architectures Based On Cache Size Effects

In order to overcome the complexity and performance limit problems of superscalar processors, the multicore architecture has been prevalent recently. The configuration and the size of instruction and data caches greatly gives effect on the performance of multicore processors. Using SPEC 2000 benchmarks as input, the trace-driven simulation has been performed for the 2-core to 16-core architectures with different sizes of caches extensively. As a result, the 2-way set associative instruction and data cache with the size of 64KB brought the best cost-effective performance.

In satellite communication system, propagation characteristics analysis of the receiving environment is very important, because radio quality is changed by the receiving environment. Unlike Terrestrial wireless communications, satellite communication is affected by altitude and atmospheric environment. Therefore, there are many factors to consider for propagation characteristics analysis. In this paper, signal reception environment of geostationary earth orbit was analyzed on urban environment. In order to analyze the propagation simulation, virtual buildings was established and reception environment was changed. The results of this paper would help to design the satellite mobile communication systems in Ka-band.
Optimal Path Search Algorithm for Urban Applying Received Signal Strength on Satellite Communication Environment

In this paper, we propose an optimal path search algorithm that applies the received signal strength between a mobile device and a satellite. Because the common path search algorithm is only based on the shortest path search, it is difficult to provide stable multimedia services for the satellite mobile devices. The proposed algorithm provides the stable communication environment for the satellite mobile devices based on received signal strength. In Satellite communications, changes in the radio quality are severe depending on the receiving environment. Therefore, an accurate analysis of the receiving environment characteristics is very important for providing stable multimedia services of satellite communications. The causes of radio attenuation are atmosphere attenuation, vegetation attenuation and buildings attenuation. These factors were applied to analyze the received signal strength. The proposed algorithm can search the optimal path in urban for stable satellite multimedia services.
Design and Implementation of Frontal-View Algorithm for Smartphone Gyroscopes

Attempt to use as a marker of natural objects directly in the real world, but there is a way to use the accelerometer of the smartphone, to convert the Frontal-View virtual, because it asks only the pitch of the camera, from the side there is a drawback that can not be converted to images. The proposed algorithm, to obtain the rotation matrix of axis 3 pitch, roll, yaw, we set the reference point of the yaw of the target image. Then, to compensate for the rotation matrix to determine Myon'inji any floor, wall, the ceiling of the target image. Finally, to obtain the homography matrix for obtaining the Frontal-View to account for the difference between the gyro sensor coordinate system and image coordinate system, so we can get the Frontal-View from the captured images through the projection transformation was designed. Was tested to convert Frontal-View the picture was taken in an environment smartphone environment surrounding floor, walls and ceiling in order to evaluate the conversion program Frontal-View has been implemented, in this paper, design and The conversion algorithm implementation, it was confirmed that to convert a regular basis Frontal-View footage taken from multiple angles.

With development of IT technology, B2C Social Commerce makes the change from closed type of transaction to the form of an open trading. Also by dramatically reducing the intermediate distribution and removing distribution costs, it provides goods at unbeatable prices to consumers. Depending on the flow of the times, the business-to-business struggles with the difficulty of PRM management and fast promotion of new products. Therefore, it is required B2B Social Commerce, new platform that can collect distribution and consumption firms in one place which is similar to B2C Social Commerce. Unlike the case of B2C social commerce, B2B Social Commerce should have an essential element, Installment payment system to pay over the period without purchase in accordance with the payment paid as a lump sum. B2B Social Commerce model which is introduced in this study will provide the solution of B2B transaction problems, opening up new markets and bring the expansion of the electronic market.
Effects of Packet-Scatter on TCP Performance in Fat-Tree

To address the bottleneck problem in data center networks, there have been several proposals for network architectures providing high path-diversity. In devising new schemes to utilize multiple paths, one must consider the effects on TCP performance because packet reordering can make TCP perform poorly. Therefore most schemes prevent packet reordering by sending packets through one of multiple available paths. In this study we show that packet reordering does not occur severely enough to have a significant impact on TCP performance when scattering packets through all available paths between a pair of hosts in Fat-Tree. Simulation results imply that it is possible to find a low-cost solution to the TCP performance problem for Fat-Tree-like topologies.

In a larger group, there are three major types of partnership such as "partnership that causes an increase in traffic","partnership through the sales within the application contents" and "partnership through advertisements". In order to find out whether teenagers and potential consumers in their twenties would prefer a "message-type advertising" or an "application-type advertising". Through experiment, we also figured out which type of advertising worked more effectively between the two given types.

The development of multimedia applications followed by development of high-speed networks has improved the performance of mobile devices with high transfer speed broadband. Mobile internet access has made possible seamless indoor and outdoor mobile multicast services. Multicasting services are used to support efficient group communications. However, mobile multicasting services have two constraints: tunnel convergence and handover latency. Many protocols and handover methods have been proposed to address these problems. The inter-LMA optimized handover model for multicasting services has previously been proposed for PMIPv6-based networks. The proposed model removes the tunnel convergence issue and reduces router processing costs. It also makes possible the performance of fast handover operations with adaptive transmission mechanisms. In addition, the proposed scheme exhibits low packet delivery costs and handover latency in comparison with existing schemes, and ensures fast handover when moving the inter-LMA domain

In the many countries, research about ultra wideband wireless transmission technique is widely studied for efficient utilization of frequency resource due to a sudden increase of demand of frequency resource all over the world. The ultra wideband communication system has the some specific advantages. First, it can transmit data with high speed, second short transmission range can increase the frequency reuse rate, and finally it has high security property. However, there is a interference between ultra wideband system and other communication system but study to solve this problem is insufficient. To efficient utilization of limited frequency resource, a novel frequency avoidance technique and setup the standardization of frequency interference must need. So, the purpose of this paper is that increases communication efficiency of microwave communication systems to analyze the technical trends for transmission of the low power device, and to research the implementation and technical research of wireless access network technique of wideband communication systems.

A Route Stability-based Direction Guided Routing Protocol in Mobile Ad-hoc Wireless Networks

In this paper, we propose a Route Stability-based Direction Guided Routing protocol(RSDGR) in mobile ad-hoc wireless networks. The main features and contributions of the proposed routing protocol are as follows. First, it can calculate link stability between two nodes as well as route stability of multi hop quantitatively by using nodes' mobility. And this protocol can establish the most stable path between a source node and a destination node. Second, according to the route stability between a source node and a destination node, it can control and optimize the direction guided region dynamically for route setup. Third, we suggest theoretical model for quantitative calculation of link stability between two nodes and route stability of multi hop path. The performance evaluation of the proposed routing protocol is performed by simulation using OPNET(Optimized Network Engineering Tool) and theoretical analysis. The results of performance evaluation show that the patterns of PDR are similar in simulation and analysis according to route stability. The faster mobile nodes' velocity and the smaller source node's direct guided reigion, the lower route stability and PDR and the higher delay and control overhead related to this.

CMOS standard process. The implemented touch screen is designed for using in the double layer ITO(Indium Thin Oxide) module with diamond pattern and single layer ITO module for cost-effective which are applied to mobile phone or smart remote controller.

In this paper, the farm information system was designed by ubiquitous computing. The irrigation system was set up for growing forest products. Also, the integrated sensing system with the radar sensors would be constructed for sensing the temperature, the humidity and the direction of the wind, ect. And the monitoring programs for workers in the fields were provided for the control and the monitoring the growing conditions of the forest products. Finally the database was constructed for the total monitoring and management system, so the data from sensor system was stored in the database sever for analysing growing environment.

Between the transmitter from the receiver depending on the number of relay in the underlay network, we compared to find the transmit power and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). Finally we find optimal number of relay and optimal threshold value.

RAN in mobile backhaul network connects base station to mobile backhaul network. This the interfaces for several generations mobile communication technologies, such as TDM, ATM, and Ethernet in cell site, and then Ethernet in mobile backhaul site. In near future, the mobile communication network will be changed to all IP/Ethernet one, and then ultimately Ethernet and TDM traffics will be transferred through IP network. So these technologies have to be encapsulated for transferring to the mobile backhaul network. The performances are measured for each encapsulation, such as ATM, MPLS, IP/UDP, and MEF8.
Development of energy expenditure measurement device based on voice and body activity

Energy expenditure values were estimated based on the voice signals and body activities. Voice signals and body activities were obtained using PVDF contact vibration sensor and 3-axis accelerometer, respectively. Vibration caused by voices, activity signals, and actual energy consumption were acquired using data acquisition system and gas analyzer. With the use of power values from the voice signals and weight as independent variables, R-square of 0.918 appeared to show the highest value. For activity outputs, use of signal vector magnitude, body mass index, height, and age as independent variables revealed to provide the highest correlation with actual energy expenditure. Estimation of energy expenditure based on voice and activity provides more accurate results than based on activity only.
