Mobile Content Curation Service Based on Real-Time Request/Response Model

This paper proposes a mobile content curation service to collect various online/offline publications. The company publishes one-time topic information to a broker server in advance and customer curates topic information on a mobile device by requesting it. The main characteristics of the proposed service are: it is based on request/response model rather than existing publish/subscribe model, can easily specify topic information by input string without QR code or audio recognition, and retrieves all of topic information anywhere anytime by storing it on mobile device. This service can be used for second screen campaign for TV and various online/offline events.

IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) CoAP (Constrained Application Protocol) protocol is supported communication between sensor or actuator nodes by in a constrained environment, such as small amount of memory, and low power. CoAP and HTTP protocol can convert easily, and can use to monitor or controll the infrastructure utility through low-power sensor and actuator networks in IoT (Internet of Thing) and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) environment. IETF CoRE(Constrained RESTful environments) Working Group proposed CoAP protocol in 2010, and began to standardize it. Recently, CoAP protocol is published RFC (Request for Comments) 7252. In this paper, we design and implement of CoAP protocol for testing the interoperability in heterogeneous operating environments. For this experiment, we developed the CoAP client program based on Windows environment and CoAP server program in Linux environment to test the interoperability.
Secret Sharing based on DCT using XOR

In general, if a secret of company is owned by a person, the secret is the most vulnerable to attack of hacking. Secret sharing is a solution to solve such a problem. To share the secret to many people not one, it is possible to restore secret when the secret is being stolen by someone. That is, secret sharing, a strong method, was proposed to keep secret information from the robbery. Until now, most secret sharing schemes were based on spatial domain. The hidden data based on spatial domain is easily deleted since a transformation of digital formats (i.e., jpeg to bmp or vise versa). In this paper, we proposed our scheme for complement to resist various attack of cover image as distributing secrets based on DCT of JPEG using exclusive-or operation. The result of experiments proved that the proposed scheme restore original secret.
National SFN Composition Method based on T-DMB considering Local Broadcasting Station

The broadcasting of the analog TV was terminated in 2012 and was converted into the broadcasting of the digital TV, so methods for arrival of DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) are planned recently. Thus, with digitization of analog broadcasting and appearance of new service, it takes effort to improve efficiency of broadcasting frequency. T-DMB which came in 2005 uses existing analog TV band and its channel is allocated inefficiently in order to avoid interference between mutual services. However, the foundation which can afresh reorganize T-DMB channel is building up because the broadcasting of the analog TV was terminated. So, this paper proposes the method for national SFN composition of T-DMB considering existing local broadcasting in order to provide better service to users as well as improve efficiency of broadcasting frequency.
Effective Compression Technique of Multi-view Image expressed by Layered Depth Image

Since multi-view video exists a number of camera color image and depth image, it has a huge of data. Thus, a new compression technique is indispensable for reducing this data. Recently, the effective compression encoding technique for multi-view video that used in layered depth image concepts is a remarkable. This method uses several view point of depth information and warping function, synthesizes multi-view color and depth image, becomes one data structure. In this paper we use actual distance for solving overlap in layered depth image that reduce required data for reconstructing in color-based transform. In experimental results, we confirmed high compression performance and good quality of reconstructed image.

IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem) base on the IP service platform which can offer multimedia as the voice, audio, video, and data is service platform. In 3G mobile communication in the early day, IMS had a suggestion for supporting to multimedia service in the 3GPP. But now It is broadly substituting in the IPTV, wire phone company and it is substituted in internet platform base on the soft-switch in currently. Especially nowadays, 4G LTE in a mobile communication company is rapidly growing in market. Therefore, in this study, we had designed to the main prosser that can admit to 1,000 user over and SIP gateway which can link the IMS 코어 that can link SIP Device which adopt the standard protocol on the SIP.
Performance Analysis of Interference-Mitigated Opportunistic Relay System

In this paper, we proposed a method using the user mobile device to overcome the interference constraint without building a cooperative communication system. In addition, in order to mitigate interference, we apply the user mobile device selection method, and then exploit power allocation scheme in the user mobile device. The proposed protocol is analyzed in the Rayleigh fading environment, and the performance system is evaluated in terms of the bit error rate and the outage probability. The simulation results showed that when the proposed transmission algorithm is applied, the interference can be mitigated. Further, network overload problems can be solved in the weak channel interference. Therefore, we can increase the network capacity without additional relay.
Development of Realtime Multimedia Streaming Service using Mobile Smart Devices

Thesedays, there are many smart device applications developed, especially on the using various sensors included in the smart device. Smart devices have several sensors which are camera, GPS, mike, and communication module for collecting ubiquitous environment, and many applications are developed by using such sensors. In this paper, we developed the multimedia stream architecture and examined the smart device applications based on open source with front and back-end server clouds for developing the conceptual architecture. Also, we examined the back-end distributed servers, realtime multimedia stream transferring, multi-media store, and media relay for other server and smart devices. We test the examined architecture on the real target environment to collect the SIP initial setup time, media stream delay, and end-to-end play time. The test results show that there have good network operation environment to provide realtime multimedia services, and we need to improve the end-to-end play time by minimizing the initial setup time.

Zeroboard is a public bulletin board that can support PHP and MySQL. It has been used by many people because it is easy to use, but there is no more updates after Zeroboard4. So, there is a problem that its administrator will have nothing to do about it if zeroboard has a vulnerability. In this paper, we will discuss about CSRF(Cross Site request Forgery) which is developed and expanded by XSS(Cross Site Scripting). Also, we will find CSRF attacks and suggest an alternative method using VM-ware. The main features and contributions of the proposed method are as follows. First, make an environment construction using VM-ware and other tools. Second, analyze and prepare vulnerabilities using Proxy server. Performance evaluation will be conducted by applying possible countermeasure.

Visible light communication is a communication method using an LED`s blinking(ON/OFF), it has a feature of light because of the limit of perception by the human`s optic nerve. LED` dimming control used in the VLC system is important factor needed to provide energy saving and life benefits. With advances in VLC system, MIMO technology has received much attention in that it can be obtain channel capacity proportionate to the number of antenna. Therefore, in this paper, with RC method which is one of the MIMO style in VLC system, it is compared communication performance using RZ-OOK, VPPM, MPPM and OPPM. As a result of the simulation was run against this, MPPM works well in terms of Power requirement and OPPM works well in terms of Spectral efficiency and Bandwidth requirement, also it was confirmed that there is a significant impact on the communication performance of each modulation scheme according to the dimming.
Performance Analysis of SMMA Adaptive Blind Equalization Algorithm with A Flag

In this paper, we propose a SMMA(Sliced-Multi Modulus Algorithm) adaptive blind equalization algorithm with Flag for high order QAM system. SMMA has improved characteristics by applying the multi contour to MMA. However, SMMA still has a limit that the mismatch problem causes the residual error in the steady state is large. In order to significantly reduce the residual error in the steady state, we propose SMMA, which is controlled by the binary Flag of `1 `or `0` obtained from SMMA and a decision-directed algorithm, and analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm. By computer simulation, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm has improved performance highly in terms of a residual ISI and a residual error in the steady state compared with MMA and SMMA.

Visible light communication is a converging communication by technologies that enable solutions using the LED Lighting. There is a need to research about it in order to improve the performance of the wireless communication by using a Color LED and improve the efficiency of data. In this paper, Assume the General indoor communication environment and LED communication systems based on CSK-OFDM applied to a MIMO communication system, We studied about transmitting method of more efficient communication. After performing the simulation based on IEEE 802.15.7 Standardization, as a result of the analysis of performance, it was confirmed the there is a significant impact on the performance of SNR and BER performance by the transmitting method based on MIMO and external noise using the LED communication system based on CSK-OFDM.
Implementation of Wireless Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System using ZigBee-based Persinal Area Network

We realized a wireless multiple integrated laser engagement system composed of personal area network using Zigbee. The wireless laser detector had function of analog signal processor, decoder and wireless communication. However, it should consume low power and be small and light in order to be attached to a soldier`s body. The decoder was realized in software to be small and light. We induced low power consumption as reducing the load of system using a narrow band optical filter. The fabricated wireless laser detector functioned well in optically noisy environment. Although the communication to the player unit through the wireless personal area network was dependent on the attachment place it was perfectly worked with transmission power of -40.2dBm or more.
Object Replication and Consistency Control Techniques of P2P Structures for Multiplayer Online Games

The main game architectures for multiplayer online games are the traditional client-server architectures, multi-server architectures and P2P(peer-to-peer) architectures. P2P architectures, due to their distributed and collaborative nature, have low infrastructure costs and can achieve high scalability as well as fast response time by creating direct connections between players. However, P2P architectures face many challenges. Distributing a game among peers makes maintaining control over the game more complex. These architectures also tend to be vulnerable to churn and cheating. Providing consistency control in P2P systems is also more difficult since conflicting updates might be executed at different sites resulting in inconsistency. In order to avoid or correct inconsistencies, most multiplayer games use a primary-copy replication approach where any update to the object has to be first performed on the primary copy. This paper presents the primary-copy model with the update dissemination mechanism that provides consistency control over an object in P2P architectures for multiplayer online games. The performance for this model is evaluated through simulation experiments and analysis.

The era came that by having fastest internet and smart phone makes cloud computing really a big merit. This paper proposes architecture for medical image volume rendering in mobile environment using cloud computing. This architecture to replace expensive workstation server and storage it use one of the service of cloud computing IaaS(Infrastructure as a Service). And this paper propose to use webGL to get rid of restriction of mobile hardware. By this research, it is expected that medical image volume rendering service in mobile environment is more effective and can be a foundation work.

This Study is Transfer function optimization plan of volume rendering of multi user environment. Each volume data, for appropriate transfer function, they should be adjusted parameter many times. To prevent this, we propose transfer function optimization plan using crowd sourcing. In multi user environment, we use weight value for reliability level for each user. Because transfer function parameter used previous users is provided next users, they can be used effectively optimized transfer function and can reduce attempts.

In this paper, we examine Asymmetric Multi-Processing Environment to provide LDW service. Asymmetric Multi-Processing Environment consists of high-speed MCU to support rapid image processing and low-speed MCU for controlling with other ECU at the control domain. Also we designed rapid image process application and LDW application Software Component(SW-C) according to the development process rule of AUTOSAR. To communicate between two MCUs, timer based polling based IPC was designed. Also to communicate with other ECUs(Electronic Control Units), we designed CAN messages to provide alarm information and receiving CAN message to catch the Turn signal. We confirm the possibility of the various ADAS development using an Asymmetric Multi-Processing Environment and AUTOSAR platform. We also expect providing ISO 26262 functional safety.

Recently, many of people concentrates on the importance of elevator safety system for the elevator accident of traction machine malfunction. Also, IT convergence has enlarged various field for the effort of enhanced traditional industry. In this paper, we define that the safety is to minimize the dangerous factor, then explain the rules of elevator installation. Through the expert`s decision we could find out the dangerous factors are poor check, malfunction of amalgamative and user`s mistake. We propose the IT convergence managing system for the effective alternative method of elevator safety system.
Implementation of Untouched Interactive Digital Signage Control using Kinect

In this paper, we propose a digital signage method that can control the contents of the screen and download the desired files to individual smart terminal with no touch of digital signage screen by using Kinect. The main features and contributions of the proposed method are as follows. First, can solve the problems such as the risk of bacterial infection, not cleanliness on the screen as well as maximize advertising effectiveness. Second, can support bi-directional communications with computer while we touch only wanted advertisements. The performance evaluation shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. Especially, we can see that the proposed system operates through the recognition of user`s actions when the cursor is within the scope of a certain coordinate and the file transfer time to download information is different depending on the PC performance and the version of personal smart device.

Nowadays, telemedicine and remote prescription has been operating as a pilot basis. However, in case of remote hospitals without encrypting the biometric data transmission and its contents, the patient prescription data hacked from hackers who changed prescription medications can be serious obstacles to the patient. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, password encryption, personal identification information, biometric data security on the patient`s prescription and remote medical information system, and implementation of the encryption algorithm are proposed.

With the rapid development of major functions in a smartphone, many applications interacting with a smartphone are introduced and mobile applications converged with various related technologies are announced and rapidly disseminated recently. In this paper, we propose the design of a smart mobile application operated with devices like sensors in order to utilize various functions of the smartphone effectively. The mobile application proposed in this paper uses the bluetooth module of the smartphone, composes the wireless ad hoc network with various sensors around us, and collects bionic context information of the user in real time. The smart application designed and implemented in this paper is the sensor based healthy diet application that can fulfill healthy diet program by reflecting the user`s sensed bionic context data in real time.
A Study on Multipath Effect Mitigation using Trigger Signal in the 3D TDOA Positioning System

A study on the indoor positioning system has been active recently, and TDOA technique using acoustic signal has been used generally. The drawback of the TDOA is very weak against signal distortion due to multipath effect. Especially to estimate the smartphone position, the sound distortion is very severe, and the generated radio signal jitter when using WLAN or Bluetooth as a time reference signal makes the receiver difficult to estimate the position. In this paper, acoustic trigger signal for the receiver preparing the positioning signal reception is proposed, and the mitigation of the multipath effect is shown.
A Study on the Weight Allocation Method of Humanist Input Value and Multiplex Modality using Tacit Data

User`s sensitivity is recognized as a very important parameter for communication between company, government and personnel. Especially in many studies, researchers use voice tone, voice speed, facial expression, moving direction and speed of body, and gestures to recognize the sensitivity. Multiplex modality is more precise than single modality however it has limited recognition rate and overload of data processing according to multi-sensing also an excellent algorithm is needed to deduce the sensing value. That is as each modality has different concept and property, errors might be happened to convert the human sensibility to standard values. To deal with this matter, the sensibility expression modality is needed to be extracted using technologies like analyzing of relational network, understanding of context and digital filter from multiplex modality. In specific situation to recognize the sensibility if the priority modality and other surrounding modalities are processed to implicit values, a robust system can be composed in comparison to the consuming of computer resource. As a result of this paper, it is proposed how to assign the weight of multiplex modality using implicit data.
Vehicle Behavior Characteristics According to the Change of Vehicle Speed and Road Vertical Grades

When a vehicle is running on the road, the surface conditions and environment of road by reason of insufficient road design standards is so greatly that have an effect on drivers. In particular, the road design of the past is conducted empirical and ideal judgment, but recently, the new technical development is attempted that three and four dimensional parameters is reconsidering and adjusting at the same time. In this study, we analyzed the vehicle behavior characteristics according to the change of driving speed and vertical grades on braking at the peak point of the frozen road by using a PC-crash program for traffic accident reconstruction. As a result, we were conformed the fact that the friction coefficient of road surface and the vehicle speed is affected by vehicle behavior characteristics for intersection vertical grades and were showed the feasibility of verification through a simulation in order to solve the problem of road design in advance.
A Feature Point Tracking Method By Using Template Matching and Buffer

Today, a surgery for cataract of Korean society frequently come to operation. A method for treating cataracts have been developed in various ways. Widely used method is a method to use the artificial lens and replace it with the existing lens. The surgery can be inserted exactly according to the angle and points that are calculated in advance in the intraocular lens insertion is important. However, The lens insertion point can delete or blur the display due to such factors as foreign material coming out of the eye during surgery. Therefore, The lens insertion point needs a method of tracking the image processing by receiving the camera images in real time display method. In this paper, we propose a feature point tracking method by using template matching and buffer. a simulation results show that our ideas can track a feature point of the intraocular lens insertion.
Design of Knowledge Management System based on SNS

Knowledge sharing by collective intelligence, and knowledge production/sharing by outer cooperation is also important for the company. Therefore, it is needed the next generation KMS(Knowledge Management System) designed and built which based on SNS. In my paper, the problems of KMS are analyzed and new KMS`s requirements and paradigm changes are examined by analysis of investigation of existing KMS. KMS based on SNS is appropriate for the next generation KMS in consideration of new KMS`s requirements, that is, collective intelligence, open innovation, and convergence with IT technology. So a building method of KMS based on SNS is presented by new next generation KMS`s architecture, main design and knowledge-talk design.
Performance Evaluation of MissLess Soft Keyboard with Recommendation

In this paper, we evaluated the performance of recommendation and run time of the MissLess soft keyboard developed in the previous research. The MissLess keyboard assigns a hash code per each word for all words within its mobile dictionary. It decides recommendation words through three consecutive processes such as hash filtering, sorting based on spelling similarity, and finally recommendation based on frequency of use. Each process has some factors to have an impact on the recommendation success. We conducted experiments in an Android mobile device running the MissLess keyboard and measured performance of recommendation and run time overhead according to the impact factors. In this paper, we showed the experiment results.

The technology to predict and prevent an accident of the cable system in power station is required. The techniques of inactivated diagnosis, partial discharge and
, have been adopted to diagnoze the operating characteristics of cables, but it is not so easy to find out problems in cables in an inactive state before the cable accident happens. In this paper, we did a research on the 6.6kV high-power cables, installed at Korean Western Power Station Co., Ltd. in order to diagonize the cables, playing a major role at the station. We have developed an equipment to measure an insulation resistance based on the temperature and current of the cable. By installing the system in a power station, we could find abnormal status for evaluation of the lifetime. In the short term, by analyzing the data, we apply the research result to the diagnosis and evaluation of the 6.6kV power cables. In the long run, however, we plan to reduce the cost of the installation and operation of cable systems at power stations.
Analysis of Deterioration Characteristics by Filtering Processes at 6.6kV Power Cable Systems in Operation

With a development of modern industry, demand for electric power is rapidly increasing and the capacity of power transfer is required to become bigger and bigger. At power station, the high-voltage power cable is used as the only method in order to transfer electric power. In this paper, we have analyzed the deterioration characteristics of 6.6kV power cable systems in operation. For the time duration of 2000 days, we have measured the cable in operation in order to extract the data for the deterioration characteristics. By analyzing the data by means of several steps of filtering processes, we could obtain the linear relations of insulation resistances as a function of time. Furthermore, we can verify that the progress characteristics in deterioration process of 6.6kV power cable systems follows the process of heat deterioration.

In this paper, we designed monopole microstrip antenna for WLAN/WiMAX system. The monopole antenna is designed by FR-4 substrate with size is
. The proposed antenna is based on a planar monopole design which cover WLAN and WiMAX frequency bands. To obtain the optimized parameters, we used the simulator, CST`s Microwave Studio Program and found the parameters that greatly effect antenna characteristics. Using the obtained parameters, the antenna is designed. Thus the proposed antenna satisfied the -10 dB impedance bandwidth requirement while simultaneously covering the WLAN and WiMAX bands. And characteristics of gain and radiation patterns are obtained for WLAN/WiMAX frequency bands.

The New efficient Mux-based scan latch cell design and scan test of LOS/LOC modes are proposed for detection of delay faults in digital logic circuits. The proposed scan cell design can support LOS(Launch-off-Shift) and LOC(Launch-off-Capture) tests with high fault coverage and low scan power and it can alleviate the problem of the slow selector enable signal and hold signal by supporting the logic capable of switching at the operational clock speeds. Also, it efficiently controls the power dissipation of the scan cell design during scan testing. Functional operation and timing simulation waveform for proposed scan hold cell design shows improvement in at-speed test timing in both test modes.

Recent development and generalization of Internet technology contributes to the large scale of commerce and capital followed by appearance and growth of large portal sites. As a result, the personal data on the Internet not deleted for a long period of time is a new risk factor, for example, the invasion of people`s privacy. In particular, exposing personal data like witch-hunts is a critical issue so that the person concerned cannot carry on with normal life. This study suggests the necessity of the right to request personal data deletion related to a person concerned on Internet sites, a method of introducing the right in Korea, and a method of improving the application.
Proposal of Minimum Spanning Tree Algorithm using 2-Edges Connected Grap

This paper suggests a fast minimum spanning tree algorithm which simplify the original graph to 2-edge connected graph, and using the cycling property. Borůvka algorithm firstly gets the partial spanning tree using cycle property for one-edge connected graph that selects the only one minimum weighted edge (e) per vertex (v). Additionally, that selects minimum weighted edge between partial spanning trees using cut property. Kruskal algorithm uses cut property for ascending ordered of all edges. Reverse-delete algorithm uses cycle property for descending ordered of all edges. Borůvka and Kruskal algorithms always perform |e| times for all edges. The proposed algorithm obtains 2-edge connected graph that selects 2 minimum weighted edges for each vertex firstly.
